The development of information and communication technology (ICT) is an important demand in the world of education, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level which prepares students to enter the digital-based world of work. However, students in class X of SMKS Efata still show delays in mastering ICT which has an impact on the learning process and their competency readiness. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause students to delay in mastering ICT as well as identify strategic steps to improve their skills. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the limitations of technology facilities, the lack of experience of students using computer devices before entering vocational schools, and the low intensity of ICT learning practices are the dominant factors that affect the delay in mastering technology. This study aims to examine the role of National Education Standards (SNP) in realizing a quality and equitable education system in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach to various scientific sources discussing the implementation of SNP, including educator professionalism, education management, and quality equity between regions. The results of the study show that the SNP functions as the main instrument for quality assurance as well as a strategy for educational equity through eight standards that must be met by each educational unit. The implementation of the SNP has been proven to improve the quality of learning, the competence of educators, and the accountability of school management. In addition, the SNP plays a role in narrowing the gap in educational quality between regions by establishing uniform performance indicators at the national level. However, implementation in the field still faces obstacles in the form of limited human resources, infrastructure, and uneven policy support. Therefore, collaboration among stakeholders is needed to optimize the implementation of the SNP through continuous training, managerial supervision, and strengthening of the internal quality assurance system in schools. This study confirms that the SNP is a strategic foundation for building a quality, inclusive, and equitable national education system in the era of educational transformation.

This study aims to explore the role of digital storytelling (DST) as a 21st-century learning strategy in strengthening character education. The rapid development of digital technology and the growing emphasis on student-centered learning have made DST a relevant pedagogical approach that integrates creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication with values-based education. Using a simple systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this study analyzed eight peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2024, obtained from international academic databases Scopus. Thematic content analysis was used to synthesize findings and map the contribution of DST to 21st-century learning competencies and character development. The results identified eight key themes: increased student engagement, improved collaboration and communication, enhanced critical thinking and decision-making, creativity and multimodal expression, self-reflection and identity building, empathy and social awareness, interdisciplinary and authentic learning, and the formation of moral values. These findings support constructivist and experiential learning theories and suggest that DST not only enhances cognitive skills but also facilitates affective and ethical development. The study concludes that DST can be a transformative instructional tool in modern education. Practical implications include integrating DST into curricula across disciplines and levels, and equipping educators with training in digital pedagogy and reflective teaching design. Further research is recommended to explore DST implementation in primary and secondary schools and to evaluate its impact using mixed methods.

This research explores how transformational leadership, work environment, and workload affect the organizational commitment of the Kebumen Regency Education, Youth, and Sports Office. This census-based quantitative study used a sample of 120 respondents, and data were collected through questionnaires. Validity, reliability, and classical assumptions were tested before the analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 26 to test the relationships between variables. The findings reveal that transformational leadership does not have a significant effect on organizational commitment. On the other hand, an excellent work environment greatly enhances employee welfare and has a substantial positive impact on organizational commitment. Workload is also found to positively affect organizational commitment, as a proportional workload encourages higher levels of employee accountability. Together, these three independent variables explain 55.4% of the variance in organizational commitment, with other factors accounting for the remaining portion. The study concludes that improving the work environment and managing workload effectively are key factors in increasing organizational commitment.

This study aims to examine in depth how gender equality values are integrated into Buddhist Religious Education (PAB) at the junior high school level, based on the Merdeka Curriculum. Through a content analysis approach to character representation, women's roles, language, visual illustrations, access to Dhamma education, gender equality values, role models of female characters, students' critical reflections, and narrative-visual consistency, this study identifies significant gaps in gender representation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through content analysis of PAB textbooks for grades VII–IX and interviews with three Dharma teachers in Jakarta. The results show that the representation of female characters in the textbooks is very limited and the learning narratives tend to be normative without addressing structural aspects of gender inequality. The findings indicate the dominance of male characters, the lack of functional narratives about nuns and women, and the use of language and illustrations that tend to reinforce traditional gender stereotypes. Although there are attempts to mention gender equality in some chapters, the integration is not comprehensive and consistent across the materials. This article recommends the development of a more inclusive curriculum and teaching materials, encouraging balanced gender representation, and integrating gender equality values holistically in Buddhist religious education to form a more equitable and comprehensive understanding for students, as well as teacher training based on critical pedagogy and revision of learning content to reflect gender equality in Buddhist teachings.

Digital transformation in Indonesia's financial sector has accelerated the adoption of cashless payment systems, with QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as the main innovation since its introduction by Bank Indonesia in 2019. Generation Z, as a digital native group, is the dominant user of QRIS due to their preference for fast, practical, and connected services. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of lifestyle, ease of use, trust, and financial attitudes on the decision to use QRIS by Generation Z in Bogor Regency, as well as test the role of financial literacy as a moderation variable. The research approach uses quantitative methods through inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that only the variables of ease of use and financial attitude had a significant effect on the decision to use QRIS, with a significance value of < 0.05 and t calculated > t table. These findings reinforce the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) model, which emphasizes the importance of the perception of convenience in driving the adoption of digital payment technology. Meanwhile, the variables of lifestyle and trust did not have a significant effect, which may be due to the level of general trust that has been formed in QRIS and the digital lifestyle of respondents who have not fully developed. These results confirm the need to develop a more intuitive user experience and increase education related to digital financial literacy to strengthen the sustainable use of QRIS among Generation Z.

This study aims to analyze the role of digitalization in driving social development in Indonesia through the perspective of development sociology. Digitalization has become a major force transforming social structures, values, and interaction patterns in societies worldwide. The results show that digital technology contributes significantly to increased social participation, economic empowerment, and equitable access to information. However, on the other hand, challenges arise in the form of a digital divide between urban and rural communities that can deepen social inequality. In the context of development sociology, digitalization is not only viewed as a technological process, but also as a social phenomenon that influences the dynamics of community life. Therefore, digital-based development must be directed inclusively so that all levels of society receive equal benefits. The government, educational institutions, and the community need to synergize in strengthening digital literacy and maintaining socio-cultural values amidst the current of technological globalization. With a fair and participatory approach, digitalization can be an important means of strengthening social solidarity and realizing shared prosperity.

Low nutritional awareness and high consumption of unhealthy snacks remain critical issues among elementary school children, potentially affecting their growth and academic performance. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a nutrition education intervention using poster media and paper-based quizzes in improving nutritional awareness among fourth to sixth grade students. The community service activity was conducted by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) students as part of the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program in three elementary schools SD Negeri 1, 2, and 3 Kalirancang, Kebumen Regency. A descriptive-evaluative approach was employed through participatory engagement using simple, low-tech educational media to address technological limitations in the school environment. Data were collected from quiz score analyses and participatory observations during the intervention. The results showed a high participation rate (80–90%) and a substantial improvement in students’ cognitive understanding of nutrition, as indicated by the majority of correct quiz responses. However, behavioral observation revealed a noticeable gap between knowledge and practice, as many students continued to consume unhealthy snacks during school breaks. It can be concluded that poster and quiz-based interventions are effective in enhancing students’ nutritional knowledge but are insufficient to alter behavior without supportive environmental and policy interventions at the school level.
