This study aims to determine the extent to which mental ability influences volleyball underhand passing skills and strategies for improving them in seventh-grade students at MTs SA Atholibiyah Bumijawa. The mental abilities studied included learning motivation, concentration, and self-confidence, as all three are considered important factors in supporting sports performance. The study used an experimental survey method with a correlation approach. The sample was determined through a purposive sampling technique, meaning only students who were actively involved in volleyball learning were included as respondents. The research instruments included a questionnaire to measure students' mental ability levels and an observation sheet to assess underhand passing skill practice. Data analysis was conducted using a correlation test to identify the relationship between mental ability and underhand passing skills, and regression analysis to measure the magnitude of the effect. The results showed a significant effect of mental ability on underhand passing skills. Students with high learning motivation tend to be more enthusiastic and consistent in practicing. Good concentration enables students to control movements, maintain balance, and manage timing when passing. In addition, strong self-confidence encourages students' courage in making decisions and reduces technical errors. This results in passing skills with more accuracy, control, and optimal timing. Improving strategies that can be implemented include structured training with the use of assistive devices to enhance technique, providing motivation and positive feedback from teachers to maintain enthusiasm, and focused training such as game simulations to strengthen concentration. The findings of this study confirm that mental development plays a crucial role in learning sports skills, particularly volleyball, thereby improving both the quality of learning and student achievement.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the lifestyle of credit relationship managers (RMs) and the potential for fraud on the occurrence of non-performing loans in the banking sector. Relationship managers are the spearheads of credit distribution, interacting directly with customers, so their behavior, lifestyle, and integrity have a significant impact on the quality of a bank's credit portfolio. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a systematic literature review approach, reviewing various recent studies related to bank employee lifestyles, factors driving fraud, and their correlation with non-performing loans. The results indicate that a consumptive lifestyle disproportionate to income can increase the risk of fraudulent behavior, such as manipulation of credit analysis or collusion with customers, which ultimately results in an increase in non-performing loans. Furthermore, weak internal control systems, pressure to achieve credit targets, and moral hazard exacerbate this risk. A lifestyle that prioritizes social symbols and self-image can also encourage employees to engage in deviant behavior to maintain this lifestyle. Several studies have shown that RMs trapped in a hedonistic lifestyle are more vulnerable to conflicts of interest and violations of professional ethics. Meanwhile, the potential for fraud in banking practices is also influenced by employees' weak personal financial literacy, as well as limited training in risk management and ongoing work ethics. In an organizational context, a work culture oriented toward achieving targets without regard for the quality of credit analysis has the potential to create a work climate that is permissive of irregularities. This study recommends strengthening a culture of integrity through the establishment of a firm code of ethics, technology-based supervision (such as an AI-based fraud detection system), and regular training on a healthy financial lifestyle and risk management for RMs.

Background : Self-management of hyperglycemia refers to a series of efforts carried out independently by individuals suffering from diabetes or hyperglycemia to manage and control their health condition. These efforts include regulating diet, physical activity, medication adherence, blood glucose monitoring, and preventive measures to avoid complications. Such complications may include vascular issues like heart disease and stroke, as well as neuropathic problems such as nerve damage. Proper implementation of self-management practices can help stabilize blood glucose levels and significantly improve the overall quality of life for patients. General Objective : This study aims to examine the effect of self-management on the risk of complications in patients with hyperglycemia in the working area of the Kandangan Health Center, Kediri Regency.Research Method : This research utilized a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach accompanied by a control group. The sampling technique applied was probability sampling using simple random sampling, involving a total of 45 respondents. The research instruments included the Diabetes Self-Management Questionnaire (DSMQ) and observation sheets to assess the risk of complications. The study population consisted of all hyperglycemic patients residing in Putuk Hamlet, Banaran Village, Kandangan District, Kediri Regency. Data processing was carried out through editing, coding, and tabulation, followed by data analysis using the Wilcoxon statistical test. Results : The Wilcoxon test results showed a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of self-management on reducing the risk of complications in hyperglycemic patients. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. Recommendation : The implementation of self-management in hyperglycemic patients is essential to prevent long-term complications. Thus, healthcare professionals, especially nurses, are encouraged to provide continuous education regarding diabetes self-management. This will enable patients to manage their health conditions independently and reduce the risk of further complications.

Mindfulness or mindfulness is increasingly promoted in Western countries as a psychological strategy to improve emotional regulation and self-control, including in the context of reducing aggressive behavior, especially when individuals experience a state of exhaustion or ego depletion. However, the effectiveness of this approach in the context of non-Western cultures has not been widely explored. This study aims to replicate the study of Yusainy and Lawrence (2015) in Indonesia to test whether the induction of mindfulness can also moderate aggression after ego depletion in different cultural environments. This experimental research involved 119 Indonesian students as participants. Using a laboratory design, participants were divided into conditions of induction of mindfulness and control, and were asked to complete a reaction time competition task that had been modified to measure aggression (through the intensity of the sound explosions released against a fictitious opponent). In addition, an additional measure of the frequency of delayed maximum burst release was used to evaluate more subtle forms of aggression, particularly in female participants. The results showed that mindfulness significantly moderated the relationship between ego-depletion and aggression conditions, especially in low- to moderate-provoking situations. Mindfulness induction also showed improved self-control performance after participants completed aggression tasks. Another important finding is that the positive effect of mindfulness on aggression reduction is most visible in more subtle indicators of aggression, especially in groups of women who experience ego thinning. In conclusion, the results of this study reinforce the cross-cultural validity of the Western mindfulness approach and emphasize the importance of using more sensitive aggression measures, especially in assessing the effects of psychological interventions on female populations in non-Western cultures such as Indonesia.

This study aims to examine diabetes mellitus from an Islamic spiritual perspective, as well as how the concept of a harmonious family and the teachings of the Qur'an can be implemented as part of healing and prevention efforts. This study uses a qualitative method based on libraries by examining primary and secondary sources in the form of the Qur'an, hadith, health literature, and the thoughts of scholars. The results of the study indicate that diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by increased blood glucose levels due to insulin disorders. From an Islamic perspective, one of the causes of this disease is excessive stress, an unbalanced diet, and a lack of self-control, all of which are forms of the physical and spiritual world. The Qur'an provides a solution through a spiritual approach such as dhikr, fasting, and honey consumption. In the context of Islamic law, maintaining health is part of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, especially in maintaining the soul (ḥifẓ al-nafs) and maintaining religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), because a healthy body is needed to carry out worship perfectly. Therefore, efforts to cure and prevent diabetes through a spiritual approach are not only medical and psychological, but also a sharia obligation that has worship value. This study confirms that a holistic approach between medical, spiritual, and Islamic law can provide a positive contribution in dealing with chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus.

This study aims to explore the concept of self-healing in the perspective of the Qur'an as a method of recovery and maintenance of mental health. The research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method with primary sources of the Qur'an and secondary sources in the form of books of interpretation, psychological literature, and Islamic books. The analysis technique uses thematic content analysis with the maudhū'ī interpretation method to collect and analyze verses related to self-healing values such as patience, dhikr, tawakkul, prayer, and gratitude with a contextual and psychological approach. The results show that mental health disorders according to the Qur'an can be caused by life tests and despicable traits such as despair, pride, spite, anger, prejudice, and anxiety, which result in mental unrest if not resolved. The Qur'an provides self-healing methods through the values of forgiveness, gratitude, patience, prayer, remembrance, and muhasabah, which are psychologically proven to help individuals calm the soul, control emotions, increase self-resilience, and strengthen faith in facing life's tests. Thus, Qur'an-based self-healing makes a significant contribution to mental health recovery, making individuals wiser, stronger, and having peace and cleanliness of heart in living life.

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of DEMASI (Video Animation and Simulation) on the ability to self-evacuate landslides in class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Dongko. Pre-experimental design research design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach without control. The purposive sampling technique obtained 34 respondents from 170 populations. The research instrument used an observation sheet on self-evacuation capabilities for landslide disasters. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test with α 0.05. The results of the research before being given DEMASI intervention (Video Animation and Simulation) were that all (100%) respondents had poor abilities, and after the intervention almost all (85.3%) respondents had good abilities. Results: The statistical analysis showed that the p-value was 0.000 < α 0.05, so there was an influence of DEMASI (Video Animation and Simulation) on students' self-evacuation ability for landslide disasters. The DEMASI method (Video Animation and Simulation) combines two methods that are more interesting, effective, and interactive because audiovisuals recorded by optic and auditory nerves are sent to the occipital lobe and temporal lobe to be described and processed, which involves many brain regions and the frontal lobe so that they can influence the respondent's abilities. The DEMASI method can be used as an educational medium for students and other school residents in an effort to improve their ability to self-evacuate in landslide disasters.

This community service program at the Class I Correctional Facility SAE L’SIMA Malang was designed to address the urgent need for effective vocational skills development among inmates through productive poultry farming activities. One of the key challenges in poultry farming is the low success rate of egg hatching when relying on conventional, manually operated incubators that often lack precise temperature and humidity control. To overcome this problem, the program introduced the development and implementation of an automatic incubator system as a technological innovation to support both learning and productivity. The program employed a participatory approach, beginning with preliminary site surveys to identify existing resources and limitations within the correctional facility. Subsequently, the team carried out the design and assembly of an automatic egg incubator equipped with a digital system to monitor and regulate temperature and humidity levels. Functional testing was conducted using both chicken and duck eggs to ensure reliability and applicability across different types of poultry. In addition to the incubator prototype, the program also produced a practical user manual to guide inmates in operating and maintaining the equipment independently. The results demonstrated that the automatic incubator significantly improved the hatching success rate compared to traditional manual methods, despite initial challenges such as limited availability of components, restricted funding, and the reliance on outdated manual equipment. The inmates showed high levels of participation and adaptability in learning the operation of the new system, highlighting the potential of this program to enhance not only technical competence but also self-confidence. In conclusion, this initiative successfully integrated vocational training with technological innovation, offering a sustainable and practical solution for small to medium-scale poultry operations. Beyond improving technical skills, the program has broader social implications by equipping inmates with marketable competencies that can support their reintegration into society and contribute to their economic independence after release.

Negative thinking represents a type of cognitive distortion that can negatively impact an individual's mental health and impede their ability to adapt effectively in daily life. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of three cognitive strategies self-talk, reframing, and thought stopping in managing such negative thoughts. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, this study conducted a literature review alongside participatory observation. Data were gathered by analyzing various academic articles, books, and journals focusing on these three techniques in the context of controlling negative thought patterns. Findings reveal that each technique offers unique benefits: self-talk helps in cultivating a more positive internal dialogue, reframing enables individuals to interpret problems from a more constructive angle, and thought stopping effectively halts the recurrence of negative thoughts through conscious intervention. These results indicate that these cognitive techniques can serve as practical psychological interventions for managing negative thinking.
