The formation of women’s morality is a complex process involving the interaction between cognitive and affective dimensions in human psychological development. Lawrence Kohlberg’s theory emphasizes that morality develops through logical stages of reasoning oriented toward universal principles of justice, while Martin L. Hoffman highlights empathy as the affective foundation driving moral behavior. This study aims to integrate these two theories to provide a comprehensive understanding of women’s moral formation through a qualitative-analytical library research approach. The analysis examines the assumptions, strengths, and limitations of each theory to identify the convergence between cognitive morality and affective empathy. The findings reveal that justice and care are complementary aspects of human morality. Empathy serves as the emotional engine motivating moral actions, whereas cognitive reasoning provides direction and justification. Mature women’s morality is not solely based on care or empathy but represents a dynamic synthesis between rational thought and emotional understanding. This integration reflects a more holistic and contextual view of morality grounded in social relationships and human connectedness. Practically, this study recommends a moral education model that integrates rationality and empathy as the foundation for developing women’s character. Such an approach is essential to foster a generation capable of discerning right from wrong through logic while also possessing deep social awareness and emotional responsibility.

The employee leave application information system is a digital solution designed to simplify the process of submitting, approving, and managing leave within an institution. This internship project resulted in the development of a system called SiCuti, which was built using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database. The system provides two main roles: employees and administrators/supervisors. Employees can apply for leave according to their entitlements, such as annual leave with a maximum of 12 working days, maternity leave for 3 months, pilgrimage leave (Hajj) which can be taken once during their service period, as well as special leave for important reasons such as marriage or the death of an immediate family member, typically lasting 1–3 days. When applying, employees may also upload supporting documents and monitor the status of their applications through the leave status menu.Administrators or supervisors have broader authority, including reviewing the list of leave requests, approving or rejecting applications, and managing employee leave quotas to ensure compliance with regulations. In addition, administrators can track the complete leave history of employees through an integrated dashboard. This feature supports faster, more transparent, and accountable decision-making processes. The results of local testing indicate that SiCuti has the potential to increase efficiency in administrative leave processes that were previously carried out manually, making them faster, more transparent, and more structured. The interactive dashboard design also facilitates monitoring from both employees and administrators. With the implementation of SiCuti, it is expected that the leave management process can reduce the risk of human error, ensure data accuracy, and support transparency and accountability in human resource management once the system is fully deployed within the institution.

This study discusses the shift in the meaning of delinquency in Articles 2 and 3 of the Corruption Crime Law (Corruption Law) which has an impact on law enforcement for corrupt perpetrators. In practice, the element of state losses must be clearly proven so that the perpetrator can be held criminally responsible. However, there is a phenomenon of corrupt perpetrators who return state losses to obscure the elements of loss as stipulated in Article 2 of the Corruption Law, so that they have the potential to escape criminal snare. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, through literature studies and studies of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 25/PUU-XIV/2016. The results of the study show that the basis of the applicants' application in the decision is divided into four aspects, namely the authority of the Constitutional Court, the legal standing of the applicant, the object of the application, and the reason for the application. The Constitutional Court judge in the decision considered three main aspects, namely the authority of the Constitutional Court, the legal standing of the applicant, and the subject matter of the application. The judge's legal considerations emphasized that the phrase "may" in Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3 of the Corruption Law caused legal uncertainty, so that the nature of the offense in the two articles changed to a formal offense. This has an impact on uncertain and fair legal protection for applicants and has serious implications for law enforcement of corruption crimes in Indonesia.

The process of signing on and off a seafarer's book for ship crew is a vital stage in the shipping world that requires thorough preparation and orderly implementation to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the ship. Signing on a seafarer's book involves recording and confirming the date and location of boarding the ship in the seafarer's book, which serves as official proof that the document holder has joined the ship's crew. Generally, this stage is accompanied by the preparation of a Seafarer's Employment Agreement (PKL) containing salary details and obtaining approval from the Harbor Master. Conversely, sign off is a procedure carried out when the work contract period in the PKL ends, or earlier for certain reasons such as late salary payments or discomfort in the work. The purpose of this study is to identify the obstacles that arise in the process of managing the sign-on/off of seafarer's crew books at PT. Baruna Mitra Segara Lines, Bandar Lampung. In compiling this paper, the author applies two approaches, namely the field observation method (field study) and the library study method. Both methods are used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism for managing the sign-on/off of seafarer's books, while also identifying the obstacles that arise so that the company can maximize the process. The research findings reveal that there are obstacles in the implementation of the sign-on/off of seafarer's books that are not fully in accordance with procedures. However, this process still has a positive and significant impact on the efficiency of the departure time of ship crews. This finding confirms that improving procedures and enforcing operational standards are key to improving the quality of document management services at PT. Baruna Mitra Segara Lines

The motorcycle industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid development, particularly in the scooter segment, which dominates the market due to its convenience and efficiency. Despite this growth, Yamaha’s market share has shown fluctuations, indicating inconsistent consumer purchase intention. This study aims to analyze the effect of Word of Mouth (WOM), Brand Image, and Social Media Marketing (SMM) on purchase intention of Yamaha motorcycles in Denpasar City, using the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) as the underlying framework. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 104 respondents. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results demonstrate that WOM, Brand Image, and SMM each have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, with WOM emerging as the most dominant factor. The regression model indicates that these three variables jointly explain 77.2% of the variance in purchase intention, while the remaining 22.8% is explained by other factors not included in this study. The findings confirm that strengthening WOM, enhancing brand image, and optimizing social media strategies are essential to increase consumer purchase intention. This study contributes to both theoretical development and managerial practice in the field of consumer behavior and marketing strategy in the automotive industry.

Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) serves as a vital instrument in supporting regional independence and public welfare. For decades, the Land and Building Tax (PBB) has been one of the primary sources of local revenue; however, excessive dependence on PBB is considered less effective in promoting equitable economic development and enhancing citizens’ economic rights. Forcing PBB increases of hundreds of percent, as has recently occurred in a number of regions such as Pati Regency, Central Java, and dozens of other regions amid the current difficult economic situation, has invited criticism and protests. This policy has been accused of violating human rights. For this reason this study aims to analyze the urgency of exploring alternative local revenue sources beyond PBB, such as local taxes, public service retributions, management of regional assets, and innovative revenue models based on local potential. The research uses a qualitative approach through literature review and fiscal policy analysis at the regional level. The findings indicate that diversification of local revenue sources can strengthen regional fiscal capacity, improve public service delivery, and foster broader community economic participation. By sustainably and transparently developing local potential, local governments can not only enhance community welfare but also uphold the principle of economic justice as mandated by the Constitution. Therefore, optimizing local revenue sources beyond PBB represents a strategic step toward inclusive and equitable regional economic independence.

This study examines a critical perspective on the concept of rationality, which has long been regarded as the primary foundation of logical and objective decision-making. Using a qualitative approach through a literature study method, this research explores the integration of psychological, philosophical, and socio-cultural dimensions in understanding the limitations and complexities of human rationality. The findings reveal that rationality is not entirely neutral or free from bias. The psychological perspective highlights the influence of cognitive biases such as confirmation bias and anchoring effect, which often turn rationality into a justification for emotionally driven decisions. From a philosophical standpoint, David Hume’s argument that “reason is the slave of the passions” emphasizes the subordination of reason to emotion, while Horkheimer and Adorno reveal how modern rationality has evolved into an instrument of domination through ideologies of efficiency and control. In the socio-cultural dimension, rationality is shown to be non-universal, shaped by specific cultural and historical contexts, as exemplified by Max Weber’s concept of the “iron cage,” describing how individuals become trapped within bureaucratic systems of rationalization. The study concludes that classical rationality, characterized by its deterministic and calculative nature, is inherently bounded and insufficient to address the uncertainty and complexity of the modern world. Therefore, a new paradigm of rationality is needed—one that is integrative, reflective, and humanistic, combining logic with emotional, ethical, and social dimensions to produce decisions that are not only rational but also just and humane.

Business entities often face bankruptcy risks due to various factors, including accounting errors, limited experience, or small-cap transactions. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated financial conditions for many companies, such as PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk., which experienced a significant revenue decline. Additionally, individuals may face bankruptcy due to reasons like job termination or business failures. The primary cause of bankruptcy lies in the imbalance between debt and income, often worsened by poor financial planning. Government regulations can help mitigate bankruptcy risks, such as through health insurance and credit restrictions. The bankruptcy process aims to provide fair resolutions between debtors and creditors while safeguarding public interests. Bankruptcy can also offer debtors the opportunity to restructure their debt, maintain economic stability, and prevent social loss. In practice, bankruptcy involves the management of the debtor's assets by a trustee and the proportional distribution of proceeds to creditors. The application of freedom of contract and legal certainty principles in debtor-creditor relationships is crucial to ensuring a transparent, efficient, and equitable process.

This study examines the epistemology of monotheism from the perspective of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas as outlined in his book Islam and Secularism. The main focus of this study is the unity of revelation and reason, monotheism as a basic principle of science, the rejection of secular epistemology, and the ultimate goal of science, which in this context is ma'rifatullah (knowing God). This study uses a library method with a qualitative-descriptive approach and text analysis (content analysis), focusing on Chapters III and V in al-Attas's book, as well as relevant supporting literature on the epistemology of monotheism and the Islamization of science. The results show that the epistemology of monotheism according to al-Attas emphasizes the importance of integration between reason, revelation, and spiritual experience. In this view, science is not only intellectual, but also moral and spiritual. This integration forms a holistic framework of science, which not only functions to develop human morals and character, but also as a means to know and serve God. Thus, the epistemology of monotheism provides a strong foundation for the development of Islamic science, while strengthening the identity of Islamic science in facing the challenges of modernity.

This paper aims to explore the hermeneutics proposed by Fatima Mernissi in reading a hadith, especially those related to the hadith of female leadership. In this case, the hadith narrated by Abu Bakrah's companion stated that "a people who entrust their affairs to women will not be successful." This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive analytical nature, which focuses on analyzing the sanad and matan and revealing how the socio-historical context of a hadith is narrated. The results of this study indicate that the hermeneutic concept proposed by Fatima Mernissi is able to identify bias in the narration of a hadith. In this case, the hadith narrated by Abu Bakra is considered weak for several reasons, such as the incompleteness of Abu Bakra's genealogy, the influence of the social conditions of the hadith, and the lack of credibility of the narrator. Therefore, the hermeneutic approach proposed by Fatima Mernissi provides a reinterpretation of the hadiths so that they are in line with the principle of justice.

Mathematics learning plays an essential role in developing students’ logical, systematic, and analytical thinking skills. One of the higher-order thinking abilities that serves as a main focus in mathematics education is mathematical reasoning. This ability is closely related to the process of mathematical proof, which functions to justify the truth of a statement logically. This study aims to examine the relationship between the understanding of proof concepts and the development of mathematical reasoning among junior high school students through a library research approach. Data were obtained from various sources such as textbooks, journal articles, research findings, and relevant educational documents. The analysis was conducted using the content analysis method to review both conceptual and empirical findings from the literature. The results indicate that understanding the concept of proof not only helps students comprehend the logical structure of mathematics but also contributes to the development of deductive and reflective reasoning skills. Engaging in proof activities enables students to shift from merely imitative reasoning toward independent logical construction (creative reasoning). However, teaching proof at the junior high school level still faces several challenges, such as students’ limited understanding of basic logic, time constraints, and the lack of teacher training in teaching proof effectively. Therefore, learning strategies that emphasize students’ thought processes, provide opportunities for exploration, and integrate proof activities into meaningful learning contexts are needed.

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students’ character and religious values, including moderate attitudes in practicing religion. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Project Based Learning (PBL) in PAI as a means to strengthen moderate character and integrate religious moderation values through student collaborative projects. The research employs a literature review approach, collecting data from various scientific literature, journals, books, theses, and dissertations relevant to the topic. Data analysis is conducted using content analysis and narrative synthesis, applying both deductive and inductive reasoning. The findings indicate that PBL allows students to actively engage in contextual real-life projects, making the understanding of Islamic teachings more applicable and reflective. PBL also promotes the internalization of religious moderation values through collaboration and discussion among students, while reinforcing moderate character by developing social skills, empathy, and inclusive attitudes. Despite challenges such as limited resources and teacher readiness, appropriate implementation strategies can optimize the effectiveness of PBL in PAI. Therefore, PBL functions not only as a learning method but also as a transformative pedagogical strategy that shapes a generation of Muslim students who are knowledgeable, tolerant, and moderate.

This article offers a philosophical exploration of two classical concepts of self-control: zuhud in Islamic intellectual tradition and apatheia in Stoic philosophy, within the framework of modern character education. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study employs content analysis and philosophical hermeneutics to examine the works of key thinkers such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, Marcus Aurelius, and Epictetus. The findings indicate that zuhud emphasizes detachment from material desires through spiritual awareness and prioritization of divine values, while apatheia focuses on achieving inner peace and moral clarity by rationally managing emotions and eliminating unnecessary passions. Although rooted in different theological worldviews, both concepts converge in promoting a form of self-control that enhances inner freedom, ethical behavior, and self-discipline. This study argues that the integration of zuhud and apatheia can enrich contemporary character education by balancing rational moral reasoning with spiritual consciousness. The educational model proposed in this research emphasizes the importance of teaching students to reflect critically, regulate their emotions, and cultivate inner balance rooted in universal ethical values. Thus, the synthesis of both traditions contributes to the advancement of character education that is holistic, contemplative, and morally grounded.

This research responds to the contemporary educational crisis dominated by cognitive intelligence ('aql) resulting in the phenomenon of "smart but dry," by proposing Al-Ghazali's concept of "Education of Feelings" as a solution. The aim is to explore the concept, methods, and relevance of "Education of Feelings" to balance the intellectual and spiritual dimensions. This descriptive qualitative research uses library research on Al-Ghazali's works. The results show that "Education of Feelings" is a transformative effort that emphasizes the integration of knowledge through reason and intuition (dzawq), with the qalb (spiritual heart) as the center of knowledge reception. Its pedagogical core is the process of purifying the soul (Tazkiyatun Nafs) so that knowledge is beneficial (Ilm Nafi') and culminates in ma'rifah (true knowledge) and moral perfection (al-insan al-kamil). Practically, relevant methods include teacher role models (uswah hasanah) and learning based on deep reflection. This concept is relevant in the digital age because it serves as a spiritual bulwark, offering peace of mind (sakinah) and an ethical filter (dzawq) to counter individualism and information disruption. Consequently, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) education is advised to reconstruct its curriculum and evaluation to include a portfolio assessment of morals, in order to shape a cognitively intelligent and spiritually mature generation.
