This study aims to explore the role of digital storytelling (DST) as a 21st-century learning strategy in strengthening character education. The rapid development of digital technology and the growing emphasis on student-centered learning have made DST a relevant pedagogical approach that integrates creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication with values-based education. Using a simple systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this study analyzed eight peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2024, obtained from international academic databases Scopus. Thematic content analysis was used to synthesize findings and map the contribution of DST to 21st-century learning competencies and character development. The results identified eight key themes: increased student engagement, improved collaboration and communication, enhanced critical thinking and decision-making, creativity and multimodal expression, self-reflection and identity building, empathy and social awareness, interdisciplinary and authentic learning, and the formation of moral values. These findings support constructivist and experiential learning theories and suggest that DST not only enhances cognitive skills but also facilitates affective and ethical development. The study concludes that DST can be a transformative instructional tool in modern education. Practical implications include integrating DST into curricula across disciplines and levels, and equipping educators with training in digital pedagogy and reflective teaching design. Further research is recommended to explore DST implementation in primary and secondary schools and to evaluate its impact using mixed methods.

This study discusses the phenomenon of language interference on the Instagram account of public figure Cinta Laura Kiehl. Language interference is a language phenomenon characterized by the entry of elements from one language into another language commonly used by bilingual or multilingual speakers. In this context, the interference of Indonesian and English on Cinta Laura's Instagram account is interesting to study because of its consistent and striking use in various uploads and digital interactions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a content analysis method on data in the form of image captions uploaded by Cinta Laura at a certain time. The results of the study show that the interference that appears can be classified into several linguistic levels, namely lexical, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels. Lexical interference appears in the use of English vocabulary in Indonesian sentences. Meanwhile, morphological interference is seen from the structure of mixed word formation that does not comply with the rules in Indonesian. Syntactic interference appears in the form of sentence structures that follow the structure of English. Factors that cause interference include the speaker's bilingual background, the habit of using foreign languages in everyday life, the influence of an international social environment, and expressive and modern communication styles on social media. This study shows that interference in the context of social media is not merely a form of language deviation, but can also be seen as part of the construction of self-identity and digital communication strategies. These findings are expected to contribute to contemporary sociolinguistic studies and enrich understanding of the dynamics of language use in digital public spaces.

In the context of accelerating global economic volatility, organizations are increasingly required to adopt agile business models that enable them to remain competitive and resilient. Although business agility has been extensively discussed from structural and technological perspectives, the strategic role of Human Resources (HR) in shaping agile organizations and addressing the future of work remains insufficiently explored. This study aims to examine how HR contributes to organizational adaptability and resilience in uncertain environments by aligning human capital practices with agile frameworks. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews with HR leaders and employees in industries most exposed to economic disruption, including finance, technology, and manufacturing. The findings reveal four critical dimensions of HR’s role: workforce flexibility achieved through reskilling initiatives and adaptive work arrangements; agile leadership development to enhance decision-making under uncertainty; prioritization of employee well-being and engagement as foundations of organizational resilience; and digital HR transformation leveraging analytics and artificial intelligence to strengthen efficiency and collaboration. These findings validate and extend the existing literature, demonstrating that HR is not merely a supporting or administrative function but a strategic driver of agility. The study concludes that by embedding HR strategies into organizational agility frameworks, companies can better navigate economic turbulence, enhance workforce adaptability, and secure long-term competitiveness in the global market.

This study explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), agriculture, and decolonial philosophy, emphasizing the role of local knowledge as the foundation for sustainable agricultural technology in Indonesia. The research investigates how AI can be developed not as a tool of technological domination but as a dialogical partner that recognizes the epistemic value of indigenous wisdom. Using a mixed-method approach, the study combines algorithmic experiments applying lightweight Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Explainable AI (XAI) methods such as SHAP and LIME with participatory interviews involving farmers in Bima District. Empirical findings show that models integrated with localized visualization and community-based interpretability improved user trust by 84% and reduced computational energy by 28% without compromising accuracy. More importantly, the interaction between AI and farmers revealed a form of epistemic integration where algorithmic logic aligns with traditional indicators, such as soil texture, humidity, and seasonal signs known to local farmers. Philosophically, this research asserts that sustainable AI should emerge from ecological and cultural contexts rather than imposing external frameworks. In the decolonial sense, it positions local farmers not as passive users but as active epistemic agents shaping the meaning of technology. Thus, AI becomes not only a technical instrument but a site of ethical and epistemic liberation that reaffirms human responsibility toward knowledge, culture, and the earth.

The digital era has transformed communication patterns among millennials and Gen Z in Indonesia. This study analyzes the phenomenon of code-mixing and code-switching on social media among students at STIE Balikpapan as representatives of the digital generation in a multiethnic environment. Employing a qualitative method with a virtual ethnography approach, data were collected through six months of virtual participant observation and systematic digital documentation across multiple social media platforms. The findings reveal that code-mixing predominantly occurs in intra-sentential and intra-lexical forms, while code-switching takes inter-sentential forms according to communication contexts. The primary factors driving mixed language use are social identity, communication efficiency, and audience adaptation. Balikpapan's multiethnic context enriches these practices through interactions among Indonesian, regional languages, and English. These findings contribute to the field of digital sociolinguistics and serve as a reference for language learning in higher education institutions and the development of Indonesian language policies.

This study explores the implications of the 1983 Code of Canon Law (CIC) on mixed marriages within the Catholic Church, focusing on its legal, pastoral, and social dimensions in the context of religious pluralism. Mixed marriages, involving a Catholic an a non-Catholic partner, pose unique spiritual and legal challenges due to differing faith backgrounds, the research aims to analyze how the CIC, alongsid Church documents such as Muto Proprio Matrimonia Mixta, Familiaris Consortio, and Amoris Laetitia, addresses these challenges while upholding the sacramental nature of marriage. A qualitative descretive method was employed, utilizing critical textual analysis of relevant literature, including books, journals, and Church documents, the findings highlight that Canons 1124-1126 og the CIC provide a robust legal framework requiring episcopal dispensation, commitment to Catholic faith preservation, and respect for the non-Catholic partner’s beliefs. these Canons balance the protection of Catholic identity with openness to interfainth dialogue. Additionally, Church documents emphasize pastoral accompaniment, compassion, and doalogue to foster family unity and fainth education for children. The study concludes that the CIC, enriched by pastoral approaches in the referenced documents, offers a framework that not only regulates mixed marriages but also transforms them into opportunities for spiritual growth and interreligious harmony, particularly in diverse societies like Indonesia. This integrated approach ensures the mixed mariages can be a source of blessing rather than conflict, promoting stability ant mutual respect in families.

Farmer welfare is indicated by the level of purchasing power, which is calculated based on the ratio between the price index received from agricultural products and the price index paid for household consumption and production inputs. This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors influencing farmers’ welfare in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The research data is primary and secondary data with a mixed method. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to identify the factors that significantly affect farmers’ welfare. The results show that income, commodity prices, household consumption, and agricultural input costs are significant determinants of farmers’ welfare. Income and commodity prices have a positive effect, while agricultural input costs have a negative effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) values of 81.70% for the food crop subsector and 64.67% for the plantation subsector indicate that these variables explain a large portion of the variation in farmers’ welfare in the study area. Increased income increases welfare, but if consumption expenditure and input costs increase more than the increase in income, then farmer welfare will actually decrease. There is a need for policies to stabilize agricultural product prices, reduce production costs, and increase farmer productivity in Kutai Kartanegara Regency by strengthening market access, providing affordable inputs, and implementing technology and training so that agricultural products have added value and farmer welfare increases.

The application of food hygiene and sanitation principles is an important aspect in ensuring the quality of nutritional services in hospitals. Low compliance of kitchen staff in maintaining hygiene is often caused by a lack of supervision, motivation, and limited supporting facilities. This study aims to determine the effect of education on compliance with the application of food hygiene and sanitation and its contributing factors in the Nutrition Installation of Hospital X through an internship activity conducted in July–October 2025. The research method used a quasi-experimental model with a one-group pretest-posttest and a mixed methods approach. The research subjects were seven kitchen staff, with two of them being interviewed in depth via voice recording. Data collection was carried out through initial observations, compliance checklists, and recorded interviews at the pretest and posttest stages. Educational interventions were carried out through counseling, routine briefings, and mentoring in the six-step handwashing practice according to WHO guidelines. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive quantitative and thematic qualitative methods. The results showed an increase in staff compliance after being given education, seen from changes in behavior in washing hands properly, using personal protective equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Based on pretest interview results, low compliance was caused by a lack of supervision due to the lack of accreditation, infrequent monitoring, the misperception that visibly clean hands were safe enough, and limited water supply due to the shared drain with the hospital laundry. Following the educational intervention, posttest results showed improved compliance compared to baseline.

Multicultural counseling in schools serves as an essential strategy to reduce conflicts and foster cultural awareness among students. Counselors play a central role by developing their own cultural competence, facilitating students’ reflection on their cultural identities, providing education on stereotypes and biases, creating safe spaces for cross-cultural dialogue, and strengthening institutional capacity through collaboration with teachers and parents. This counseling strategy emphasizes understanding the values, norms, and power dynamics of each cultural group to ensure interventions are both effective and culturally sensitive. An inclusive learning environment supports this process by offering written policies, curricula that reflect diversity, dialogue forums, and cross-cultural activities. The evaluation process involves establishing clear objectives, quantitative and qualitative indicators, and mixed methods, including surveys, discussions, and direct observations, with participation from counselors, teachers, principals, parents, and student representatives. Local adaptation of instruments, continuous monitoring, and systematic documentation ensure data validity and the sustainability of behavioral changes. Evaluation results form the basis for concrete recommendations, such as counselor training, inclusive curriculum development, and programs to strengthen cross-cultural relationships. This approach enables schools to cultivate a culture of empathy, understanding, and harmony, thereby enhancing relationships among students from diverse backgrounds.

Islamic education learning models in campus environments often face challenges in integrating critical thinking with religious character building. Dogmatic and lecturer-centered learning makes students less involved in discovering contextual religious meaning. This study aims to explore the development of an Islamic value-based Guided Inquiry learning model in Islamic education courses. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with an adaptation of the Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel model using the 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), as well as a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed methods) through tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and reflective journals. Quantitative analysis used a mean difference test. The results showed that the developed model consisted of eight phases, namely Open, Immerse, Explore, Identify, Gather, Create, Share, and Evaluate, which were integrated with Islamic values, such as faith, honesty, responsibility, and tolerance. Expert validation showed high feasibility, namely 93.33%. The implementation in the student classroom showed the feasibility of the model syntax with an average observation score of 87.4%, with the Open and Share phases being the most consistent. Empirically, the developed model was effectively implemented in PAI learning with an increase in the average score in meeting I from 58.24 to 73.23, in meeting II from 66.17 to 84.5, and in meeting III, the average score increased from 55.34 to 81.78. The developed model had a very strong impact on shaping student behavior, as shown by the questionnaire results with a score of 93.48%. Supporting factors included the learning environment (with an influence score of 4.55), lecturers and teaching methods (influence score of 4.78), students (influence score of 4.19), and curriculum and material factors (score of 4.37). This means that these factors were identified as factors influencing the development of the learning model.

Mixed marriages are a social phenomenon that is increasingly prevalent with globalization and mobility between countries. The problems arising from mixed marriages not only concern social aspects but also impact the citizenship status and inheritance rights of the parties. This study aims to analyze the legal consequences of mixed marriages on citizenship and inheritance rights from the perspectives of civil law and Islamic law. The method used is normative-comparative research with a legislative and conceptual approach. The results reveal fundamental differences between civil law and Islamic law in regulating citizenship and inheritance rights in mixed marriages. Civil law emphasizes administrative and national aspects, while Islamic law focuses on religious and lineage aspects. These differences lead to variations in the recognition of citizenship and inheritance of property, potentially creating legal uncertainty for the parties. Therefore, harmonization between civil law and Islamic law is essential to create legal certainty and justice, particularly in the context of inter-national and inter-religious marriages in Indonesia

Initial survey results show that consumers in the Makale region have specific preferences for tempeh packaging and quality, but business actors have not incorporated these preferences into their production and marketing strategies. This gap calls for an intervention to develop a strategy based on a systematic, contextual mapping of consumer preferences. Using a mixed methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, the study was conducted in two stages: first, quantitative data collection and analysis, followed by qualitative data collection and analysis to clarify and deepen the results. The study found that consumer preferences for Jeslyn tempeh are primarily influenced by sensory qualities (taste, texture, aroma), cleanliness, affordability, hygienic packaging, distribution ease, and promotion. The Likert scale analysis showed that most indicators had an average value above 4.20 (percentage index > 84%), indicating high to very high consumer satisfaction. Taste (mean 4.52; index 90.4%) and texture (mean 4.44; index 88.8%) were the most influential factors, followed by price and cleanliness. Consumer loyalty is built through consistent quality and emotional attachment to local products. Producers should maintain product quality, improve hygiene, introduce simple innovations, and use social media for cost-effective promotion.

The rapid growth of social media has yielded vast digital traces with high potential for improving corporate forensic auditing. Their utilization, however, lags behind through technological reliability, privacy, and adherence to the law. The aim of this study is to explore effective utilization of social media digital traces in forensic auditing and develop a functional framework that lags neither behind through technological efficiency nor adherence to the law and ethics. A mixed-method design was utilized, combining quantitative machine learning analysis with qualitative document analysis and semi-structured interview insight. Quantitative data drawn from social media digital traces were processed using Random Forest algorithm with SMOTE for class balancing, while qualitative data were processed using thematic analysis. The results indicated high model performance with 91.3% accuracy and AUC-ROC of 0.94, together with three emergent themes: digital integration, ethics and privacy, and regulation and legality. The results demonstrate that digital footprints may serve as an effective early and reliable indicator for fraud detection, provided they are accompanied by clear regulatory and ethical frameworks. Its principal contribution lies in the development of an operational model that combines machine learning with legal and ethical perspectives, a new strategy which matures methodological refinement and practical application in today's forensic auditing.

The research titled “Legal Implications of Mixed Marriages between Indonesian Citizens and Foreign Nationals on the Citizenship Status of Minors” discusses the legal consequences arising from marriages between Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA), particularly regarding the determination of the citizenship status of minors. Mixed marriages often create legal complexities due to differences in citizenship systems between countries, which affect the rights and legal standing of children. The research problems focus on two main issues: how Indonesian positive law regulates the citizenship status of children born from mixed marriages, and how the state provides legal protection for such children. This study employs a normative legal research method with a statutory approach, analyzing relevant laws, doctrines, and court decisions. The results show that although Law Number 12 of 2006 on Indonesian Citizenship has improved the previous system by recognizing limited dual citizenship for children, its implementation still faces several obstacles. Complicated bureaucracy, a lack of understanding among officials, and persistent discriminatory practices remain major challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to reform the legal framework and administrative system of citizenship management to ensure that the principles of non-discrimination and the best interests of the child are effectively and fairly realized.
