Needs analysis questionnaire, teaching, data collection, documentation. The number of class IV who chose the Agree (S) statement point option was 195, involving all class IV students as many as 35 students, but only 26 students were able to attend and fill out the questionnaire out of a total of 35. The conclusion from the results of this research is that students' learning motivation has increased since the introduction of a method that encourages their enthusiasm for the learning being delivered. This can be proven from the results of the motivation questionnaire which was filled out by each class IV student himself

Education in Indonesia continues to grow, but the main challenge in learning Biology, especially in cell material, is the lack of student involvement. Many students rely more on memorization methods than understanding concepts, which impacts their low learning outcomes. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of  the Plants vs Zombies game-based learning method in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of students in grades XI-B at SMA Negeri 1 Tondano, especially in cell biology materials. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach, which is carried out in two cycles. In the first cycle, students were invited to learn through the Plants vs Zombies game which was integrated with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. Data is collected through observation and cognitive tests to measure student learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The average score of students increased from 71.2 to 87.27, with the highest score reaching 92.3 and the lowest score being 76.9. Students also show improvements in engagement, collaboration, and motivation to learn. This research indicates that the application of games as learning media can make abstract biology material more interesting and easy to understand. In addition, this study also highlights the important role of teachers in facilitating game-based learning. The implications of this study show that game-based methods can be an innovative solution in improving the quality of learning in the 21st century.

The change from the K13 Curriculum to the Independent Learning Curriculum has had positive and negative impacts for MTSN 2 Solok Selatan teachers. The positive impacts include increasing teacher motivation and enthusiasm for teaching, giving teachers freedom and autonomy in designing learning, increasing teacher creativity and innovation in teaching, improving the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. The negative impact is increasing the teacher's workload in designing and implementing learning, requiring extra time and effort to study and understand the KMB, requiring intensive training and mentoring for teachers. Joint efforts are needed to ensure that the Independent Learning Curriculum can be implemented effectively and achieve its goal of improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Low motivation to learn is often a serious challenge in one's academic development. Excessive use of social media can have both positive and negative impacts on learning motivation, depending on the usage policy. This study aims to analyze the magnitude of the relationship between the use of social media and the motivation to learn mathematics of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample consisted of 58 grade VIII students who were given video supplements related to learning materials at school through TikTok before formal learning was carried out. Based on the data analysis used using the Spearman correlation, the correlation coefficient value is + 0.744, it can be seen that the motivation to learn mathematics with the use of social media has a unidirectional relationship. This shows that if there is an increase in the value of using social media in learning, the value of math learning motivation will also increase linearly. By treating relevant learning videos through TikTok social media before learning takes place, educators are able to create a more interesting and intimate learning experience to increase student motivation in learning mathematics.

Children need guidance and supervision from parents because children's lives are the parents' responsibility. However, the fact is that in general some parents pay little attention to their children's learning because they are busy with their work and lack of supporting learning facilities. This research aims to determine the importance of parental assistance in increasing motivation to study from home during the Covid-19 pandemic for children aged 10-12 years in Sentagi hamlet. The research methods used are qualitative, observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of the research obtained are that children aged 10-12 years when studying during the Covid-19 pandemic really need parental assistance, so that the online learning process can run smoothly.
