This community service activityto aims to implement the Computer Applications course to enhance information technology literacy among the children of Hidayatullah Orphanage in Palembang. The program comprehensively introduces both hardware and software components of computers. Furthermore, the activities focus on knowledge transfer through interactive education to ensure participants acquire a solid understanding of technology and its effective utilization. The strategy employed to impart knowledge on computer applications includes socialization and hands-on practice with computer devices and relevant applications for the children at the orphanage. Through this initiative, the children, particularly students, gain valuable opportunities to build a strong foundation in digital skills, equipping them to navigate the rapid advancements of information technology in the modern era.

Sharia accounting has become a substitute concept for conventional accounting. The concept of sharia accounting not only prioritizes management and capital owners, but also prioritizes other parties, such as consumers, society and even their responsibilities to God. A description of building a good business and being able to contribute by building a zakat-oriented entity. Zakat oriented makes an entity good if it can provide maximum zakat contributions, so that zakat oriented not only maximizes its profits but also how much the entity pays its zakat. But the value of the zakat must be based on the assets or wealth owned by the entity obtained in a halal manner. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Zakat Financial Report at LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Palembang Branch was in accordance with PSAK No. 109. This study was conducted to test the financial reports prepared by LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Palembang in accordance with PSAK No. 109 concerning Zakat Accounting. According to the findings obtained from this study, it was concluded that Yatim Mandiri Palembang as one of the National Zakat Amil Institutions (LAZNAS) had fully implemented the use of PSAK No. 109. In presenting financial statements. Because in PSAK No. 109, zakat accounting aims to regulate the recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of zakat, infaq/sadaqah transactions.

This socialization activity aims to increase the understanding of tourism managers on the banks of the Musi River in Palembang regarding ecotourism service standards based on local wisdom. The material presented included the basic concept of sustainable ecotourism, tourism service standards, the application of local wisdom in service, and case studies of the successful implementation of local culture-based ecotourism. The implementation method consists of seminars, interactive training, and group discussions that involve direct simulations in the application of tourism services. The evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test which showed a significant improvement in the understanding of participants after participating in the activity. Monitoring is carried out by observing the active participation of participants during the activity. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to understand the importance of implementing ecotourism service standards by prioritizing local wisdom as the main attraction. This activity has a positive impact in improving the quality of tourism services in the area. The resulting recommendations include the need for further assistance activities to ensure sustainable implementation and capacity building for tourism managers in a sustainable manner.

The Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Program, also known as MBKM, is an activity that provides students with the opportunity to learn outside the classroom, one of which is teaching assistance. This paper aims to describe the activities conducted by students of Universitas Bina Darma Palembang in community service by implementing learning through the viewing technique in the Indonesian language subject for 11th grade students in the Merdeka curriculum. Through learning with the viewing technique, it is expected that students will be able to answer, summarize, and understand the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the short story Tukang Cukur by Budi Darma. This Community Service (PkM) activity was conducted in the form of learning, counseling, and training. The PkM activity took place at SMA Arinda Palembang with 20 students. The method used in this activity was qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques of observation, note-taking, and documentation. After conducting learning on the short story Tukang Cukur by Budi Darma with the viewing technique in the 11th grade IPA class at SMA Arinda Palembang, positive results were observed. The majority of students were able to understand the content of the story, answer questions correctly, and improve their critical thinking skills, as well as their appreciation for literary works.

This Community Service activity aims to introduce Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and apply it to Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in English courses for students of the Public Health Study Program at STIK Bina Husada Palembang. The focus of this training is on the use of ICT in this case the Canva and Google Translate applications. The methods used include lectures, discussions and practices, with the ultimate goal that students can produce technology-based projects in the form of educational posters in English. The results of the study showed a significant increase in ICT skills, self-confidence, and the ability to communicate using English. Students also showed good collaboration in groups, and were better prepared to face the challenges of the world of work that increasingly utilizes technology and cross-cultural communication, especially in the public health sector. This Community Service activity concluded that the integration of ICT and English in project-based learning can strengthen student competencies and prepare them to contribute effectively to the completion of students' English projects.

This study examines the challenges and opportunities of digital learning in Vocational High Schools (PMK) in Palembang City, which is a crucial issue in the context of vocational education. The main problems identified include limited infrastructure, lack of digital skills among teachers, and unequal access to devices for students. The purpose of this study is to explore how digital learning can be effectively integrated into the PMK curriculum. The method used is an ethnographic approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis in four vocational high schools. The results of the study indicate that despite significant challenges, digital learning offers opportunities to improve students' technological skills and innovation in teaching methods. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for support from the government and educational institutions to overcome these challenges, so that digital learning can contribute optimally in preparing students for an increasingly digital world of work.  

The training "Optimizing Social Media in Supporting Local Social and Cultural Campaigns in Palembang City" was held with the aim of improving the understanding and skills of the community, especially cultural community actors, in utilizing social media as a tool to introduce and preserve Palembang's local culture. The background of this training is driven by the rapid development of digital technology, which opens up great opportunities for the City of Palembang to promote its rich culture and traditions to a global audience. Training activities are carried out in the form of theoretical and practical sessions, which include content creation, interaction strategies with audiences, and selection of the right platform to convey local cultural messages. The results of this training showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of using social media in cultural and social campaigns, as well as practical skills in creating effective content. In conclusion, this training successfully equips participants with the ability to optimize social media in promoting local culture and strengthening Palembang's cultural identity in the digital world.  

Hikayat as a classic work is often not widely understood by vocational school (Vocational High School) students who are related to various aspects such as language, culture and the historical context contained in the saga. Therefore, the researcher wants to solve the problem by researching directly into a class which also carries out teaching assistance activities in accordance with the requirements for completing semester 7. The subject of this research uses classroom action research. The subjects in this research were class X-I Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) students at Bina Jaya Vocational School. This research aims to find out how the use of saga as the level of knowledge of class (Computer Network Engineering), and how after carrying out the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in analyzing the values contained in the saga text. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data obtained was carried out through three cycles used in the pre-test-post phase of this research. Cycle I includes planning and implementation (acting), observation (observing), and evaluating (evaluating) learning activities as well as reflection (reflecting).

The implementation of digital payments in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is one of the important steps to increase business competitiveness in the digital era. The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide digital literacy assistance to MSME actors by focusing on the implementation of digital payment systems, such as e-wallets and QRIS. This activity was carried out by a team of lecturers from Prasetiya Mandiri Polytechnic and PGRI Palembang University, which involved practical training and direct assistance to MSMEs. Through this training, it is hoped that MSME actors can optimize the use of digital payment technology to improve transaction efficiency and expand their market reach. In addition, intensive assistance is also provided to overcome technical obstacles in the implementation of the digital payment system. The results of this program show that MSME actors who participate in this mentoring experience increased understanding and skills in using digital payment technology, which has an impact on increasing the competitiveness and operational efficiency of their businesses. This program also makes a positive contribution to the development of MSMEs that can adapt to technological developments and an increasingly digital market.

The introduction and use of traditional medicine is an alternative step to carry out natural and effective treatment. Traditional medicine has great potential to improve people's health. Not many people use herbs for medicinal purposes, so the community service activity team aims to increase knowledge about Traditional Medicine (Herbal Medicine), especially for teenagers. Currently, teenagers prefer to use modern medicine, so their knowledge and experience regarding traditional medicine are still very lacking. Knowledge about herbal medicine is important for teenagers because it can help them use traditional medicine appropriately. Good knowledge of herbal medicine can also help prevent traditional medicine that can heal from becoming dangerous. The activity method is carried out using education through counseling about the introduction and use of traditional medicine (Herbal Medicine), which is carried out for students at Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Middle School, Masjid Kyai Muara Ogan Street, Kertapati Palembang. This activity was held on December 19, 2024, with 50 participants from Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Middle School students. The activity results stated that students understood the counseling about using traditional medicine (Herbal Medicine) well.

The storytelling training held during the Language Month at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang aimed to enhance students’ storytelling skills as competition participants. This program employed discussion and hands-on practice to train techniques such as intonation, facial expressions, and gestures relevant to story flow. The results showed significant improvements in participants’ confidence and communication skills. However, challenges such as tight school schedules and limited mentors were identified. Evaluation suggests better planning, extended training duration, and involving more mentors to improve future program effectiveness.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga, kualitas produk, dan sosial media marketing skincare Somethinc terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan mengingat semakin tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap produk perawatan kulit dan banyaknya merek yang menawarkan produk serupa dengan berbagai variasi harga dan kualitas. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang melibatkan 100 responden pengguna produk skincare Somethinc di wilayah Palembang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh variabel harga, kualitas produk, dan sosial media marketing terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga, kualitas produk, dan sosial media marketing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Secara khusus, kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan harga. Konsumen cenderung lebih memperhatikan efektivitas dan keamanan produk dalam memilih skincare. Meskipun demikian, harga tetap menjadi faktor penting yang mempengaruhi daya beli dan persepsi nilai dari produk tersebut. Kesimpulannya, untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian, produsen skincare seperti Somethinc perlu fokus pada peningkatan kualitas produk sambil mempertahankan harga yang kompetitif. Strategi pemasaran yang menekankan pada keunggulan kualitas produk serta penawaran harga yang sesuai dengan nilai yang diberikan akan membantu menarik lebih banyak konsumen.

Muscle pain is a common muscle pain experienced by people. Actually, there are household spices that can be used to reduce muscle pain, including ginger, turmeric, galangal, and pepper, etc., therefore the community service activity team aims to provide education about the benefits of Household Spices to Relieve Muscle Pain. The activity method is by means of education and introduction of Household Spices to Relieve Muscle Pain, the activity was carried out on Elementary and Middle School Teachers of the Ummul Quro Al-Hamidiyah Foundation Jl. Kyai Muara Ogan Kertapati Palembang Mosque, totaling 15 people on December 19, 2024. The results of the activity stated that the teachers understood the Utilization of Household Spices to Relieve Muscle Pain.

This activity aims to increase the creativity of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang through learning to write short stories (hikayat). The method uses a collaborative traditional story approach design. This action involves Indonesian language teachers as partners in the planning, implementation and evaluation process. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and analysis of the results of short story writing activities through students' writing. The results of the activity showed that learning to write short stories (hikayat) can increase students' creativity, by significantly increasing the aspects of imagination, originality, and authenticity of this learning also increases students' motivation and interest in writing. Therefore, learning to write short stories (hikayat) can be an effective strategy to increase students' creativity at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang

Kemajuan teknologi saat ini berjalan dengan sangat pesat, membuat internet semakin mudah diakses oleh semua orang. Di media sosial, iklan sering kali menampilkan orang-orang terkenal, seperti selebriti. Iklan yang biasa disebut dengan brand ambassador ini sangat efektif untuk menarik minat konsumen dan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian terhadap produk yang dipromosikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengidentifikasi pengaruh iklan dan brand ambassador terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen. Analisis yang dilakukan melibatkan variabel bebas (X) yang meliputi iklan dan brand ambassador, serta variabel terikat (Y) yaitu keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada konsumen Nabati yang berdomisili di Kota Palembang. Dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling, khususnya purposive sampling, penelitian ini menerapkan pengujian hipotesis melalui analisis regresi berganda. Sebanyak 104 konsumen Nabati di Kota Palembang turut berpartisipasi sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklan dan brand ambassador berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen Nabati di Kota Palembang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga dan fashion lifestyle terhadap keputusan pembelian pakaian branded preloved melalui platform thriftshop online Instagram @BossBadjoe di Palembang. Fenomena thriftshop online semakin populer di kalangan masyarakat, terutama di kalangan generasi muda yang memiliki ketertarikan terhadap produk fashion berkualitas dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau. Harga yang kompetitif dan gaya hidup yang semakin mengarah pada tren fashion memengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pakaian branded preloved. Begitu pula dengan fashion lifestyle, yang secara signifikan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Kombinasi antara harga yang terjangkau dan gaya hidup fashion yang dinamis mendorong peningkatan minat konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola thriftshop online dalam merumuskan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif, khususnya dalam penentuan harga dan penyajian konten yang menarik sesuai dengan tren fashion terkini.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra merek dan kualitas produk terhadap minat beli Daviena Skincare di Kota Palembang. Citra merek merupakan persepsi atau keyakinan yang melekat di benak konsumen mengenai produk atau jasa tertentu, yang dibentuk melalui dimensi citra korporat, citra produk, dan citra pemakai. Sementara itu, kualitas produk diukur melalui indikator reliabilitas, daya tahan, dan kesesuaian dengan spesifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 115 responden dengan analisis data melalui IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra merek dan kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli. Strategi promosi yang dilakukan melalui media sosial, seperti TikTok, serta upaya owner dalam membangun citra merek, termasuk membuka Daviena Aesthetic Clinic, menjadi faktor pendukung dalam meningkatkan minat beli konsumen. Penelitian ini juga mengacu pada berbagai studi terdahulu yang mendukung pentingnya citra merek dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan strategi pemasaran Daviena Skincare untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan minat beli konsumen di masa mendatang. 

Effective learning requires creative and interactive approaches to enhance students' understanding of the material. This study focuses on evaluating the use of Wordwall as a learning tool for short stories in grade 11 at SMA Islam Az-Zahrah Palembang. The main focus of learning includes the definition, characteristics, and types of short stories. Through the "Open Box" and "Random Card" features in Wordwall, students are actively engaged in answering questions presented interactively. 1  The research method involved the delivery of material, interactive quizzes, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that the use of Wordwall significantly increased students' interest, engagement, and understanding of short story material. Thus, Wordwall has proven to be an effective and innovative learning medium in improving the quality of learning in the digital age.

Pregnancy affects various aspects of women's physical and mental health. One factor that often occurs in pregnant women is stress, which can affect the health of the mother and fetus. One of the efforts made to overcome stress in pregnant women is relaxation therapy. Relaxation therapy aims to calm the nervous system and help pregnant women overcome anxiety and tension that often occurs during pregnancy. The activity method consists of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the activity were obtained as many as 90% of participants reported an increase in knowledge about stress management during pregnancy, the results of the DASS-21 questionnaire showed a decrease in the average stress score of 30% and all participants were able to perform breathing relaxation therapy techniques correctly based on facilitator observations. This community service activity succeeded in improving the ability of pregnant women to manage stress through breathing relaxation therapy. The output produced can be used for the sustainability of the program at the Health Center.
