This study investigates the impact of social support and learning motivation on students' desire to pursue higher education at SMA Negeri 4 in South Tangerang City. It employs a quantitative design through survey methods, collecting data via a Google Form questionnaire from 84 participants, with instruments validated and tested for reliability using SPSS version 27. Analysis involved simple and multiple linear regression, supplemented by t-tests for individual effects and F-tests for combined influences. Social support (X1) significantly affects interest in further education (Y), showing a regression coefficient of 1.521 (p = 0.000) and R² of 0.649. Learning motivation (X2) likewise exerts a strong positive influence on interest in higher education (Y), with a coefficient of 1.307 (p = 0.000) and R² of 0.691. Together, these factors significantly predict students' interest (F = 106.418, p = 0.000), explaining 72.4% of the variance (multiple R² = 0.724), while 27.6% stems from unexamined variables. These results highlight the critical role of social support and robust learning motivation in boosting students' aspirations for advanced studies. Schools, families, and policymakers can leverage these insights to craft targeted initiatives for enhancing postsecondary enrollment. This study examines the legality of on-street parking levy practices in Kupang City from a constitutional law perspective, with a primary focus on the application of the legality principle. The background of this research stems from a significant discrepancy between the legal norms established in statutory regulations and the empirical administrative practices occurring in the field. Identified issues include the collection of levies without official tickets, the lack of clarity regarding the identity and legal status of collection officers, and the inconsistent and non-transparent application of parking tariffs. This research employs a normative-empirical legal method by applying statutory, conceptual, and empirical approaches through limited field observations. The findings indicate that although the Kupang City Government formally possesses the attribution of authority to collect parking levies, the implementation frequently deviates from the established legal procedures. Such deviant practices potentially constitute ultra vires actions and violate the principle of due process of law in government administration. This study concludes that the substantive legality of parking levies in Kupang City has not been fully realized, thereby undermining legal certainty and public trust in the legitimacy of local governance. The implications of this research emphasize the imperative for comprehensive reform of the supervision system and stricter enforcement of administrative procedures to ensure the rule of law at the local level.

The rapid acceleration of the digital economy has positioned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at a strategic crossroads. This study investigates the impact of digital marketing and social media marketing on the performance of SMEs in Binjai, North Sumatra, while exploring the mediating role of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM). Utilizing a quantitative approach with a sample of 182 SME owners, data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and path analysis via SPSS 26. The findings demonstrate that digital marketing and social media marketing initiatives significantly and positively influence business performance, accounting for 54.2% of the variance. Notably, social media marketing emerged as the most dominant predictor, fostering high levels of customer engagement. Furthermore, path analysis reveals that e-WOM serves as a critical mediator; effective social media strategies stimulate authentic digital testimonials, which subsequently enhance consumer trust and sales volume. This research concludes that for SMEs in emerging local markets like Binjai, the orchestration of digital reputation through e-WOM is fundamental to achieving sustainable competitive advantage in an increasingly volatile digital landscape.

This study aims to analyze the practice of interfaith communication in the process of institutionalizing multicultural values in Pekalongan City. The study uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of religious leaders involved in interfaith communication activities. The results show that the practice of interfaith communication occurs through dialogue between religious leaders and open communication interactions in various community forums. From the perspective of George Herbert Mead's symbolic interaction, this communication process demonstrates an exchange of meaning (mind) that builds a shared understanding of tolerance and respect for differences. In addition, interfaith communication also shapes the self-awareness of religious leaders as social agents maintaining harmony (self) while strengthening inclusive social relations in a multicultural society (society). The research findings indicate that interfaith communication functions in two ways: first, as a means of dialogue between religious leaders, and second, as a social mechanism in the institutionalization of multicultural values that supports the realization of religious harmony in Pekalongan City.

This study aims to analyze gender-based political violence in the 2020 Regional Head Elections in South Tangerang City and its impact on women’s representation in politics. The case analyzed involves social media attacks against Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo during her campaign for Deputy Mayor, in which an old photo of her while pregnant was used as material for sexually charged attacks. This study employs a qualitative method using a case study approach through literature review. The analysis utilizes Kate Manne’s theory of misogyny, which views misogyny as a social mechanism within the patriarchal system to control and discipline women entering the public sphere. The results of the study indicate that gender-based political violence manifests in the form of the moral delegitimization of women, digital intimidation or harassment, policing of women in public spaces, and the objectification of women’s bodies. These phenomena demonstrate that gender bias remains a barrier for women in securing equal space in local political contests.

Women's leadership plays an important role in the success of organizations, including in the government sector at the sub-district level. Leaders not only act as directors but also as mentors who are able to understand the needs and character of their subordinates. The female head of TG Sub-district in Surabaya City demonstrates the application of reciprocal relationships between leaders and subordinates through a system of rewards and punishments according to performance achievements, actively monitors subordinate performance, identifies work standard errors, and takes corrective actions. The study aims to analyze the application of transactional leadership style by the female head of TG Sub-district in Surabaya City using Bernard M. Bass's (1990) theory. The type of research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Samples were determined using purposive sampling, and data sources included primary and secondary data. The research results indicate that the transactional leadership style of the female village head in TG Village is not yet fully optimal. The application of Contingent Reward can increase motivation and employee performance control, but its implementation in the community is still limited. Management by Exception (Active) carried out on employees has not been consistent, and its application in the community is also not sufficiently felt. Management by Exception (Passive) and Laissez-Faire are shown through corrective actions after problems arise and the freedom to take initiative and make decisions according to standards and policies. The implementation of transactional leadership by female village heads needs to be improved, especially in strengthening the mechanisms of reward and punishment as well as the consistency of supervision of employees and the community so that the leadership implementation runs more optimally.

The development of the cosmetics industry has had both positive and negative impacts on consumers, particularly in Medan City. The high demand for cosmetics has driven irresponsible business actors to produce and distribute cosmetics without distribution permits from the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM). This study aims to analyze the role of BPOM in supervising illegal cosmetics, examine criminal sanction enforcement, and identify obstacles faced by PPNS investigators at BBPOM Medan. A qualitative empirical juridical approach with field research method was used, employing in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The primary informant is the Head of BBPOM Medan. Results show BPOM supervises through pre-market and post-market control, enforcement, and public education. Criminal sanctions under Article 435 of Law No. 17 of 2023 impose up to 12 years imprisonment or Rp5 billion fine. Key obstacles include limited investigator legal expertise, budget constraints, low public participation, fleeing suspects, and files returned by prosecutors. Strengthening investigator capacity, improving inter-agency coordination, and increasing public awareness are urgently needed.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of rehabilitation at the investigation stage for drug abuse cases and the integrated assessment mechanism in influencing decisions to continue or terminate legal proceedings against drug users in Samarinda City. Drug abuse remains a serious issue in Indonesia, with more than 60% of inmates in correctional institutions being convicted of narcotics-related crimes. This condition indicates that conventional punitive approaches have not been effective in reducing drug abuse; therefore, the application of rehabilitative legal policies, as stipulated in Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics and Supreme Court Circular Letter (SEMA) Number 04 of 2010, is necessary. This research employs a socio-legal research method with a qualitative approach, conducted through in-depth interviews with investigators at the Samarinda City Police (Polresta Samarinda) and officers at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Samarinda, as well as a literature review of relevant laws and legal materials. The findings reveal that the implementation of rehabilitation at the investigation stage in Samarinda City has not been fully effective, due to limited resources, lack of inter-agency coordination, and the persistence of a repressive paradigm in handling narcotics cases.

This study aims to analyze the organizational performance of the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Tanjungpinang in managing the tourism sector. Tanjungpinang has significant cultural and historical tourism potential; however, tourist visit trends remain fluctuating and unstable. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method and library research as the data collection technique. Data were obtained from official government documents, statistical data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, and relevant previous studies. The analysis is based on the public sector organizational performance theory proposed by Agus Dwiyanto, focusing on two main indicators: productivity and accountability.   The findings indicate that administratively the agency has consistently implemented programs and organized cultural events in accordance with planning documents. However, the increase in the number of activities has not consistently contributed to stable growth in tourist visits. In terms of accountability, reporting mechanisms have been implemented, yet substantive transparency and public access to information still require improvement. Therefore, the organizational performance can be categorized as administratively adequate but requires enhancement in program effectiveness and public transparency.

This study aims to test the application of product quality control on furniture at the Hilya Furniture Store in Serang City. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation during the Practical Work Lecture (KKP) activities. The results of the study show that the quality control process at the Hilya Furniture Store is still carried out simply, starting from checking raw materials, production processes, to checking the final product before being marketed. The main problems include the limitations of the quality recording system and the lack of systematic quality control standards. In addition, the lack of the use of technology in the quality monitoring process is an obstacle in maintaining product consistency. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a more structured quality control system, including the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), regular quality recording, and training for the workforce to improve product quality and customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis.

Terrorism is a serious threat to the security and unity of the Indonesian nation. Events such as the suicide bombing at the Medan Police Headquarters in 2019 show that acts of terror are increasingly complex and require swift and appropriate handling. For this reason, the government passed Law Number 5 of 2018 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism as a legal basis that strengthens the authority of the apparatus, including the Gegana Detachment of the Indonesian National Police Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob), in carrying out counter-terrorism operations. This study aims to determine and analyze how the implementation of Law No. 5 of 2018 is carried out by the Gegana Detachment in the North Sumatra Regional Police area, identify obstacles faced in operations, and formulate strategies to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the law. The results of the study show that the implementation of this law has been implemented through preventive, preemptive, and repressive approaches, such as sterilization of places of worship, social activities "Love Sunday", security patrols, and anti-terror training simulations. However, implementation in the field still faces various obstacles, including limited modern equipment, lack of cross-agency coordination, and low public participation. Therefore, personnel capacity building, infrastructure modernization, and strengthening inter-agency synergy are needed to achieve more effective counterterrorism efforts in North Sumatra.
