This research investigates the relationship between fiscal decentralization, economic growth, and income inequality (measured by the Gini ratio) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in regencies and cities within Bali Province during the 2013–2023 period. Human development is a crucial indicator of regional welfare, and understanding the factors that shape HDI is essential for designing effective regional development policies. A quantitative approach was employed through panel data regression, utilizing secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The findings indicate that fiscal decentralization has a positive and significant effect on HDI, suggesting that greater regional fiscal authority can improve public service delivery and social welfare. Conversely, economic growth demonstrates a significant negative relationship with HDI, which implies that growth alone does not automatically translate into improved human development, particularly when it is unevenly distributed. In addition, income inequality shows a negative and significant effect on HDI, confirming that disparities in income hinder broader improvements in welfare. Collectively, these variables significantly explain variations in HDI across regencies and cities in Bali. The policy implications emphasize the need to strengthen regional fiscal capacity, reduce income inequality, and encourage inclusive economic growth to ensure that economic progress contributes effectively to enhancing human development.

A cooperative is an economic institution founded on the principles of solidarity and mutual cooperation with the primary objective of improving the welfare of its members. However, low cooperative literacy, particularly in rural areas, remains a major obstacle in optimizing the role of cooperatives as community-based economic institutions. In response to this challenge, a Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) was conducted in Pulau Harapan Village to provide fundamental knowledge about cooperatives and foster residents’ interest in establishing a community-driven economic organization. The program was implemented in late July 2025 using a participatory approach through three stages: material preparation, interactive socialization with membership and savings-loan simulations, and activity evaluation. A total of 62 participants—including village officials, women farmer groups, MSME actors, and local traders—were actively involved in the program. The results of the activities indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of cooperative benefits. This was reflected in their enthusiastic engagement during discussions as well as the emergence of community initiatives to establish a village cooperative. As a follow-up, plans for an official founding meeting and continuous mentoring have been scheduled. Through these efforts, the cooperative is expected to grow into a sustainable pillar of the local economy

This study examines the phenomenon of Muslim consumer consumptive behavior in the digital era, focusing on online shopping activities through e-commerce platforms. The main goal is to examine the conformity of consumption behavior with the principles of consumption ethics in Islam. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with selected Muslim consumers as well as observations of purchasing patterns over three months. The results show that the ease of access to technology, the intensity of promotion, and the influence of social media are the dominant factors that encourage impulse buying behavior. This phenomenon creates a gap between actual consumption practices and Islamic ethical values, especially related to the principles of moderation (wasathiyah), avoidance of waste (israf), and social responsibility in shopping. While some respondents showed awareness of these values, the pressures of the digital environment and consumptive lifestyles often obscure ethical considerations in purchasing decision-making. The implications of these findings emphasize the urgency of strengthening Islamic consumption literacy through digital education, awareness campaigns, and the integration of religious values in ethical marketing strategies. This research is expected to be the basis for the development of sustainable consumption policies based on spiritual values, as well as encourage Muslim consumers to be more critical and wise in facing the evolving dynamics of digital commerce.

Young generations in the digital era face serious challenges in maintaining their Islamic identity due to the rapid flow of globalization, the penetration of popular culture, and the influence of social media, which often contradict Islamic values. This condition has led some adolescents and youth to experience moral degradation, a decline in interest toward religious studies, and a tendency to be more attracted to instant entertainment content. Conventional religious studies that are monotonous are often less appealing to Millennials and Gen Z, thus requiring innovative models of religious education that are relevant, engaging, and suitable for the characteristics of the digital generation. This Community Service Program (KKN) carried the theme “Strengthening Islamic Character of Young Generations through Interactive Multimedia-Based Studies at the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Central Lampung Regency.” The main objective was to improve the understanding, internalization, and practice of Islamic values through creative, participatory, and enjoyable approaches. The program was implemented over one month with eight face-to-face sessions. The methods included interactive lectures, motivational video screenings, Islamic animation, group discussions, digital quizzes, and the establishment of an online discussion group via WhatsApp to maintain continuity of learning. Evaluation was carried out through field observation, pre-test and post-test, as well as in-depth interviews with participants and partners. The results showed an increase in religious understanding from an average of 58% to 82%, with active participation reaching 87%. Moreover, a youth community named Forum Pemuda Islami Lampung Tengah (FOPILTENG) was established, which is committed to continuing monthly studies independently. Technical obstacles such as limited multimedia facilities were successfully overcome by facilitators’ creativity, including utilizing simple devices and free digital platforms. Overall, the interactive multimedia-based approach proved to be effective in enhancing learning motivation, strengthening Islamic character, and fostering togetherness among youth. This model has the potential to be replicated in other regions as a strategic effort to nurture a religious, well-characterized, and competitive young generation in facing global challenges.

This research is a library study aimed at analyzing the various reasons for curriculum changes in Indonesia. Curriculum evaluation plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and relevance of education by adapting to the dynamic changes in society. It helps identify the strengths and weaknesses of the curriculum and provides recommendations for improvement. However, several problems arise during implementation, particularly when teachers feel the time allocated to adapt to the new curriculum is insufficient, coupled with gaps in school facilities that make the implementation appear forced. The evaluation focuses on several key aspects: content, learning strategies, media, student learning outcomes, and teacher readiness, as teachers are the main drivers of knowledge transfer in the classroom. The qualitative descriptive approach, in the form of library research, collects data through systematic reviews, analysis stages, and information extraction from various sources. While these changes aim to improve the learning process and achieve optimal educational quality, they have had both positive and negative impacts. The influence of political agendas and the priorities of the ruling government have significantly shaped these curriculum changes. Despite these challenges, the rationale behind the changes lies in the effort to improve the learning experience and keep educational content up to date, reflecting the needs of the times. In conclusion, curriculum changes are essential to maintaining educational relevance, but proper preparation, sufficient time for adaptation, and adequate facilities are critical to the successful implementation of these changes. The research highlights the ongoing struggle to balance educational reforms with practical considerations for educators and students alike.
