This study discusses the concept of dress ethics in Islam, focusing on the dress code for both men and women as well as the ethics that should be applied when dressing. In Islam, dressing is not merely a matter of appearance, but also related to religious teachings that emphasize the importance of covering the aurat, maintaining modesty, and preserving honor. For men, the dress code is strictly regulated by Sharia, including the aurat limitation between the navel and the knee, the prohibition of wearing gold and silk, and the prohibition of imitating women's or non-Muslims' clothing. Meanwhile, for women, the dress code is more complex with specific requirements such as covering the aurat, wearing non-transparent clothing, not accentuating body contours, and avoiding imitation of men's or non-Muslim clothing. This study also highlights the concept of tabarruj, which refers to the act of displaying jewelry and beauty to men who are not mahram, considered a violation of Islamic dress ethics. Additionally, this research explains the meaning of jilbab in the Qur'an, which is understood as an outer garment that covers the entire body, serving as protection and a means of distinguishing believing women. Overall, dress ethics in Islam encompasses not only physical aspects but also spiritual ones, reflecting devotion to Allah through sincere intentions in accordance with religious teachings. This study provides a deeper understanding of the significance of dress ethics as part of a Muslim's identity in faith.

An-Nisa' [4:1], and QS. At-Taubah [9:71], along with contemporary scholarly literature, this study seeks to offer a balanced and just perspective on understanding this issue, rooted in the principles of justice, compassion, and humanity in Islam.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the meaning of Ilham Karim's series of paintings Butterflies In My Stomach through Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. This research analyses the semiotic process in Karim's 12-painting series, which depicts the emotional journey of his parents' relationship in three phases: encounter, conflict and separation. This research uses qualitative methods through structured interview and literature review. This paper is based on the author's concern over the increasingly rampant events of human dignity decline. More of people are less aware of the nobility of their dignity as Imago Dei. The purpose of this writing is to make each individual aware himself as an individual who is able to respect and fight for their own dignity and the others, while also stopping damaging their own dignity and the dignity of others. The method used is a literature review. The author collects, reads, and understands various relevant sources and compiles them into a scientific paper. The results of this research illustrate that humans have a very noble dignity based on their identity as Imago Dei. Humans are bestowed by God with various privileges, such as mind, consciousness, and free will. Therefore, God entrusts humans as His co-workers in the work of creation, and God even gives them the mandate to maintain and guard other creations. Based on their existence, humans live in a trilogy of relationships, namely relationships with God, others, and the universe. Because humans, by their nature, humans are social beings and are the pinnacle of all of God's creations, everyone must respect their own dignity and that of other humans. Humans should live in an atmosphere of universal brotherhood, tolerance, dialogue and peace with each other and the universe.
