Coffee is an important commodity in Indonesia with high economic value. In Ulu Belu District, coffee distribution through long channels causes high distribution costs, so supply chain management (SCM) is needed to improve efficiency. This study aims to measure the cost efficiency and effectiveness of coffee distribution using qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that coffee marketing efficiency in Channel I amounted to 11.98%, and Channel II amounted to 11.92%, both classified as efficient. Delivery accuracy was also high, with Channel I reaching 98.89%, while Channel II was 85.83%. Channel II is more cost-effective despite Channel I being more effective in delivery. Cost-efficiency is important because coffee is a perishable product, and weather-related delays are rare. Channel I, which involves many members, increases distribution costs, so Channel II is recommended for optimal efficiency. It is suggested that improvements to transportation infrastructure, road access, and storage facilities at trader locations can increase distribution efficiency, maintain coffee quality, and reduce losses.

Malaria remains a global health issue, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions. In Indonesia, Papua Province specifically Nabire Regency reports a high incidence of malaria, although a decline has been observed since 2010. Infants and pregnant women are the most vulnerable groups. Nutritional status, influenced by dietary patterns, environment, and access to healthcare, plays a crucial role in susceptibility to malaria. Malnourished children are more prone to severe malaria infections due to their underdeveloped immune systems. This research focuses on Kimi Health Center in Nabire Regency and aims to explore the relationship between the nutritional status of children under five and malaria incidence in 2024. The goal of this study is to determine the relationship between the nutritional status of children under five and malaria incidence at Kimi Health Center, Teluk Umar District, Nabire Regency, in 2024. The research design employs an analytical descriptive approach with a cross-sectional method to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and malaria incidence. Data was collected at one point in time and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Kendall tau-b test through SPSS software. The results show that nutritional status significantly influences susceptibility to malaria. Children with poor nutrition are at a higher risk of experiencing severe malaria due to immune system dysfunction. Malnutrition, such as Protein-Energy Malnutrition (PEM), worsens parasitemia and anemia. Nutrient deficiencies, including iron, vitamin A, and zinc, also weaken the immune system. Therefore, improving nutritional status is a crucial effort in malaria control within endemic areas.

Rice holds a significant place as a staple food in Indonesia, with its life cycle spanning between 3 to 6 months, depending on the specific variety. An essential part of preserving the quality of rice grains is the drying process. This research aims to investigate how drying affects the quality of rice during this crucial stage. The findings of this study are not only intended to build upon previous research but also to serve as valuable guidance for farmers in making informed decisions about the drying process, ultimately ensuring optimal quality in their harvested grains. This study employed an experimental approach using a completely randomized design, wherein treatments were assigned randomly across all experimental units. The results indicated that the duration of drying significantly impacts the quality of rice grains. It was found that optimal drying occurs over a period of 3 to 4 days under sunlight on a tarpaulin base, which can be effectively used as a benchmark for assessing the quality characteristics of milled upland rice.
