Instilling Islamic art values from an early age is a strategic step in shaping children's character based on local spiritual and cultural values. One potential approach to achieving this goal is through the introduction and learning of traditional Islamic musical instruments, such as the gendang habsyi. The gendang habsyi, as a musical instrument that is identical to the poems of praise to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, has high educational and spiritual value, and is able to attract children's interest through its rhythmic and interactive elements. This article aims to examine the role of the gendang habsyi in fostering elementary school children's interest in Islamic art, both from musical, educational, and social aspects. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved observation and interviews with art teachers, students, and parents at an Islamic elementary school. The findings show that the introduction of the gendang habsyi is not only able to arouse children's interest in Islamic musical art, but also strengthen their love for Islamic culture, foster a spirit of togetherness, and increase children's self-confidence in expressing themselves positively. In addition, the fun and contextual learning method through the habsyi drum game has proven effective in building an inclusive and meaningful learning atmosphere. Therefore, the integration of habsyi drums in the art curriculum at the elementary school level is worth considering as one of the strategic alternatives in Islamic art education based on local culture.

This community service activity was motivated by the need to create Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning that is more engaging, interactive, and suited to the characteristics of elementary school students in the digital era. The service team identified a significant potential to integrate print-based learning media with interactive websites as an innovative solution to address monotonous and less visual learning processes. This activity was carried out at SD Tahfidz Al-Jamiel, involving second-grade students as the primary subjects, while teachers acted as facilitators and observers of the learning process. The service method adopted the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach by utilizing local assets such as students' enthusiasm as digital natives, adequate school facilities, and the school's openness to educational innovation. The activity was implemented through several stages: initial observation, program planning, implementation of learning using interactive media, and a simple evaluation of the activity’s impact. The results of this activity indicated that integrating printed books and interactive websites could enhance students' interest and participation in PJOK learning. Students appeared more active, enthusiastic, and found it easier to understand locomotor movement material being taught. Teachers also responded positively to the media used. This activity demonstrates that digital-based learning transformation can be conducted in a simple and practical manner within the elementary school context and holds great potential for replication in other schools.

This community service activity aims to optimize the understanding and skills of elementary school (SD) teachers in Tarik District in implementing innovative learning based on deep learning. The concept of deep learning in the context of education does not solely refer to the use of technology, but also includes a deep, reflective, and meaningful learning approach. Through this approach, teachers are expected to be able to create a learning environment that encourages students to think critically, creatively, and be able to collaborate effectively. This activity was attended by 34 elementary school teachers from eight schools in the Tarik District area. In addition to providing training related to deep learning concepts and strategies, such as project-based learning and problem-based learning, this activity also introduced the use of OLabs (Online Labs), which is a virtual laboratory platform that can be accessed for free and is specifically designed to support the implementation of online experimental learning. The use of OLabs provides an efficient and flexible alternative, especially for educational units that have limited laboratory facilities. Based on the results of the evaluation, there was a significant increase in teachers' understanding of innovative learning principles, as well as a commitment to implement the approach in an adaptive manner and in accordance with the context of each school. This activity is expected to be the starting point in efforts to strengthen the pedagogic capacity of teachers, in order to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and answer the challenges of 21st century education.

This study examines efforts to improve fourth-grade students' disciplinary character through the implementation of principal's democratic leadership style and teacher personality competence at SDK Riangwulu, East Flores. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted over two weeks involving the principal, fourth-grade homeroom teacher, and fourth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The results show that students' disciplinary character is in a good category across four indicators: compliance with school rules, compliance with learning activities, compliance in completing assignments, and neatness in wearing uniforms. The principal's democratic leadership style is implemented through consensus-based policies, high tolerance, creating a family atmosphere, and good communication. Teacher personality competence is reflected in the ability to be a role model, build positive relationships with students, and create authority through personality consistency. Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students at the elementary school level. However, learning methods used in IRE classrooms often remain conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and limited understanding of religious material. In response to the educational demands of the 21st century, a transformation in learning strategies is necessary. This study explores the implementation of active learning methods Card Sort, The Power of Two, and Snowballing as innovative approaches to revitalize IRE instruction. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Card Sort enhances students’ ability to visually organize and connect religious concepts, The Power of Two facilitates deeper comprehension through peer discussion, and Snowballing promotes collaborative knowledge construction in stages. These methods contribute to a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. Moreover, the integration of these strategies helps improve students' critical thinking, communication, and social-emotional skills while strengthening their internalization of Islamic values. Despite challenges such as instructional planning and classroom management, active learning techniques offer promising potential to transform IRE learning into a dynamic and participatory experience. The study provides practical recommendations for educators and school administrators to develop more effective and engaging IRE strategies.

This community service aims to improve learning outcomes and the process of learning mathematics, especially the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and the Least Common Multiple (LCM) in Elementary Schools to be more active and enjoyable. Learning LCM and LCM in Elementary School children can be said to have not had much impact because some students do not understand the process of solving LCM and LCM through factor trees and factoring. Community service activities were carried out in one day at SD GMIT Lamalu, Pantar District, Alor Regency. We were present to deliver material about LCM and LCM. During the community service, several students were interested in completing the material or questions given using factor trees. In the learning process about LCM and LCM, it can run well and can improve the quality of learning for students at SD GMIT Lamalu.

This conceptual study examines the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model, supported by digital media tools such as Simplebooklet and Canva, in Social Studies learning for sixth-grade students at SDN 1 Bangoan. The study arises from the need for contextual, engaging, and student-centred learning as a response to the typically theoretical and less interactive nature of Social Studies instruction. Through the integration of digital media, students can engage in meaningful projects that foster critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and digital literacy. The learning process includes stages such as problem formulation, project planning, product development, and reflection. This study presents a conceptual overview showing that implementing the PjBL model with the support of Simplebooklet and Canva can enhance student engagement and strengthen understanding of the subject matter.
