This research is mainly intended to reveal the old southern pride reflected in the characteristics of Amanda, a southern lady. In conducting this research, the writer uses qualitative research, in which the data are collected in the form of words and the writer is the key instrument. The data were taken from the work itself and other relevant books supporting the data. In analyzing the data, the writer uses a mimetic approach, which considers that literary work is a reflection and imitation of aspects of the universe. The result of this research shows that in the southern part of America before the Civil War, there was a custom called "southern gentility." This is one of the aristocratic values that consists of the manner of speech, the way of wearing the clothes, and the manner of treating the caller: the way to welcome and praise the gentleman caller, his wealth, and his beauty. This southern gentility represents old southern pride or honor. These values are reflected in Amanda’s attitude as an old southerner. However, a change in period is followed by a change in values; the aristocratic values mentioned above are no longer all relevant to the new South's way of life because they faded away after the Civil War in 1861-1865. Amanda, as an old southerner, has always held these values; however, realizing that they are no longer applicable in the present, she attempts to adapt the new southern values. Yet, she is too late to adjust because her son, who possesses new southern values, refuses to accept her advice, so he runs away.

The purpose of this research is to prove whether the snowball throwing technique is effective or not in developing students’ speaking abilities at SMA Negeri 3 Ratahan. It is a pre-experimental design. The instrument used in collecting data is an oral test. The results show that the lowest pretest score was 4 and the highest posttest score was 10. Pretest scores totaled 137, while posttest scores totaled 181. The mean of the pretest scores was 5.95, while the mean of the posttest was 7.86. The standard deviation of the pretest was 0.46, while the posttest was 0.95. The pretest results show that the students are still struggling to learn the snowball throwing technique. The posttest results show that the students' proficiency in learning to speak through snowball throwing has increased.

The purpose of the study is to find out the character of Ralph in William Golding’s Lord of the Flies. This is qualitative research since the data collected is in the form of words rather than numbers. Data are taken from a primary source, which is the novel itself, and secondary sources, which are other books and relevant references, to support the analysis. In analyzing the data, the writer applies an objective approach.The results show that Ralph, as the major character in the Lord of the Flies novel, shows how a good leader should be. He displayed specific characteristics that define a good leader. By possessing the ability to show initiative, responsibility, courage, and determination on the island, he becomes the remarkable leader he is. The character of Ralph also showed his morality. He does not forget that he is a human being. He kept fighting so he could survive with his friends. He knows that he has to be responsible for his friend and never turn his back on him. His character in this novel reminds us that we should have a good sense of responsibility for ourselves, especially for others.

The purpose of this research is to improve students’ reading comprehension through snowball throwing techniques at SMP Negeri 2 Tompaso. The students in the sample were all in first grade, and there were 22 of them. This is a quantitative study that used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-testing and post-testing. The instrument used in collecting data is a multiple-choice test. The result shows that the mean score of the students’ pretest was 6.9 and the mean score of the posttest was 7.9. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the softball throwing technique improved students’ reading comprehension.

Permasalahan dalam penlitian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat pemahaman siswa sehingga perlunya peningkatan pemahaman hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini: Pertama untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran syawir dikelas VII MTs Pondok Pesantren Modern Babussalam. Kedua untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Pondok Pesantren Modern Babussalam sebelum menerapkan metode syawir. Ketiga untuk mengetahui metode syawir dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VII MTs Pondok Pesantren Modern Babussalam. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara  tes dan non tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa metode syawir dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tergolong baik dengan hasil penelitian rekapitulasi skor rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 56% dan siklus II 100%  sedangkan nilai PKK siswa setelah menerapkan metode syawir sebesar 78% meningkat menjadi 88.4%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode syawir dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran FIQIH tergolong baik. Sebagai akhir penelitian, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa metode syawir sangat baik digunakan dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa karena metode syawir melibatkan seluruh siswa sehingga siswa menjadi aktif.    

Kawasan Hutan Mangrove sebagai habitat merupakan sumber alam yang kaya sebagai ekosistem tempat bermukimnya berbagai flora dan fauna. Kondisi Substrat atau tanah daerah mangrove yang terdiri atas kondisi tanah subtrat lumpur, berpasir serta liat ini sangat dimanfaatkan sebagai habitat berbagai moluska salah satunya gastropoda. Gastropoda juga memanfaatkan batang mangrove bagian bawah sebagai habitatnya. Mengigat pentingnya gastropoda memiliki peran ekonomis dan ekologis bagi manusia, maka kawasan hutan mangrove perlu di jaga dan dilestarikan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan komposisi gastropoda pada kawasan hutan mangrove Induha Kabupaten Kolaka. Metodelogi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel terdiri atas 3 line transek yang mencakup seluruh wilayah hutan mangrove dan masing-masing tarnasek terdiri atas 5 plot dengan ukuran 1x1 meter. Hasil identifikasi gastropoda terdiri dari 5 famili dan 9 spesies. Indeks keanegaragaman sebesar 2,057 (kategori sedang). Analisis indeks keseragaman secara keseluruhan sebesar 0,9366 (kategori tinggi) , indeks dominansi 0,143 (rendah). Hasil pengukuran parameter lingkungan seluruh transek pengamatan mendukung kehidupan gastropoda.

This program is the embodimentSmile Mandiri, which is a local-based economic empowerment program for underprivileged communities with the aim of reducing poverty through entrepreneurship. The purpose of the research on Balai Bina Mandiri Medan Denai is to find out how the Potential and Role of Zakat on MSMEs at Balai Bina Mandiri Medan Denai is. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research by the researcher, which is expected to be able to determine the potential and role of the Zakat Fund on the welfare of MSMEs at Balai Bina Mandiri Medan Denai. From the results obtained by the researchers, the potential that comes from Rumah Zakat itself is very promising for the MSMEs of the Medan Denai Center for Mandiri Development. And the role of Zakat in the Bina Mandiri Medan Denai hall is very instrumental to them. They can get a profit of Rp. 350,000.00, - up to Rp. 500.000,00,-. per day. With a variety of products sold..Based on research results show that with the Mandiri Smile Program from Rumah Zakat, and with the establishment of Balai Bina Mandiri Denai, it plays a very big role in providing additional funds to meet their household needs.

The problem faced by Vocational High Schools Accounting teachers in Tulungagung Regency is that the concept of higher order thinking skills has not been implemented optimally in compiling accounting questions. The purpose of holding this community service is to increase understanding of by Vocational High Schools Accounting teachers in compiling accounting questions based on higher order thinking skills. The method of community service activities is in the form of training for members of the Vocational High Schools Accounting Teachers Organization in Tulungagung Regency. This activity consists of the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the monitoring and evaluation stage. The results of the evaluation of this activity showed that vocational Accounting teachers in Tulungagung Regency had a better understanding of the concept of higher order thinking skills and their application in compiling accounting questions.

The number of MSMEs that have halal certificates is still far less than large industries, including MSMEs in Kedungsalam Village, Donomulyo District, Malang Regency. Based on these problems, the Accounting Department of Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) held a halal literacy activity for MSMEs. This halal literacy activity has never been obtained by participants before. The purpose of this activity is that in the future MSMEs in Kedungsalam Village can improve product quality through halal certification, so that they can survive and compete in the globalization era. This service activity is considered right on target, because MSME products that are not yet halal certified can register through the Halal Center at UM. The UM Halal Center has been officially established since early 2019 which has a role in providing services to the community's needs for halal certification, namely accompanying, fostering, and overseeing halal product guarantees.

Pelatihan pembuatan dessert untuk masyarakat Desa Curug Wetan dilandasi oleh motivasi pengembangan kewirausahaan masyarakat desa. Dessert merupakan sesuatu yang terbilang baru sehingga dapat membuka peluang yang baru pula untuk dipasarkan. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat dan pemerintah desa menyambut rencana perealisasian kawasan wisata di desa itu dengan membekali keterampilan kuliner. Metode yang sedianya akan digunakan dalam penelitian sekaligus pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, dialog interaktif atau tanya jawab. Selain tanya jawab para fasilitator pelatihan mendemonstrasikan secara langsung bahan yang akan dibuat. Metode lain yang dapat diterapkan dalam pelatihan adalah pembentukan kelompok dalam forum pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan dan penelitian ini adalah 1) peserta merasa proses pembuatan menu dessert yang diajarkan dalam pelatihan mudah untuk dikuasai. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa materi pelatihan dapat diterima dengan baik oleh peserta; 2) peserta memiliki ketertarikan terhadap ciri khas menu dan proses pembuatannya; 3) peserta telah menemukan sesuatu yang baru proses pelatihan yang didapatnya. merasakan manfaat dari proses pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana; 4) materi yang diajarkan menarik dan mudah untuk dibuat bagi peserta; 5) peserta merasa tertarik untuk menjadikan menu dessert sebagai salah satu menu unggulan dalam bisnis kulinernya, peserta merasa tertarik untuk menjadikan menu dessert sebagai salah satu menu unggulan dalam bisnis kulinernya.

This study has the main objective of knowing how the influence of E-WOM (electronic word of mouth) and the appeal of the decision to visit the Rest Area Heritage KM 260B. This study uses a quantitative research type with the SPSS version 22 method. The population used in this study is all visitors in the Heritage Rest Area with a sample of 101 respondents, consisting of 16 questions and obtained by distributing questionnaires to all Rest Area Heritage visitors. offline (paper) and online (google form). The results showed that the E-WOM variable had a positive effect on visiting decisions with a significance value (sig) of 0.000 < probability 0.05 and a tcount of 5,458 > ttable of 1,985. The attractiveness variable has a positive effect on the decision to visit with a significance value (sig) of 0.009 < probability 0.05 and a tcount of 2.667 > ttable of 1.985, so it can be interpreted that the variation of all independent variables, namely E-WOM and attractiveness can affect the decision to visit

Consumer behavior is the basis for consumers to make purchasing decisions. Consumer behavior is an activity that is closely related to the process of purchasing goods or services. In this study, the independent variable is consumer behavior (X), while the dependent variable is online purchasing decisions (Y). This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of consumer behavior in making online purchasing decisions for the people of Brebes Regency on e-commerce shoppe. The type of research used is quantitative research. The processed data is the result of distributing questionnaires to the public or consumers randomly via google form, the number of population is unknown with a sample of 100 respondents who have been processed using SPSS 22. Data analysis techniques used in this study are validity test, reliability test, test normality, simple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test (R²), and t-test (Partial). Based on the t-test (Partial) shows a positive and significant influence on online purchasing decisions with a value of 0.000 <0.05

This study aims to test and prove the existence of a partial and simultaneous influence between internal factors, external factors and emotional factors on the interest in youth entrepreneurship in Salem District. This type of research is quantitative research using associative research methods. The sampling technique in this study used propotional random sampling using the Slovin formula.  Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were youths of Salem District. The analytical methods used in this study consist of validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis tests.

In terms of improving human resources in the company, it is necessary to evaluate employee performance. By evaluating employee performance, companies have supporting data and information to evaluate human resources to make them even better. Employee performance is important in a company because it will affect the achievement desired by the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze the significant influence of work motivation, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously on the performance of employees in family companies in Surabaya. This study used a quantitative approach using multiple regression analysis because the sample used was a questionnaire with a total of 73 respondents. The results showed that some work motivation, work discipline, and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work motivation, work discipline, and work environment have a significant effect on the performance of employees in family companies in Surabaya.

. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian metode deskriptif. Dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 23 siswa. tempat penelitian di SMPN 2 Sebangki Kecamatan Sebangki, Dusun Senunuk, Desa Agak. Dalam penelitian ini hanya mengambil tiga kelompok peserta didik kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses berpikir kritis siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika ditinjau dari Motivasi Belajar Siswa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan perhitungan angket didapatkan hasil kelompok tinggi dengan kriteria X ≥ 77,49 yaitu ada 2 siswa, kelompok sedang dengan kriteria 67,29 ≤ X < 77,49 yaitu ada 16 siswa, dan kelompok rendah dengan kriteria X < 67,29 yaitu ada 5 siswa. Sedangkan pada perhitungan hasil tes, kelompok tinggi dengan kriteria X ≥ 11,64 yaitu ada 9 siswa, kelompok sedang dengan kriteria 9,56  ≤ X < 11,64 yaitu ada 5 siswa, dan kelompok rendah dengan kriteria X < 9,56 yaitu ada 9 siswa. berdasarkan hasil wawancara, responden siswa yang memiliki proses berpikir kritis siswa motivasi tingkat tinggi lebih baik dalam menyelesaikan soal dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki proses berpikir kritis motivasi tingkat sedang dan rendah.    

Kepemimpinan sangat dibutuhkan dalam menjalankan suatu organisasi termasuk dalam mengelola perbankan syariah. Kepemimpinan mampu mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan sehingga akan berdampak pula pada hasil kerjanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di bank Sumut syariah kantor cabang pembantu stabat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Stabat, sedangkan Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 yaitu para karyawan yang ada di karyawan Bank Sumut Syariah KCP Stabat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan variabel bebas yang diteliti yaitu kepemimpinan (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) karyawan PT. Bank Sumut KCP Stabat. Pengaruh Kepemimpinan (X) dan Kinerja (Y) karyawan PT. Bank Sumut KCP Stabat sebesar 83,4%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 16,6% (100% - 83,4%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain. Kepemimpinan memiliki arah yang positif terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Bank Sumut KCP Stabat.  

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pemikiran Muhammad Natsir tentang pembaruan pendidikan di pesantren Al fatah tanjung Pura. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library reseach) dengan pendekatan pendekatan filosofis. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa data adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammad Natsir mengemukakan pemikirannya tentang pembaruan pendidikan Islam, yaitu Pertama, peran dan fungsi pendidikan Islam yang pada intinya memberi perhatian lebih pada aspek afektif peserta didik serta menjauhkan setiap hal yang dapat menghambat potensi yang dimilikinya, Kedua, Integrasi ilmu umum dengan ilmu pendidikan agama Islam dalam satu kurikulum, Ketiga,  Tauhid sebagai landasan pendidikan Islam serta mewujudkan manusia yang mengabdi kepada Allah swt. sebagai tujuan pendidikan Islam, 4) Pendidikan kepemimpinan dalam lembaga pendidikan. Adapun implementasi pemikiran Muhammad Natsir tentang integrasi ilmu umum dengan ilmu agama Islam dalam satu kurikulum telah berjalan dengan baik. Indikatornya adalah dalam penyusunan kurikulum, pesantren Al fatah tanjung Pura  menggunakan tiga kurikulum yang disatukan, dari tiga kurikulum tersebut terdapat mata pelajaran umum serta mata pelajaran agama Islam seperti tahfidz dan mentoring.  

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan Multiple Choice Diagnostik dengan teknik evaluasi Two Tier pada materi himpunan pada tingkat tinggi, sedang dan rendah kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini akan mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi matematika dalam Multiple Choice Diagnostic dengan teknik evaluasi Two Tier pada tingkat tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Adapun deskripsi datanya adalah Data Instrumen Angket Motivasi Belajar siswa, data tes pilihan ganda dua tingkat dan hasil wawancara. Kemudian dianalisis dan di pilih secara purpose samling, masing-masing 3 siswa dari tinggi, sedang, dan rendah yang dipilih dan dijadikan subjek wawancara. Instrumen tersebut dilakukan oleh 3 orang validator yaitu 2 dosen dari IKIP-PGRI Pontianak dan 1 orang guru mata pelajaran. Setelah dinyatakan valid oleh 3 validator kemudian dilakukan uji coba instrumen. Persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebasar 47%, paham konsep sebesar 43%, yang teridentifikasi benar berdasarkan keberuntungan 7% dan mengalami tidak paham konsep 3%.    

Academic information systems are veritably important for schools, especially for academy and students. Still, the perpetration of the academy information system has not yet reached all educational institutions, for illustration at Bina Taruna Medan Middle School. Therefore, the author make an Android-based school information application, so students can view information about academy biographies, school facilities, school galleries, teacher names, subject schedules, and student grades through the application without having to go to academy. Therefore, in this study the authors used the Rest API (Application Programming Interface) method. The Rest API method is a software that allows developers to integrate and allow two different applications to connect to each other simultaneously. With the Android-based school application at Bina Taruna Medan Middle School, it is hoped that it will make it easier for students to get school information that is more accurate, effective and efficient, as well as make it easier for the school to collect information about student academic development. So from the results of black box testing, the results show that the system built can work well according to its function.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kepemilikan institusional, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, dan tingkat likuiditas mempengaruhi insersi pajak. Metodologi penelitian ini bersiat kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan data sekunder dari BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia). Perusahaan-perusahaan di sektor produk konsumen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) antara Maret 2018 hingga Maret 2022 menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak empat perusahaan telah dieliminasi dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis panel data. Meskipun likuiditas dan leverage tidak berdampak pada penghindaran pajak, hasil pengujian data panel menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan institusional dan ukuran perusahaan memiliki dampak yang cukup besar.
