This study aims to examine the impact of training and work motivation on employee performance, with work discipline acting as an intermediary variable that mediates the influence of both variables on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive design to gain a deep understanding of the relationship between these variables. The research sample consisted of all 49 employees of the Class II B Bantaeng Detention Center, selected using a saturated sampling technique, where all employees served as respondents. Data were collected through field observations and a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale, which included questions regarding training, work motivation, work discipline, and employee performance. This questionnaire was designed to measure respondents' perceptions of the factors that influence their performance, as well as the relationship between the variables of training, motivation, work discipline, and employee performance. After the data were collected, an analysis was conducted using path analysis to identify the direct and indirect influences between the variables involved in the research model. The results showed that training and work motivation have a positive and significant influence on work discipline. This means that the better the training provided to employees, and the higher their level of work motivation, the better the employee's work discipline will be. Furthermore, good work discipline has a direct effect on improving employee performance. In other words, work discipline acts as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between training, motivation, and employee performance. These findings confirm that non-technical factors such as training and work motivation play a significant role in improving employee performance by enhancing their work discipline. This study provides important insights into the importance of effective training and high motivation to foster good work discipline, which in turn can improve employee performance.

The purpose of this study is to show how much green finance—which includes investments in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, green technology, social investment, and green bonds—can help a sample of Iraqi bank employees achieve sustainable financial performance, including accounting, marketing, and comprehensive performance. The research problem was that the banking system and the government must work together effectively to provide the required financial tools, such as low-cost bank loans and exemptions from environmental taxes, in order to achieve sustainable financial performance and make the shift to a green economy. By examining the connection between these factors, two primary hypotheses were created to gauge the degree of influence and linkage. The primary instrument for gathering information pertaining to the field component of the study was the questionnaire form. There were 179 people in the sample. The study included a variety of statistical techniques, including standard deviations, arithmetic averages, and structural equation modeling with the aid of statistical tools (spss.var.29, amos.var.26). The most significant of the conclusions drawn was that green financing has a morally beneficial effect on sustainable financial performance.

Purpose – This article aims to develop an integrative framework for utilizing hybrid bio-ceramic composites as high-temperature protective materials in aerospace and defense systems. The focus is on enhancing the extreme heat resistance of bio-ceramics through hybridization with metals or polymers to create durable materials capable of withstanding hypersonic conditions and extreme aerothermal environments. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, analyzing scientific publications indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, and SINTA from 2015 to 2025. The review explores the development of bio-ceramic composite research, hybridization strategies with polymers and lightweight metals, and manufacturing innovations that enhance material performance in thermal protection systems for aerospace applications. Findings – The literature review shows that hybrid bio-ceramic composites outperform conventional materials. These composites can endure temperatures up to 1800 °C, possess high resistance to oxidation, ablation, and thermal shock, and are lightweight for aeronautical use. Biomimetic designs inspired by mollusk shells and bones improve fracture toughness and mechanical performance. Hybridization with polymers and lightweight metals expands the potential applications in hypersonic aircraft and modern defense systems. Practical Implications – The findings are crucial for developing jet engine shields, hypersonic missiles, and space re-entry capsules. For Indonesia, this research offers opportunities to reduce reliance on imported high-temperature materials and enhance national defense industry independence. Originality/Value – The article contributes a new perspective by highlighting bio-ceramic hybrids as strategic materials capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, integrating biomimetic principles and composite technology for modern defense systems.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of elementary school students. RME is a learning approach that connects mathematical concepts with real situations that students can find in everyday life. The research method used is qualitative research by reviewing the results of previous studies that are relevant in the context of mathematics learning in elementary schools. Based on the analysis of various studies, the results of the study indicate that the application of RME can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This is evident in various materials such as geometry (circumference and area of trapezoids and kites), mixed arithmetic operations, and equivalent fractions. RME also plays a role in increasing students' self-esteem and self-efficacy in learning mathematics, which in turn strengthens their motivation and performance. In addition, the learning media used in RME, such as geoboards, can enrich students' learning experiences and facilitate understanding of mathematical concepts in a more concrete way. This study provides an overview that RME not only improves students' cognitive abilities, but also supports their emotional and social development in the context of mathematics learning.

Employees are one of the company's assets, their position is very important in order to advance the company, so companies need to pay attention to their employees. On the other hand, employee performance itself will be determined by employee job satisfaction with the company, so paying attention to employee job satisfaction becomes important in order to improve company performance. Among the many factors that influence employee job satisfaction, inflation is one factor that has a fairly strong influence on job satisfaction. In Indonesia, cases of industrial disruption tend to remain high, one of which is caused by problems with the settlement system implemented by companies which are not in line with expectations. This situation shows that the settlement system for related components, the principles and objectives of providing compensation have not been properly understood. Compensation as a system consisting of salaries, incentives and allowances received by employees, each component according to its characteristics has principles that need to be followed. Meanwhile, the objectives of providing compensation include getting quality employees, retaining existing employees, ensuring equality, providing an imbalance that meets expected behavior, controlling costs and complying with applicable laws and regulations.

This research investigates school scope classification using Deep Neural Networks (DNN), focusing on students living environments and educational opportunities. By addressing the interplay of socioeconomic and educational factors, the study aims to develop an analytical framework for understanding how environmental contexts shape academic trajectories. The research provides a nuanced understanding of the importance of features in educational classification by developing DNN models based on Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient (SRCC). The methodology employs machine learning techniques, integrating data wrangling, exploratory analysis, and multiple DNN models with K-fold cross-validation. The study analyzes 677 student records from two schools. The research examined multiple model configurations. Results show that the 'All Data' model achieved 83.08% accuracy, the 'Top 5' model 81.54%, and the 'Non-Top 5' model 79.23%. The SRCC-based approach revealed that while top correlated features are important, additional variables significantly contribute to model performance. The study highlights the profound impact of family background, social environment, and educational contexts on school selection. Furthermore, it demonstrates DNN's capability to uncover intricate, non-linear relationships, offering actionable insights for policymakers to leverage machine learning's potential in developing targeted educational strategies.
