Arts and culture subjects play an important role in shaping students into creative individuals, maintaining and developing the nation's cultural heritage, while providing support in facing future challenges. The skills acquired through this subject are considered an integral part of the provision provided to students. In the current era, it can be seen that cultural heritage is increasingly fading because it is being eroded by time. Cultural performances and the number of traditional art performers continue to decline, especially guritan art, which has resulted in this cultural heritage becoming increasingly unknown to the public, and people's interest in enjoying traditional art performances from their ancestors is also decreasing. This condition is a serious concern for South Sumatra cultural observer, Vebri Alianti, who stated that cultural heritage is currently threatened with extinction and being eroded by the currents of time (Faldy, 2018). Guritan lahat often highlights local stories, regional legends, heroic stories, as well as the values of introducing and providing an understanding of the art of guritan in class IV of SD Negeri 7 Mulak Ulu, Lahat Regency using the demonstration method. Through this assessment, it is hoped that it can contribute to the development of arts education in Lahat in particular and in Indonesia in general. Thus, this research is entitled "Learning Guritan Art Using Demonstration Methods in Class IV Negeri 7 Mulak Ulu, Lahat Regency"

In the current era of globalization, many local communities throughout the world, including in rural Ambulu, Jember, are experiencing changes in values and customs due to global influences. The local cultural values of the Ambulu rural community are known to be very rich and diverse, but face challenges as a result of rapid globalization. This research aims to identify and analyze the impact of globalization on local cultural values in the rural community of Ambulu Jember, with a focus on how these values persist or change over time. This research uses a qualitative approach by applying contemporary theory from Michael Foucault to analyze the data. The focus of analysis in this research looks at how the discourse and practices of power in society change along with the introduction of global values and how local communities react to these changes. The research results show that the Ambulu community experiences dualism in maintaining local cultural values. On the one hand, there are efforts by the community to maintain old customs and values, while on the other hand, several aspects of local culture have evolved or even been eroded due to the influence of globalization, such as changes in language, social rituals and kinship systems. The impact of globalization on local cultural values demands more inclusive adaptation strategies and more strategic cultural preservation so that rural communities such as those in Ambulu can maintain their cultural identity while receiving the benefits of globalization.

This article discusses the tradition of sea alms in Cilacap Regency and how this tradition is acculturated with Islamic teachings. Sedekah laut is a traditional ceremony performed by coastal communities as a form of gratitude for sustenance from the sea. This tradition originally contained elements that were considered deviant from Islamic teachings, such as offerings to the sea spirit Kanjeng Ratu Kidul. However, through acculturation, these elements have been adapted to Islamic values, so that they now involve prayers and alms to Allah SWT. The sea alms tradition also plays a role in strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and awareness of cultural preservation among coastal communities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study to examine the relationship between customary law and Islamic law in this tradition. The results show that customary law and Islamic law can interact harmoniously without dominating each other, each having a role in preserving local traditions that enrich Indonesia's cultural heritage.

This theory explains the existence of traditional pendalungan culture in the traditional culture of the Jember Regency area in the progress of modern arts and culture in passing on arts and culture education regarding can macanan kadhuk and his art can entertain arts and culture and also as a relative preference that a person has in dealing with and in participation in the larger community along with other ethnocultural groups. Schematically, the concept described in the Strategy as explained in the scheme above has different names depending on the ethnocultural group: whether the ethnocultural group is dominant or non-dominant. From the point of view of the non-dominant group (left), assimilation occurs when someone does not want to maintain their cultural identity and seeks daily interaction with other cultures. The opposite is a separation strategy. A separation strategy occurs when someone lives up to the values of their original culture and at the same time avoids interacting with others. Nevertheless, when measures of preferences and behavior are both included in an assessment of how a society is acculturating, there is usually one pattern that indicates a consistent strategy.
