This research aims to explore how a story-based learning approach can increase students' understanding of the rain phenomenon in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at the elementary school level. Using a qualitative approach and case studies, this research involved fourth grade students and science and science teachers in one elementary school. The research results show that story-based learning is able to change students' erroneous understanding of the rain phenomenon into a more accurate scientific understanding. Stories that connect scientific concepts with students' daily experiences successfully increase their engagement and participation in learning. In addition, this approach can also simplify abstract concepts such as the water cycle, making the material more interesting and easy to understand. Despite some challenges, such as the time required to design relevant stories, the positive impact of this approach on students' understanding and their engagement is significant. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more creative and contextual science learning methods in elementary schools.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of healthy canteens in elementary schools in the working area of the Paal V Health Center in Jambi City. Methods: This study is a qualitative study with an analytical descriptive approach. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews, FGDs, observations, and documentation, with informants consisting of school principals, health center staff, teachers, canteen sellers, and students. Results: At SDN 64/IV Jambi City, there is a written policy regarding school healthy canteens. The average canteen handler has used an apron as personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintained hand and clothing hygiene. School canteen facilities are equipped with adequate lighting and the availability of clean water. However, it is still found that plastic containers are used for food containers. The informants agreed that the existence of healthy canteens in schools is very important and suggested that canteens only sell food that is filling and free from harmful chemicals. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing Game Based Learning (GBL) in improving students' learning outcomes on the human digestive system material in grade V at SDN Dukuh Kupang 3/490 Surabaya. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design involving two groups: the experimental group (15 students) taught using GBL and the control group (15 students) taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest), observation sheets, and learning motivation questionnaires. Data analysis used the independent sample t-test to examine differences in learning outcomes between the two groups. The results showed that the posttest average score of the experimental group (85.7) was significantly higher than that of the control group (74.3), with p < 0.05. Additionally, observations indicated that active student engagement in the experimental group reached 91%, while the control group only achieved 72%. The application of GBL also increased students' learning motivation, with the motivation score of the experimental group rising from 67.8% to 88.5%. This study concludes that the implementation of Game Based Learning is effective in enhancing learning outcomes, engagement, and motivation in IPAS lessons on the human digestive system material. Fine arts learning in elementary schools has an important role in developing students' creativity and artistic spirit. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in shaping the artistic spirit of elementary school students. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group that applies CTL learning and a control group that uses conventional learning methods. The research subjects were students, and the data collection instruments included a drawing test, observation, and questionnaire. To compare the learning outcomes of both groups, the data were analyzed using t-test. The results showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups. Students who followed CTL learning showed improvement in creativity, self-expression, and understanding of fine art concepts compared to the control group. The findings indicate that CTL learning is effective in shaping students' artistic spirit, giving them the opportunity to connect learning materials with daily life through various interesting and challenging activities, which encourage them to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively. In addition, since CTL learning makes students feel more involved and active in the learning process, it can increase their motivation to learn.
