This study aims to develop teaching materials based on the TESMER approach on algebra material to improve the quality of mathematics learning at the junior high school level. TESMER as a development model is designed to bridge learning theory with classroom learning practices through systematic stages, namely the analysis, design, formative experiments, and retrospective reflection stages. The algebra material focused on includes algebraic forms, algebraic operations, and simple problem solving. This study uses a design research approach by involving teachers and students in the development process. The results of expert validation show that the teaching materials are included in the very valid category, with high assessments in the aspects of content integration, presentation, and language. Limited trials show that the teaching materials are practical to use by teachers and are liked by students. In addition, there was a significant increase in students' conceptual understanding and logical thinking skills after using the teaching materials. These findings recommend the TESMER approach as an effective framework in developing contextual algebra learning devices that are oriented towards meaningful learning.

Student learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) at Class 7H MTsN 1 Kota Kediri were initially low, due to the use of less interactive lecture methods. This led to low student motivation and difficulty in understanding the material. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Social Studies through the application of the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 33 students of Class 7H. Data collection techniques included tests, observation, and questionnaires. The results showed an improvement in student learning outcomes across each cycle. The average score increased from 64.84 in the pre-cycle to 79.24 in cycle I, and reached 94.27 in cycle II. The percentage of mastery learning also improved from 3.03% to 81.82%, and finally reached 100%. Therefore, the TGT learning model proved to be effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Social Studies.

Learning activities can run smoothly if accompanied by the availability of appropriate learning media. Learning in the Machining Technology course requires direct practical activities, for example in understanding the use of lathes. The limitations of students' mastery of knowledge when facing the teaching and learning process that tends to be lecture-oriented, causing students' lack of understanding during practice. Learning media that is less interesting causes failure in delivering material, thereby reducing students' interest in learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Real Time Augmented Reality (RT-AR) Lathe media in the learning process of the Machining Technology course in the D-III Study Program, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University (FT-UNP). RT-AR media is designed to present interactive visualizations that describe the lathe work process in real time, so that it is expected to improve students' conceptual understanding and practical skills. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design in two groups: the experimental group using RT-AR media and the control group using conventional learning methods. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental group compared to the control group. In addition, RT-AR media is also able to increase students' motivation and active participation during the learning process. These findings indicate that RT-AR Lathe media is an effective and relevant learning innovation to be applied in vocational engineering education, especially in mastering lathing material.

Learning biology on the human motion system material often presents challenges due to the complex and abstract nature of the material. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by video media in class X SCIENCE SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. This research is a Class Action Research which was carried out in two cycles using a collaborative reflective approach. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages, with data collection through observation, evaluation tests, interviews, and field notes. The results in the first cycle showed that the average student score only reached 53.4 with a classical completeness rate of 32%. In cycle II, after improvements based on reflection in cycle I, learning outcomes increased significantly, with an average of 85.3 and a completeness rate of 100%. These findings show that integrating video media in discovery-based learning effectively improves students' understanding of hard-to-visualize biological concepts. Audio-visual media help students relate visual information to authentic experiences, while Discovery Learning encourages active and exploratory engagement of students in the learning process. This research contributes to the science education literature by showing that technology-based and participatory learning strategies can answer the challenges of biology learning in secondary schools. Implicitly, teachers are encouraged to adopt a similar approach to create active, engaging, and meaningful learning.

Critical thinking skills are an important competency in learning biology, especially in biodiversity materials that require analysis, reasoning, and decision-making. This study aims to determine the influence of the Guided Discovery Learning learning model  on the critical thinking ability of grade X students at SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. The method used was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the control class that was taught using the conventional model and the experimental class that received treatment with the Guided Discovery Learning model. Data were collected through pretest and posttest written tests, and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 81 higher than the control class of 63.5. In addition, the Tcal value of 4.65 is greater than the Ttable of 2.02 at a significance level of 0.05, which shows that  the Guided Discovery Learning model  has a positive influence on improving students' critical thinking skills. This result is also strengthened by a decrease in standard deviation which shows an equal distribution of understanding between students. This research contributes to the development of active learning strategies in biology education and suggests the application of this model to improve higher-level thinking skills. This model is also relevant applied to other topics in order to strengthen discovery-based learning and collaboration.

In the world of education, students' English language skills cannot be separated from the learning process provided by lecturers. Lecturers as facilitators try to provide the best teaching and learning process for their students. English is a course that develops communication skills both orally and in writing, understanding and expressing information. This course is no longer just a course that is limited to grammar, but can also develop students' skills in communicating English orally and in writing. For this reason, a creative approach is needed that can make students more active and interesting in learning English. One of the approaches provided by lecturers is learning English by utilizing audio-visual media, namely using videos, films, and music. In teaching English material, the use of this learning media is one of the right learning media to use. The purpose of this journal is to provide strategies in utilizing audio-visual media to improve students' English learning outcomes. Technically, the strategy for utilizing audio-visual media in the process of teaching and learning English is divided into three stages, namely preparation, use and the last is follow-up after use. This media utilization strategy will make English learning more effective, interactive and interesting. Lecturers will be more optimal in delivering materials and students will find it easier to understand.
