In the midst of increasingly fierce modern market competition, traditional beverage products such as sarabba from Makassar began to enter the competitive market. This study aims to analyze the market penetration strategy of Makassar's Sarabba traditional beverage product in an effort to expand its reach and increase competitiveness in local and national markets. Sarabba, as a traditional spice-based drink, has high cultural value and economic potential but faces challenges in terms of marketing and adaptation to modern consumer tastes. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, through direct observation, interviews with business actors, and documentation analysis. The results showed that the market penetration strategy implemented includes product innovation in the form of ready-to-eat packaging, utilization of digital media for promotion, and collaboration with local MSMEs and creative industry players. With the implementation of effective marketing strategies (4P), Saraba can maintain its traditional flavors while reaching new consumers in local and national markets. This research contributes to the development of marketing strategies for traditional products and suggests ways to improve the competitiveness of local products in the international market. This strategy is considered effective in increasing the visibility of Sarabba products among the younger generation and tourists. This research suggests the need for local government support in the form of training, product certification, and market access facilitation to strengthen Sarabba's existence as a competitive local culinary identity in the era of globalization.

Agriculture is a sector that plays a vital role in the economies of many developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the production scale and examine the factors influencing rice production, such as capital, labor, and land area. The research was conducted in Kerambitan Sub-district, Tabanan Regency. The agricultural sector, particularly rice production, plays an essential role in the regional economy and food security. However, it continues to face fluctuations due to various influencing factors. This study employs a quantitative method using multiple linear regression based on the Cobb-Douglas production function to measure the scale of production. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with rice farmers in Kerambitan Sub-district, using proportionate stratified random sampling. The results indicate that capital, labor, and land area have a positive and significant effect on rice production in Kerambitan Sub-district, Tabanan Regency. Furthermore, the production scale in this study shows decreasing returns to scale, meaning that each additional unit of input yields a proportionally smaller increase in output. These findings imply the need for strategies to enhance production efficiency and optimize resource utilization to improve rice productivity.

Torok Golo Village in Rana Mese District, East Manggarai, is an agrarian area with significant agricultural potential but faces various structural challenges, such as limited access to agricultural technology, weak farmer institutions, and low community participation in village development planning processes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a community-based farmer empowerment program in the area. A qualitative approach was used with a descriptive-qualitative research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving local actors, including farmers, extension workers, village officials, and program facilitators. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the empowerment program has enhanced farmers' capacities in production and group collaboration, and there has been active community participation during the implementation phase. However, participation in the planning and evaluation stages remains suboptimal, and the institutional structure of farmer groups still requires strengthening. Other weaknesses include limited market access and low utilization of modern agricultural technologies. The study concludes that program effectiveness heavily depends on sustained community participation across all stages and structural support from the government and assisting institutions. Future research is recommended to explore technology-based empowerment models combined with the strengthening of local institutions to better adapt to the needs of rural communities in remote areas.

This systematic literature review examines queue system simulation in hospitals across four key service areas: emergency departments, outpatient clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies. Following PRISMA methodology, 72 relevant studies (2015-2020) were analyzed to identify simulation models, software tools, performance parameters, and emerging trends. Findings reveal Discrete-Event Simulation dominance (59.7%), with increasing hybrid model adoption integrating System Dynamics and Agent-Based approaches. Emergency departments remain the primary application focus (52.8%), while Arena and AnyLogic emerged as predominant simulation platforms. Patient waiting time (91.7%) and resource utilization (77.8%) constitute the most evaluated performance metrics. Technological convergence trends demonstrate integration of real-time data analytics, machine learning, and digital twin concepts into traditional simulation frameworks. This review contributes methodological insights for optimizing hospital queueing systems while identifying research gaps in cross-departmental model interoperability and comprehensive value-based performance evaluation within contemporary healthcare systems.
