Indonesia, as the largest archipelagic state in the world, lies on international trade and transportation routes and possesses abundant natural resources. This strategic position creates both opportunities and challenges, particularly in the maritime domain, which requires the Indonesian Navy’s significant contribution in force deployment planning to counter future threats and disruptions. The evolving strategic environment necessitates specific policies and strategies for the Navy to enhance its strength in safeguarding sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security. This development is pursued through the establishment of the Minimum Essential Force (MEF), a fundamental standard that defines the minimum level of naval capability required to effectively execute missions and functions. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, using primary data from expert and user interviews as well as secondary data from observation and documentation, to analyze the selection of helicopter escorts utilized by the Indonesian Navy.

This study examines the relationship between Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) and legal autonomy within the Indian legal and constitutional framework. It explores how ancient Indian governance recognized legal pluralism through customary laws, village autonomy, tribal jurisdictions, and decentralized judicial systems. The study further analyzes the ecological and philosophical foundations of Indigenous Knowledge Systems, emphasizing the indigenous worldview that promotes harmony between humans and nature through principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship. Additionally, the research evaluates the legal challenges faced by indigenous communities under modern intellectual property regimes, particularly concerning communal ownership, oral traditions, and biopiracy. Constitutional protections such as the Fifth Schedule, Sixth Schedule, and the Forest Rights Act (2006), alongside landmark judicial decisions, demonstrate India’s efforts to safeguard indigenous rights and traditional knowledge. The study also highlights international legal mechanisms, including the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the Nagoya Protocol, and WIPO initiatives, while emphasizing the need for stronger legal frameworks and international cooperation to ensure indigenous sovereignty and long-term protection of Indigenous

This study examines the gap between Nestlé’s sustainability commitments and the reality of ecological damage caused by the use of unsustainable raw materials in its global supply chain. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature reviews and case study analysis, this study evaluates various data sources, ranging from scientific journals and corporate reports to documentation from independent organizations such as Greenpeace and the Rainforest Action Network. Findings indicate that Nestlé’s procurement of key commodities such as palm oil, cocoa, soy, dairy products, and singleuse plastics significantly contributes to deforestation, systemic plastic pollution, water extraction in vulnerable regions, and greenhouse gas emissions exceeding 87.5 million tons of CO₂e per year. In Indonesia, these highrisk areas are evident in palm oil sourcing in Sumatra and Kalimantan and cocoa sourcing in Sulawesi. Theoretically, this study argues that Nestlé’s sustainability governance exhibits a pattern of strategic decoupling, where public reporting on progress in primary supply chains is deliberately used to mask ongoing environmental damage within their hidden supply networks. Thus, this article makes a critical contribution by integrating supply chain management theory, environmental accountability, and the governance of multinational corporations.

This study aims to examine the strategic role of teachers in instilling anti-corruption educational values in elementary school (SD/MI) students in the digital era. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five SD/MI teachers in Karawang Regency conducted in May 2026. Findings reveal that all informants possess adequate conceptual understanding of anti-corruption education as a character-building process rather than mere knowledge transmission. Teachers perform three principal functions: as behavioral role models, value-based learning facilitators, and collaborative partners with families. Implemented strategies include exemplary conduct, habituation, cross-subject value integration, and utilization of digital media such as educational videos, animations, and interactive quizzes. However, implementation faces significant obstacles, including social media normalizing dishonest behavior, instant-gratification tendencies among students, and weak synergy between schools and family environments. This research affirms that successful internalization of anti-corruption values requires consistent teacher exemplarity, a conducive school ecosystem, robust digital literacy, and sustainable tri-center educational collaboration. Practical implications include the necessity of strengthening teachers' pedagogical competencies in designing character-based learning that is adaptive to the dynamics of the digital era.

This study aims to determine the effect of assertive leadership and self-actualization on the performance of nurses at Dr. Soekardjo Regional General Hospital in Tasikmalaya. The research design used in this study is a quantitative approach using a survey method. Research subjects: All 40 nurses working in the Melati ward were included as respondents. Research data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to all respondents. The collected data were analyzed using a series of multiple linear regression tests, along with instrument validation and hypothesis testing. The results of the data analysis yielded the regression equation Y = 0.743 + 0.482X1 + 0.521X2 + e. Furthermore, the analysis indicated that assertive leadership positively contributes to improved nursing performance. Additionally, self-actualization also plays a role in supporting performance improvement. Simultaneously, both variables exert a significant influence on nursing performance. The coefficient of determination of 68.2% indicates that 68.2% of the variation in nurses’ performance can be explained by the two independent variables—assertive leadership and self-actualization—while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that strengthening a more assertive and clear leadership style and fostering nurses’ self-actualization can serve as strategies for improving the quality of nursing care.

Classroom management is an important aspect of creating a conducive learning environment and supporting the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to analyze the permissive approach and the cookbook approach in classroom management based on the results of an interview with a teacher. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with interviews used as the primary data collection technique. The findings indicate that the teacher does not fully implement either the permissive approach or the cookbook approach. The teacher provides students with freedom within limits that support the learning process while still enforcing agreed-upon classroom rules. In addition, the teacher does not rely on rigid procedures but instead adapts classroom management strategies to students' characteristics and the situations encountered in the classroom. The study reveals that the teacher tends to adopt an adaptive classroom management approach by combining firmness, empathy, and flexibility, thereby creating an orderly, comfortable, and effective learning environment that supports the achievement of educational objectives.

This study aimed to analyze the influence of workload and burnout on nurses’ sleep quality while controlling for age, gender, and education as potential confounding variables. A quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted among 156 nurses working in a private hospital in Depok City. Data were collected using a workload questionnaire, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The data were analyzed using Chi-Square tests and multiple logistic regression. The findings showed that both workload and burnout had significant effects on sleep quality (p < 0.05), with burnout identified as the most dominant factor. Age and gender were also significantly associated with sleep quality, whereas education did not show a statistically significant effect. The regression model demonstrated excellent fit, indicated by a McFadden pseudo R² value of 0.908. These results suggest that occupational factors, particularly burnout, play an important role in determining nurses’ sleep quality. Therefore, effective stress reduction and workload management strategies are needed to support nurses’ well-being and improve sleep quality.

Sharia financial literacy is an important aspect in supporting inclusive and sustainable economic development. However, the level of sharia financial literacy among Indonesian society is still relatively low. This condition creates opportunities for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to play a strategic role in improving young generations’ understanding of financial management based on sharia principles. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to enhance the sharia financial literacy and inclusion of students through the SAKINAH (Santri Cakap Literasi Keuangan Syariah) Program at Nurul Abshor Islamic Boarding School, Katingan Regency. The program was implemented using a participatory educational approach through socialization, interactive discussions, simple simulations, and participant evaluations. The activity was carried out through collaboration among the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Central Kalimantan Province, the Islamic Economic Society of Katingan Regency, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Palangka Raya, Nurul Abshor Islamic Boarding School, the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team of Katingan Regency, and students of Palangka Raya University. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of saving, the ability to distinguish between needs and wants, sharia financial management, and knowledge of legal and trustworthy sharia financial products and services. The SAKINAH Program was also considered effective in encouraging students to become agents of sharia financial literacy within the pesantren environment and the wider community.

This research investigates the integration of Sound Governance principles within the sustainable tourism policy cycle as a mechanism to mitigate institutional fragmentation and evaluation inefficiencies in developing economies. Adopting a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design, the study establishes a multidimensional evaluation framework congruent with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Policy performance is rigorously analyzed across five strategic domains: Economy, Social-Welfare, Culture-Education, Environment, and Governance. The quantitative methodology employs 17 adapted SDG indicators to assess policy efficacy, while the subsequent qualitative phase utilizes semi-structured interviews and stakeholder mapping to deconstruct complex power dynamics within multi-actor co-management structures. The empirical findings demonstrate that Sound Governance—predicated on transparency and accountability—acts as a fundamental catalyst for policy effectiveness. It significantly enhances destination sustainability through a structured input-process-output-outcome-impact pathway. Evidence from the case study of Penglipuran Village, Bali, validates these results, showing that while indigenous institutional legitimacy bolsters social responsiveness, it remains susceptible to economic dependencies driven by overtourism. Ultimately, this study asserts that embedding SDGs into the policy evaluation cycle elevates assessments from perfunctory administrative exercises to strategic instruments essential for ecosystem preservation and long-term demand stability. These insights establish Sound Governance as a strategic intangible asset, providing significant theoretical contributions to development administration and offering pragmatic frameworks for policy-makers managing sustainable destinations in competitive global markets.

This study aims to provide the benefits of a psychological approach in education through a learning adjustment strategy based on the developmental stage and age limits of students. The study used a library method with a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach through a review of educational psychology literature, cognitive development theory, national education regulations, and various relevant scientific journals. The results of the study indicate that learning effectiveness is greatly influenced by the alignment between material, teaching methods, and students' psychological readiness. Piaget's cognitive development theory indicates that elementary school-aged children are at the concrete operational stage, thus requiring contextual learning, the use of real-life media, and active interaction in the learning process. This study also found that age limits in the education system have an important function as a means of synchronizing students' biological, emotional, social, and intellectual readiness with learning targets. Through the "Psychological Navigation" model, this study offers a strategic framework for educators to create adaptive, humanistic learning that is oriented towards optimal student development. The implications of this study emphasize that teachers need to understand the individual characteristics of students so that the educational process does not only focus on academic achievement, but also supports the psychological well-being and character formation of students as a whole.
