Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a fundamental pillar of the Indonesian economy, but their potential is often hampered by the digital divide, especially in rural areas. The Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) initiative is a way for the government to encourage digital transformation and make payments more accessible to everyone. This article aims to document and analyse the process and impact of a community service programme that facilitated the adoption of QRIS among 10 MSMEs in Pematang Tengah Village, Tanjung Pura Sub-district. This activity used the Community-Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR) method, which emphasises active collaboration between the service team and MSME partners. The process included participatory planning, collaborative action in the form of intensive training and mentoring, and joint evaluation. The results showed that all 10 MSME partners successfully adopted and used QRIS for daily transactions. The significant benefits included increased transaction efficiency, improved financial record-keeping, and a more modern business image. The main challenges identified were initial doubts about the technology and unstable internet connectivity, which were successfully mitigated through personalised mentoring based on trust. It was concluded that the CBPAR (Community-Based Participatory Action Research) method is a highly effective framework for implementing technological innovation in rural MSME communities because it not only addresses technical skill gaps but also builds crucial social capital such as trust and digital confidence.

This activity was conducted in Timbang Lawan Village, located in Bahorok Sub-district, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. The results of surveys and interviews with partners indicate that most residents, especially housewives, carry out activities at home, work as agricultural laborers, and engage in farming. This situation provides significant opportunities to train and educate them through programs aimed at improving economic conditions and financial independence. However, the main inhibiting factors identified are limited access to information, knowledge, and technology, which hinder their creativity in utilizing leisure time productively. The purpose of this community empowerment program is to provide education and socialization to inspire and empower the community in addressing economic problems through training in making dishwashing liquid. After this activity, it is expected that participants can reduce household expenses by no longer needing to purchase dishwashing liquid on a daily basis. Moreover, if opportunities arise, they may also identify business prospects to develop dishwashing liquid production. The expected benefit of this activity is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among housewives in Timbang Lawan Village.

This community service activity aims to design a prototype of a web-based Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) registration information system at the South Sumatra Provincial Industry Office as an effort to support the improvement of public service quality. The main problem faced by partners is the manual registration and management process for IPR data, which has the potential to cause service delays, data recording errors, and difficulties in monitoring the status of IPR applications. This condition requires an information technology-based solution that can improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency of services. The method used in this community service activity is the prototype method, which includes the stages of problem identification, user needs analysis, system design, and initial evaluation of the resulting prototype. The designed information system prototype includes features for online IPR registration, applicant and document data management, and application status monitoring. The results of the activity indicate that the IPR registration information system prototype is able to provide an overview of digital solutions that are in accordance with partner needs and have the potential to improve service efficiency and ease of data management. This activity is expected to become the basis for the development of a more comprehensive and sustainable IPR information system within the South Sumatra Provincial Industry Office.

This study explores the influence of career factors and economic independence on the phenomenon of late marriage in early adult women (aged 25-35 years) in Indonesia, especially in urban areas of North Sumatra such as Medan. Adopting a mixed-methods design, the study involved a quantitative survey of 250 career female respondents (with age criteria above 25 years old, unmarried, and a minimum income of the city UMR) using the Likert scale to measure career priorities as well as the financial independence index, complemented by logistic regression analysis to test causal relationships. Semi-structural interviews with 20 key informants uncovered an in-depth narrative about the trade-offs between professional ambitions (such as job promotion and income stability) and traditional marriage expectations. Key findings show that women with a bachelor's degree and above and an income of 1.5 times UMR tend to postpone marriage until the average age of 31.4 years, driven by the desire to achieve economic independence (regression coefficient β=0.42, p<0.01) as well as the flexibility of living without partner dependence. However, moderator factors such as Batak or Malay cultural pressures in Medan create internal conflicts, with 68% of respondents reporting social stress from family. Theoretically, the results support role conflict theory in modern family dynamics, while implications include recommendations for work-life balance-based pre-marital counseling programs and corporate policies to support high-quality marriages. This research contributes to the Indonesian family relations literature by highlighting the paradigm shift from patriarchal norms towards gender equality.

Hydrometeorological disasters increase the risk of infectious diseases due to environmental changes, damaged sanitation systems, and limited access to health services. These conditions highlight the need to strengthen community-based early detection systems as part of an early warning strategy. This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of community health volunteers in the early detection and reporting of infectious diseases through the digitalization of a simple surveillance system. The program was implemented in disaster-affected areas, involving community health volunteers as key partners. The methods included health education on post-disaster infectious diseases, technical training on the use of surveillance instruments, and assistance in implementing health surveillance forms in accordance with guidelines from the Ministry of Health of the Republic Indonesia. The results showed a significant improvement in the knowledge of participants, with ≥80% of volunteers passing the post-test evaluation. In addition, participants demonstrated improved skills in recording, identifying symptoms, and systematically reporting infectious disease cases. The digitalization of surveillance forms facilitated real-time data collection and reporting, enabling faster responses to potential outbreaks. This program contributes to strengthening community-based early warning systems and enhancing the role of community health volunteers as the frontline in post-disaster infectious disease control. The implementation of this initiative is expected to support rapid interventions by health service facilities, improve cross-sector coordination, and serve as a replicable model for strengthening community surveillance systems in other disaster-prone areas.

Higher education management at the master's level currently faces urgent challenges, namely learning fatigue and low engagement among professional students, especially in Prior Learning Recognition (RPL) classes. Currently, lecturers still tend to apply conventional learning methods based on static presentations that fail to accommodate andragogical characteristics due to a lack of dynamic interaction. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the “Humanistic Digital Andragogy” approach through the integration of gamification (Kahoot) and visual thinking (Whimsical) in the Strategic Human Resource Management course. The researchers used a descriptive qualitative design with thematic analysis and collected data through feedback from students in the Master of Management Program (Semarang and Sorong classes). The results revealed that technology served as a double catalyst: Whimsical visualization effectively reduced the cognitive load of complex strategy material, while competition in Kahoot triggered positive adrenaline (eustress) that increased attention. These findings confirm that the success of technology is highly dependent on the role of lecturers as humanistic facilitators (high-touch). This synergy has been proven to change students' perceptions of HRM from merely administrative to strategic partners, as well as creating learning satisfaction that is relevant to the world of work.

The development of the palm oil industry in Indonesia typically relies on collaboration with smallholder farmers, but this collaboration often faces various problems such as poor cultivation techniques, lack of technical guidance, unclear administrative matters, and limited access to certification and markets. This study aims to develop a specific human resource management model to support collaboration with smallholder farmers, thereby improving production yields, sustainability, and engagement in the palm oil supply chain. The method used is a desk study, namely by analyzing and reconstructing information from research results, industry reports, and palm oil certification and sustainability policies. Based on the analysis, a career structure and Human Resource Management functions are proposed, consisting of collaboration supervisors, field officers, capacity training officers, collaboration administration staff, and collaboration/certification managers. This model allows for technical and administrative assistance, training for farmers, collaboration coordination, and certification and compliance management. The implementation of this model is predicted to improve cultivation quality, improve smallholder access to certification and markets, and strengthen the stability and sustainability of the supply chain. Thus, the HR model for smallholders offers a strategic solution to the various challenges of working with smallholders and supports the development of a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable palm oil agribusiness sector.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of public service innovations through the Cheap Food Movement in realizing sustainable food security in Sorong City. The research uses a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of key informants at the Sorong City Food Security Office, business actors, and beneficiary communities. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, with triangulation of sources and methods to ensure data validity. The study results show that the Cheap Food Movement has increased community food accessibility through regular implementation, a coordinated distribution system, and partnerships with local farmers. Price affordability is achieved through cross-subsidization and a reduction of up to 30% of the market price in the distribution chain. The program's sustainability is supported by local economic empowerment and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The research implications inform the development of public service innovation models grounded in community needs. The study's limitations lie in its focus on a single region, which limits generalization. Recommendations aim to expand the program's scope, strengthen technology-based monitoring systems, and replicate models in other areas with similar conditions.

This study aims to examine the global marketing strategies implemented by The Coca-Cola Company in maintaining its competitive position in international markets. The advancement of globalization requires multinational corporations to design marketing strategies that are not only globally standardized but also adaptable to local market characteristics and consumer needs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, conducted through the review of relevant literature, corporate reports, and academic journals. The findings indicate that Coca-Cola’s success in global marketing is supported by strong brand differentiation, an extensive global distribution network through partnerships with bottlers, and the application of the glocalization concept, which balances standardization and adaptation within the marketing mix. Furthermore, market expansion strategies are implemented systematically through the selection of target markets based on growth potential, accessibility, and competitive intensity. The study also reveals that the country of origin image of the United States serves as a positive brand asset by creating aspirational value and quality perceptions across various markets, although in certain contexts it also presents challenges that require strategic management. Overall, this study confirms that Coca-Cola’s global marketing strategy is capable of achieving sustainable competitive advantage through the integration of strong global branding, product innovation, and responsiveness to local market dynamics.

Fine motor development is a fundamental prerequisite for academic readiness and independence in early childhood. Still, currently, challenges such as sedentary behaviour and screen exposure hinder the optimisation of these abilities. This community service program aims to implement a Play-Based Learning model of fine-motor stimulation to improve the physical and academic readiness of children at Tamalate State Kindergarten in Makassar City. The intervention program was conducted over two weeks through three main stimulation zones: Texture Zone (playdough and finger painting), Precision Zone (beading, origami, and cutting), and Manipulative Zone (busy board and puzzles). The target subjects were children in group B with fine-motor impairments, and the study evaluated 20 children using periodic observation checklists. The results showed a significant transformation, with 95% of children (19 out of 20 participants) experiencing an increase in achievement from the Starting to Develop (MB) category to Developing as Expected (BSH) and Developing Very Well (BSB). These findings confirm that a structured intervention through play zones is not only effective in strengthening intrinsic hand muscles and eye-hand coordination but also in building children's resilience and perseverance in learning. The program recommends integrating a micro-curriculum based on stimulation zones into daily learning plans and strengthening partnerships with parents to maintain consistency in children's development.

The growth of the digital economy in Indonesia has positioned Foreign Venture Capital Companies (FVCCs) as a fundamental pillar within the startup financing ecosystem. However, the legal landscape has undergone a significant transformation with the enactment of Law Number 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK Law). This regulation mandates that all financial services business actors, including foreign entities, obtain business licenses from the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). This study aims to analyze the legal implications of this licensing requirement on business certainty for foreign investors and to examine the normative inconsistencies between the Investment Law and the P2SK Law. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The findings reveal the existence of normative ambiguity (vagueness of norms) concerning the operational status of FVCCs utilizing offshore structures during the regulatory transition period, which is set to expire in January 2026. Such legal uncertainty has the potential to hinder the inflow of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) if not promptly addressed through adaptive implementing regulations, such as the optimization of regulations governing Foreign Representative Offices. On the other hand, the licensing obligation enhances legal certainty by providing preventive legal protection for Business Partner Companies through contract standardization and integrated supervision. In conclusion, this study recommends cross-sectoral regulatory harmonization and the issuance of clear technical guidelines to ensure a balanced approach between prudential supervision and investment facilitation.

Hypertension and hypercholesterolemia are closely related non-communicable diseases and major risk factors for cardiovascular disease, particularly in older adults. These conditions are influenced by medical, behavioral, family, and environmental factors, requiring a holistic family medicine approach through home visits. This study aimed to describe the clinical condition, family function, and environmental factors of a 60-year-old female patient with hypertension and hypercholesterolemia using the APGAR and SCREEM approaches. This study employed a qualitative descriptive design in the form of a case report involving Mrs. S (60 years old) in Lebbek Village, Pamekasan Regency. Data were collected through anamnesis, physical examination, total cholesterol measurement using a GCU meter, environmental observation, and assessment of family function and environmental factors. The results showed blood pressure values of 161/96 mmHg and 160/96 mmHg on repeated measurement, with a total cholesterol level of 154 mg/dL. The patient had a high-salt and high-fat diet with low physical activity. APGAR assessment indicated poor family function with a total score of 4, particularly in the partnership and resolve domains, while the growth domain was categorized as accepting. SCREEM analysis identified education as the main barrier. In conclusion, management of this condition requires family-based interventions focusing on improving family cooperation and health education tailored to the patient’s literacy level.
