The objective offthis study is to assess the impact of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperativeelearning modelron the mathematical development of students. This method of investigation is quasi-experimental. This study included students from both seventh grades at SMP Negeri 4 Tabukan Utara. The data was obtained from a test designed to assess understanding of Algebraic Fractions. Class analysis results for the Think Pair ShareeCooperative learninggmodel class and the direct learning model class indicate that the average learninggoutcomes of studentsstaught utilizing the ThinkkPairrShare Cooperativeelearning modelaare greater than those of studentsstaught utilizing the direct learning model.

This study aims to explore the role of classroom management on students' interest in learning mathematics in grade IV at SDN Jelegong 01 Rancaekek. This research was conducted because there were still many students who still had difficulties in solving math problems. This research uses observation method and qualitative approach. Through observing and documenting classroom management practices, this study found that good classroom management has a positive impact on students' interest in learning mathematics. Several important aspects of classroom management that were found included effective time management, the use of effective teaching methods, positive interactions between teachers and students, and creating a conducive classroom atmosphere. The research findings show that these factors can increase students' interest in learning mathematics. Thus, the findings of this study suggest that teachers pay attention to classroom management skills and to vary teaching methods. In this way, students' interest in learning can be increased and the experience of learning mathematics becomes more positive and meaningful for students. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of developing classroom management skills for teachers in increasing students' interest in learning mathematics.

This article aims to compile information on the implementation of informatics learning outcomes (CP) in mathematics education at elementary schools. The study utilizes a descriptive analytical research approach, employing library research methods to gather data from journals, news, and books obtained from both internet sources and digital libraries. Data collection techniques involve conducting a literature review, while qualitative analysis is employed to describe the data obtained through document analysis. The results demonstrate that there are three key elements of informatics learning outcomes that are absent during phase A of mathematics education in elementary schools.

This study aims to analyze the learning interest of high class private elementary school students in Mathematics. Interest in learning is a key factor in student learning success, and a deep understanding of student interest in learning can help develop effective learning strategies. This study involved a sample of students from high class private elementary schools consisting of several age groups. Data was collected using a questionnaire specifically designed to measure students' interest in Mathematics. The questionnaire included questions regarding students' interest in the subject, confidence in solving mathematical problems, and students' perceptions of the relevance of mathematics in everyday life. The results of the data analysis showed that most of the high class private elementary school students had a negative interest in learning Mathematics. They have not shown high interest in this subject and have no strong confidence in solving math problems. In addition, students are also not aware of the relevance of Mathematics in their daily lives. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide valuable insights for educators and policy makers in increasing students' interest in learning Mathematics.

The purpose of this study is to review more deeply the use of digital media kahoot: by dragon box in learning mathematics accompanied by a description of the obstacles experienced during the use of digital-based learning media: kahoot number by dragon box in learning mathematics in training children to think critically.  Qualitative description methods with interview techniques and the application of digital media include participatory observation, interviews, and documentation.  The subjects of this study were students aged 6-9 years from Kindergarten to Grade 3 Elementary School. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of digital teaching media was carried out in four stages, namely the action planning stage to develop a plan for using digital teaching media that is suitable for use in learning mathematics in training children to think critically,  the stage of carrying out the action by learning mathematics material using digital media through the educational game kahoot: numbers by dragon box, the stage of the action results as an effort to successfully use digital teaching media that is good for the development of children's thinking from the beginning to the end of use, and the stage of reflection by assessing how the process  implementation and results in the use of digital teaching media for children aged 6-9 years.  And the obstacles found in the use of digital teaching media are in the form of installing applications and registering accounts, the process of carrying out digital teaching media.

Visual aids are tools that can stimulate students' thoughts, skills, attention and willingness so that they can encourage the learning process in students, besides that using teaching aids can provide space for students to be actively involved in every learning process. In fact, in Toyang State Junior High School, mathematics learning has not used visual aids. The props created and used are number pattern boxes made of used cardboard, which are designed in such an attractive way to form several number pattern boxes consisting of: square, rectangular and triangular boxes. This visual aid is used in the learning process for class VIII students of SMP Negeri Toyang. This training aims to help foster the creativity of students and improve students' ability to use teaching aids. The result of this training is that students get new experiences by learning to use visual aids, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students who are very large and students more easily understand the concept of number patterns

This study examines the effectiveness of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in enhancing problem-solving skills among high school students. With the increasing demand for critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in the workforce, STEM education has become a crucial approach to preparing students for future challenges. The study aims to evaluate how project-based STEM curricula impact students' creativity, analytical skills, and overall problem-solving capabilities. Using a quasi-experimental design with a control group, the research was conducted with high school students who participated in STEM-based lessons involving the 5E instructional model. Data collection involved pre- and post-tests, classroom observations, and semi-structured interviews to measure changes in student skills. The findings indicate that students exposed to STEM education demonstrated significant improvements in problem-solving, creativity, and analytical thinking compared to their peers in traditional lecture-based classes. The study highlights the advantages of project-based learning in promoting active student engagement and fostering skills necessary for addressing real-world problems. These results suggest that STEM education can be more effective than traditional methods in cultivating essential 21st-century skills. The study recommends the broader implementation of STEM strategies in secondary education and further exploration of the long-term impact of STEM learning on various skills required in the professional world.

The type of research used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class IV at SDN Minasa Upa, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The results showed that in the first cycle, out of 32 students, only 18 students or 56.2% completed individually, where an average score of 62.8 was obtained with 4 students very critical (12.5%), 4 students critical (12, 5), 10 students are quite critical (31.2%), and 14 students are less critical (43.7%). Whereas in cycle II which was completed individually of 32 students there were 25 students or 78.1%, where an average value of 75.7 was obtained with 13 students very critical (40.6%), 5 students critical (15.6%) , 7 students are quite critical (21.8), and 7 students are less critical (21.8). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills in mathematics class IV at SDN Minasa Upa, Rappocini District, Makassar City through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model have increased.

This study aims to explore the effect of innovative mathematics learning in the Merdeka curriculum at MIN Kedungwuni.  Using a literature study and interview approach, this research examines the perceptions and experiences of stakeholders, such as teachers, students and parents, related to the implementation of these innovations.  The findings of this study are expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of mathematics learning innovations in increasing students' interest, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, collaboration, and mathematics achievement.  The results of this study can provide a basis for further development in innovative mathematics learning in elementary schools

This research is based on the problems found based on the results of interviews with mathematics teachers and students at SMPN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban that the media used in the learning process only uses the blackboard with lecture and discussion methods, there is no technology-based learning media, especially educational games that are used by teachers to students related to mathematics lessons caused a lack of interest and activeness of students in mathematics subjects. Based on this, the solution given is to design a learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media products in the form of educational games with the help of software Building 2 mathematics subjects at SMPN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban. The design of mathematics education games uses the construct 2 design application at SMPN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban with the Research and Development (R&D) research method using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development model from Luther Sutopo the development model is explained in 6 stages, namely Concept, Design, Materials Collection, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. The product test used in the research is the validity test, practicality test, and effectiveness test. The product test results show that the educational games designed are valid, practical and effective. For the results of the validity test of three validators, the score was 0.88, the practical test by 3 practi- tators was 0.97, and the effectiveness test of twenty people was 0.92.

This study aims to describe the improvement of mathematical problem-solving skills after applying the realistik mathematics learning assisted by digital media of class VIII students of SMP Dharma Patra Sei Lepan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study were 32 class VIII-A students of Dharma Patra Private Middle School. Data collection techniques used were teacher observation sheets, tests of mathematical problem-solving skills, and documentation. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Before taking action, first given the initial test and at the end of each cycle is given a test of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The test results of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities increased from the initial test, cycle I, and cycle II. In the classical pre-test, 3 students (9.38%) passed and the average pre-test ability was 49.12% with a very low level of ability. In the first cycle test, there was an increase classically, 17 students (53.13%) completed and the average ability test obtained 69.01% with the ability level in the medium category. Then the second cycle test also experienced an increase in classically obtained 28 students (87.5%) completed and an average ability obtained 81.05% with a high level of ability category. Thus it can be concluded that the application of realistik mathematics learning assisted by digital media can improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of class VIII students of SMP Dharma Patra Sei Lepan.

This research focuses on developing a game-based learning model to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities of class XI students at SMK Pratidina Makassar. This model was designed to make the learning process more interesting and interactive while increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Through a game approach, students are invited to think critically and analytically in solving mathematical problems, so that their problem-solving abilities can develop. The research results show that this game-based learning model is effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Apart from that, this model also succeeds in creating a more enjoyable learning atmosphere and students' learning motivation is higher. Therefore, this research recommends implementing a game-based learning model in teaching mathematics.

The purpose of this study is to compare the learning outcomes of students who were taught a system of linear equations with two variables using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model versus those who were taught the same material using the Direct Instruction methodology. Class VIII-1, which used the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, and class VIII-2, which used the Direct Instruction model, were the topics. This study used a Posttest Only Control Group Design and a Quasi-Experimental Method. The sample for this study was drawn from two classes, specifically classes VIII1 and VIII2, each of which included 25 pupils. Both classes were equal and uniform. This data analysis is tested using the t-test with the parameters tcount = 5.020 > ttable = 2.059. H1 is accepted because H0 is refused. For instance, the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) methodology can help students learn more effectively utilizing social math tools.

Behind the success of successful online teaching and learning, there must be careful preparation in creating or building the system. Some complaints that are around us are that some students have difficulty in online-based mathematics learning. Some of them have difficulty signaling due to cloudy or rainy weather, not having money to buy internet quota, boredom during the teaching, and learning process, and difficulty understanding the material in online learning. Although there are examples that have been explained by the teacher, they still do not understand what their teacher teaches them. The teacher had already made learning materials using instructional video media, but it was still not enough for students to understand the polynomial material taught by the teacher, and according to the teacher the main problem was that the students' ability to memorize formulas was still lacking. The objectives of this research to see validity, effectiveness and practicality of the video development using PowerPoint and Filmora application. This research is development research that applies the Dick & Carey development model. This research focuses on developing learning videos using PowerPoint as a learning media, and Filmora as a learning video editing medium.

Mathematics is often considered a difficult subject by students so it is not uncommon for students to experience learning difficulties such as experiencing anxiety when learning mathematics, therefore this study aims to describe the level of anxiety, describe the factors that cause anxiety, and how anxiety affects student learning difficulties class X at MAS YMPI Tanjungbalai. In this study, the number of research subjects was 36 students with a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection in this study was in the form of data field notes using observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Learning difficulties can be interpreted as a condition in the learning process which is characterized by the presence of certain obstacles to achieve learning outcomes. In this study it refers more to the problem of student anxiety which is an obstacle in achieving learning objectives. This research is a type of qualitative research and the validity technique in this study uses time triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion regarding the level of student anxiety in learning mathematics, it can be concluded that from 36 students, 8 (22.2%) students experienced high levels of anxiety, 23 (63.9%) students experienced moderate anxiety levels and 5 (13.9) %) students have a low level of anxiety. The anxiety of the students with the low anxiety category was more responsive and very enthusiastic in learning mathematics compared to the other two categories, namely the moderate anxiety category and the high anxiety category. Based on data analysis on average student learning outcomes, students with high levels of anxiety will have an average learning outcome lower than students with medium anxiety levels and high anxiety levels.

This Community Service Program aims to strengthen literacy and numeracy in elementary school (SD) students where the focus is to provide assistance to students about the importance of strengthening literacy and numeracy in students. This activity was carried out by lecturers and students from the Mathematics Education Study Program and the Economics Education Study Program, the Teaching and Education Faculty, HKBP Nommensen University Medan. The implementation of Community Service activities in strengthening literacy and numeracy in students began on 06 February 2023 and ended on 25 February 2023. Previously, this Community Service activity had been socialized to students of SD Negeri 040536, in every classroom and it was seen that the cause of the lack of literacy and numeracy in students is still low due to lack of learning and arithmetic exercises. This problem was then minimized by carrying out related Community Service Program activities to strengthen literacy and numeracy for elementary school students. This program is an important matter in efforts to improve the concept of numeracy in schools.

This Classroom Action Research aims to minimize the low activity and mathematics learning outcomes of Binjai 14 Public Middle School students in the matter of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPDLV). The recipients of the action were class VIII 2 students at SMP Negeri 14 Binjai with a total of 32 students. The data collection technique for this action was carried out in a qualitative descriptive way through the cycle stages with two rounds where each round consisted of two meetings. The results of this study are increased activity and student learning outcomes by using the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type. From the results of the initial test data obtained 28 students (87,5%) of 32 students with an average of 50,29%. The results of data analysis in cycle I after the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type showed that the number of students who achieved mastery learning was 25 students (78,12%) out of 32 students with a class average of 75%. In cycle II, 28 students (87,5%) achieved a mastery level with a class average of 80,79%. There was an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Likewise with student activities while learning took place in cycle I, the number of students who had a percentage of activity ≥ 70% classically was 2 students (6.25%) of 32 students and at the end of cycle II it increased to 28 students (87,5%). The classical increase in activity from cycle I to cycle II was 30%. So this study concluded that through the TGT learning model it can increase students' activity and learning outcomes in mathematics.

The low students' avarage number of mathematical critical thinking skills in class VIII SMPN 1 Candung ranged from 82.14% to 89.29%. To overcome this problem, researchers tried to conduct research by applying the EXO OLO TASK learning model in learning mathematics. This type of research is pre-experimental research with the research design The Static Group Comparison Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Cawang. The samples in this study were students of class VIII.2 as the experimental class and VIII.1 as the control class. The instrument in this study was a test of students' mathematical critical thinking skills in the form of an essay test. The results of the study using the t-test obtained t_count=1.92 > t_table=1.674, so H0 was rejected. For Minitab software testing at a significant level of a = 0.05, Pvalue = 0.002 is obtained, meaning Pvalue <a, so H0 is also rejected. So it can be concluded that students' mathematical critical thinking skills using the EXO OLO TASK learning model are better than students' mathematical critical thinking abilities using conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 1 Cdungung.

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the analysis of improving students' mathematical communication skills with Realistic Mathematics Education approach. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research using the library research method. The subject of this research is the most published articles in published journals about mathematical communication skills through Realistic Mathematics Education approach to junior high school students. Based on the findings from 5 journals, it was found that students' mathematical communication improved better in students who studied with Realistic Mathematics Education approach compared to students who studied with conventional learning. Realistic Mathematics Education approach can improve students' ability to describe, understand, and represent mathematical ideas contained in pictures, tables or diagrams. So, Realistic Mathematics Education approach is one approach that can improve students' mathematical communication skills at the junior high school level with effect size score of 1,158 in the large effect category.

The research method used in this study is the research and development method or also called Research and Development. The research design that will be developed in this study uses the development model presented by Borgan Gall. The product produced in this study is an Arduino Nano-Based Distance Measuring Tool with a Display on the LCD on the Flat Side Room Building Material for Class VIII at SMP Negeri 5 Sepauk. The test subjects of this study included two subjects. The first subject is the validator and the second is class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Sepauk. The analysis technique used is to determine the effectiveness, practicality, and validity. The percentage of effectiveness from the average of the two analyzes obtained a percentage value of 94.06% with Very Effective criteria used in learning mathematics. The results of the combined teacher and student response questionnaires - the average percentage obtained was 89.55% with very practical criteria. The combined results of the average percentage obtained from the percentage of experts and the results of the measurement trials obtained a percentage of 76,36% with very valid criteria.
