Christ is the head of the church because believers believe in Christ. In His plan to give eternal life, Christ played a role in the establishment and growth of His church to the present day so that the doctrine of the person of Jesus or Christology became very important to Christians. A healthy church is one that grows according to His will and grows toward Him. Christ's work for today's church makes it experience a consistent dynamic of growth. Christ's presence in the church is His activeness in expressing his function and duty to the church as His own people. In Christ's role for His church, it shows Christ's relationship with the church itself.

AbstractThe Christian home is like a vast ocean to be crossed. On the journey across the vast ocean, sometimes you will experience calm, but often it will be turbulent, through typhoons, filled withrocks and icebergs. However, many arks of Christian households are sunk or divorced because ofhitting rocks or complicated problems, and innocent children remain as victims. This happensbecause of the lack of preparation that is carried out before entering the household or also becauseof the lack of preparation that is carried out before entering the household or also because of a lackof vigilance in living a household life, it is necessary to provide God's providence in the household. Therefore, the author uses an inductive method in the form of literary studies as the theologicalbasis for God's providence in marriage for the happiness of Christian households

The state of Christ’s humiliation and exaltation represents two essential aspects of Christology, illustrating His journey from incarnation to ascension. Christ’s humiliation includes His humble birth, a life of suffering, and His death on the cross. In contrast, His exaltation encompasses His resurrection, ascension to heaven, and reign as the sovereign King over all creation. This study aims to analyze the theological significance of Christ’s humiliation and exaltation and their relevance to the lives of believers. This research employs a qualitative approach using the library research method, where primary data sources are drawn from biblical texts and Christian theological literature. The findings reveal that Christ’s humiliation is an act of obedience to God the Father and a means of human redemption, while His exaltation serves as evidence of victory over sin and death and the fulfillment of God’s plan of salvation. Furthermore, this study affirms that the relationship between Christ’s humiliation and exaltation has implications for the faith of believers, providing hope for future glory with Christ and calling them to live in obedience and perseverance amid suffering.

The Protestant Reformation had a significant impact on the development of Christian theology, especially in the field of Christology. This study aims to examine the thoughts of Martin Luther and John Calvin regarding the role of Christ in the process of human salvation. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study technique, which examines the theological works of the two Reformers. The results of the study show that Luther emphasized the personal relationship between humans and Christ as savings, as well as the real presence of Christ in the sacrament as a form of God's grace that can be experienced personally. Meanwhile, Calvin developed the concept of three placements of Christ as prophet, priest, and king which emphasized the overall role of Christ in salvation, and viewed the sacrament as a spiritual means to strengthen the faith of believers. Through this study, it can be concluded that Christology in the Reformation tradition provides a strong, systematic, and relevant theological basis for the development of contemporary Protestant teachings, both in doctrinal aspects and the practice of life of faith.

Behavior that reasoned deceitfulness often occurs in today's leadership, using unconventional ways to rise and replace previous leadership positions. In the theological study of 2 Samuel 15: 1-12, there is a historical story about how a king's son wanted to coup his parents' leadership deceitfully, namely the black campaign. Apologetics as a branch of Theology is based on the main purpose that is to bring people to maturity and spread the Gospel. Reading the Bible in a holistic way, apologetics has been executed since the very beginning of the world’s existance and apologetics was started by God Himself when He answered those who opposed Him. Appologetics has continued to the first church and up to now when proofing the truth of the Christian belief during evangelisation and even as an act of counselling. The connection between apologetics and evangelisation is quite close, as apologetics try to answer the questionings of the Chritian beliefs, which could be a direct act of evangelisation. Wilbur Smit wrote “a spoken or written accountability of what we are doing or the Truth we are believing”. Wilbur Smit believes that being accountable is part of our conviction. Very fundamental as an apologetic is that he should have a deep conviction and sanctifies Christ in his life. This is a key factor, because the presuppostion here is that the Jesus Christ is Lord of the thoughts of an apologetic. The apologetic arguments should be towards the Lordship of Jesus Christ and wisdom of God and founded on the fear of the Lord. Foolishnes of unbelief is not to be exposed for apologetic is as neutral as other human activity. Any apologetic argument should have the Truth of God as the presupposition.

Sola fide is the main Reformed teaching that salvation is only obtained through faith alone, not through charity or good deeds. in the 16th century the practice of indulgences and the Catholic church's emphasis on good works gave rise to doubts in the faith, which later gave rise to the Reform Movement. In response, the reformers restored the principle of sola fide to protect believers in the Lord Jesus from doubts about their Faith. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of sola fide in strengthening believers' faith before reform skepticism, through a literature review of the writings of reformer figures. The results show that emphasizing God's sovereign grace, the sufficiency of faith for forgiveness of sins and assurance of salvation, and sola fide can strengthen believers' faith against attacks of skepticism. This understanding provides important insight for believers today about how to strengthen their faith in the face of increasing skepticism.
