This study aimed to design the visual identity of the social campaign FLOW (Find Lights Over Wounds) to promote early awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among Generation Z. A mixed method approach was applied to explore perceptions, knowledge, and the need for empathetic and communicative educational media. Data were collected through online questionnaires from 108 respondents and in-depth interviews with psychologists, psychiatrists, and PTSD survivors. The findings indicated that Generation Z required visual media that conveyed mental health messages safely and meaningfully. The FLOW logo was developed through brainstorming, sketching, and expert validation, featuring a heart and hands symbolizing empathy and healing. Soft blue, pink, and pastel yellow colors were used to create a calm, warm, and hopeful impression. The campaign effectively fostered emotional awareness and encouraged help-seeking behavior among young audiences.

Tax fairness has become a central concern in improving individual taxpayer compliance in Indonesia, particularly amid increasingly complex regulations and declining public trust in fiscal institutions. This study stems from the urgent need to understand how individual taxpayers interpret the notion of tax fairness and how these interpretations shape their willingness to comply. The primary objective is to explore the underlying dimensions of tax fairness procedural, distributive, and interactional and to explain how these dimensions relate to the development of voluntary compliance. Employing an interpretive qualitative approach, this research relies on in-depth interviews with 15 individual taxpayers located in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Medan, selected through purposive sampling. The data were examined using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) to uncover recurring themes and the subjective experiences shared by participants. Findings reveal that perceptions of procedural and interactional fairness exert the strongest influence on compliance behavior, while distributive fairness is often viewed negatively due to perceived inequality in public benefit allocation and the complexity of tax rules. Trust in government and social morality emerge as critical mediators linking fairness perceptions to voluntary compliance. The study contributes theoretically by integrating Equity Theory, Tax Morale Theory, and the Slippery Slope Framework within the Indonesian cultural context, emphasizing that tax fairness forms the moral foundation of voluntary compliance. Practical implications highlight the need for equitable public services, stronger fiscal transparency, and value-based tax education. Future research is encouraged to adopt mixed-methods designs to provide deeper quantitative insights into the relationship between fairness, trust, and tax compliance across diverse social settings.

Data security in web services is a critical aspect that must be considered to prevent information leakage and unauthorized access. This study aims to analyze the security level of the Universitas Andalas Repository site, specifically regarding its vulnerability to sniffing attacks due to the use of the unencrypted HTTP protocol. The research employs a penetration testing method with an experimental approach. The testing process is carried out in three main stages: reconnaissance using Nmap to identify the services and protocols in use, sniffing using Wireshark to capture and analyze data packets, and evaluation of results based on modern web security standards to assess the level of risks found. The results of the study indicate that the Universitas Andalas Repository site still uses the HTTP protocol in its communication process, meaning that all data transmitted between the client and server can be read in plaintext. The Nmap scan results confirm that the web service operates on port 80 without SSL/TLS encryption support. Meanwhile, the packet analysis results using Wireshark show that both HTTP requests and responses can be captured and directly observed, including request parameters, cookies, and other potentially sensitive information. These findings suggest that the site has significant vulnerabilities to sniffing attacks and man-in-the-middle attacks, posing a potential risk to user data security.

This study examines the effectiveness of digital storytelling in enhancing the speaking skills of secondary EFL learners. The research responds to persistent challenges in speaking instruction, particularly students’ limited fluency, low confidence, and insufficient exposure to meaningful communicative tasks. Using a mixed methods design, the study involved an eight week intervention in which students created scripted digital stories through narration, multimedia editing, and collaborative production. Quantitative data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments measuring fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and coherence, while qualitative data were obtained through observations, interviews, and student reflections. The findings reveal substantial improvements in speaking performance, especially in fluency and coherence, accompanied by increased engagement, reduced speaking anxiety, and heightened self awareness during the storytelling process. These results highlight that digital storytelling provides repeated oral practice and authentic communicative opportunities that support learners’ linguistic and affective development. The study offers implications for English teachers and curriculum designers by demonstrating that technology supported narrative tasks can be integrated into regular instruction to foster more interactive, creative, and student centered speaking learning environments.

This community service program aims to describe the implementation and impact of “Persekutuan Hamba Tuhan,” a diaconal initiative conducted by GBI Jemaat Kasih Surabaya to support 80 pastors serving in small congregations around the M3 area of Surabaya. The background of the program stems from ongoing socioeconomic challenges affecting church ministers in the post-pandemic period, particularly those serving in churches with limited resources and unstable financial support. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation of the program activities, documentation of the distribution process, and testimonies from both recipients and church members. The results show three major outcomes. First, the distribution of food packages and basic daily necessities significantly reduced the economic burden of the participating pastors, providing a sense of relief and stability for their households. Second, the program strengthened congregational solidarity, as more than fifty church members actively engaged in fundraising, packaging, and direct service, building a stronger culture of compassion and shared responsibility. Third, the fellowship activities—consisting of worship, preaching, prayer, and personal encouragement—provided emotional and spiritual strengthening that renewed the pastors’ motivation and confidence in their ministry. Overall, this program demonstrates that integrated diaconal service combining material aid, spiritual encouragement, and relational support can offer meaningful impact for vulnerable church ministers. The findings also highlight the potential of this model to be replicated in other church settings as a holistic, community-based ministry approach. It is recommended that future programs expand coverage, incorporate long-term follow-up, and explore empowerment components to enhance sustainable impact.

The dominance of the political party elite (oligarchy) in Indonesia's representative democracy system has shifted the meaning and implementation of the constituent recall doctrine. Although Article 1 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution affirms that sovereignty resides with the people, in practice the recall mechanism is not a constituent right, but rather the exclusive authority of political parties. This study uses a normative legal method with a legislative, conceptual, and comparative approach. The research data was obtained from primary legal materials (the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 2 of 2008 concerning Political Parties, Law Number 2 of 2011 on Amendments to Law Number 2 of 2008 on Political Parties, Law Number 7 of 2017 on General Elections,  Law Number 17 of 2014 on the MPR, DPR, DPD, DPRD (MD3), as well as secondary legal materials in the form of books, scientific journals, and opinions of constitutional law experts. The results of the study show conceptual reduction, namely the transfer of the people's right to revoke the mandate of their representatives to the parties, and categorical reduction, namely the narrowing of the function of recall to an internal party disciplinary tool. The applicable regulations, particularly MD3 Law, give excessive privileges to political parties, thereby severing the substantive relationship between representatives and constituents. This study proposes a participatory and accountable constituent recall   model, with the right of initiative in the hands of the people through public petitions, verification by an independent institution, and a final decision through a real election.

This study examines the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) in enhancing students’ understanding of moral values in Islamic Religious Education at the tenth grade of MA Yapina. The research is motivated by the urgent need to strengthen character education through learning experiences that are meaningful, contextual, and aligned with the challenges of contemporary moral degradation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzes learning activities, instructional documents, and students’ project outputs to explore how PjBL shapes their comprehension of akhlak as both knowledge and practiced behavior. Findings indicate that PjBL encourages active participation, collaboration, creativity, and reflective thinking, enabling students to interpret moral values through real-life situations and group-based problem solving. Projects assigned to students, such as posters, videos, and thematic presentations, foster deeper understanding because they require the integration of moral concepts into practical tasks. The role of the teacher as a facilitator further supports the learning process by guiding students in inquiry and project management. Despite challenges such as variation in student discipline and time constraints, the overall implementation of PjBL demonstrates positive effects on students’ cognitive and affective grasp of moral values. This study underscores the relevance of PjBL as an innovative pedagogical model for Islamic Religious Education and highlights its potential for strengthening character formation in madrasah settings. It also suggests the need for further research involving direct classroom observations and interviews to enrich empirical evidence on the long-term impact of PjBL on student character development.

The culture produced in the cultural industry has shifted from merely possessing artistic value to prioritizing economic value. One strategic element that can be utilized to support the development of the cultural industry is the organization of events. Event management plays a strategic role in the cultural industry, ensuring the successful transformation of cultural ideas into real experiences that have economic value while strengthening social meaning. Cultural events often serve as platforms to showcase local cultural heritage, traditions, and creativity to a wider audience, both domestically and internationally. This study examines the influence of the event on enhancing perceptions of the cultural sector using a quantitative methodology. The sample used in this study was 70 respondents. Data collection was carried out by asking respondents to complete a questionnaire relating to their experience attending the cultural event and their assessment of the image as a cultural tourism destination. SPSS was used to examine the information collected from the questionnaire. The results show that the Event variable has a significant influence on the Cognitive Image (CK), Affective Image (CA), and Overall Image (CO) of the destination. The t-test shows that the relationship between Event and the three image dimensions has a p-value <0.05, which indicates a strong and significant influence. Events designed with informative, emotional, and interactive aspects in mind will significantly contribute to the formation of the overall image. In a practical context, the implication is that event organizers need to ensure the quality of the holistic experience to continuously strengthen the overall image.

This study explores the use of art and cultural practices as a means to instill Islamic values in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education. The background of this research arises from the challenges faced by Islamic education in the era of globalization, particularly the declining interest of students in Islamic-oriented activities and the strong influence of popular culture. Using a descriptive qualitative approach by reviewing relevant literature, the study finds that various forms of Islamic art such as nasheed, hadrah, calligraphy, and Islamic-themed drama can help students understand and appreciate religious values in a more engaging and meaningful way. These artistic activities serve as a bridge between Islamic teachings and everyday life, allowing values such as good character, piety, and love for the Qur’an to be internalized more effectively. However, the implementation still encounters several obstacles, including limited teacher competence and insufficient curriculum support. The study concludes that strengthening collaboration with the community, utilizing digital technology, and developing extracurricular programs are important steps to reinforce the application of Islamic values through art and cultural approaches within educational settings.

Content commodification has become a dominant phenomenon within Indonesia’s digital ecosystem, where communication messages are no longer oriented toward use value such as education and enlightenment, but toward exchange value determined by algorithms, virality, and monetization potential. This transformation is evident in the behavior of content creators, online media, politicians, and government institutions that adjust their message formats to align with the logic of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Political content during the 2024 Election, clickbait practices in online journalism, and the aestheticization of public campaigns such as Bangga Buatan Indonesia(BBI) and Gerakan Kamis Pakai Lokal (GASPOL) demonstrate that content today is produced primarily to capture attention rather than to strengthen social literacy. Using a constructivist paradigm and a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzes how exchange value dominates meaning-making processes in digital spaces. Through the lenses of media political economy, cultural industries, and surveillance capitalism, the study shows that content commodification shifts the function of communication from a deliberative public sphere to a commercial arena governed by algorithms. These findings highlight the urgent need for digital literacy and communication ethics to safeguard the social role of media in Indonesia.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the learning patterns of Generation Z, who tend to be visual, quick in accessing information, and highly engaged with interactive media. These characteristics pose challenges for history learning, which is often perceived as monotonous and focused on memorization. This study aims to examine the needs, urgency, and strategies for developing history teaching materials that are relevant and effective for Generation Z in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through library research, the findings indicate that effective history materials should integrate digital media, apply active learning models, and connect historical content with students’ real-life experiences. Teachers play a key role as innovators by utilizing digital storytelling, virtual tours, gallery walks, and gamification. Integrating local history and national values is also essential to strengthen students’ national identity. This study emphasizes that developing digital history teaching materials is not merely about adopting technology but about creating meaningful, reflective, and generation-appropriate learning experiences.

This study presents a woodcraft creation in the form of a wall clock with traditional Karo ornaments as the main visual element. The creation is driven by the urgency to preserve the visual culture of the Karo people, which is increasingly threatened by modernization, and the lack of distinctive local souvenirs in tourist areas such as Berastagi, which often offer only generic or mass-produced items. This creation aims not only to function as an indicator of time but also as a medium for cultural preservation, education, and the strengthening of the Karo visual identity in a contemporary context. The creative process applies the "three stages and six steps" approach by S.P. Gustami, which includes exploration, design, and realization. Exploration involves field observations of Karo architecture and artifacts, literary studies on Karo visual symbols, and careful selection of motifs, focusing on Tapak Raja Sulaiman, Takal Kerbo, and Pengeret-ret as representative elements rich in symbolic meaning. The design stage produces various sketches that integrate the functional aspect of the wall clock with the principles of ornamentation, ensuring both utility and cultural expression. Realization involves selecting local woods such as teak, mahogany, and jelutung, followed by manual carving techniques, the application of natural wood coloring, and protective finishing with melamine spray to ensure durability and aesthetic quality. The final result consists of twelve unique wall clocks that embody the aesthetic, symbolic, and cultural richness of the Karo people. This work demonstrates how traditional motifs can be re-contextualized into functional objects, making cultural heritage more visible and relevant in daily life, and is expected to inspire further innovation in the local crafts industry, contributing to long-term preservation and revitalization of regional cultural identity.
