This study discusses the analysis of the account opening procedure for E-mas Savings through the digital platform BYOND by Bank Syariah Indonesia. The selection of this topic is motivated by the development of digital services in Islamic banking and the increasing public interest in gold investment products based on sharia principles. The purpose of this study is to identify the procedure for opening an E-mas Savings account and to examine its compliance with sharia accounting principles and DSN-MUI Fatwas. This research was conducted at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Tegal Sutoyo using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach to obtain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of digital-based E-mas Savings services. The focus of the research was directed toward the stages of the account opening procedure, transaction mechanisms, and the application of sharia principles in digital banking services. The results indicate that the procedure for opening an E-mas Savings account has been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations and sharia principles, although there are still obstacles related to the uneven level of customer understanding regarding digital service mechanisms. In addition, the implementation of digital services through BYOND by BSI is considered capable of providing convenience, efficiency, and flexibility for customers in conducting gold investments without having to visit bank branches directly. Therefore, increased education and socialization for customers are needed so that the utilization of E-mas Savings can run more optimally and enhance public trust in digital-based sharia investment products.

Human Trafficking (TPPO) has undergone a significant transformation in its modus operandi alongside the massive use of information technology, giving rise to the phenomenon of cyber-recruitment within the online scam industry. This study aims to analyze the juridical construction of the criminal elements in the cyber-recruitment modus operandi based on Law Number 21 of 2007, and to evaluate the potential disharmony of norms between the TPPO regulation and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) regarding the regulation of digital evidence. The research method employed is normative legal research with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results indicate that, dogmatically, the elements of TPPO—comprising the process of virtual recruitment, the means of fraudulent job promises, and the purpose of digital forced labor exploitation—under Law No. 21 of 2007 remain relevant for prosecuting cyber-recruitment perpetrators, although it demands a broader legal interpretation of cyberspace realities. However, legal certainty issues were found due to the lack of synchronicity in the regulation of digital evidence, where differences in procedures and qualifications exist between electronic evidence in the TPPO Law and the evidentiary standards in the UU ITE, which are volatile in nature. The implications of this research conclude the need for regulatory synchronization through the establishment of technical guidelines for handling TPPO-specific electronic evidence to provide a solid legal foundation for law enforcement agencies. This step is crucial to overcome cross-border jurisdictional obstacles and to ensure substantive justice and comprehensive protection of victims' rights in the digital era.

The digital era has fundamentally transformed the market landscape, requiring e-commerce platforms to understand the determinants of consumer behavior. This study aims to analyze the role of E-commerce Trust as a mediating variable in the relationship between Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Enjoyment on Purchase Intention. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from 326 active users of the Lazada platform in Central Java. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results show that the three main factors ease, usefulness, and enjoyment have a positive and significant influence on Brand Trust and consumer Purchase Intention directly. Furthermore, it was found that E-commerce Trust acts as a crucial mediator that strengthens Purchase Intention through positive user experience. Theoretically, this study strengthens the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework and the context of Cross-Border E-commerce (CBEC) in the digital retail industry. Practically, these findings emphasize the importance of optimizing platform features to enhance transaction convenience and security and build long-term loyalty. The research's implications suggest that platform managers should focus on both aesthetics and functionality to create a credible and enjoyable digital shopping ecosystem for consumers in developing regions.

The coffee shop industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth that requires business owners to optimize data-driven strategies. This study aims to analyze customer preferences at Semanis Coffee and Resto using data mining methods  to support more effective business decision-making. The method used is Market Basket Analysis with the FP-Growth algorithm for association rule mining and the K-Means algorithm for customer segmentation. The research data consists of 672 sales transactions during the March-May 2025 period. The results of the association analysis with a minimum support of 0.004 and a minimum confidence of 0.2 resulted in five valid rules with a lift ratio above 1. The strongest rule is the combination of Americano→Milk Choco with a confidence of 42.9% and an elevator ratio of 5.229, indicating a strong linkage between products. The most popular products are Milk Choco (10.8%) and Americano (8.5%). Customer segmentation analysis identified three clusters: Cluster 0 (Loyal Customers) 80% with high frequency but low transaction value; Cluster 1 (Occasional Customers) 10% with low activity; and Cluster 2 (Large Buyers) 10% with high transaction value but low frequency. This study concludes that product bundling strategies, loyalty programs, reactivation campaigns, and premium services can be applied to increase the effectiveness of coffee shop businesses.

This study focuses on the elements of gharar (uncertainty), tadlis (fraud), and breach of contract in examining multiple transactions of a single land object from the standpoint of Islamic economic law. The rising frequency of disagreements over land purchases and sales brought on by the same seller engaging in overlapping transactions, unclear ownership status, and a lack of transparency has prompted this research. This study aims to investigate the effects of these activities on Indonesian positive law and Islamic economic law. This case study employed an empirical legal approach and was carried out in Grogol Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation by the buyer, seller, and local authorities. The findings indicate that due to unclear land boundaries and ownership status, the transaction contained significant elements of gharar and tadlis because the seller concealed important information about the previous transaction. Furthermore, the seller's failure to fulfill obligations stipulated in the contract constitutes a breach of contract under positive law. This study demonstrates that these practices not only violate legal regulations but also contradict the principles of Islamic economic law such as justice, transparency, and good faith. According to this study, legal awareness, administrative accuracy, and institutional oversight are vital to prevent such issues in the future.

The transformation of payment systems from cash to digital through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is part of financial transaction modernization in Indonesia. This transformation has begun among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Baduy community, particularly in Baduy Luar, which has higher interaction with external communities. However, the adoption of digital payment systems has not been fully supported by adequate financial management capabilities. This community service activity aims to identify the transformation process of payment systems and describe the financial literacy conditions of Baduy MSMEs. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that some MSMEs have adopted QRIS through Bank BRI as an alternative payment method alongside cash and have utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing. The main sources of income include handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, financial management practices remain simple and lack systematic recording. This indicates improved financial inclusion but not yet accompanied by adequate financial behavior. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is essential to support sustainable financial modernization in the Baduy community.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Qirâat (variant Qur’anic readings) on the interpretation of legal verses in Adhwâ’ al-Bayân by Muhammad al-Amîn al-Syinqîthi. Employing a qualitative library research approach, this study examines how both mutawâtir and syâdz Qirâat contribute to the process of Islamic legal deduction (istinbâth). The findings reveal that Qirâat function not merely as linguistic variations but also have significant implications for expanding, reinforcing, and providing flexibility in legal meanings across various domains, including worship (ibadah), family law (munâkahât), transactions (mu‘âmalah), and jihad. Al-Syinqîthi integrates linguistic analysis, textual evidence, and the objectives of Islamic law (maqâṣid al-syarî‘ah) in a comprehensive manner, enabling him to accommodate different Qirâat without generating legal contradictions. Mutawâtir Qirâat serve as the primary foundation for legal rulings, while syâdz Qirâat function as complementary and supportive arguments. This study concludes that the diversity of Qirâat constitutes an integral component of Qur’anic exegesis and Islamic jurisprudence, contributing to the development of a flexible, contextual, and relevant Islamic legal framework.

Freedom of expression is one of the fundamental rights that serves as the primary foundation of modern democratic systems. This right is not only recognized in international legal instruments such as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) Article 19, but is also explicitly guaranteed in the constitutions of democratic states, including Article 28E paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the position of freedom of expression as an essential pillar of democracy within the human rights framework, examine constitutional protection mechanisms and applicable limitations, and evaluate its implementation in the Indonesian legal system. The research method employed is normative legal research with a statute approach, conceptual approach, and comparative approach. The findings indicate that freedom of expression is not merely an individual right, but a collective instrument that enables meaningful public participation in democratic processes. Restrictions on this freedom must fulfill the requirements of legality, necessity, and proportionality as established by the Siracusa Principles. In Indonesia, the primary challenge lies in regulatory plurality that potentially creates overlapping provisions and the risk of criminalizing legitimate expression, particularly through the implementation of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE).

This study investigates the influence of drug availability, location, and service quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Toko Obat Zahwa Batam. The phenomenon underlying this research is a significant decline of 23.3% in transactions at Toko Obat Zahwa over three years (2022–2024). A quantitative approach with survey method was employed, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS 26. The results indicate that drug availability has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (t = 5.390; sig. = .000), service quality has a positive and significant effect (t = 4.700; sig. = .000), while location does not significantly influence purchasing decisions (t = –0.556; sig. = .579). Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affect purchasing decisions (F = 38.203; sig. = .000) and explain 53.0% of the variance (Adjusted R² = .530). The dominant influence of drug availability confirms the need-driven nature of pharmaceutical retail purchases, while the non-significant effect of location reflects habitual buying behavior among loyal consumers. These findings provide practical implications for independent drug store management in competitive markets.

The development of digital platforms such as TikTok has encouraged the emergence of affiliate-based marketing practices in e-commerce activities. Affiliate marketing is a digital marketing system that promotes another person's product or service through a special affiliate link and earns a commission if a purchase or transaction is made through that affiliate link. Product promotion content has become one of the most effective marketing methods in the digital world. However, in practice, there are cases where affiliates reuse video content belonging to creators for promotional purposes and to earn sales commissions without permission. This study aims to analyze the provisions of digital video copyright protection under Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright and to examine forms of copyright infringement in the use of TikTok videos by affiliates. The method used is a normative study, employing a legal approach, a conceptual approach, and factual analysis. Primary and secondary legal materials were used in this study, which was analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the study show that TikTok videos fall under the category of cinematographic works that are protected as stipulated in Article 40 paragraph (1) letter m of the Copyright Law. Copyright protection arises automatically based on the declarative principle since the creation is realized in a tangible form, covering moral and economic rights. The use of TikTok videos by affiliates for promotional purposes and to earn sales commissions constitutes commercial use which, if done without the creator's permission, violates the creator's economic rights as stipulated in Article 9 paragraph (3) and potentially violates moral rights under Article 5 of the Copyright Law.

In social practice, land sale and purchase transactions are still frequently conducted through private agreements, mainly driven by mutual trust between the parties, cost considerations, and the perception that such procedures are simpler and faster. From the perspective of civil law, such sale and purchase agreements remain valid and legally binding as long as they fulfill the legal requirements of a valid contract as stipulated in Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code. However, within the national land law system, land sale and purchase agreements executed under private deeds cannot serve as a legal basis for the transfer of land rights because they are not made before a Land Deed Official (Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah/PPAT) as required by statutory regulations. This divergence in legal regulation gives rise to legal uncertainty, particularly for buyers acting in good faith. On the one hand, the agreement creates rights and obligations under civil law; on the other hand, it fails to provide legal certainty over land rights due to its inability to be registered. This condition reflects a tension between the civil law regime and the land law regime, while also indicating the weak legal protection afforded to good-faith buyers. These issues constitute the basis and urgency of this research.

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed financial transaction systems, including the use of securities. Conventional securities, which traditionally function as instruments of payment, evidence, and transfer of rights, face various challenges such as document forgery, loss, and administrative inefficiency. These conditions have encouraged the digitalization of securities, requiring adjustments within the Indonesian legal framework. This study aims to analyze the transformation of securities from conventional forms to digital formats within the perspective of Indonesian law and to assess the adequacy of existing regulations in addressing such developments. The research employs a normative juridical approach by examining primary legal materials in the form of statutory regulations and secondary legal materials consisting of legal literature and previous studies. The findings indicate that although electronic documents have been legally recognized as valid evidence, there is no specific and comprehensive regulation governing digital securities. Consequently, legal uncertainty remains regarding the transfer of rights, evidentiary strength, and legal protection for holders of digital securities. This study is expected to contribute conceptually to the development of adaptive legal regulations that ensure legal certainty and protection in the context of modern digital transactions.

The development of financial technology has driven significant transformations in the non-cash payment system in Indonesia, one of which is through the use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). The use of QRIS in civil transactions relates not only to the technical aspects of payments but also has legal implications in the civil realm, particularly regarding the application of the principle of consensualism and the status of electronic evidence in the Indonesian civil procedural law system. This study aims to analyze the application of the principle of consensualism in QRIS e-payment transactions as electronic evidence in civil procedural law. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results indicate that QRIS transactions meet the principle of consensualism due to the agreement of the parties, and QRIS can be qualified as a valid electronic document as long as it meets the requirements for electronic system reliability and information integrity as stipulated in laws and regulations. However, the evidentiary power of QRIS is not perfect and requires the support of other evidence, with the final assessment resting with the judge based on the principle of independent evidence in civil procedural law.

Diaspora remittances are a major and relatively stable external financing source for underdeveloped and developing countries, often surpassing aid and foreign direct investment. Drawing on a narrative review of recent empirical studies, meta-analyses, and country cases, this paper examines how remittances contribute to sustainable finance by affecting economic growth, poverty and inequality, financial inclusion, and environmental outcomes. The evidence shows that remittances generally reduce poverty and enhance financial inclusion, while their growth and environmental impacts are heterogeneous and depend on factors such as financial development, human capital, and institutional quality. The paper argues that targeted policies lowering transaction costs, strengthening and digitizing financial systems, and designing instruments to channel remittances into productive and green investments are essential to fully integrating remittances into national sustainable finance and development strategies.

The development of financial technology has led to the emergence of cryptocurrency as a decentralized digital instrument that enables fast and cross-border financial transactions. While this technology offers efficiency and flexibility in digital financial activities, it also creates opportunities for misuse in various forms of crime, including terrorist financing. This study aims to analyze the use of cryptocurrency as a means of financing terrorist activities in Indonesia, examine the existing legal framework governing terrorist financing, and identify the challenges faced in law enforcement. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and case study approaches. The findings indicate that the use of cryptocurrency as a medium for terrorist financing still fulfills the elements of a criminal offense as regulated under Law Number 9 of 2013 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Terrorism Financing. However, the characteristics of cryptocurrency, such as anonymity, decentralization, and cross-border transactions, create significant challenges in the processes of evidence gathering, transaction tracing, and identification of perpetrators. In addition, there is a regulatory gap between the recognition of crypto assets as economic commodities and the supervision of their potential misuse for terrorist financing. Therefore, stronger regulations are needed to explicitly integrate crypto assets into the terrorist financing prevention regime, along with improving the capacity of law enforcement agencies in blockchain transaction analysis and strengthening international cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement in the digital economy era.

This study aims to analyze e-commerce strategies in selecting applicable law and jurisdiction to avoid conflicts of jurisdiction in cross-border transactions. This study employs a normative legal method using legislative, conceptual, and comparative approaches to analyze the selection of applicable law and jurisdiction in cross-border e-commerce transactions. The data used consists of primary and secondary legal materials collected through a literature review. The analysis was conducted qualitatively using descriptive-analytical and legal interpretation methods, as well as deductive reasoning to formulate strategies for minimizing jurisdictional conflicts. The research findings indicate that the application of the principle of freedom of contract, combined with international instruments and digital technology, can serve as an effective strategy for e-commerce actors to minimize jurisdictional conflicts and litigation risks. This strategy not only provides legal protection, particularly for SMEs, but also enhances the trust of global partners and competitiveness in the international market through the use of clear contract clauses, hybrid forums, and technological support such as blockchain and ODR.

Advances in information technology have brought significant changes to how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) conduct their business operations, particularly in the areas of marketing and sales. However, Stretto Pizza MSME still relies on manual processes for ordering and transaction recording, which results in limited marketing reach, suboptimal data management, and an increased risk of errors in recording. This study aims to develop a web-based e-commerce information system that can integrate sales processes and data management more effectively. System development was conducted using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was built using the PHP programming language with MySQL database support. System testing was performed using the Black-Box Testing method to ensure that every feature functions according to user needs. The research results show that the designed system is capable of supporting product ordering processes, customer data management, sales transactions, and report generation more efficiently. With this system, it is hoped that the Stretto Piza SME can improve its operations while expanding its marketing reach through the use of digital technology.
