This study examines the implementation of deep learning integrated with Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Fiqh subjects at MAS Al-Mashuriyah Pagelaran Cianjur. Using a descriptive qualitative design, data were gathered through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation across six instructional meetings in grades XI and XII. The results show that the combination of deep learning and PBL substantially increases students’ active participation and encourages them to think more critically, especially when studying purification (thaharah) materials. Through group discussions, case-based problems, and guided exploration of Islamic legal sources, students were able to connect theoretical concepts to everyday religious practices. This approach allowed learning to shift from memorization toward deeper conceptual understanding and contextual application. The teacher served primarily as a facilitator, providing direction and scaffolding while giving students space to analyze, argue, and draw conclusions independently. Overall, the findings indicate that integrating deep learning with PBL is an effective pedagogical strategy for enhancing the quality of Fiqh learning at the madrasah level, as it not only improves comprehension but also fosters analytical thinking, collaboration, and the ability to apply Islamic legal principles in practical situations.

The current education system is facing a crucial dilemma: the intensifying focus on cognitive achievement amidst the specific challenges faced by Generation Z. Junior high school students aged 12–15, who are digital natives, are at risk of reduced social interaction and mental health issues due to high screen time. Addressing this urgency, this study aims to describe the strategic role of dance arts education in shaping character and creativity, and to identify implementation solutions at SMP Negeri 1 Wonogiri. This descriptive qualitative study utilized 8 students active in dance as primary subjects, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that dance arts, through an embodied learning approach based on physical movement, is highly effective in cultivating character. Values such as discipline, which is transferred from the punctuality required in practice to general school life , collective responsibility , and self-confidence that overcomes social awkwardness, grew significantly. Furthermore, dance reinforces authentic cooperation and cultural appreciation. In terms of creativity, the activity encourages movement exploration, improvisation, and creative problem-solving. Psychologically, dance practice functions as a positive coping mechanism that effectively lowers adolescent stress levels. Although constraints exist, such as limited instructional time (80 minutes per week) , adaptive solutions like strengthening extracurricular activities and the peer tutoring system are being implemented. This research concludes that dance arts education is an essential and strategic medium for developing holistic competencies, including the 4Cs (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication) and the Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

This article analyzes language errors in essays written by high school students and published on the Mojok.co website in the March 2025 edition. It employs a descriptive qualitative approach with purposive sampling. Five essays were selected based on topic relevance and language difficulty levels appropriate for high school students. The analysis reveals language errors in four main categories: spelling, grammar, diction, and punctuation. Spelling errors are the most frequent, involving incorrect word forms that deviate from standard Indonesian spelling conventions, such as improper capitalization and the use of numerals where they are inappropriate. Grammar errors include issues in sentence structure, particularly in the incorrect placement of subjects and predicates. Diction errors often involve the use of inaccurate or informal vocabulary, while punctuation errors are evident in the misuse or misplacement of commas and periods. These findings suggest that students’ language proficiency in essay writing still requires improvement. To enhance their skills, the following recommendations are proposed: increasing students’ understanding of spelling, grammar, diction, and punctuation based on the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling; providing structured and continuous writing practice; incorporating technology such as spell checkers and grammar tools; and fostering an understanding of language variations, especially the differences between spoken and written language. Improving students’ writing skills is essential, as language errors can impede effective communication and undermine a writer’s credibility. This article aims to serve as a reference for both teachers and students in recognizing common writing errors and enhancing the overall quality of student essays.

This research is motivated by the potential of the waters of South Palabusa, Buton, as an ideal habitat for pearl oyster cultivation. This region has ecological advantages that can support the growth of oysters producing high-value pearls. However, pearl production is still strongly influenced by the application of nucleus implantation techniques and the condition of the aquatic environment. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of nucleus implantation on pearl growth and quality and identify environmental factors that play a significant role. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with subjects being Pteria penguin oysters cultivated by the local community for a period of one month. The main parameters observed included the oyster survival rate, pearl size growth, and the quality of the resulting nacre. The findings provide valuable insight into how nucleus implantation can optimize pearl farming practices. The results showed that oysters implanted with nucleus implants had a survival rate of between 85–90%. Pearl diameter growth reached 1–2 cm per month, with a thicker nacre layer and brighter color than oysters without nuclei. Environmental factors, such as water temperature of 28–30°C, salinity of 30–35 ppt, pH 7.5–8.5, moderate water currents, and high plankton availability, have been shown to support successful cultivation. These environmental factors act as natural enhancers that improve pearl quality and survival rates. The findings of this study imply that the application of appropriate nucleus implantation techniques, accompanied by good environmental management, can increase pearl yield and quality. This not only provides significant economic benefits for cultivators but can also serve as a basis for developing sustainable pearl cultivation strategies in potential Indonesian waters. Thus, sustainable pearl aquaculture can become a promising sector for local communities.

Background: Fever is a common side effect after infants receive DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus) immunization. This condition often causes concern for parents, so appropriate treatment is needed. Generally, fever can be treated with pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. One of the most widely used non-pharmacological treatments is warm compresses. However, innovations in the use of natural ingredients are starting to be noticed, one of which is dadap serep leaves which are thought to be more effective in helping to lower body temperature. The active compounds in dadap serep leaves are believed to provide a calming effect while helping vasodilation, so that body heat can be reduced more quickly. Methodology: This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The research subjects were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group who received dadap serep leaf compresses and the control group who received warm compresses. Body temperature measurements were taken before and after the intervention. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests to see the difference in temperature reduction in each group. Results: The intervention group showed a significant reduction in body temperature, namely 73.3%. In contrast, the control group using warm compresses only experienced a 20% reduction, which was not statistically significant. The results of the intergroup comparison test also showed a significant difference, supporting the research hypothesis. Conclusion: Dadap serep leaf compresses were proven to be more effective than warm compresses in reducing fever in infants following DPT immunization. These findings suggest that the use of dadap serep leaves can be recommended as a safe, effective, and easy-to-implement non-pharmacological intervention alternative in daily practice.

This study examines the practice of reciprocity within the persatuan barang (goods-sharing) group during the implementation of the rewang tradition in Desa Banglas, Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi, Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. The main focus of the research is to identify the various forms of exchange that occur, whether in the form of money, goods, or labor. A narrative qualitative approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, archival review, and documentation of bookkeeping records. The subjects of this research are members of the persatuan barang group who actively participate in social and cultural events in the village. The findings reveal three types of reciprocity: generalized, balanced, and negative. Generalized reciprocity is evident in voluntary contributions without expecting immediate return, often practiced among close kin or neighbors. Balanced reciprocity is demonstrated through exchanges of equal value with a certain expectation of timely return, particularly during communal events like weddings or funerals. Negative reciprocity, although rare, involves unequal exchanges that may lead to social tensions or perceptions of unfairness. These findings indicate that the persatuan barang group functions not only as an informal economic mechanism but also as a cultural institution that fosters mutual assistance, reinforces social cohesion, and preserves traditional values. The exchange systems operate within an implicit moral economy that prioritizes collective welfare over individual gain. Additionally, the tradition of rewang and the organizational role of persatuan barang highlight the resilience and adaptability of indigenous practices in supporting rural livelihoods amid changing socioeconomic conditions. The study suggests that such local systems of reciprocity play a vital role in sustaining social capital, strengthening community identity, and ensuring social security in the absence of formal welfare structures. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of these practices on community resilience and rural development.

The rapid expansion of Indonesia’s digital economy and the enactment of the Personal Data Protection Law (Law 27/2022) have exposed significant shortcomings in the resolution of data-related disputes under existing judicial and administrative frameworks. Public adjudication of sensitive data conflicts can erode trust, impose reputational damage, and delay reparative outcomes, while courts often lack specialized expertise in technology and privacy. Drawing upon international precedents including the European Data Protection Board’s Article 65 GDPR mechanism, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework arbitration annex, and the European Patent Office’s data-protection arbitration rules this study examines the urgency and feasibility of establishing a dedicated Data Dispute Arbitration Forum in Indonesia. Through comparative analysis, it identifies core design elements such as expert-appointed tribunals, streamlined online procedures, confidentiality safeguards, clear enforcement under the New York Con-vention, and mechanisms for restorative remedies beyond fines. Anchored in Pancasila’s social-justice ethos and Indonesia’s ADR law (Law 30/1999) and ITE Law, the proposed institutional architecture integrates online dispute resolution (ODR) protocols, data-minimization and cybersecurity guidelines, and publicly anonymized award publication to foster legal certainty and raise awareness of data-protection obligations. A stakeholder impact assessment demonstrates that such a forum would benefit individual data subjects through low-cost, expeditious relief; controllers and processors through predictability and trade-secret protection; regulators through expert findings; and foreign investors through alignment with global data-governance standards. By aligning domestic legal values with international best practices, the specialized forum promises to bolster enforcement, restore public trust, and strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global digital marketplace.
