Teachers’ religious understanding plays a vital role in shaping early childhood religious attitudes through systematic, consistent, and contextual guidance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of teachers’ religious understanding in fostering children’s religious attitudes at Yayasan Taman Pendidikan TPQ/RA Wahyu Medan. The research applied a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation to explore teachers’ experiences in religious nurturing practices. The findings revealed that teachers have successfully integrated religious values into learning activities, such as collective prayers, memorization of short Qur’anic surahs, greeting habits, and prayer exercises. However, challenges remain, including limited use of interactive learning media and low parental involvement in supporting religious habituation at home. These findings imply that teachers’ religious understanding should be enhanced through continuous training and strengthened collaboration with parents to optimize the fostering of children’s religious attitudes. This community outreach activity was conducted at the Wahyu TPQ/RA Foundation, focusing on the implementation of religious character education through daily habituation activities for early childhood. The main issue behind this activity is the importance of instilling religious values from an early age to shape a generation with noble morals and Islamic character. The method used was a qualitative method with a participatory approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation during religious habituation activities such as prayers before and after studying, reading short surahs, practicing congregational prayers, and Friday Infaq activities. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in children's involvement in religious activities and their consistency in carrying out positive habits. Children became more accustomed to prayer, their manners improved, and an awareness of sharing emerged through infaq activities. These findings are in line with the theory of habituation (habit formation), which emphasizes repetition as a strategy for forming character. This activity contributes to the development of science in the field of early childhood education, particularly in the aspect of religious character education, and can be a model of good practice that can be replicated by similar educational institutions.

Solid financial performance is a crucial foundation for companies to achieve long-term success. In the banking context, financial health assessments are essential, as they directly relate to the stability of the national financial system. Therefore, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has established standards for evaluating bank soundness using the RGEC method, which includes four key aspects: Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earnings, and Capital. This study aims to analyze the soundness level of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) during the 2020–2024 period using the RGEC approach. The assessment is conducted by evaluating financial ratios such as Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Return on Assets (ROA), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The analysis results show that BCA achieved a "very healthy" rating (PK-1) in all RGEC aspects. This reflects BCA's ability to effectively manage risk, implement sound corporate governance principles, and maintain strong profitability and capital. These findings strengthen BCA's position as one of the best-performing banks in Indonesia and demonstrate the company's commitment to maintaining financial stability and customer trust.

The younger generation born in the digital age has great potential to support tax collection. However, the low level of tax compliance among the younger generation is a major concern, especially in the digital age, where the use of online tax services is not yet optimal, tax literacy is still limited, and a lack of socialization is an obstacle to utilizing digital services. This study aims to analyze the influence of preferences for digital tax services and tax literacy on tax compliance among the younger generation at the Majalaya Tax Office. The study uses a quantitative approach with surveys as the data collection method. The sample consists of young taxpayers registered at the Majalaya Tax Office, and the data is analyzed using linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous effects of independent variables on tax compliance. The results show that digitalization preferences have a positive and significant effect on tax compliance, indicating that younger generations who are more responsive to digital services tend to be more compliant. Tax literacy also has a positive and significant effect, showing that a sufficient understanding of tax rights, obligations, and regulations encourages compliance. Simultaneously, the combination of digitalization preferences and tax literacy significantly affects tax compliance, with a coefficient of determination of 0.438, meaning that 43.8% of the variation in compliance can be explained by these two variables. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of integrating easy access to digital services and improved tax literacy to encourage tax compliance among the younger generation.

Population growth and lifestyle changes in Indonesia have led to complex waste management issues, negatively impacting social, health, and environmental sustainability aspects. To address this, a sustainable management approach that actively involves community participation is necessary. The concept of a Waste Bank, based on the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), emerges as a strategic, community-based solution. This community service program aims to encourage active community participation in the Waste Bank program in Tanjung Uban Selatan, Bintan Regency, while supporting the realization of a Smart City based on intelligent and participatory environments. The methodology used is a qualitative approach to gain in-depth understanding. Primary data collection was carried out through interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. Key informants were purposively selected from various stakeholders, including Waste Bank administrators, local government representatives, and community members. The results show that, although initially challenging to increase community participation, the program has had a significant positive impact. It successfully shifted the community's view of waste as a valuable economic resource. Quantitatively, this is reflected in stable income from the sale of high-quality inorganic waste, such as metals and electronic waste. The program also led to strategic innovations, including sustainable education, waste savings incentives, social media use, and the "Dasi Umat" empowerment program. The success of this program, strengthened by awards at the district and national levels, makes it a model for sustainable waste management focused on community empowerment and supporting smart city development.

This research examines the effectiveness of using a repertoire class as a learning strategy in the Media Music course of the Film and Television Production Study Program at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta. The course, offered in the fourth semester, focuses on film music creation, mood development, and instrumental understanding. The study applies the Classroom Action Research method with the primary goal of improving students’ comprehension of film scoring components. Pre-cycle findings showed that students’ understanding was relatively low under previous teaching approaches. To address this, the repertoire class method was introduced. This strategy emphasises active learning through sound samples from various instruments, allowing students to directly experience and analyse how musical elements shape the mood of a film. The interactive design of this method provides not only theoretical insights but also practical, auditory experiences that deepen learning. The research was carried out in three CAR cycles, each evaluating student progress and adjusting strategies as needed. Results demonstrate a notable improvement in learning outcomes. The percentage of students achieving Excellent and Very Good categories increased significantly, while the number in the Poor category decreased. These findings confirm that repertoire classes, especially those incorporating instrumental sound samples, are highly effective in enhancing students’ understanding of the emotional dimension of film music. In conclusion, this approach enriches the learning experience and equips students with both technical knowledge and emotional sensitivity in film scoring. By integrating practice-based methods, the repertoire class proves to be a valuable strategy in media music education.

Mangroves are tropical coastal ecosystems that play a vital role in climate change mitigation, ecosystem service provision, and supporting the livelihoods of local communities. However, over the past five decades, the world has lost nearly one-third of its mangrove forests due to land conversion, coastal development, and overexploitation. In Papua, Waropen represents one of the regions with extensive mangrove coverage while simultaneously facing ecological degradation pressures. This study aims to examine the role of Waropen women in mangrove management, particularly following the Women’s School (Sekoper Waropen) initiative launched in 2018, which graduated its first cohort in 2019. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, relying on secondary data from government reports, scholarly publications, and media documentation. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify changes in women’s social, economic, and ecological roles post-Sekoper. The findings reveal a significant transformation in women’s roles. Prior to Sekoper, women were mostly confined to subsistence use of mangrove resources for household consumption and had limited involvement in public forums. After participating in Sekoper, women became more engaged in mangrove rehabilitation, village decision-making processes, and economic ventures such as mangrove-based food and beverage products, including crab dishes and mangrove fruit syrup. The program also enhanced women’s environmental literacy, self-confidence, and social recognition as agents of change. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited access to capital, technology, and policy support. This study highlights the importance of gender mainstreaming in coastal ecosystem governance and offers recommendations to strengthen women’s role as key actors in sustainable development.

Data analysis is carried out through three main stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the administrative services of the family at the Ngaglik Village Office have been running quite optimally. This is shown by the existence of clear service procedures, good officer responsiveness, and the implementation of a digital system in the administrative process. However, there are still several obstacles that hinder the effectiveness of services, including the lack of initial information received by the applicant, the slow response of communication through digital media, and the limitation of supporting facilities such as technology devices and adequate service spaces. These findings show the need to increase service capacity through strengthening information systems, officer training, and providing more representative support facilities. This research is expected to be an input for the village government in developing administrative services that are more efficient, transparent, and responsive to the needs of the community.

The advancement of information and communication technology has significantly transformed library management, shifting from print-based services to digital-based platforms. This transformation requires librarians to move beyond their traditional role as collection managers to become agents of innovation who connect community information needs with technological developments. This study aims to examine the contribution of librarians’ roles in fostering innovation using Soerjono Soekanto’s (2002) role theory, which encompasses three dimensions: normative, ideal, and actual. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that librarians carry out normative roles through compliance with regulations, digitization standards, metadata, and copyright; ideal roles as digital transformation agents, local collection developers, information technology experts, and digital literacy educators; and actual roles through digitization practices, metadata input, user assistance, and SOP-based services. The results demonstrate that librarians play a strategic role in advancing digital collection development, both through professional compliance and through creative and adaptive engagement with technology. Consequently, librarians strengthen regional libraries as centers of literacy, cultural preservation, and trusted information in the digital era. The novelty of this research lies in integrating Soerjono Soekanto’s role theory into the context of digital library transformation, thereby offering a new analytical framework that positions librarians not merely as technical executors but as strategic actors in regional information service innovation.

Environmental issues have become one of the primary focal points with high priority at regional, national, and international levels. A comprehensive understanding, free from dichotomy, is crucial in formulating policies related to sustainable development that integrate the dimensions of nature, social space, and the environment. The environmental degradation currently being experienced is a serious problem that requires in-depth attention from all stakeholders. Therefore, strong commitment and strategic action from the government are necessary to formulate policies that address the challenges of environmental damage that continue to escalate. Indonesia, as a country in Asia, plays a vital role in controlling global climate change and environmental governance. The approaches of governance and governability in environmental policy emphasize the importance of building institutional networks and partnerships from various sectors, including government, society, and the private sector (multi-stakeholders). All actors involved must share a common vision on environmental policies and strive to integrate environmental issues across various sectors, such as economics, social affairs, and politics. These governance and governability approaches must be grounded in the principles of green government and green policy, which have already been established as part of the national development agenda. This approach also highlights the importance of principles that are long-term, relevant, stable, prudent, and self-reliant in responding to environmental governance and policy issues in Indonesia. By applying these principles, it is hoped that the policies implemented will be more effective and provide positive impacts for environmental sustainability. Therefore, collaboration between the government and all relevant sectors is crucial in creating policies that ensure the continued preservation of the environment for the welfare of future generations.

This study aims to examine the Islamic legal maxim al-yaqīn lā yuzālu bi al-syakk (certainty is not removed by doubt), along with its foundations, branches, and applications in the context of Islamic economics. This maxim plays a crucial role in Islamic legal rulings as it provides guidance that something already established with certainty cannot be nullified merely by subsequent doubt. This research adopts a literature review method by analyzing the Qur’an, hadiths, and various recent academic references. The findings indicate that this legal maxim safeguards legal certainty, prevents decision-making based on mere speculation, and protects individual rights in transactions. Several derivative principles, such as al-ashlu baqā’ mā kāna ‘alā mā kāna, al-ashlu barā’atu al-dzimmah, and al-ashlu fil asy-ya’ al-ibāhah, reinforce the notion that the original legal status remains valid until proven otherwise by strong evidence. Its application in Islamic economics covers trade transactions, mudharabah contracts, asset ownership, and debt settlement, all of which require valid proof before altering an established legal status. This study concludes that implementing the maxim al-yaqīn lā yuzālu bi al-syakk remains highly relevant in the context of modern economic development, as it ensures fairness, minimizes disputes, and promotes secure and sharia-compliant transactions.
