The Danish education system is an example of an inclusive and individual development-oriented education model, with an emphasis on active and collaborative learning. Primary education in the country is compulsory and free of charge, allowing all children to have equal access to quality education. One of the main strengths of this system is the pedagogical approach that emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and social skills, which prepares students to face the challenges of the modern world. However, behind these successes, there are some shortcomings, such as inequities in academic achievement among different socio-economic groups and criticism of the evaluation system as lacking transparency. Improvement efforts are ongoing to address these issues, including increased training for educators and the development of a curriculum that is more responsive to student needs. Thus, although the Danish education system has many strengths, challenges remain and require attention to ensure equality and fairness in education for all children.

Teachers' skills in opening and closing lessons have an important role in creating an effective and conducive learning atmosphere, especially in supporting the development of children's creativity. Opening the lesson in an interesting way can arouse students' curiosity, motivate them, and prepare their minds to receive the material being taught. Meanwhile, closing lessons creatively provides opportunities for students to reflect on learning, strengthen understanding, and develop innovative new ideas. Teachers can use various strategies in both stages, such as the use of interactive media, exploration-based activities, and reflective approaches. Opening lessons that are relevant and contextual helps create a closer connection between students and the learning material. In addition, creative closure encourages children to think critically, analyze information, and produce creative solutions to various problems. Thus, the skills of opening and closing a lesson serve not only as a technical element in teaching, but also as a way to develop students' overall creative potential. Teachers who are skilled in this aspect are able to create interesting, interactive and meaningful learning experiences, thus supporting the development of children's creativity to face future challenges.

We conducted research in schools to find out how the values of national character are implemented in the independent curriculum. National character must always exist even though the curriculum itself often changes. The values of national character that we have should not just disappear, but we must always guard them so that they are not lost. The independent curriculum certainly has done a lot to preserve the values of national character so that students can know what the values of national character are. For the research method itself, I used qualitative research methods by means of interviews and observations. In the schools where we conducted research, namely at SMAN 4 Cibinong and SMPN 4 Kota Serang, we have implemented national character values in the independent curriculum in the implementation of learning, namely honesty, creativity and religious values, for this reason we are also carrying out research activities this time focuses more on students implementing the values of our national character. Students must always apply the character values of the Indonesian nation in implementing the independent curriculum that is currently being implemented.

This study investigates the impact of Canva, a digital literacy tool, on enhancing student engagement and academic performance through the lens of Self-Determination Theory by Johnmarshall Reeve (2012). Using qualitative methods, data were collected from student responses via questionnaires. The findings reveal that Canva positively influences the four dimensions of engagement: behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and agentic. Behavioral engagement is supported through its intuitive tools that promote focus and persistence. Emotional engagement is enhanced by evoking positive emotions and reducing stress. Cognitive engagement is fostered by encouraging critical thinking and creativity, while agentic engagement empowers students to take ownership of their learning processes. Despite challenges such as limited free features, students effectively utilized Canva’s resources to overcome these barriers. The study concludes that Canva offers a transformative approach to education, promoting 21st-century skills and bridging traditional learning with digital literacy. Future improvements could expand free templates, collaborative features, and educational resources, further amplifying its benefits in academic settings.
