This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by madrasah principals to enhance teacher professionalism through the implementation of managerial functions, academic supervision, entrepreneurship, and socio-spiritual leadership at MAN 1 Bandung and MAN 2 Bandung. The study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, while data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that strategies for enhancing teacher professionalism begin with needs-based planning, followed by strengthening clinical academic supervision, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture, and implementing continuous evaluation. The implementation of these strategies has a positive impact on improving teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies, work discipline, and the quality of learning. The novelty of this research lies in the discovery of the “Resilient Professionalism” model a model of teacher professionalism that emphasizes resilience and adaptability to changes in curriculum, technology, and educational dynamics. This model is built through the synergy of the spiritual-managerial leadership of the madrasah principal and the collective efficacy of teachers to achieve sustainable quality in Islamic education.

This article discusses strengthening civic identity through multicultural education based on local wisdom in Gorontalo Regency. The main problem raised is how local culture, although recognized as a symbol of regional identity, has not been fully translated into an inclusive and reflective pedagogical design to shape students' civic awareness. This study uses a qualitative case study design based on document analysis, with data sources in the form of indexed journal articles, regional official publications, and educational documents published in 2021–2026. The focus of the study is directed at educational practices in Limboto and Dungaliyo. The data was selected purposively based on relevance, credibility, and thematic proximity, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show three main findings: first, huyula local wisdom as the value of mutual cooperation, solidarity, and collective responsibility functions as a cultural bridge that connects social diversity with civic disposition. Second, multicultural education is more effective when local values are explicitly integrated into classroom interactions, school habituation, collaborative work, and reflective discussions. Third, challenges arise because many local values are still implicitly practiced so that they have not yet formed a reflective citizenship consciousness. This article concludes the need for a shift from symbolic recognition to structured pedagogical design through curriculum contextualization, teacher mediation, and school-to-community partnerships.

The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of employment agreements as one of the means of providing legal protection for workers’ rights. The research method employed in this study is normative juridical, utilizing primary and secondary legal materials obtained through the analysis of statutory regulations, legal scholars’ opinions, as well as books and journals relevant to the subject under study. The results of the study indicate that employment agreements, as a form of preventive legal protection for workers’ rights, are a consequence of the application of the welfare state concept, thereby requiring the state to intervene in employment relationships arising from such agreements. This form of intervention can be observed in Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. The provisions contained in this law, particularly Article 54 paragraph (1) of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, constitute a form of preventive legal protection, especially in points (e) and (f), as they regulate economic rights as well as the rights and obligations of workers. These provisions provide protection and serve as a form of legal certainty that safeguards workers from the beginning of their employment. The obstacles encountered in the implementation of employment agreements as a preventive means of protecting workers’ rights are divided into three factors: regulatory factors, legal culture factors, and legal structure factors.

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the impact of financial and non-financial compensation effectiveness on turnover intention among Generation Z employees. The high turnover rates within Generation Z, despite receiving adequate financial compensation, indicate a shift in their preferences regarding the workforce. Generation Z tends to seek more than just financial compensation, such as flexibility, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for growth. The method used in this study is a literature review, analyzing various relevant scholarly journals related to strategic compensation, Generation Z characteristics, and turnover intention. The research findings show that non-financial compensation has a more significant impact in reducing turnover intention among Generation Z compared to financial compensation. Therefore, companies need to focus on aspects such as work-life balance, career development opportunities, and an inclusive and supportive work culture. These findings provide valuable insights that companies should adopt a more holistic reward approach through the total rewards concept, which includes both financial and non-financial compensation, in order to enhance loyalty and retention of Generation Z employees in the long term.

This study examines the lived faith of Catholic migrants from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) who have migrated to the Muslim-majority landscape of South Kalimantan, Indonesia. These migrants face a profound crisis of identity as they transition from a dominant religious environment to a marginalized minority status, necessitating a research objective that explores how their faith is reinterpreted amidst such socio-religious pressures. Employing a qualitative phenomenological-hermeneutical method, the research utilizes Paul Ricoeur’s threefold mimesis - prefiguration, configuration, and refiguration - as its primary interpretive framework. The findings reveal a significant narrative shift from an inherited “communal Catholic habitus” to a “refigured faith” characterized by personal agency and reflective commitment. This transformation is sustained through adaptive relational ethics, such as the sanctification of work and collaborative hospitality, which allow migrants to navigate their vulnerability. The study synthesizes these experiences to conclude that internal migration constitutes a vital locus theologicus, wherein the rupture of traditional religious structures does not erode faith but rather matures it into a more resilient, intentional, and relational existential orientation. Consequently, migration emerges as a transformative theological process that redefines the intersection of faith, culture, and minority existence in pluralistic societies.

Work discipline is a crucial element in improving employee performance, particularly in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector such as automotive workshops, which often face managerial and structural challenges. This study aims to explore the understanding, implementation, and influence of work discipline on employee performance at Gandi Jaya Motor Workshop, Jombang, within a local context characterized by religious values and informal work culture. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that work discipline is perceived as a form of personal responsibility driven by leadership example and religious values, rather than by formal systems alone. External factors such as limited infrastructure and the absence of a structured HR evaluation system also affect performance effectiveness. These findings expand the scope of Work Discipline and Employee Performance theories by incorporating social and cultural dimensions as determinants of work behavior. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for a humanistic approach to HR management in MSMEs and recommends further exploration with broader participant coverage and more diverse methodological approaches.

This quantitative study examines the influence of information quality, work engagement, and leadership style on decision making effectiveness among employees of a manufacturing company. Data were collected from 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that all three independent variables simultaneously affect decision making effectiveness. Partially, information quality, work engagement, and leadership style each have significant positive effects on decision making effectiveness. Leadership style demonstrates the strongest influence, followed by information quality and work engagement. The regression equation indicates positive contributions from all predictors. The coefficient of determination shows that the three predictors collectively explain a substantial portion of variance in decision making effectiveness. Findings suggest manufacturing companies should prioritize transformational leadership development programs, conduct information system audits, and implement work engagement initiatives to enhance decision making effectiveness. Future research should expand to other industries, add organizational culture variables, and employ longitudinal designs.

The development of audiovisual media in the digital era provides a significant opportunity for conveying information, particularly regarding social and cultural issues. One interesting phenomenon is the acculturation of Peranakan Chinese cuisine in Indonesia, which is currently becoming less well-known among the younger generation. This study aims to represent this acculturation process through a documentary film entitled "Jejak Rasa" (Traces of Taste), using a naturalistic visual approach. The method used is a qualitative approach with field observation, interviews, and documentation strategies, integrated with a community organizing process. The research subjects included Peranakan Chinese culinary practitioners in Bandung, such as culinary business owners and museum guides. The production process consisted of three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The naturalistic approach was implemented through the use of predominantly eye-level camera angles, minimal camera movement, and the use of natural lighting to produce authentic visuals. The results of the study indicate that documentary films can be an effective medium for representing cultural values, history, and culinary identity as part of the acculturation process. Thus, this work serves not only as a medium of information but also as an effort to preserve culture relevant to the development of modern media.

Islamic education management in the contemporary era is no longer adequate if understood solely as an administrative activity, but must be built on a solid philosophical, ethical, and spiritual foundation. This article aims to analyze the concept of Islamic education management from the perspective of Al-Ghazali and Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and examine the relevance of its implementation for contemporary Islamic education management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data were obtained from the primary works of both figures and various relevant secondary sources, then analyzed through a comparative-conceptual approach with qualitative content analysis techniques and hermeneutic reading. The results show that Al-Ghazali emphasizes the ethical-spiritual dimension of education through the integration of knowledge, charity, morals, and purification of the soul, while al-Attas emphasizes the epistemological-philosophical dimension through the concepts of ta'dib, adab, and the Islamic worldview. Both have a common ground in the view that Islamic education must be directed at the formation of knowledgeable, civilized, and moral human beings, and should not be reduced to a technical process with neutral value. In terms of implementation, this study synthesizes the thoughts of both figures relevant to strengthening education, leadership, curriculum and learning management, institutional culture formation, and holistic educational evaluation. Therefore, Islamic educational management is ideally built on a foundation of ethical-spiritual and epistemological-philosophical integration to ensure effective, valuable, and transcendental-oriented educational governance.

Digital transformation has driven organizations to adopt the metaverse as a 3D virtual workspace that enables employee interaction through avatars, thereby introducing new challenges in managing organizational identity, work culture, and employee loyalty. This study aims to analyze the role of human resource leadership in establishing organizational identity, transforming work culture, and sustaining employee loyalty within a metaverse-based work environment. The study employs an integrative literature review approach by systematically collecting and synthesizing relevant scholarly sources from reputable publications within the last five years. The findings indicate that organizational identity in the metaverse is constructed through avatar representation and virtual environment design, while work culture undergoes a transformation toward flexible digital interaction patterns that still require reinforcement of organizational values. Furthermore, employee loyalty is influenced by the quality of virtual experiences and the effectiveness of leadership communication. In this context, digital-based HR leadership emerges as a critical factor in fostering employee engagement and trust in a non-physical interaction setting. This study contributes conceptually by integrating leadership, identity, culture, and loyalty within the metaverse framework, and provides practical implications for organizations in designing adaptive human resource management strategies in response to the advancement of immersive technologies.

This study examines the directing approach in portraying the process of character formation through a video feature titled “Ballet: Repetitive Steps, a Formed Self.” The research is grounded in the phenomenon of instant culture in contemporary digital society, which tends to prioritize rapid outcomes over gradual processes. The objective of this study is to explore how directing strategies can construct repetitive ballet training as a meaningful visual narrative that reflects discipline, consistency, and perseverance. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a practice-based approach, where data are collected through observation, documentation, and the creative production process. The findings indicate that directing elements, including shot composition, rhythm, and audio-visual integration, play a significant role in transforming repetitive movements into a dynamic and progressive narrative. Repetition is not merely presented as a technical exercise but as a symbolic process of character development. The study also reveals that visual storytelling can effectively communicate reflective meanings and engage audiences emotionally. The implication of this research suggests that audiovisual works, particularly video features, can serve as a medium to challenge instant-oriented perspectives by emphasizing the value of process in personal development.

This study aims to examine the application of an expository approach in the scriptwriting of the documentary film "Jejak Rasa," which highlights Southern Chinese cuisine in Bandung as a representation of cultural acculturation. The background of this research is based on the declining interest of the younger generation in traditional culinary arts due to the influence of globalization and social media trends. The methods used included literature research, field observations, and interviews with relevant sources, such as culinary entrepreneurs and museum officials. The results show that the expository approach is effective in conveying information systematically, factually, and easily understood through the use of voice-over narration as the main direction of the story. Furthermore, the use of an implied first-person perspective creates an emotional connection between the audience and the material presented. This documentary serves not only as an information medium but also as a means of education and preservation of Peranakan Chinese culinary culture. By combining visual elements, narrative, and interviews, this documentary comprehensively presents historical, social, and cultural values. Therefore, this work is expected to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving culinary cultural heritage amidst modern developments.

Patient safety culture is a critical component in healthcare organizations, reflecting the values, attitudes, competencies, and behavioral patterns that ensure safe patient care. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge and work environment on patient safety culture, with attitude serving as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design was employed, involving 118 nurses as respondents selected through total population sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares. The findings reveal that both knowledge and work environment have a significant direct effect on patient safety culture. Additionally, knowledge and work environment significantly influence attitudes, while attitudes themselves have a significant effect on patient safety culture. However, attitude does not mediate the relationship between knowledge and patient safety culture, but it does mediate the influence of the work environment on patient safety culture. These results indicate that improving nurses’ knowledge and creating a supportive work environment are essential strategies for strengthening patient safety culture. The study also highlights the importance of fostering positive attitudes through organizational support and conducive working conditions. The implications suggest that hospital management should focus on continuous training programs, enhancing workplace conditions, and developing systems that promote positive behavioral attitudes among healthcare workers to improve overall patient safety outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Governance principles—transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness, efficiency, rule of law, and inclusivity—in public administration services at the Sungai Tabukan Sub-district Office, especially in the Service, Economy, and Social Welfare Section. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of sub-district officials and service user communities. The data was analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn, and tested for validity by triangulation and member check techniques. The results of the study show that procedural transparency, compliance with SOPs, and administrative accountability mechanisms have been running relatively well, so that services such as SKKM, marriage recommendations, and population documents can be processed openly and can be traced. However, the limitations of human resources, facilities, and digital infrastructure cause the effectiveness and efficiency of services to still be conditional and depend on key actors. Community participation has been facilitated through forums and feedback channels, but it is still dominated by village intermediaries so that the direct involvement of residents is not optimal. In terms of the rule of law and inclusivity, services have been based on regulations and are non-discriminatory, although there are still inequality in access and speed of services between regions. The main supporting factors include leadership commitment, internal work culture, and the existence of SOPs, while inhibiting factors include limited human resources, facilities, and information systems that have not been integrated. It was concluded that the implementation of Good Governance in public administration services in Sungai Tabukan District has been running functionally, but has not been fully consolidated systemically. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen policies through the digitization of services, increase the capacity of the apparatus, improve facilities, integrate data-based accountability and transparency systems, and expand citizen participation channels to realize more professional, fair, and sustainable public administration service.

Pantun, as a form of traditional oral literature, plays a crucial role in the development of regional literature learning and character education. This study aims to analyze the application of pantun as a learning medium capable of revitalizing students' character values in the modern era. The study was conducted through a literature review of several relevant scientific articles, including those by Purnama et al. (2023), Andayani (2024), Yoga (2024), and Rozani (2025), all of which discuss the relationship between pantun, learning, and character development. The analysis shows that pantun contains character values such as religiosity, honesty, responsibility, courtesy, hard work, and love of country. Through pantun reciprocal activities, the creation of thematic pantun, and the integration of pantun into a local wisdom-based curriculum, regional literature learning can be an effective means of developing polite, creative, and cultured personalities. The application of pantun in the classroom not only strengthens appreciation for regional literature but also serves as a concrete strategy for revitalizing national character. Thus, pantun is no longer merely a legacy of oral tradition, but rather an instrument for moral and cultural education relevant to the needs of 21st-century education.

Global business environmental uncertainty, triggered by "Black Swan" phenomena, demands that organizations transform beyond passive resilience toward anti-fragility capabilities, where Human Resource (HR) systems actually grow stronger through market disruptions. This study aims to analyze the concept of anti-fragility within organizational leadership, explain the role of transformational leadership in shaping anti-fragile employees, and identify organizational strategies for navigating market uncertainty. The approach employed is a narrative literature review using content analysis techniques across various reputable scientific journals, anti-fragility theory, and organizational case studies such as Disney+, Zoom, and Tractor Supply. Research findings indicate that transformational leadership acts as a primary catalyst that builds anti-fragility through intellectual stimulation, decentralized autonomy, and the creation of a culture that learns from failure. Organizational strategies prioritizing resource flexibility, cross-skilling, and optionality have proven effective in converting crisis stressors into opportunities for innovation and performance growth. The contribution of this article lies in the development of an "Anti-Fragile Leadership" conceptual framework that integrates the philosophical principles of anti-fragility into strategic HRM practices. The practical implications provide a guide for organizational leaders to design work systems that are adaptive and proactive toward market volatility, ensuring that organizations not only survive but thrive from chaos.

Traditional artworks, amidst the tide of modernization and digitalization, face the challenge of being stigmatized as static relics of the past. However, in the midst of increasingly modern civilization, traditional artworks are perceived to possess philosophical values for the younger generation. The meanings contained in traditional songs possess a social perspective lacking in most traditional songs composed in the modern era. The purpose of this article is to examine the lyrics of Ki Nartosabdo's song "Lumbung Desa" philosophically and sociologically, applying Roland Barthes's semiotic theory. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze semiotics, comprising the significance of denotation, connotation, and myth. The analysis shows that the denotation in the lyrics of "Lumbung Desa" depicts agricultural activities occurring in rural communities. Connotatively, the lyrics interpret the values of human spirituality towards God, integrity in work, and food self-sufficiency. From a mythical perspective, the lyrics symbolize the values of harmony in social life and mutual cooperation as a solid foundation for building national stability and progress. Further analysis of the song lyrics' relevance in the modern era shows that the meaning of "Lumbung" has transformed into financial and digital independence, while the value of "Rukun" points to the application of ethics in the use of digital media in the modern era. This article concludes that preserving traditional songs is a strategy to revive culture as a manifestation of material progress that impacts the well-being of modern society.

This research is motivated by the importance of strengthening a professional public service culture through the integration of public administration values, norms, and ethics. Although various regulations and codes of ethics have been established in public organizations, gaps remain between formal norms and service practices in the field, such as low levels of responsiveness and professionalism among civil servants. This study aims to analyze the relationship between values, norms, and ethics in shaping public service culture, and to examine the role of organizational ethics and codes of ethics in strengthening public administration professionalism. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design through a literature review of relevant journals, books, and policy documents. Content analysis techniques were used to identify patterns of relationships between concepts. The results indicate that the internalization of ethical values such as integrity, accountability, and transparency significantly influences the quality of public services. An organizational code of ethics serves as a formal instrument that clarifies standards of conduct for civil servants and strengthens a professional work culture. Consequently, public organizations need to strengthen ethics training, oversight mechanisms, and the integration of ethical values into performance evaluation systems to build responsive and public-interest-oriented services.
