This article examines the differential treatment of so-called exiles, people who were sent abroad either to study or to work. During the events of 1965-1966, their passports were revoked. They lived by moving from one country to another in search of a "home" that would accommodate them. The exiles traveled to various countries, including the Netherlands, France, Germany, Sweden and the United States. During this time, they experienced various difficulties, economically, socially and psychologically. Economically, they struggled to find work, socially, they experienced discrimination and psychologically, they were deeply traumatized and haunted by fear. The story of the suffering they experience contradicts the rights they should get as Indonesian citizens when they are abroad. The theoretical framework used is John Locke's liberalism, which clearly supports the equal rights of every citizen to ultimately create harmony between them. It is this equality of rights that this study aims to investigate. This research uses a qualitative approach that draws on literature, internet pages and interview narratives. As a result of the research, one of the exiles interviewed admitted that he was still proud to be an Indonesian citizen even though he did not get the same treatment as an Indonesian citizen.

The problem that is often faced by teenagers is mental health where there are many causes and consequences that can trigger this to happen. Because of this problem, teenagers lack an understanding of self-love or love themselves. Self love has the meaning of a feeling where we feel confident and proud of our own abilities without attaching importance to the opinions of others by involving aspects of self-awareness, self-confidence, and caring for ourselves. Looking at the reality, this article uses qualitative methods and literature studies in answering these problems. In the interview that we have conducted to 7 existing resource persons and contain active high school teenagers based in the city of Surakarta. With the hope that the interview that has been done can help some and even all speakers about the importance of 'self love' for themselves. With the results we get in several existing aspects such as self awareness, self care, self esteem and in the 7th self worth aspect, the informant has a fairly good and high percentage. Even though in the aspect of self esteem at the same time it is still wrapped in a sense of insecurity.

In Law Number 24 of 2009 Article 25 it is stated that the Indonesian language is a national identity, national pride, a means of unity as an ethnic group, as well as a means of communication between regions and between regional cultures. Therefore, as an Indonesian language user, you should be proud to use Indonesian. However, in the context of higher education, most students do not really have a positive linguistic attitude. Awareness of feeling loyal, proud to own, and maintain the Indonesian language seems to be lacking. This is because students tend to be more confident when using a foreign language compared to their own country's language. A positive attitude in Indonesian can be shown in the form of language loyalty, language pride, and awareness of language norms.

Over the years, Indonesian has developed into the state language and national language, but many Indonesians cannot be proud of it. When they talk about Indonesia without really understanding it, the fact is clear. One of the reasons for this lack of pride is the implementation of the educational process by the government, the community, and the teaching staff. Although there are several rules regarding the use of the Indonesian language, the government has not taken serious action against public violations. people are more proud to use a foreign language than Indonesian, and young people today are less interested in learning it so they cannot create pride in their language, namely Indonesian.
