This study explores the methods applied by teachers in teaching dance to early childhood children at RA Aisyiyah and its influence on their development. Dance learning does not only focus on motor skills, but also includes children's cognitive, emotional, and social growth. By implementing methods such as demonstration, imitation, imaginative play, and free exploration, teachers at RA Aisyiyah can foster creativity, discipline, and collaboration in children. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach that takes data from observations and literature reviews. The findings show that the role of teachers is crucial as creative developers in the dance learning process, by adapting methods according to the challenges that arise, such as the child's level of focus, limited space, and variations in interests. This article highlights the importance of a combination of flexible learning methods to optimize the potential of early childhood in the fields of art and character education.

Law enforcement against minor crimes committed by children and the elderly often causes public dissatisfaction because it is considered to not take into account the principles of justice and benefit. To answer this problem, the Supreme Court issued Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) Number 1 of 2024 concerning Guidelines for Adjudicating Criminal Cases Based on Restorative Justice. This study raises two main problems: (1) How is Perma Number 1 of 2024 applied to children and the elderly who commit minor crimes? and (2) What are the inhibiting factors in its implementation? The purpose of the study is to analyze the implementation of the Perma and identify the obstacles faced. The methods used are normative juridical and empirical juridical, with a statutory, case, and conceptual approach. Data collection was carried out through document studies and interviews with practitioners and academics. The results of the study show that Perma Number 1 of 2024 provides space for resolving minor criminal cases in a more humane manner through restorative justice. However, its implementation still faces obstacles, including the lack of understanding of law enforcement officers, limited supporting facilities, and resistance from some communities and victims who still choose the formal legal process. In conclusion, although this Perma provides a great opportunity for peaceful resolution, its implementation requires commitment from all parties. It is recommended that there be increased training and socialization for law enforcement officers, provision of penal mediation facilities, and additional regulations to strengthen protection for children and the elderly as vulnerable groups.

Child marriage in Indonesia is still a serious problem despite regulations that limit the minimum age of marriage. The revision of Law No. 16/2019 sets the minimum age at 19 years, but the practice of marriage dispensation has actually increased. This phenomenon reflects the gap between formal legality and social reality which is influenced by factors such as low education, patriarchal culture, conservative religious interpretations, social pressure, and poverty. Dispensation for marriage is often granted without an in-depth assessment of the child's readiness, ignoring the principle of the best interests of the child. Law enforcement has not been effective due to the lack of legal literacy, weak supervision, and the dominance of local values. Prevention efforts require an interdisciplinary approach through reproductive health education, strengthening social protection, community participation, and synergy between institutions. Therefore, the elimination of child marriage must be a strategic policy based on the transformation of social norms and the protection of children's rights in a holistic and sustainable manner within the framework of gender perspective development and social justice.

The purpose of this study is to describe and compare the literary structures of Sindhunata's novel Anak Bajang Menggiring Angin and S. Sularso's Ramayana using an objective-structural approach. The study's focus is on intrinsic factors, specifically themes and penokohan, as well as reflections of the social values of Jawa culture that are present in both karyas. This study uses a kualitatif deskriptif method with the content analysis technique applied to two novel texts as the primary data. The study's findings indicate that both karyas have a common interest in discussing traditional topics such as the relationship between kebaikan and kejahatan, cinta sejati, pengorbanan, and nilai kepemimpinan. However, there are differences in alur kelengkapan, narasi kedalaman, and tokoh penggambaran. Anak Bajang Menggiring Angin presents the Ramayana in a more precise and symbolic manner, while Sularso's version of the story emphasizes the traditional forms of ungkapan and Jawa symbols. The results of this study are presented in a clear and concise manner by comparing two contemporary adaptations of the classic Ramayana story with objective-structural analysis that has not yet been widely discussed. This study aims to shed light on how modern sastra might serve as a local reflection of culture through traditional epik.

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, including movement and dance learning for early childhood. In the context of Early Childhood Education (ECE), technology integration has been proven to enhance engagement, creativity, and cognitive development in children aged 5-6 years. This study aims to examine the extent of technology use in dance learning at RA Bunayya 2. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations and interviews with educators. The research findings indicate that technological tools such as projectors and digital screens enhance children's focus, participation, and creativity in dance activities. Additionally, various supporting technologies, including mobile phones, cameras, microphones, and projectors, are utilized to enrich the learning experience, making the educational process more interactive and engaging. However, challenges such as unstable internet connections and varying levels of concentration among children require careful implementation. This study highlights the importance of balancing technology use in ECE, ensuring that digital tools serve as a support rather than replacing conventional pedagogical approaches.

Emotional development is a crucial aspect in shaping children's personality and social abilities. Children with emotional and behavioral disorders, known as "tunalaras" children, often struggle to express their feelings appropriately and behave according to social norms, thus requiring support from the school environment, particularly through the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers. This study aims to explore in depth how BK teachers at SKH Bina Citra Anak support the emotional development of tunalaras children. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with BK teachers as the primary informants. The findings reveal that BK teachers act as emotional companions who deal with various emotional characteristics of tunalaras children, such as impulsive, aggressive, and destructive behaviors. Teachers implement personal approaches to manage children's emotions, such as taking them to a quiet room, engaging in empathetic dialogue, and building safe relationships. Major challenges stem from the children’s social and environmental conditions, such as broken homes and external pressures. This research is expected to provide practical contributions to schools and related parties in creating a more empathetic and supportive educational environment for tunalaras children.

Sexual violence against children and women in Indonesia remains a critical issue with lasting physical, psychological, and social consequences for victims. This study aims to analyze existing legal protection efforts for child and female victims of sexual violence, identify regulatory and implementation weaknesses, and formulate policy recommendations. Employing a normative legal research design with a doctrinal‑descriptive approach, it reviews legislation, scholarly literature, and court decisions. The findings reveal that despite legal frameworks such as Law No. 35/2014 on Child Protection and relevant Criminal Code provisions, significant gaps persist in offense categorization, victims’ access to legal aid services, and inter‑agency coordination. The implications highlight the need for regulatory refinement, strengthened reporting mechanisms, and enhanced capacity of law enforcement and legal aid institutions to ensure comprehensive victim protection.

Early childhood dance education aims to teach kids how to manipulate objects, control and interpret body movements, and cultivate body-mind harmony. This helps kids become more intelligent because it gives them the chance to develop their sensitivity, fantasy, imagination, and creativity. Children's dance education aims to teach them to dance in accordance with their skill level and spiritual nature so that their bodies can become a vehicle for expressing their fantasies and imaginations. Children's dance moves differ from those of adults; they must depict the joyful, pleasurable world of children, with basic movement patterns, topics that are relevant to their lives, and upbeat music.

The role of fathers in children's lives cannot actually be underestimated. Unfortunately, there are still many children in Indonesia who grow up without the presence or maximum role of a father. This phenomenon is known as fatherlessness. Either because the father is not there (due to divorce or death), or because the father is there but does not carry out his role well. In fact, according to Islamic teachings and legal regulations in Indonesia, fathers have a big responsibility to provide for their children, both materially, with love and attention. Through this study, it is discussed how Islam provides strong warnings for negligent fathers, even calling it a major sin. The Prophet's hadith also emphasizes a lot about a father's responsibility towards his family. Not only that, Indonesian law also has clear regulations regarding sanctions for fathers who abandon their children, including criminal threats. In essence, fathers are not only breadwinners, but also important figures in children's growth and development. If this role is ignored, the impact could be big for the child, family, and even the future of the father himself. The state and society must care more about this, so that Indonesian children can grow up healthy, complete and happy.

This study aims to determine the character of fishermen's children at SDN 23 Baolan Subdistrict, Toli-Toli Regency and the influence of social media activities on their character. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using method triangulation technique. The research findings show that social media has a significant influence on children's character, particularly in terms of religiosity. Children tend to imitate behaviors they observe on social media, including the use of inappropriate language, delaying religious practices, and neglecting proper manners. Other character aspects such as hard work, discipline, and social care are also affected, with a tendency toward decreased responsibility and empathy due to uncontrolled exposure to online content. Although there is potential for positive impact, the negative effects of social media use are more dominant, mainly due to a lack of supervision and guidance from parents.

Stunting is a growth and development disorder in children caused by chronic malnutrition, repeated infections, and lack of psychosocial stimulation. It remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, which ranks second in Southeast Asia for stunting prevalence among toddlers. According to the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the prevalence was 31.8% in 2020. Although declining, the national prevalence remained high: 30.8% in 2018, 27.7% in 2019, 24.4% in 2021, and 21.6% in 2022. These figures still exceed the World Health Organization’s (WHO) maximum threshold of 20%. The Indonesian government aims to reduce the prevalence to 14% by 2024.One key intervention to address stunting is balanced nutrition education for children and their caregivers. This educational approach targets mothers and local health cadres to increase awareness of adequate and quality nutrition for child development. Community empowerment plays a vital role in this effort, particularly in enabling early detection and response to stunting risks. To support this, a Community Service initiative was implemented through a program by the Midwifery Department at Poltekkes Kemenkes Jakarta III. The team developed and provided educational media to assist communities in understanding and applying good nutrition practices, thereby contributing to stunting prevention at the grassroots level.

The juvenile criminal justice system in Indonesia has been reformed through the enactment of Law No. 11/2012 on Juvenile Criminal Justice Sistem (UU SPPA), but its implementation is still ineffective. This study aims to examine the ineffectiveness of the implementation of diversion and the imbalance between restorative aspects and the protection of children's rights in a repressive justice system. This type of research is normative, with statutory, conceptual and comparative approaches. The results of the study showed that limited understanding of the apparatus, lack of institutional support, and the still strong paradigm of punishment were the main obstacles. In conclusion, the reform has not fully reflected the principles of restorative justice and child protection. The author recommends strengthening the capacity of officials, cross-sector collaboration, and revitalizing the role of the community in supporting the implementation of diversion and the protection of children's rights as a whole.
