The RIGEM community service program was carried out with the aim of strengthening character education for early childhood through the use of children’s songs in TK B. The background of this activity stems from concerns about the increasing exposure of children to adult songs and content, which may influence their behavior and moral values. Children’s songs were chosen as the main medium because they have simple melodies, easy-to-remember lyrics, and contain positive values that can stimulate children's cognitive, affective, and social development. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) to assess the effectiveness of the program. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of activities. The results show that the children’s songs introduced particularly those containing messages about politeness, cooperation, and responsibility were effective in improving children's understanding of moral values and encouraging positive behavioral changes. Children became more accustomed to using polite expressions, showing empathy, and cooperating during classroom activities. Teachers and parents played an important role in reinforcing these habits both at school and at home. Overall, the RIGEM program proved to be an effective, enjoyable, contextual, and easily implemented effort to foster character development in early childhood education.

General education at Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) plays an important role in developing students’ critical thinking skills so they can analyze religious and social issues reflectively and contextually. However, learning practices in PTKI are still dominated by teacher-centered approaches and low cognitive achievement, which limits the development of analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Meanwhile, studies show that integrating digital media, particularly video, can improve conceptual understanding, motivation, and cognitive engagement, yet a digital video-based meaningful learning model specifically designed for the PTKI context remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to formulate a Digital Video-Based Meaningful Learning Model (MPBBVD) to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. This research employed a literature review method by analyzing books, scientific articles, research reports, and digital sources related to meaningful learning, constructivism, multimedia learning, digital video use, and critical thinking development. Data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively to identify the theoretical foundations, learning syntax, and design principles of the model. The findings indicate that MPBBVD integrates Ausubel’s Meaningful Learning theory, constructivist perspectives from Piaget, Vygotsky, and Bruner, Mayer’s Multimedia Learning theory, and the critical thinking framework of Facione and Ennis. The model uses digital video as the main learning medium and applies the ACTIVE stages (Attend, Connect, Think, Interpret, Verify, Evaluate) to promote contextual and interactive learning. Integrating pre-, during-, and post-video activities supports knowledge construction, reduces cognitive load, and increases student engagement, contributing theoretically and practically to improving critical thinking in PTKI in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era.

The implementation of the eighth-grade Christian Religious Education teaching module on the topic "Love as the Foundation of a Believer's Life" was carried out as an effort to provide an active, reflective, and contextual learning process in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. Learning is designed through an interactive approach with discussion activities, analysis of biblical texts, case studies, problem-solving, and personal reflection that provide opportunities for students to construct understanding independently. Through these activities, students are guided to understand the concept of agape love as sincere love, giving without expecting anything in return, and is manifested in concrete actions towards others. The implementation results show that this teaching module is able to improve students' conceptual understanding of the meaning of love from a biblical perspective and its relevance in modern life. Students appear to be increasingly confident in expressing opinions, are able to work together in groups, and are actively involved in learning activities. In addition, the emergence of attitudes of empathy, tolerance, and habits of helping each other are indicators that the value of love is not only understood cognitively, but also internalized in behavior. This teaching module also contributes to improving students' critical thinking skills and spirituality through reflection activities that invite them to evaluate acts of love in daily life at school, family, and society.

Recommender systems play a critical role in shaping user decisions across digital platforms; however, the increasing complexity of recommendation algorithms has raised serious concerns regarding transparency, trust, and accountability. This study focuses on enhancing the transparency of recommender systems by integrating Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques within a MovieLens-based recommendation framework. The primary problem addressed is the opacity of conventional recommendation models, which limits user understanding of why certain items are recommended and may reduce trust, perceived fairness, and system acceptance. Accordingly, the main objective of this research is to design and evaluate a hybrid explainable recommender system that balances predictive accuracy with human-understandable explanations. The proposed approach combines Matrix Factorization, feature-importance-aware neural networks, and knowledge graph embeddings to construct a robust recommendation model. To enhance explainability, multiple XAI strategies are integrated, including model-agnostic methods (LIME, SHAP, and CLIME), argumentation-based explanations, and context-aware personalized explanations. A comprehensive evaluation framework is employed, incorporating algorithmic metrics (accuracy, fidelity, robustness, counterfactual consistency, and fairness) alongside human-centered evaluations measuring trust, transparency, cognitive load, and perceived usefulness. Experimental results demonstrate that the knowledge graph–enhanced hybrid model achieves superior recommendation accuracy compared to baseline approaches. Moreover, context-aware explanations consistently outperform other methods in terms of fidelity, robustness, and user-perceived transparency, while argumentation-based explanations are found to be the most persuasive. CLIME offers a strong balance between technical stability and interpretability. The findings indicate that no single explainability technique is universally optimal; instead, hybrid and adaptive explanation strategies are most effective. In conclusion, this study confirms that human-centered, context-adaptive XAI significantly improves transparency and user trust in recommender systems, highlighting explainability as a fundamental component rather than an optional enhancement.

Cognitive concentration constitutes a pivotal determinant within the educational process; when an individual exhibits impaired attentional capacity, the instructional input received is unlikely to be effectively encoded into neural pathways or long-term memory, thereby rendering the expenditure of effort, time, and resources essentially futile. This investigation sought to elucidate the associative dynamics among breakfast consumption patterns, levels of physical activity, and sleep quality in relation to academic concentration among students in Grades X and XI within the North Bogor District. Employing a cross-sectional methodological framework, the study encompassed 101 participants whose selection adhered to an observational analytic approach. Empirical data pertaining to breakfast behavior, physical activity, sleep quality, and concentration performance were acquired through standardized self-administered questionnaires. Analytical procedures were conducted using the chi-square statistical test. The inferential findings demonstrated a statistically significant association between breakfast habits (p = 0.002) and sleep quality (p = 0.008) with learning concentration, whereas physical activity exhibited no significant correlation (p = 0.831). Accordingly, the study substantiates that breakfast regularity and sleep quality are meaningfully interrelated with students’ concentration levels, while physical activity does not manifest a measurable relationship with concentration outcomes

This study critically examines the effectiveness of early intervention programs in addressing war-related trauma in the Middle East by meta-synthesizing forty-seven interventions implemented between 2010 and 2024. The analysis demonstrates that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) based interventions achieved a success rate of 78.3 percent with p value less than 0.001 in reducing post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms, with an effect size of d equal to 0.86 indicating substantial therapeutic strength. Group based interventions showed higher effectiveness (83.2 percent) than individual approaches (71.5 percent), and programs involving family support yielded better recovery outcomes (84.7 percent) than those without family involvement (69.3 percent). Regression analysis identified three primary predictors of successful intervention outcomes, namely intervention duration (beta 0.42, p value less than 0.001), therapist cultural competence (beta 0.38, p value less than 0.001), and the integration of social support systems (beta 0.35, p value less than 0.001). These findings expand on prior studies by Ennis et al. (2020) and Mawar et al. (2025), which were limited to evaluating CBT effectiveness, and also reinforce the significance of cultural dimensions and social support systems as critical determinants. In contrast to the meta analysis by Nocon et al. (2017), which reported an effectiveness rate of 65 percent for individual interventions, the present study reveals the superiority of group based approaches in communal Middle Eastern societies. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive identification of culturally sensitive determinants of early intervention success and the formulation of an integrative model positioning family support as an essential component in protocols for war-related trauma care.
