This study examines the strategic role of Civic Education (PKn) in increasing national and state awareness among elementary school students in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach with conceptual analysis methods and literature studies, this study identifies four main roles of civil society: the cultivation of national identity, the recognition of citizens' rights and obligations, the development of democratic values, and the formation of attitudes of tolerance and multiculturalism. The dimensions of consciousness developed include constitutional consciousness, nationalism, multiculturalism, and participatory. This article also explains effective PKn implementation strategies through experiential learning, integration with daily life, the use of interactive learning media, and example and habituation. Despite having a vital role, the implementation of PKn still faces challenges in the form of learning that tends to be theoretical, limited teacher competence, and counterproductive environmental influences. The evaluation of PKn's success in increasing awareness can be measured through behavior change, conceptual understanding, active participation, and social concern of students. In conclusion, PKn that is implemented contextually and meaningfully from an early age can be an effective foundation in forming good citizens and maintaining national identity in the global era.

Religious character is one aspect of character values related to an individual's relationship with God. Religious character is considered a key point that needs to be instilled and developed from an early age in children. This serves as the foundation of religious teachings in the lives of individuals and society as a whole. The aim of this research is to understand the formation of religious character among Islamic boarding school students through the programs of reading the Quran and performing the Dhuha prayer at PPTQ Al-Mustaqimiyyah. The research method used is qualitative, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources were obtained through interviews with administrators, teachers, and students. The results indicate that the Quran reading and Dhuha prayer program has a positive impact on shaping the religious character of the students. This is reflected in the improvement of Quran reading skills, awareness in worship, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and the cultivation of good morals, attitudes, and behavior. With these activities, it is expected that students will be motivated and enthusiastic to enhance their memorization of the Quran, not only by reading and memorizing but also by understanding the meaning of the sacred verses and applying them in community life. The improvement in worship is expected to help them distinguish between noble moral values and reprehensible behavior, forming good habits that are difficult to replace in the future.

The national curriculum is designed to support the development of students' character education. This is reflected in the integration between subjects and educational levels, as well as attention to the three main domains: attitude (affective), knowledge (cognitive), and skills (psychomotor). The main goal of this curriculum is to shape Indonesian individuals who are faithful, capable of living independently and socially, and who are productive, creative, innovative, and of noble character. The curriculum also encourages students to contribute actively to social life, the nation, and global civilization. Character values are instilled through the development of two main attitudes: spiritual attitude, which refers to practicing one's religious beliefs, and social attitude, which includes honesty, discipline, responsibility, politeness, environmental awareness, and self-confidence in interacting with others.

Multiculturalism presents a significant challenge to contemporary social development, particularly in Indonesia, a nation characterized by its vast ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity. Multicultural Islamic education is viewed as a strategic solution to fostering social harmony and mitigating potential conflicts based on ethnicity, religion, race, and intergroup relations (SARA). This study employs a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the PRISMA framework to analyze various references related to the implementation of multicultural Islamic education values in schools. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in instilling values of tolerance, respect for diversity, and democratic attitudes among students. However, the implementation faces several challenges, including a lack of parental support, limited learning media, and insufficient time allocation for promoting multicultural values. Summarizing Arabic texts plays a crucial role in understanding and disseminating knowledge. In Arabic language learning, there is a concept known as Naht, which is the process of simplifying or condensing lengthy and complex texts into a shorter form without diminishing the core meaning contained within them. However, in reality, many students still struggle to summarize Arabic texts due to less interactive teaching methods, resulting in passive attitudes and a lack of self-confidence among students. This study aims to develop more interactive teaching techniques to enhance student participation while supporting their critical thinking skills, particularly in the ability to summarize after reading Arabic texts. This research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the application of interactive methods such as group discussions and mind mapping positively impacts students' ability to summarize Arabic texts and develop critical thinking skills. Group discussions help deepen understanding and boost students' confidence, while mind mapping facilitates the identification of core material and makes learning more engaging and easier to remember. This technique has proven effective in improving summarization skills and sharpening critical thinking, thus it is recommended for teachers to implement and further develop it in order to create an optimal learning process for students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Izzul Islam.
