This research aims to explore the role of leadership in shaping the social dynamics within Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) communities in Indonesia. The central purpose of this study is to understand how leadership structures and practices influence the social cohesion, authority relations, and educational environment in these traditional institutions. Using a library research methodology, the study analyzes various scholarly articles, books, and previous studies related to the leadership in Pesantren, as well as sociological theories on power, authority, and community development. The findings indicate that leadership in Pesantren plays a crucial role in fostering social unity, maintaining discipline, and mediating conflicts. The head of the Pesantren (Kyai) often serves as a central figure whose authority shapes the values, norms, and social behaviors of students and staff. Furthermore, the study highlights the intersection of traditional and modern leadership styles within Pesantren, revealing both challenges and opportunities for transformation in the face of social change. The implications of this research suggest that a more nuanced understanding of leadership in Pesantren can contribute to enhancing social integration, improving educational outcomes, and addressing the needs of modern Muslim communities within Indonesia.

Digital transformation in educational services is an important need to improve efficiency and user satisfaction, especially in Islamic boarding schools. One of these innovations is the SISANTRI application used at the Darussalam Blokagung Islamic Boarding School, Banyuwangi, to facilitate the management of information and transactions for guardians of students. However, the effectiveness of this application still faces challenges, such as stagnation in feature development and negative reviews from users. This study aims to analyze the influence of E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust on E-Customer Satisfaction. Then, analyze the influence of E-Servqual, E-WOM, E-Trust, and E-Customer Satisfaction on customer loyalty. And analyze the role of E-Customer Satisfaction as a mediator of the influence of E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust on customer loyalty. The research method used is exploratory research and a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 364 guardians of students selected using the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The research instrument uses a Likert scale to measure research variables. Then, the collected data is analyzed through several stages, namely determining the value of the variables, testing the research instrument (validity and reliability tests), path analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method, hypothesis testing, and path calculations. The results of the study showed that E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust significantly influenced E-Customer Satisfaction. In addition, E-Servqual, E-WOM, E-Trust, and E-Customer Satisfaction significantly influenced customer loyalty. Then, customer satisfaction was not able to be a mediating variable between E-Servqual, E-WOM, E-Trust, and customer loyalty, but still contributed to loyalty directly. It can be concluded that improving E-Servqual, E-WOM, and E-Trust is very important to strengthen E-Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty, although E-Customer Satisfaction does not mediate the relationship. Further development should be focused on improving these three main factors that affect customer loyalty.

Entrepreneurship education in Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) plays a strategic role in equipping students (santri) with relevant skills amidst the challenges of the global economy, particularly in addressing the persistently high unemployment rate in Indonesia, which reached 5.86% in 2023. This article explores how Pondok Pesantren Assuniyyah Kencong Jember taps into the creative potential of its students through an entrepreneurship education approach. The research employs qualitative methods to understand the dynamics of the entrepreneurship learning process. Through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, it was found that the integration of entrepreneurship education into the curriculum not only enhances technical and managerial skills but also encourages students to think creatively and innovatively in response to economic challenges. The purpose of this study is to examine how Islamic educational goals have evolved and how they relate to the times. This study employs descriptive qualitative methodologies and includes direct observation and in-depth interviews in a number of Islamic educational establishments, such as schools and Islamic boarding schools. Teachers, school administrators, and students from different backgrounds make up the research subjects. The survey's conclusions demonstrate how the objectives of Islamic education have changed, now include not just the study of religious science but also the cultivation of character, life skills, and critical thinking abilities. But there are a number of obstacles in the way of achieving this objective, such as divergent interpretations of Islamic teachings, the impact of globalization, and a lack of public support. The study suggests that in order to address these issues, more comprehensive curricular revisions, teacher training, and enhanced community-education cooperation are required. It is anticipated that this study will offer insightful information for the creation of contemporary, pertinent, and sustainable Islamic education.

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a strategic role in developing human resources that are not only religiously competent but also economically independent. In addressing the challenges of globalization, pesantren independence can be strengthened through entrepreneurship programs that provide economic benefits, empower students (santri), and contribute to the surrounding community. This study focuses on analyzing the entrepreneurship programs at Pondok Pesantren Al Kautsar 561, which include biofloc tilapia farming and melon cultivation in greenhouses, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection involved focus group discussions (FGD) with foundation administrators, teachers, students, and the local community. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship programs enhance pesantren independence by generating additional income, which is utilized for scholarships and operational activities. Entrepreneurship training equips students with practical skills in agribusiness and aquaculture, such as biofloc systems and greenhouse technology. Furthermore, these programs strengthen the relationship between pesantren and the community through community-based economic collaboration, creating job opportunities and improving local economic resilience. However, challenges such as limited resources and access to technology persist. Solutions include establishing strategic partnerships with external parties and providing training in digital marketing to ensure program sustainability.
