Reading interest plays a crucial role in students' cognitive development and academic achievement. However, the low access to interesting reading materials and the lack of library facilities are the main obstacles in improving the literacy of elementary school students. This study aims to identify the impact of educational-based library revitalization on increasing students' interest in reading at SDN Sukolilo 01. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a spiral approach from Kemmis and Taggart, which includes planning, action, observation and reflection. The implementation of the creative library program included library rearrangement, interactive reading, and literacy activities. The results showed a significant increase in library visits, book borrowing and student participation in literacy activities. The main obstacles faced were the limited book collection and students' low interest in non-fiction books. Therefore, there is a need for collection enrichment and innovative strategies to sustain the reading culture in the long term. This study contributes to providing recommendations for schools in creating a more interactive and sustainable literacy environment.

Multiple nutrition remains a major problem in Indonesia, including among school-age children, which can affect the quality of human resources in the future. School-age children are a group that is vulnerable to nutritional problems because they need diverse food intake for optimal growth and development. The purpose of this activity is to determine the difference in students' knowledge about balanced nutrition before and after being given education through my nutrition diary media at SDS IT ALWahdah Kendari in 2024. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed both before and after education, using the Diari Giziku book media. Students who will receive education are 35 students. The assessment results of the paired sample t-test test show the p-value of knowledge (0.000) < α (0.05), attitude (0.000) < α (0.05), and motivation (0.000) < α (0.05), meaning that there is a difference in knowledge before and after being given education through my nutrition diary media, therefore it can be concluded that my nutrition diary media is a medium that can increase students' understanding of balanced nutrition.

This study aims to analyze errors in the use of Enhanced Spelling (EYD) in writing explanatory texts by grade 6 elementary school (SD) students. Explanatory text is an important type of text in learning Indonesian, but students often make mistakes in using EYD when writing this text. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with content analysis and interview techniques. Data were obtained from explanatory texts written by 6th grade elementary school students and the results of interviews with the principal, homeroom teacher, and 15 students. The research results show that students still make many mistakes in using EYD, especially in the use of capital letters, punctuation and writing words. This error is caused by students' lack of understanding about EYD, lack of practice in writing explanatory texts, lack of teacher attention to EYD teaching, and lack of support from the home environment. This research recommends that teachers pay more attention to EYD teaching, provide regular explanatory text writing practice to students, increase collaboration with parents, and create a learning environment that is conducive to the development of students' writing skills.

The program Smart Saving Education: Building Financial Habits Among Elementary Students of SDN 168 Sinar Bhakti Village was conducted as part of the 34th Community Service Program (KKN) by Universitas Baturaja. This activity aimed to enhance financial literacy among elementary school students from an early age. The main problem identified is the low awareness among children regarding the importance of saving and prudent money management. This program employed an interactive socialization method involving visual aids, educational games, and group discussions to facilitate understanding. The activity was conducted in a one-day session involving 40 students from grades 4, 5, and 6 of SDN 168 Sinar Bhakti. The results indicated improved understanding among students about the importance of saving, as reflected in their ability to explain the benefits of saving, prioritize needs, and create simple plans to save money. Moreover, most students expressed high enthusiasm to start saving independently. The activity also fostered a culture of discussion among students, teachers, and parents regarding basic financial management. These findings indicate that interactive education approaches are effective in fostering good financial habits among children. This program is expected to be a starting point for the sustainable development of financial literacy among younger generations.

This study aims to explore the concept of habituation in Islamic education as an effective strategy for shaping the character of elementary school students. Through a library research approach, this study analyzes relevant principles of Islamic education and their application in the context of modern education. The findings reveal that habituation based on Islamic values, such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and tolerance, significantly impacts character development in students. Consistently implemented habituation methods, through exemplary practices and daily routines, have proven effective in internalizing these values. Innovations in habituation, such as the integration of digital technology, Qur'anic literacy, and flagship tahfidzul Qur'an programs, strengthen the implementation of character education in elementary schools. However, challenges such as limited resources, parental involvement, and technological adaptation require strategic solutions, including teacher training and multi-stakeholder collaboration. This study emphasizes that habituation in Islamic education is not only relevant but also adaptable to the needs of modern education, making it a transformational strategy for shaping a generation with noble character, knowledge, and integrity.

The consumption of snacks sold outside of school environments contains a lot of sugar, such as artificial sweeteners. Environmental and social factors in schools, like unsupervised off-campus cafeterias, can influence children's food consumption patterns and oral health habits. This study aims to analyze the relationship between snack consumption and dental caries in school children. The research method used is correlation with a cross-sectional approach. A total sampling technique is applied to 80 respondents. Based on the research results, snack consumption is found to be 86.3% in the sufficient category, while 73.8% of respondents are categorized with dental caries. The Spearman rank correlation test resulted in p-value of 0.168 (p > 0.05), indicating that there is no significant relationship between snack consumption and dental caries among third and fourth-grade students. This study suggests that good oral hygiene and promoting healthy snacks should be targeted for preventing dental caries in children.

The following article has the following objectives: (1) to understand the meaning of role playing (2) the purpose of implementing role playing (3) the function and provisions in implementing the role playing model for elementary school students (4) the advantages and disadvantages of using role playing. In implementing role playing, there are quite good benefits for training and increasing creativity and understanding students' learning and mathematical concepts, especially at the elementary level. At that age, a strong understanding is needed because they are not yet able to think abstractly. Therefore, a method is needed that emphasizes the concept so that it is easier for students to learn mathematics. It is also necessary to make more efforts to emphasize understanding the concept so that students have a good enough basis for thinking to achieve other cognitive abilities.

Fine arts learning in elementary schools has an important role in developing students' creativity and artistic spirit. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in shaping the artistic spirit of elementary school students. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group that applies CTL learning and a control group that uses conventional learning methods. The research subjects were students, and the data collection instruments included a drawing test, observation, and questionnaire. To compare the learning outcomes of both groups, the data were analyzed using t-test. The results showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups. Students who followed CTL learning showed improvement in creativity, self-expression, and understanding of fine art concepts compared to the control group. The findings indicate that CTL learning is effective in shaping students' artistic spirit, giving them the opportunity to connect learning materials with daily life through various interesting and challenging activities, which encourage them to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively. In addition, since CTL learning makes students feel more involved and active in the learning process, it can increase their motivation to learn.

Mathematics is one of the main skills taught from elementary school to college, playing a role in developing critical and logical thinking patterns of students. However, many elementary school students have difficulty understanding mathematical concepts, especially spatial figures, due to the lack of supporting learning media. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using Trimatra (three-dimensional) media in mathematics learning in elementary schools. Trimatra media, such as three-dimensional models of spatial figures, allows students to visualize and understand the characteristics and relationships between spatial figures in a concrete manner. The results of the literature study show that Trimatra media not only increases students' knowledge of mathematical concepts, but also motivates students to be actively involved in learning, increases critical thinking skills, and overall learning outcomes.
