The implementation of Parole is part of the guidance efforts based on the request of the convict, by considering the provisions of "Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections, and Government Regulation Number 31 of 1999 concerning Guidance and Guidance of Correctional Inmates, as well as several other implementing regulations. Parole is one of the objectives of the prisoner guidance system which is implemented based on the Correctional system. The goal is to prepare prisoners to be able to integrate with society in a healthy way and return to their role as free and responsible members of society. This process is subject to regulations such as the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number 03 of 2018 concerning the Requirements and Procedures for Granting Remission, Assimilation, Visiting Family Leave, Parole, Leave Before Release, and Conditional Leave. This study aims to analyze the implementation of granting parole to recidivist prisoners in the Class IIA Correctional Institution (Lapas) of Gorontalo City. This study uses a normative-empirical research type in the non-judicial case study category, namely a case study conducted without any conflict, so it does not involve the court. The results of the study indicate that the process of granting parole for recidivist prisoners in Class IIA Penitentiary in Gorontalo City is still faced with various obstacles, including the lack of effective guidance, weak supervision, and inconsistent policies. In addition, there is a negative perception from the community towards granting parole to recidivists, which has an impact on their social reintegration. Based on these findings, it is necessary to review policies and improve guidance and supervision programs for recidivist prisoners to reduce the rate of recidivism and increase the effectiveness of parole as a tool for social reintegration.

The use of fossil energy in the maritime industry has become a major source of carbon emissions and vulnerability to fuel price fluctuations. In an effort to overcome these challenges and move towards a more sustainable future, the use of solar energy has emerged as a significant potential solution. Batam City, with its strategic location and rapidly growing maritime interests, has great potential to adopt solar energy in its maritime operations. This study aims to investigate the potential and challenges of developing solar-based sustainable electrical energy in the maritime sector in Batam City. We identify the most suitable locations for solar panel installations, explore efficient energy storage technologies, and analyze reliable maritime grid system integration. Additionally, we discuss personnel training and environmental awareness efforts necessary to support this transition. This study also reviews the role of policy and regulation in encouraging investment in solar energy and encouraging collaboration with relevant stakeholders. The research results show that the use of solar energy in maritime governance in Batam City can reduce carbon emissions, increase energy security and reduce operational costs in the long term. The percentage of elderly people (seniors) in Indonesia is expected to continue to increase due to various factors, such as declining birth rates and improved life expectancy. Under these circumstances, the integration of seniors in development is crucial. Elderly individuals often experience health-related issues, and ideally, the state should be present to provide adequate health services for them. However, based on the research conducted, there are still many shortcomings in the legal framework to ensure the health and well-being of the elderly. Moreover, the de facto dissolution of the National Commission for the Elderly has created a gap in the entity directly responsible for advocating the development of a healthcare system for seniors. This study was conducted using the normative juridical method, with the main finding that legal reform is necessary to ensure that the current legal product, namely Law No. 13 of 1998 on Elderly Welfare, can be updated and Law No. 17 of 2023 should be revised to ensure better health and welfare for the elderly.

This research focuses on the application of predictive analytics in digital classrooms to track and predict student performance. The study aims to address the limitations of traditional teacher judgment, which often relies on limited data points and subjective assessments. The research proposes a machine learning-driven approach that utilizes data from Learning Management Systems (LMS), including student engagement, academic performance, and attendance, to predict student success or failure with greater accuracy. Various machine learning techniques, such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest (RF), are applied to develop a predictive model that can identify at-risk students early. The findings show that the model achieves an accuracy rate of over 85%, with key predictors including past academic performance and student engagement. This model outperforms traditional assessment methods by providing real-time, data-driven insights that enable timely interventions. The study concludes that predictive analytics has significant potential to enhance educational outcomes by offering personalized support and improving curriculum design. However, challenges such as data integration, fairness, and privacy concerns must be addressed for broader implementation.

Health education is a crucial aspect of guiding learners about health in a broad range, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. Schools, being environments where students are exposed to various hazards, are particularly vulnerable to accidents. First aid education is essential in preventing injuries and ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. This study aims to evaluate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) based First Aid health education on the knowledge of Youth Red Cross (PMR) members at Titian Teras State Senior High School, Jambi City. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with one pretest-posttest group without a control group. A total of 50 PMR members were involved, divided into an intervention group (n=25) and a control group (n=25). The intervention group received AR-based First Aid health education, while the control group received conventional methods. Data collection was conducted using a knowledge assessment tool, and pre- and post-test analyses were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the intervention group's knowledge. After the intervention, 80% of respondents in the intervention group achieved the "good" category, compared to only 36% in the control group. The Mann-Whitney test confirmed the significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05), indicating that the AR-based First Aid health education was more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. This study concludes that AR-based First Aid health education is more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. The integration of AR technology in health education highlights its potential in enhancing learning outcomes and improving the preparedness of students in responding to emergencies. The findings suggest that AR can be a valuable tool in health education, particularly in first aid training, by providing an immersive and interactive learning experience that enhances both knowledge and skills acquisition.

Traffic and road transportation have an important role in supporting national development and integration as part of efforts to advance general welfare as mandated by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The type of research used in this research is empirical juridical research, namely legal research. which is carried out by direct research or secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. Data collection methods are techniques or methods that can be used by researchers to collect data. The data analysis technique used in this legal research uses qualitative analysis.  Based on research that has been carried out, the duties and authority of the Deli Serdang City Traffic Police are fully in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation by ordering and supervising the flow of traffic so that the safety and smoothness of traffic on public roads is maintained. . Various methods and forms of control are carried out by the police, but there are still traffic violators who violate traffic rules. In accordance with Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transport Rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) owned by the Deli Serdang Regency Police Traffic Unit, control is carried out by warning and ticketing vehicles so that a ticket is given. Based on the results of the interviews, researchers could find out that the implementation of legal socialization carried out by law enforcers was not effective because they only socialized it at the school level and in the fields under Deli Serdang, but the people in the villages or sub-districts did not receive this socialization.  Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the obstacles that arise in the implementation of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (Study of Traffic Control in the Legal Area of the Deli Serdang City Police. There are several inhibiting factors that cause the implementation of Law No. 22. 2009 Article 77 Paragraph 1 concerning Traffic and Road Transport Rules for Riding Motorbikes in Deli Serdang Regency and to determine the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of legal regulations regarding the obligation to have a driver's license for driving motorized vehicles when driving in the LLAJ Law
