This research aims to determine the role of PAI teachers in improving students' character and the supporting and inhibiting factors for students at SMK NU Darussalam, Srono District. The research method used in this research is qualitative. This research used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect data. In this research, there are two data sources used, namely primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research results show that the role of PAI teachers at SMK NU Darussalam, Srono District, positively impacts student character formation. Supporting factors include a supportive family environment, facilitating educational institutions, a positive community environment, and supportive technological media. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include an unstable family environment, negative school culture, negative peer influence, and the negative impact of technological media.

Aqidah Akhlak education is the initial education or religious foundation that children must have from an early age, Aqidah Akhlak education in elementary schools has been integrated into Islamic religious education subjects. This is in accordance with the aim of education, namely to make students as human beings who fear God Almighty and have noble character. Aqidah itself refers to belief and faith in Allah SWT and its practice, and morals are habits and behaviors that depart from self-awareness both in human relationships with God, human relations and the natural environment. Character building has a meaning as an effort that is carried out in earnest to form character or behavior that can become a person's characteristics, whereas to form the character of elementary school students is not an easy thing because elementary school students have different characteristics. Therefore, this study aims to determine the extent to which the role of aqeedah moral education plays a role in building the character of elementary school students. The method used in this research is a literature study method by reviewing journals and previous research using content analysis techniques. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that aqidah moral education has a very important role in building the character of elementary school students.

The purpose of this research is to explain the role of religious education in helping the process of character formation of students at Madinatussalam Private MTs. Qualitative descriptive research method. In the process of collecting data, using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Meanwhile, for the analysis, qualitative descriptive analysis techniques are used, namely in the form of written or verbal data from people and observed behavior so that in this case the author attempts to conduct research that thoroughly describes the actual situation. The author can conclude the results of this research as follows: First, the school's efforts to realize character education are: 1) conducting Islamic studies; 2) take advantage of the commemoration of Islamic Holidays (PHBI); 3) oblige and get used to saying hello and shaking hands with teachers; 4) oblige and make it a habit to always comply with the rules and culture at school; 5) make it mandatory and get used to always praying in congregation when at school. Second, the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in forming student character: 1) maximizing the delivery of Islamic religious education material; 2) instilling the Islamic style of Ahlusunnah Waljama'ah; 3) Islamic religious education teachers must be active and be role models for their students in applying character education. Third, the strategies carried out by Islamic religious education teachers: 1) use of effective learning approach methods; 2) use of discussion and demonstration methods.

This research examines the law of studying science in article 1, that science is always developing until now. This study aims to understand the general view of the obligation to study knowledge, hadith about the obligation to study knowledge, and how the ethics of studying knowledge. This study concludes that the law of studying knowledge explains that studying knowledge is one of the most important parts of human life, without knowledge humans will not be able to develop. Demanding knowledge is also considered as a starting point in fostering awareness in behavior. Moreover, in the concept of Islam there is a belief that emphasizes that learning is an obligation and sinful for those who leave it. This belief is so shaping in believers, so they have a high learning ethos and are full of enthusiasm and expect God's “sublime promise” as said in His verse.

The Ta'lim Muta'alim discusses earnestness, continuity, and lofty ideals. In this chapter, it is recommended to aspire to be noble in knowledge and have sincerity in learning. The lofty ideals recommended in this chapter involve exerting one's utmost effort, supporting oneself, and avoiding laziness. The seeker of knowledge must be earnest and continuous in learning. On the other hand, in order for success to be achieved, it is necessary for all three parties: the student, the teacher, and the parents. Students should be able to learn and repeat lessons continuously. The approach used in this journal is library research, which is entirely a search for reading materials that are library in nature, recording, reading and analyzing books, articles, and literature that have a relationship with the title of the study in this journal.From the explanation above, it can be concluded that a student who is serious about his aspirations must learn by repeating knowledge continuously. Students should repeat knowledge at the beginning of the night and the end of the night because at that time there is a blessing for the one who learns. At night students will be able to concentrate because there are no crowds.

Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu bagian yang berpengaruh dalam mengembangkan edukasi agama. Peran mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan edukasi agama sangat penting karena mereka merupakan agen perubahan sosial yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dapat mempengaruhi masyarakat di lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan edukasi agama dalam konteks masyarakat modern. Di zaman sekarang, nilai-nilai keagamaan sering dihadapkan pada tantangan dan perubahan, di mana era yang semakin modern, banyak generasi muda tidak tertarik dengan meningkatkan kapasitas pengetahuan dalam ilmu agama. mahasiswa dianggap sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang memiliki potensi besar untuk memengaruhi masyarakat sekitarnya agar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran pentingnya ilmu agama. This article discusses the ideology of Muhammadiyah, the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia which was founded by KH. Ahmad Dahlan in 1912. Muhammadiyah ideology focuses on purifying Islamic teachings, with the aim of returning religious practices to the Koran and Sunnah of the Prophet. Throughout its journey, Muhammadiyah has also adopted a modern and progressive approach in the fields of education, health and social welfare. This article explores the basic principles of Muhammadiyah ideology, including the concepts of purification (tajdid) and renewal (islah), as well as their implementation in various social programs and activities. Apart from that, the challenges and adaptations of this ideology in facing social, political and cultural dynamics in Indonesia are also discussed. Through this analysis, this article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the contribution and relevance of Muhammadiyah ideology in the context of modern society.

This study examines the positive factors of Western culture that contribute to enhancing Islamic religious education. Western culture brings forth various influences that can positively impact the development of Islamic religious education. The study explores factors such as increased access to information, innovative educational approaches, critical thinking, and the promotion of pluralism and tolerance. These factors provide opportunities for Muslims to broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings through wider access to information, engaging educational methods, and the development of critical thinking skills. Additionally, Western culture's emphasis on pluralism and tolerance can contribute to fostering a more inclusive and harmonious environment within Islamic religious education. By analyzing and utilizing these positive factors, Islamic religious education can be enriched and made more relevant in the context of contemporary challenges while upholding the core values of Islam.

Teachers often encounter many obstacles when writing scientific articles. One of them is limited knowledge about how to write scientific papers and how to use reference applications. Another obstacle is the lack of motivation, especially to produce quality scientific papers. Limited access to good literature also poses obstacles in the writing process. In fact, legally, teachers are regulated to be able to develop their competence and professionalism, one of which is by writing. This activity is a solution to these problems with a participatory approach aimed at overcoming a problem encountered by teachers. The results of the activity are shown by the enthusiasm of teachers in learning scientific writing which will later be given a container in the form of a journal for publication of their writings.

This research aims to examine Hamka's views on neo-Sufism and understand how he views this phenomenon from a religious, social and intellectual perspective. Hamka, as one of the Islamic reformers in Indonesia, tried to harmonize the exoteric (natali) and esoteric (batini) aspects in his teachings. He offers a concept of Sufism that prioritizes cleanliness of the heart and seeks to synergize social and spiritual elements. This research uses a qualitative research design with a content analysis method. The data analyzed includes descriptions and opinions from books written by Hamka as well as discussions of thoughts written by them and others. Through this analysis, the researcher seeks to understand the complexity of the relationship between religious traditions and the challenges of modernity in Hamka's view of neo-Sufism. The results of the research show that Hamka criticizes certain aspects of neo-Sufism which he considers to be contrary to true Islamic teachings, such as mystical practices that have no basis in the Koran and Sunnah, as well as excessive emphasis on spiritual experiences without being based on solid religious knowledge. Hamka emphasized the importance of knowledge, education and spiritual guidance in achieving a correct understanding of Islam and the practice of Sufism in accordance with Islamic values. Hamka's views on neo-Sufism also reflect his concern about the social and cultural changes of his time. He offers active, dynamic and progressive Sufism as a solution to the spiritual crisis of modern humans. Hamka emphasized the need for stronger and more dynamic involvement in society, as well as maintaining a balance between worldly life and the afterlife. This research provides insight into the complexity of the relationship between religious traditions and the challenges of modernity within the framework of Hamka's thinking, as well as the importance of maintaining the integrity of Islamic teachings in facing the dynamics of changing times. The study of Hamka's views on neo-Sufism provides an important basis for understanding the religious and intellectual dynamics in contemporary Islam.

Practical Lectures and Community Service (KPPM) is a form of student service required by IAKN Tarutung, which is carried out in semester VI and lasts for three months. This program aims to improve community welfare and make the nation's life smarter through social activities that use science and technology. In Sipahutar Village, Sipoholon District, KPPM activities are carried out with the aim of increasing children's learning motivation through private tutoring programs, encouraging a spirit of mutual cooperation with the community, and holding healthy exercise with PKK mothers. The research method used involved two main stages: initial observation to identify educational problems in schools, and implementation of a free private tutoring program every Friday for 120 minutes for elementary school children. Apart from that, mutual cooperation activities and healthy exercise with PKK mothers were carried out as part of efforts to improve community welfare and health.The results of KPPM activities show that private tutoring has succeeded in increasing children's interest and motivation in learning in Sipahutar Village. An interactive learning approach adapted to school subjects helps children understand the material more easily. Mutual cooperation carried out with the community shows an increase in togetherness and citizen participation in social activities. Meanwhile, regularly held healthy exercise improves the fitness and health of PKK women, as well as strengthening social relations between them. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes the important role of students in serving society through education, health and other social activities. The KPPM program in Sipahutar Village has succeeded in creating positive change by involving all levels of society in a joint effort to improve welfare and education.

The Qur'an as a beacon of life for Muslims has holiness, authenticity and breadth of discussion that never dries up, in fact it cannot be refuted in line with advances in science and technology. The existence of the Al-Qur'an revealed by Allah as a revelation to the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the form of a mushaf has very interesting and complex dynamics to be studied and practiced as a guide to mankind. The word tarbiyah is used for a broader meaning, namely the process of coaching and direction for the formation of personality and mental attitudes, while the word taklim is used for a more specific meaning, namely the process of providing provisions in the form of knowledge and skills and ta'dib is the material taught including language lessons, speech lessons. , good writing lessons, history lessons about heroes and great commanders in order to absorb the experience of their success, swimming, archery and horse riding (skills lessons). Based on the terms above, education according to the Qur'an is formulated as an effort carried out in a planned and gradual manner to provide knowledge, skills and mental attitudes to students as provisions for carrying out their duties as servants and caliphs of Allah on earth. Folklore is part of cultural history that reflects the past and thoughts of the community, passed down from generation to generation orally or in writing, and contains various values of life. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a structural approach, aiming to analyze the religious values contained in the folklore “Sunan Muria Mosque” contained in the book “East Coast Folklore” by Mohammad Kanzunnudin, published by CV Adhigama in 2024. The data is a fragment of the story “Masjid Sunan Muria”. The research data are facts about the structure and religious values found in the folklore. The data collection technique used reading and listening methods. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman method which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the folklore “Masjid Sunan Muria” contains motifs of shortcomings and shortcomings that can be overcome as well as exemplary religious values, including aspects of belief, worship, knowledge, and practice. Sunan Muria, the main character in the story, shows a strong belief in the teachings of Islam and his ability to practice these values in real actions. The implication of this research is to provide inspiration and learning about the importance of religious values in everyday life and how these values can be applied for the common good.

This study aims to determine the implementation of innovative office management practices at MTs Al Washliyah Kolam with a focus on creating a creative and adaptive organisational culture. This research uses qualitative research methods, with interview techniques as data collection. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of an open and transparent management system and promoting effective two-way communication are important factors in encouraging a creative and adaptive organisational culture. Specifically, the study found that implementing an office management structure that reduces hierarchy and encourages cross-disciplinary teamwork can increase employee engagement, creativity and innovation. Furthermore, this research shows that developing a learning organisation culture that encourages continuous learning and sharing is essential to support innovation and adaptability. The results of this study provide valuable information for organisations looking to create a creative and adaptive organisational culture.

Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia have experienced various challenges and changes along with the times. One of the challenges faced is the emergence of a capitalistic economy which emphasizes aspects of competition, efficiency and profit orientation. This research aims to explore how Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions adapt to a capitalistic economy without sacrificing the values ​​and basic principles of Islamic teachings. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved participant observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies at several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The research results show that Islamic boarding schools have implemented various adaptation strategies, such as diversifying funding sources, implementing modern management, and developing business units that are in line with Islamic values. However, Islamic boarding schools also face challenges in maintaining a balance between spiritual and economic aspects, as well as maintaining the distinctive identity and characteristics of Islamic boarding schools. This research contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of Islamic educational institutions in facing global economic changes and provides recommendations for future policy and practice.

In this digital era, social media has become an integral part of people's lives, offering opportunities for connection and self-expression. However, excessive use of social media can have a negative impact on mental health, giving rise to the phenomena of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and JOMO (Joy of Missing Out). FOMO describes the anxiety and fear of being left behind by the latest information or trends, which can trigger anxiety and depression. In contrast, JOMO is the happy feeling of being free from the stress of social media, which increases happiness and mental well-being. This research analyzes the psychological factors underlying FOMO and JOMO, as well as their impact on mental well-being, through a communication psychology approach. The method used is literature study and in-depth interviews to collect empirical data. The results showed that FOMO increased anxiety and depression, while JOMO increased happiness and gratitude. Strategies to reduce FOMO and promote JOMO involve limiting time on social media use and practicing mindfulness.

Semarang State Polytechnic as a tertiary institution implementing the Tri Darma of Higher Education through the 2023 Competitive Community Service program sees several problems faced by UMKM partners, where the service partner who collaborates with us is Mang Ngat UMKM, one of whose businesses is engaged in making salted eggs, where One of the problems faced is that there is no egg washing machine that replaces manual washing of salted eggs, but this problem can be resolved with the provision or donation of a salted egg washing machine in the first stage. The next problem faced by Mang Ngat UMKM service activity partners is that they require knowledge of the machine operation process according to procedures so that the operation is safer for the operator and the machine. Apart from that, Mang Ngat UMKM also need knowledge of the maintenance process for the salted egg washing machine so that the machine can last longer. long. With these problems, in the follow-up activities of Community Service to Mang Ngat UMKM after the provision or grant of egg washing machines, follow-up activities were carried out, namely by carrying out training on the operation and maintenance of salted egg washing machines at Mang Ngat UMKM in the Rasamala market, Srondol Wetan housing complex, Banyumanik sub-district, Semarang city, with After carrying out training on the operation and maintenance of salted egg washing machines, it is hoped that the salted egg washing machines can be operated safely by Mang Ngat UMKM and maintenance can be carried out properly so that the salted egg washing machines can increase their service life.
