The toilet training program for blind students at the State Special School (SKhN) 01 Pandegelang is an important aspect in the development of basic life skills. Blind students need to be trained systematically and continuously. This study used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students and parents, and documentation of the learning program implemented at the school. The results of the study indicate that the toilet training program at SKh Negeri 01 Pandegelang has been designed based on the individual needs of students, by implementing routine-based learning strategies, positive reinforcement, and the use of learning media that can be accessed tactilely and auditorily. Obstacles faced in the implementation of the program include limited special educators, lack of supporting facilities. Nevertheless, this program has a positive impact on increasing the independence of blind students in terms of personal hygiene, discipline, and self-confidence. The conclusion of this study shows that the success of the toilet training program is greatly influenced by teacher involvement, collaboration with parents, and adaptation of learning methods that are appropriate to the characteristics and needs of blind students. Researchers recommend strengthening teacher training, providing disability-friendly facilities, and regular program evaluations to improve optimal results

Angka kematian ibu (AKI) di Indonesia masih tinggi, salah satunya dipicu oleh komplikasi kehamilan akibat kekurangan gizi. Rendahnya literasi nutrisi pada ibu hamil berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya risiko preeklamsia, anemia, dan bayi berat lahir rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi nutrisi ibu hamil melalui pendampingan berbasis media kalender makanan sebagai alat bantu edukasi sederhana dan aplikatif. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di Kantor Desa Bungaejaya, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, dengan melibatkan 10 orang ibu hamil. Kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh kepala desa, bidan desa, kader kesehatan, dan mitra Dompet Dhuafa. Metode kegiatan mencakup penyuluhan nutrisi kehamilan, pelatihan penggunaan kalender makanan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman ibu hamil mengenai kebutuhan gizi selama kehamilan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa edukasi visual berbasis komunitas efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran nutrisi pada ibu hamil serta meningkatkan kemampuan ibu dalam mengidentifikasi nutrisi tepat sehari-hari selama hamil.

This study aims to describe the use of the innovative Periscope Grid media based on hybrid learning in two-dimensional drawing lessons for elementary students. The media was designed to help students understand perspective and proportion concepts by combining a manual transparent grid frame with digital features accessed through QR codes linked to tutorial videos, artwork galleries, and reflective learning materials. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving fourth-grade elementary students. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of students’ artwork. The data were analyzed interactively using reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The findings reveal that the Periscope Grid effectively enhances students’ ability to observe, replicate, and draw proportional two-dimensional objects while promoting collaboration through digital gallery activities. Moreover, the media helps teachers explain perspective concepts more easily and fosters students’ active participation. It can be concluded that Periscope Grid serves as an effective, engaging, and integrative learning medium suitable for 21st-century visual art education in elementary schools.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan kreatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi, membaca, dan menulis anak di Pondok Baca Senja Papua Cerdas, Manokwari. Sasaran kegiatan adalah anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dan prasekolah yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan belajar di pondok baca tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kreatif melalui aktivitas bermain sambil belajar, media visual interaktif, serta kegiatan membaca dan menulis bersama yang menyenangkan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, catatan kegiatan, dan dokumentasi aktivitas belajar. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan numerasi, membaca, dan menulis anak serta antusiasme yang lebih tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kreatif efektif mendukung perkembangan numerasi dan literasi anak secara simultan.

Drug abuse (Narcotics, Psychotropics, and other Addictive Substances) is a serious problem that can threaten the younger generation, especially in the Panggung Kidul Village area. The lack of public understanding, especially teenagers, regarding the dangers and negative impacts of drug abuse is one of the factors that influence the high risk of substance abuse. Therefore, innovative and interactive educational media are needed to increase public awareness and understanding regarding the prevention of drug abuse. This study offers a solution by designing and developing educational media based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a visual and interactive tool that conveys information in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner. The use of smartphones as the main device in AR applications makes this media more easily accessible to various groups of people. The test results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed a user satisfaction level of 96% which is included in the Acceptable category. Thus, this AR-based educational media is expected to be an effective means of increasing public understanding of the dangers of drug abuse and encouraging early preventive efforts.

The coffee industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly and encouraging coffee shops, including MSMEs, to strengthen their branding strategies through digital media. This study aims to design and evaluate Instagram social media content to increase brand awareness of Kamala Kopi, a local coffee shop in Gunungpati, Semarang. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) with stages of concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The content produced consists of music videos, promotional posters, and menu visuals, which were then tested through internal and external validation, as well as a questionnaire administered to 68 respondents. The research results showed a positive and significant influence of Instagram content on brand awareness of 1.007 with a coefficient of determination of 90.4%. These findings confirm that content on Instagram social media plays an important role in strengthening the visibility of SME brands and can be an effective strategy to increase brand awareness.

This study aimed to design the visual identity of the social campaign FLOW (Find Lights Over Wounds) to promote early awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among Generation Z. A mixed method approach was applied to explore perceptions, knowledge, and the need for empathetic and communicative educational media. Data were collected through online questionnaires from 108 respondents and in-depth interviews with psychologists, psychiatrists, and PTSD survivors. The findings indicated that Generation Z required visual media that conveyed mental health messages safely and meaningfully. The FLOW logo was developed through brainstorming, sketching, and expert validation, featuring a heart and hands symbolizing empathy and healing. Soft blue, pink, and pastel yellow colors were used to create a calm, warm, and hopeful impression. The campaign effectively fostered emotional awareness and encouraged help-seeking behavior among young audiences.

Advances in digital technology provide numerous opportunities to improve the quality of education, particularly in Social Studies (IPS) learning at the elementary school level. One important innovation is the use of digital interactive map media that enables students to learn geography in a visual, engaging, and relevant way. However, in practice, IPS learning in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional methods that rely on static printed maps, resulting in low student motivation and suboptimal understanding of geographic concepts, particularly those related to the ASEAN region. This study aims to evaluate the impact of using digital interactive map media on learning motivation and understanding of ASEAN geographic concepts among elementary school students. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach following the PRISMA 2020 procedure. The research findings indicate that consistent use of digital interactive map media can improve students' motivation in learning and their understanding of geographic concepts. Interactive visualizations encourage active engagement and enthusiasm, and help students better understand spatial concepts. Therefore, digital interactive maps can be an innovative and effective social studies learning option that aligns with the principles of the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile.

The development of the laundry business requires an effective visual communication strategy to build brand image and competitiveness. This study aims to design a visual branding strategy for Titu Binatu, a laundry UMKM in Tembalang, Semarang. Through a visual communication design approach, this study analyzes visual identity elements such as logos, colors, typography, and promotional media in shaping consumer perceptions. The method used is qualitative through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that Titu Binatu needs a strong visual identity and appropriate promotion to reach the market, especially students and workers. Strengthening branding with offline and online media is needed so that visual branding becomes a strategic tool in business development in the digital era.

The development of digital technology has transformed how businesses build brand image through social media. This study aims to determine the role of creative content in enhancing the brand awareness of Sopiri Driving School through social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) adapted from the Borg & Gall model, consisting of problem identification, design, development, testing, and evaluation stages. The study produced two promotional videos of 30 seconds each. The results showed that implementing creative content with storytelling and dynamic visuals significantly increased brand awareness. Trial data revealed that social media followers increased by more than 90%, and the engagement rate rose from 3.5% to 8.2% after the content was published. Moreover, 83% of survey respondents stated they recognized Sopiri Driving School after watching the promotional videos. The study concludes that creative content plays an essential role in building a professional brand image and attracting audiences through social media. An effective content strategy not only serves as a promotional tool but also as an interactive communication medium that strengthens the emotional bond between the brand and its audience.

The development of digital technology has changed the paradigm of MSME businesses, including in building brand image. This study analyzes strategies for enhancing brand image through digital business at Ayam Celup Juaro’s MSMEs in Medan City. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results show that multi-platform digital integration (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp) is effective in building brand image. Instagram serves as a medium for visual representation of the brand, TikTok as a driver for acquiring new customers through viral content, and WhatsApp as a means of personal communication to maintain customer loyalty. The key factors for success are content consistency and timely service. The main obstacles faced are budget constraints and challenges in maintaining content consistency. This research provides practical contributions for SMEs in developing integrated digital strategies to enhance brand image in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

The rapid development of digital technology has positioned social media, particularly Instagram, as a strategic channel for brands to conduct digital marketing and brand activation. This quantitative survey research aims to analyze the influence of Instagram content appeal (X) on the audience's interest in participating in the Marina Beauty Journey (Y) program. The study collected data from 100 female followers of the @sahabatmarina account, aged 15-25, who had been exposed to MBJ promotional content. Data analysis utilized simple linear regression. The descriptive analysis results showed that the appeal of @sahabatmarina’s content was perceived as Very High (Mean: 4.41), with Visual and Emotional indicators being the most dominant (Mean: 4.50), reflecting the effectiveness of aesthetic visuals and self-empowerment messaging. The audience's interest in joining the program was also categorized as Very High (Mean: 4.23), primarily demonstrated through the Interaction indicator (Mean: 4.33). The regression analysis confirmed a positive and significant influence of content appeal on audience interest, as indicated by a significance value of p<0.001 and a positive coefficient (beta = 0.622). The coefficient of determination (R2) indicated that content appeal contributed 41.0% to the formation of audience interest, while the remaining 59.0% was influenced by other external factors. In conclusion, the brand's digital content strategy, emphasizing strong visual and emotional connection, is highly effective in driving audience engagement and stimulating participation in its brand activation programs.

This study aims to find out how Instagram is used by the Demak Regency Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Office as a source of information for employees. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach conducted from 1–30 August 2025. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of the agency's Instagram account. The results of the study show that Instagram is used as a means of publishing official activities and information, but it is not optimal due to limited human resources, a long upload process, and monotonous content. Based on the theory of Uses and Gratifications and Media Richness Theory, the effectiveness of digital communication requires the ability to present interesting and relevant information so that the message conveyed can meet the needs of internal audiences. Other findings show that some employees have not made Instagram the main source of information due to a lack of content updates and a lack of visual variation. Therefore, it is recommended that social media management be carried out more professionally through improving admin competence, content calendar planning, and better internal coordination to ensure the consistency and quality of published information. Thus, Instagram can function more optimally as an official communication medium.

Education is a fundamental right that must be fought for by every child in the nation, and throughout its development, it continues to undergo innovations and evaluations toward better quality. One educational model that is growing in Indonesia is the boarding school system, which has its own characteristics, advantages, and challenges. This study aims to describe the social studies (IPS) teachers’ strategies in boarding school–based learning, the implementation of IPS learning within the boarding school environment, and the obstacles faced by IPS teachers at MTs Darul Hikmah. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The study was conducted at Pondok Modern Darul Hikmah Tulungagung, with seventh-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show several factors that influence the low effectiveness of IPS learning in boarding schools, including the dense institutional activity schedule that reduces students’ learning focus, teachers’ limited mastery of the subject matter and classroom management, and the dual curriculum implemented simultaneously within the institution. Efforts to improve IPS learning effectiveness include enhancing teacher discipline when entering and leaving the classroom, utilizing audio-visual learning media, and connecting learning materials with current issues to make the lessons more relevant and engaging. Furthermore, the study reveals several advantages of boarding school–based education, such as fostering students’ independence, developing social awareness, providing deeper religious instruction, and integrating both general and religious education. Thus, IPS learning in boarding schools has the potential to develop more optimally with the support of appropriate learning strategies and more structured institutional management.

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the digital literacy of children at SDN Mranggon Lawang II by teaching them how to find accurate information and know the dangers of hoaxes. In order for children to use technology wisely, they must be taught important digital literacy from an early age. This activity was carried out through interactive lectures and Q&A discussions for seven days in August 2024. In addition to examples of simple false information, the material includes differences of opinion and facts, there were 13 children who participated showing a high level of enthusiasm during the activity. However, there are obstacles regarding language that hinder understanding that can be overcome through communication techniques and visual media. The results of the activity show that children better understand the importance of critical thinking when getting information. This activity is expected to increase knowledge about digital literacy and encourage smart media behavior.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the learning patterns of Generation Z, who tend to be visual, quick in accessing information, and highly engaged with interactive media. These characteristics pose challenges for history learning, which is often perceived as monotonous and focused on memorization. This study aims to examine the needs, urgency, and strategies for developing history teaching materials that are relevant and effective for Generation Z in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through library research, the findings indicate that effective history materials should integrate digital media, apply active learning models, and connect historical content with students’ real-life experiences. Teachers play a key role as innovators by utilizing digital storytelling, virtual tours, gallery walks, and gamification. Integrating local history and national values is also essential to strengthen students’ national identity. This study emphasizes that developing digital history teaching materials is not merely about adopting technology but about creating meaningful, reflective, and generation-appropriate learning experiences.

Health communication and community empowerment are crucial for improving health outcomes at the primary health care level. As a primary health care facility, the Empat Ulu Community Health Center in Palembang plays a strategic role in disseminating health information, strengthening community capacity, and promoting healthy lifestyles through various educational activities. The Field Learning Practice (PBL) activity, conducted by students within the community health center's work area, aimed to strengthen the implementation of health communication, particularly in promoting Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in elementary schools. The methods used included field observation, discussions, face-to-face counseling, handwashing demonstrations, and the distribution of educational media. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of PHBS, demonstrated by their ability to answer questions, practice handwashing correctly, and their enthusiasm during interactive sessions. This activity not only strengthened students' knowledge but also demonstrated that a two-way communication approach and the use of simple visual media can enhance the effectiveness of health education. Overall, this PBL activity contributed to supporting the community health promotion program and strengthened the role of students in encouraging community self-reliance in maintaining health.

The educational transformation driven by Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 requires teachers’ digital pedagogical competence. Preliminary observations at SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, revealed a skills gap: conventional practices dominate while digital platforms remain underutilized. This community engagement program sought to bridge the gap through intensive training on Canva for visual learning media and Quizizz for gamified assessment. Conducted in August 2025 with 10 teachers across subjects, the program employed a participatory, four-stage procedure: preparation; socialization and pretest; training and coaching; and evaluation and posttest. Data were collected via observation, questionnaires, and knowledge tests, and analyzed descriptively and comparatively. Results indicate a marked improvement in teachers’ digital competence: the average score increased from 45 (pretest) to 85 (posttest), an 88.9% gain. By indicator, improvements reached 112.5% for understanding Canva features, 95.5% for digital learning media creation, and 64% for using Quizizz. Qualitatively, teachers produced engaging posters/infographics and slide presentations and designed interactive quizzes with instant feedback, fostering more varied and participatory classroom dynamics. The training effectively enhanced teachers’ digital literacy and confidence and supported a role shift from content deliverers to creative facilitators within student-centered learning. Replication and sustained coaching are recommended to consolidate a school-wide digital learning ecosystem.

This study aims to analyze the use of video media in visualizing Islamic values in the teaching of Aqidah and Akhlak at MA Al Manshuriyah Pagelaran. The study is grounded in the need for a more contextual, engaging, and relevant learning approach for the digital generation, particularly in delivering concepts such as monotheism, proper conduct, and social morality. A descriptive quantitative method was employed involving 24 students using questionnaires and classroom observations. The findings indicate that video media enhances student engagement, clarifies the understanding of abstract concepts, and fosters a more interactive learning atmosphere. The visualization of Islamic values through video enables students to comprehend commendable behavior more concretely and in relation to their daily experiences. The study implies that video-based learning is an effective strategy to strengthen value internalization in Aqidah and Akhlak teaching and is recommended for continuous integration into instructional practices.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) berbasis audio-visual menggunakan kesenian Madihin dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi teks tanggapan, serta menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 14 Banjarmasin dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah pengajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas 7 yang menerapkan inovasi pembelajaran CRT berbasis budaya lokal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner daring yang disebarkan menggunakan Google Formulir, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CRT dengan media Madihin mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, membangun keterlibatan aktif, serta menumbuhkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran. Inovasi ini juga mampu menghubungkan materi pelajaran dengan latar belakang budaya siswa sehingga menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna. Kendala teknis terkait keterbatasan akses teknologi berhasil diatasi melalui strategi kolaboratif dalam kelas. Secara keseluruhan, pendekatan CRT berbasis audio-visual Madihin terbukti efektif dan layak dikembangkan sebagai model pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap keberagaman budaya di Indonesia.
