This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic education in the teachings of Tarjumah Jam'iyah Rifa'iyah in Luwihan Hamlet, Kalikajar District, Wonosobo Regency. Qualitative setting field research takes the object of the implementation of Islamic education in the teachings of Tarjumah Jam'iyah Rifa'iyah, located in Luwihan Hamlet, Kalikajar District, Wonosobo Regency for two months from March to April 2025, with research subjects including the congregation of the sect, community leaders, and religious leaders. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation to then be analyzed descriptively. The results of the research show that the Tarjumah teachings are a legacy of K.H. Ahmad Rifa'i's thoughts which emphasize three main principles in Islamic education, namely the formation of strong faith, the development of noble morals (akhlaqul karimah), and the practice of Islamic law as a whole (kaffah). This concept not only emphasizes theoretical or cognitive aspects, but also focuses on the formation of real character and behavior in accordance with Islamic values in everyday life. The implementation of Islamic education in this teaching is carried out through various religious activities that are integrated with community life, such as regular religious studies in mosques, prayer rooms, or residents' homes, with the main material in the form of Javanese tarjumah books containing Islamic teachings in the form of nadham, including aqidah, worship, muamalah, and manners. In addition, the implementation of congregational worship such as the five daily prayers, dhuha prayers, and dhikr activities, are also effective educational media. This fact shows the harmony between teaching, habituation, and exemplary behavior, where Islamic values are not only taught, but are manifested in social interactions in society through joint religious activities, traditions of mutual assistance, concern for the environment, and efforts to maintain social harmony. Thus, Islamic education in the teachings of Tarjumah Jam’iyah Rifa’iyah has proven to be able to form a society that is religious, has character, and consistently practices Islamic teachings in everyday life. This finding leads to the direction of future research to examine more widely the comparative implementation of tarjumah teachings in other regions and its impact on positive social change in more depth.

The Book of Psalms is an important part of the Old Testament worship and theology tradition, reflecting the dynamics of human emotions in their relationship with God. Psalms 146-150 specifically highlight aspects of prayer and praise as expressions of joyful and hopeful faith. This study aims to interpret theologically how these five psalms describe the emotional response of believers to the work and character of God. With an exegetical and biblical theological approach, this study finds that Psalms 146-150 form a climax in the structure of the Book of Psalms, emphasizing the supremacy of praise as the primary form of worship. In addition, this study highlights how the emotional aspects of these psalms function not only as a reflection of individual faith experiences but also as a collective appeal for the community of believers. Thus, Psalms 146-150 emphasize that prayer and praise are the primary means of expressing the relationship between humans and God, while inspiring a spiritual life centered on worship.

The Great Mosque of Tegal City is a historic building that has undergone numerous renovations since its establishment in 1825-1830. These renovations aimed not only to meet the functional and capacity needs of worshippers but also reflected modern architectural trends, occasionally compromising historical elements. This study employs a qualitative approach using documentation, observation, and literature synthesis methods to analyze the mosque's architectural changes. Using John Obert Voll's "continuity and change" theory, the research identifies the preserved original architectural elements and the modifications made. The findings reveal that while several original features, such as the mosque's core structure, remain intact, significant changes in renovations—such as the addition of floors, towers, and alterations to the gate design—have impacted the mosque's historical and aesthetic values. The study recommends the preservation of historical elements to maintain the mosque's cultural identity.

It is essential to have a correct understanding of the true meaning of worship, according to Psalm 95:6-7. The concept of worship in the book of Psalms is more related to the closeness of the people's hearts to God than just rituals or outward ways. In this text, all people are invited to come with sincere respect and worship to God, as a recognition of His power and sovereignty. Understanding that worship is not just a task or routine is part of kuni in applying the correct understanding of the meaning of worship. In the book of Psalms, God is described as a shepherd who cares for His people. This shows that people perform worship in response to God's love and providence. As a result, a transformational approach must involve a change of mind and heart. In the context of Psalm 95:6-7, the transformational strategy in question involves fostering the spiritual character of the people through in-depth teaching and the application of spiritual principles in daily life. This strategy includes understanding the importance of sincerity in worship, not just following established forms of worship. In this regard, spiritual leaders and church leaders have an important role in providing guidance, teaching the faithful to understand the meaning of true worship, and helping them avoid the bonds of worship formalities. In addition, transformational strategies in worship also include the participation of the faithful in social life that reflects values such as love, justice, and sacrifice, which are at the core of worship itself.

This article examines the concept of Islamic education through three main terms, namely at-tarbiyah, at-ta'lim, and at-ta'dib, and identifies educational values in Surah Al-Fatihah such as the values of faith, worship, sharia, and stories as instruments of character formation. In addition, the discussion focuses on the role of Surah Al-Fatihah in building the spiritual awareness of students and strengthening the vertical relationship with Allah SWT. The results of the study show that Surah Al-Fatihah is not only a ritual reading, but also an integrative and applicable framework of values in Islamic education. This article explores the contextualisation of Christianity within Chinese culture by examining how Christian worship can embrace local wisdom and cultural values. Contextualisation plays a crucial role in ensuring that the expression of Christian faith remains both theologically sound and cul-turally resonant. In the Chinese context, where ancestral reverence, symbolic traditions, and fami-ly-centered values are deeply embedded, a sensitive and thoughtful approach is required. The study employs a qualitative method through a literature review of theological writings, historical records, and cultural analyses to investigate how Christian theology can engage meaningfully with Chinese traditions. The findings reveal that certain cultural elements—such as ancestor honour, which is central to filial piety; the colour red, symbolising prosperity and joy; and the collectivist view of family—can be reinterpreted within a Christian framework. Ancestor honour, for instance, can be seen not as idol worship but as a celebration of faith heritage and family lineage. The use of tradi-tional music, symbols, and festivals such as Chinese New Year in church services demonstrates that cultural integration is possible without compromising the gospel's core message. Moreover, the emphasis on harmony and extended family in Chinese society parallels the Christian concept of koinonia, or spiritual fellowship. By embracing these cultural values, churches in China can present the Christian faith in ways that are both biblically faithful and culturally meaningful. This research underscores the importance of contextual theology in nurturing indigenous expressions of Chris-tianity that honor both Christ and culture.

Religious character is one aspect of character values related to an individual's relationship with God. Religious character is considered a key point that needs to be instilled and developed from an early age in children. This serves as the foundation of religious teachings in the lives of individuals and society as a whole. The aim of this research is to understand the formation of religious character among Islamic boarding school students through the programs of reading the Quran and performing the Dhuha prayer at PPTQ Al-Mustaqimiyyah. The research method used is qualitative, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources were obtained through interviews with administrators, teachers, and students. Waqf is an act of worship that has a social and economic pattern because in the development of Islamic civilisation, from the development of science to its heyday, it cannot be separated from the role of Rasullulah and his companions who continued to struggle to spread Islam throughout the world, one of which was by using the waqf method because the waqf property or object is often used as a centre for the development of science and Islam in ancient times, for example the construction of mosque buildings and financing wars. Because waqf is an act of worship that is highly recommended for every Muslim. In addition, waqf worship is also explained in the Koran that people who endow their assets for the benefit of the ummah who have benefits, the rewards will continue to flow even though the person has died, which makes people flock to carry out waqf worship. However, it is not uncommon for there to be a lot of abuse committed by nazirs, starting from their unprofessional attitude because nazirs are often used as additional income for them to hoard wealth. So it is very important to find a nadzhir as a zakat manager who has a trustworthy nature because actually this waqf must continue to be developed to be more productive and useful, therefore the Indonesian government continues to make efforts to revise the rules regarding nazir because there are still many irregularities committed largely due to weak administrative sanctions and criminal sanctions for them.

Modern education often emphasizes cognitive and technological aspects, while spiritual aspects are often neglected. In fact, in Islamic educational philosophy, the integration of spiritual values is an important part in forming the character of students who are moral and competitive. This study aims to (1) analyze the concept of Islamic educational philosophy from the perspective of integrating spiritual values, (2) identify spiritual values that can be integrated into the modern education system, and (3) explore effective strategies in their implementation. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach to relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational philosophy emphasizes a balance between intellectual and spiritual aspects to form individuals who have high moral awareness. Spiritual values such as monotheism, morals, and worship can be adapted into a modern curriculum through contextual and experience-based learning methods. The implementation of this integration strategy includes a holistic approach in the curriculum, teacher training, and the creation of a learning environment that supports the spiritual growth of students. Thus, the integration of spiritual values in modern education contributes to the formation of a more complete and balanced character.

Learning strategies are crucial because this is the first step given by the teacher. The step that needs to be considered is determining the learning strategy that will accommodate the development of students. The main teacher can choose the best teaching methods and strategies to create excellent learning, adjust the material to the students' abilities, and enable students to receive knowledge transfer. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore project-based religious learning strategies applied in the Islamic Religious Education subject at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan Denai. This approach was chosen to deeply explore the practices, experiences, and impact of learning on the religious awareness of the students. Interviews with students show that involvement in the project has made them better understand religious values in real life. Some students admitted to starting to pray on time, being more diligent in reading the Quran, and being more concerned about the social environment. This shows that the religious project encourages the internalization of values through direct experience, not just memorization or theory. This learning not only strengthens the understanding of Islamic material but also instills religious values through real practices that can be directly experienced by the students. Some forms of projects, such as mini-dawah, infaq movements, and adab campaigns, have proven to enrich students' experiences and enhance their awareness of Islamic values in daily life. Islamic education teachers play an important role as facilitators, not only guiding students in project activities but also providing space for reflection and evaluation. Students feel more motivated and actively engaged in the learning process, which leads to changes in their religious behavior, such as increased discipline in worship and a greater sense of care for their surroundings.
