The socialization of environmental ethics and environmental health awareness in children is a strategic step in forming a generation that cares, is responsible, and oriented towards the sustainability of natural resources. Children, as a growing age group, have great potential to internalize environmental values and apply them consistently into adulthood. This socialization activity was carried out in the elementary school environment with an interactive lecture and group discussion approach, designed to encourage active participation and deep understanding. The main goal of the activity is to increase children's environmental literacy, including understanding the importance of maintaining cleanliness, managing waste, avoiding pollution, and maintaining the health of the surrounding environment. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in students' knowledge about environmental and health issues, as well as a positive attitude towards environmentally friendly practices. Students show high enthusiasm during the activity, which is reflected in active involvement in discussions and commitment to implementing behaviors that support environmental sustainability. This socialization has proven to be effective in fostering environmental awareness and ethics from an early age, which is an important foundation for sustainable development. By equipping children with environmental knowledge and values, it is hoped that they can become agents of change in their respective communities. This kind of activity needs to be carried out continuously and integrated into the basic education curriculum, so that the impact can be wider and more sustainable. School-based socialization is a relevant and strategic approach in shaping a culture of environmental care in the future.

Clean living behavior can be done by maintaining the sustainability of life can be done by reducing waste, saving energy, planting trees, and not littering. Waste sorting can be done by separating organic and inorganic waste into different trash bins. In addition, inorganic waste can also be separated again based on its type, such as plastic, paper, glass, and metal. Facilitates the process of collecting and processing waste for recycling. The Principles of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) recommend the use of waste sorting methods. The daily habits that we do to maintain personal and environmental cleanliness consist of this behavior. . Along with the emergence of various diseases that often attack children aged 6-12 years, PHBS in schools is a collection of behaviors carried out by students, teachers, and school residents based on learning so that they are able to independently prevent disease, improve their health. Implementation of better waste sorting practices can reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, increase the efficiency of waste management, and provide long-term benefits for school residents. Schools are one of the places that have great potential to educate students about good waste management. SD Negeri 2 Kelusa has problems related to the lack of student knowledge about waste sorting and utilization, especially organic waste. Most students at SD Negeri 2 Kelusa still have limited understanding of the types of waste and how to process it. Most students do not realize and understand that organic waste can be reused, so they tend to throw it away with other waste.

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood marked by various physical, emotional, and social changes. One of the main challenges faced by adolescents is a lack of self-confidence, which can hinder the development of self-potential and social interaction. Based on observations at the Taruna Yodha Sukoharjo Children's Social Service Center, it was found that many adolescents showed an inferior attitude, were afraid of being wrong, and were reluctant to express their opinions in public. Therefore, this community service aims to increase awareness of the importance of self-confidence through interactive socialization. The implementation method includes four stages, namely the presentation of material on the concept of self-confidence, discussion of personal experiences, providing positive affirmations, and ice breaking to build familiarity. This activity was attended by most of the adolescents at the center and succeeded in increasing active participation from 20% to 50%. Although there were still obstacles such as limited time and the difficulty of some participants in expressing themselves verbally, the evaluation results showed an increase in social interaction and enthusiasm in implementing positive affirmations. This activity proves that an interactive approach can be an effective solution in fostering adolescent self-confidence. For more optimal results, ongoing programs such as public speaking training and psychological assistance are needed. It is hoped that teenagers in the shelter can continue to develop their potential and face social challenges with more confidence.

The video feature Berdaya, Berkarya, Bermakna bagi Disabilitas aims to highlight the potential and creative works of children with disabilities at the Our Dream Indonesia Foundation through a mise-en-scène approach that enhances both visual and emotional narratives. This writing is motivated by the urgency of promoting the economic and social empowerment of persons with disabilities and the need to challenge prevailing stigmas through mass media. The 11-minute video feature integrates cinematography, set design, costume and makeup, and lighting to construct an engaging and informative storytelling experience. The objective of this study is to explain the production process of creating a visual work using mise-en-scène elements, which includes three key stages: pre-production (research, field observation, storyline development, storyboard creation, and technical preparation), production (filming using cinematographic techniques), and post-production (editing and visual refinement). The findings indicate that the comprehensive application of mise-en-scène successfully reinforces the message of inclusivity. For example, the use of cinematographic techniques contributes to the visual aesthetics; the set design of Toko Amis Budi shows the works of children with disabilities; the makeup and costume choices reflect the personalities of the featured subjects; and the lighting enhances the emotional tone of each scene. In conclusion, this work affirms that mise-en-scène not only enriches the visual appeal but also deepens the emotional impact, transforming facts into inspiring stories and raising public awareness of the importance of expressive spaces for individuals with disabilities. This video serves as an effective medium to advocate for equal rights and the recognition of the abilities of persons with disabilities.

One of the most important preventive efforts to protect children from sexual violence is sex education. The implementation of sex education is sometimes delayed or ignored because many people still misunderstand it as a method of education about sexual behavior. The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of providing sex education to children so that they can protect themselves from potential sexual exploitation. The approach used is a literature review of several books, scientific journals, and related policy documents. Based on the results of the study, children who do not receive sex education are more likely to experience violence, engage in inappropriate sexual behavior, and be exposed to misinformation from the media or their environment. It has been proven that appropriate sex education that is in accordance with the child's developmental stage helps children become more self-aware, understand their own body's limitations, and gain the ability to say "no" and ask for help. The conclusion of this study highlights that sex education is a form of early childhood education that involves the responsibility of parents, teachers, society, and government and does not explicitly teach sexual activity. The implications of this study indicate that integrated sex education from an early age can be a national strategy in preventing sexual violence against children.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence learning motivation in early childhood, both from internal and external aspects. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various relevant sources published in the last ten years. The analysis was carried out by comparing and compiling related findings to build a structured framework. The results of the study indicate that early childhood learning motivation is influenced by internal factors such as interest, self-confidence, and physical and mental conditions, as well as external factors such as the role of family, teachers, learning environment, peers, and the impact of digitalization. The family is the main element in shaping children's learning motivation, while teachers and the learning environment play an important role in creating a fun and supportive learning atmosphere. Digitalization, although it has positive potential, can also be a major challenge for children's learning motivation if not managed properly. This study concludes that appropriate intervention from all related parties can increase learning motivation and support the optimal development of early childhood."

The policy proposal by the West Java Provincial Government to introduce mandatory military training for problematic students has sparked public debate concerning its legality, effectiveness, and the state’s approach to addressing juvenile delinquency. This paper analyzes the policy from a legal perspective, particularly in relation to human rights law and the principles embedded in the national education system. Using a normative juridical method with a conceptual and statutory approach, the study finds that the policy potentially violates children's rights, as well as the principles of non-discrimination and fairness in education. Moreover, the coercive approach through military training is deemed incompatible with the spirit of character development, which should be humanistic and participatory. The paper recommends that interventions for problematic students should focus on value-based education, counseling, and empowerment, rather than militarization. Public policy should ensure the protection of children's rights while upholding the principles of proportionality and appropriateness in disciplinary measures.

Fish plays a vital role in early childhood development due to its high nutritional value, yet consumption among preschoolers in Indonesia remains low. This study explores the effectiveness of combining hypnoparenting and storytelling as a complementary nursing strategy to promote fish consumption in young children. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was used, involving 30 preschoolers divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received a four-week intervention integrating hypnoparenting and storytelling, while the control group received standard education. Dietary intake was assessed using a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Results showed a significant increase in fish consumption in the experimental group (p = 0.000), with no significant change in the control group (p = 0.102). The Mann-Whitney U test also confirmed a significant difference between the groups (p = 0.000). These findings suggest that integrating hypnoparenting and storytelling is an effective, family-centered complementary nursing approach to promote healthier eating habits. This innovative method offers potential in supporting preschool children’s nutrition and overall development through engaging and parent-involved strategies.

Stunting, also known as growth failure in children, is a condition caused by a child's nutritional needs not being met for a long time, specifically during the first 1,000 days of life. The first 1,000 days of life are the first 270 days (nine months) in the mother's womb plus the first 730 days (two years) of a baby's life after birth. Education is a learning process aimed at developing the potential or quality of thought patterns and knowledge of an individual or group. One of the goals of education is to increase public knowledge. The target group for the first 1,000 days of life is pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education on pregnant women's knowledge about the first 1,000 days of life at the Tombulilato Community Health Center, Bone Raya District, Gorontalo City. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment with a two group pretest and posttest design approach. The sample in this study were 32 pregnant women in the intervention group and 32 in the control group. Data collection was done through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a paired T test with a 95% confidence interval (CI) and α <0.05. The results of the study showed that Educational Intervention had a significant effect on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.000) in the First 1000 Days of Life in the Tombulilato Health Center area, Bone Raya District. It is hoped that more practical information will be provided to the community, especially prospective mothers, in preparing a quality next generation, especially in the First 1000 Days of Life. This study discusses the conflict between Government Regulation Number 28 of 2024 concerning the provision of contraceptives for students with the principles contained in the Child Marriage Law and the National Education System in Indonesia. Although this policy aims to prevent early pregnancy and transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, the provision of contraceptives for students raises concerns because it is considered to legitimize sexual activity among adolescents. This is compared to child protection efforts as stated in the Marriage Law which stipulates the minimum age of marriage and moral values in education. This study uses a normative legal approach to analyze the implications of the policy on children's rights, the education system, and social and cultural values. The results of the study indicate that this policy has the potential to violate the goals of national education and child protection. Therefore, a more balanced policy revision is needed, by integrating comprehensive sex education based on moral values, in order to protect children's rights while providing appropriate education for adolescents.
