Nutritional problems among children under five, particularly stunting, remain a significant public health challenge associated with inadequate nutrient intake and unfavorable eating behaviors such as picky eating, poor appetite, and feeding difficulties. These conditions may lead to imbalanced macronutrient and micronutrient intake, which adversely affects child growth and development. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to improve parental knowledge and skills in fulfilling child nutritional requirements through education and training on innovative food processing based on local ingredients, namely mandu formulated with anchovy (Stolephorus spp.) and yardlong bean (Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis). The methods included educational sessions, hands-on training, mentoring, and evaluation using a structured questionnaire. The evaluation involved 18 participants, where 83.3% achieved an excellent category and 16.7% a good category. The practice-based educational approach combined with the utilization of locally available nutrient-dense ingredients was effective in enhancing community capacity and shows potential as a preventive strategy to reduce the risk of stunting at the household level.

Polygamy remains a controversial issue in Indonesia, involving legal, religious, and social dimensions. This study aims to analyze the social, psychological, and economic impacts of polygamy on wives and children. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study examines primary sources, including Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law, as well as relevant scientific literature and journal articles. The findings indicate that although Indonesian law permits polygamy under strict conditions, such as the wife's consent and the husband's ability to act fairly, these requirements are often difficult to fulfill in practice. Psychologically, wives frequently experience jealousy, emotional stress, depression, and feelings of injustice. Economically, polygamy may lead to the division of family resources, reducing the welfare of wives and children. Children may also experience emotional difficulties due to limited parental attention, conflicts among siblings, and social stigma. These impacts can affect family harmony and child development. Therefore, stronger legal supervision and public education are needed to ensure the protection of women's and children's rights and to minimize the negative consequences of irresponsible polygamous practices.

This research is motivated by the existence of legal pluralism in marriage regulations in Indonesia before the enactment of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. During that period, marriage provisions were influenced by various legal systems, namely customary law, Islamic law, and colonial laws such as the Burgerlijk Wetboek, whose application was based on population classification. This condition gave rise to various problems, including legal uncertainty, differing standards for marriage validity, and weak protection of the rights of women and children. Based on these problems, this study aims to examine the development of marriage law in Indonesia, both before and after the enactment of the Marriage Law, and to assess the extent to which these regulations have been able to achieve legal unification and certainty within the national legal system. The method used is qualitative-normative research with a literature study approach through analysis of relevant laws and regulations, historical documents, and scientific literature. The results indicate that before 1974, the marriage legal system was complex and unintegrated, necessitating a comprehensive codification. The process of drafting this law was lengthy and marked by ideological debate and religious considerations. However, an agreement was ultimately reached that accommodated both religious values and state interests. Subsequent developments, including amendments through Law Number 16 of 2019, confirm that marriage law in Indonesia is dynamic in responding to demands for justice, human rights, and gender equality.

This article examines marriage law within Indonesian customary law communities and its interaction with national legal regulations. In customary societies, marriage is not merely a personal bond between a man and a woman, but a social institution involving extended families and the wider community. The study aims to describe the various forms of customary marriage, the requirements for its validity, and the procedures for legalization, including the recognition of marriages among adherents of indigenous belief systems. This research employs a normative juridical approach using statutory and conceptual analysis based on relevant legal provisions and customary practices. The findings show that customary marriage systems in Indonesia are strongly influenced by kinship structures such as patrilineal, matrilineal, and parental systems, resulting in diverse forms including bridewealth marriage, semenda marriage, independent marriage, mixed marriage, and elopement. The validity of marriage in customary law is closely connected to religious or belief-based rituals and community acknowledgment. Furthermore, developments in national law, particularly Law Number 1 of 1974 on Marriage and Constitutional Court Decision Number 97/PUU-XIV/2016, have strengthened legal recognition for followers of indigenous beliefs in marriage registration. The study concludes that customary marriage law remains relevant and continues to coexist with national law, reflecting Indonesia’s legal pluralism and cultural diversity.

The background of this research is based on the importance of Sharia-based social financing in assisting people in need without involving elements of riba, while ensuring that its practices remain aligned with Islamic economic law principles. This study aims to analyze the implementation of qard financing at the Masjid Raya Bintaro Jaya Amil Zakat Institution (MRBJ) and to examine its compliance with the provisions set by the Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia, through Fatwa Number 19/DSN-MUI/IV/2001 concerning Al-Qard. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consist of zakat institution administrators and beneficiaries. (mustahiq) of the Qard Financing Program. The results indicate that the implementation of Qard financing at MRBJ has been carried out as a form of community economic empowerment, with a relatively simple distribution mechanism oriented toward the needs of the mustahiq. However, in practice, there are still several aspects that have not been optimal, particularly in terms of assistance and monitoring for the beneficiaries. Therefore, this study concludes that although qard financing at MRBJ. provides significant social benefits, there is a need to enhance Sharia understanding and improving institutional governance to ensure optimal implementation in accordance with the principles established by the DSN-MUI fatwa with the principles established by the DSN-MUI fatwa.
