Christian education faces significant challenges in integrating the values of missional spirituality into its curriculum and teaching practices, particularly in the context of globalization, secularization, and a declining awareness of spiritual calling among educators. This study aims to examine the extent to which Pentecostal theological values such as prayer, worship, and mission are implemented in Christian education and how these values contribute to the formation of students' character and spirituality. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, curriculum document analysis, and open-ended questionnaires administered to teachers and students. The findings reveal that the integration of missional spirituality remains partial and lacks structured incorporation into both curriculum and pedagogy. However, when implemented contextually, these values have been shown to enhance learning motivation, shape Christian character, and deepen students’ spiritual lives. The study concludes that Pentecostal-based missional spirituality can holistically enrich Christian education. The primary contribution of this research is the development of a conceptual model for the contextual and practical integration of missional spirituality in Christian education, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and practical spiritual formation.

The moral crisis and rampant corruption among Christian leaders pose serious challenges that erode the credibility and integrity of religious institutions. This phenomenon not only tarnishes the image of Christianity institutionally but also weakens the foundation of ethics and spiritual values that should guide the lives of the congregation. This issue becomes even more pressing when it occurs in the realm of Christian education, a place where future leaders should be formed. This study aims to analyze Jonathan Lamb's concept of integrity as a strategic framework for addressing this crisis, especially in the context of Christian educational institutions. Using a qualitative approach and literature review, this study highlights Lamb's holistic view of integrity, which encompasses three main dimensions: wholeness of the person (wholeness), consistency between beliefs and actions (consistency), and full accountability to God (accountability to God). Lamb's concept of integrity is highly relevant amidst the increasing need for leaders who are not only competent but also possess proven character. The findings of this study indicate that to effectively implement the concept of integrity, Christian educational institutions need to take a two-pronged approach: first, comprehensively reform the curriculum so that integrity values are not only a separate subject, but are integrated into all disciplines and learning activities; Second, building an institutional culture that emphasizes moral exemplarity from leaders, lecturers, and educational staff. Furthermore, a sustainable character development system, transparent accountability evaluation, and open ethical discussion are needed. Education is not only about knowledge transfer, but also about character transformation. Therefore, integrity must be seen as the core of Christian education, not an add-on. This study concludes that Lamb's concept of integrity can be a transformative model that encourages the formation of future leaders with strong character, prevents moral failure, and restores public trust in Christian institutions

Christian Religious Education (CRE) not only functions as a means of delivering theological teachings, but also as a strategic medium in developing students' soft skills. This article aims to explore how Christian moral values such as love, honesty, empathy, and justice can be integrated into learning practices to shape students' character and interpersonal skills. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that PAK, through activities such as group discussions, social services, spiritual reflection, and project-based learning, contributes significantly to developing students' communication, leadership, cooperation, and emotional intelligence skills. The role of teachers as facilitators and moral role models is a key factor in the success of this process. Thus, PAK not only enriches the spiritual aspect, but also prepares students to become resilient and integral individuals in social life. The integration of faith values with life skills is a strong foundation in forming a generation of Christians who are able to answer the challenges of the 21st century.

This study explores the development of a holistic Christian Religious Education (PAK) curriculum by integrating affective and psychomotor domains into the learning process. The topic is significant because the current PAK curriculum predominantly emphasizes cognitive and doctrinal aspects, resulting in Christian values being taught theoretically without practical application in students’ daily lives. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to investigate and develop a balanced curriculum model that integrates theory, spiritual internalization, and practical skills. The findings reveal that a holistic curriculum enhances faith internalization and character formation in students, making the learning process more relevant and transformative. Implementation of this curriculum model promotes Christian education as an integrative process encompassing knowledge, attitudes, and practical competencies in real-life contexts.

This article explores the relationship between the theology of Christian Religious Education (CRE) and the Church in contributing to relevant, contextual, and transformative theological education. The Church, as a community of faith and spiritual institution, plays a strategic role in shaping theological understanding through teaching, discipleship, and ministry. Meanwhile, CRE within the formal education system is tasked with delivering Christian values through pedagogical and academic approaches. In an era shaped by secularism, pluralism, and technological advancement, both challenges and opportunities arise for CRE and the Church to collaborate meaningfully. Through literature review and theological analysis, this article identifies key challenges such as the gap between theory and practice, limited human resources, and the influence of popular culture that often contradicts Christian values. On the other hand, significant opportunities exist, including the use of digital technology, the strengthening of faith-based character education, and the implementation of contextual approaches to theological teaching. The article affirms the importance of a strategic partnership between the Church and CRE in developing theological education that not only informs the mind but also transforms lives through strong Christian character in everyday contexts.

Contemporary Christian leadership encounters complex challenges when integrating intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. Limited understanding of obedience as a leadership foundation results in weakened spiritual development and integrity in ministry. This research employs a qualitative approach through comprehensive literature review, analyzing diverse theological literature, scientific journals, and academic sources discussing Christian leadership and obedience principles. The study reveals the concept of "Obedience Before Greatness" as a leadership paradigm positioning submission to God as a prerequisite for greatness, contrasting conventional leadership approaches that prioritize external achievements. Findings demonstrate that authentic and sustainable Christian leadership grows from obedience to God rather than personal ambition. Submission shapes character and integrity, producing leaders who serve with humility for God's glory.

The tongue is a small part of the body that holds significant power to influence both individual life and community well-being. James 3:1–12 provides a firm warning about the dangers of an uncontrolled tongue, depicting it as a fire, a world of evil, and deadly poison. This study aims to examine the meaning of controlling the tongue as a responsibility of Christian spirituality through a literature review and exegetical-hermeneutical analysis of James 3:1–12. This qualitative research employs primary data from the biblical text (Indonesian Bible Society version and the Greek text) and secondary data from commentaries, Christian ethics books, and theological journals. The findings indicate that controlling the tongue is a sign of spiritual maturity and an essential aspect of Christian discipline that must be continuously cultivated. Disciplined speech reflects living faith and serves as a means to foster love, truth, and peace within the community. This study highlights the need for churches and believers to integrate ethical speech as a core part of their witness in the world.

This study analyzes the reinvention of heroism and gender identity in Disney's Mulan (1998), an animated adaptation of the Chinese mythology of Hua Mulan.  Mulan diverges from conventional storylines that exalt masculine power and martial prowess, focusing instead on themes of heroism, self-discovery, and the subversion of strict gender standards.  The film amplifies a female protagonist who defies cultural norms, critiquing traditional heroics and redefining greatness via resilience, intellect, and ethical purity.  This study utilizes qualitative textual analysis and Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey framework to examine how Mulan subverts patriarchal tropes, establishing personal sincerity and inner power as the genuine criteria of heroism.  This study examines feminist and postcolonial critiques of classical storytelling, asserting that Mulan reinterprets old myth as a modern metaphor of empowerment, demonstrating how contemporary adaptations can reclaim traditional narratives to embody progressive ideas.  The video serves as a radical act of mythopoetic resistance, presenting an alternative conception of heroism that surpasses gender and cultural limitations.

The sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the two main sacraments in the Christian tradition, both carrying profound theological and spiritual significance. A sacrament contains two essential elements: an outward sign (such as water, bread, and wine) and a spiritual reality (namely, the grace of God given through the sign). A sacrament is not merely a symbol, but a means of communion with Christ that strengthens faith and bears witness to God’s grace. In Christian theology, a sacrament is broadly defined as a rite or religious ceremony performed to symbolize or help bring about a transformation in the lives of those who participate in it. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is one of the key sacraments in the Christian tradition, symbolizing the fellowship of believers with Christ through the shared consumption of bread and wine. Its meaning is profound, as it is not only a remembrance of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, but also an expression of faith and a deep reflection on the saving love of God. The Lord’s Supper also contains an eschatological meaning, pointing believers toward the future. In each celebration of the Lord’s Supper, the people of Christ anticipate the heavenly banquet at the end of the age.

Christian education, which is based on the teachings of the Christian religion, has an important role in forming individual character and morals. This education system aims to instill Christian moral and ethical values in students as a guide throughout their lives. However, in the modern era which is full of dynamics and change, Christian education faces big challenges in overcoming moral decline in society. Technological developments, cultural changes, and greater access to information create an increasingly complex moral landscape. Thus, Christian education has a key role in shaping individual character and morals and providing a solid ethical foundation, although there are a series of challenges that hinder its effectiveness. This research explores how Christian ethical principles guide interactions within families and communities, as well as their role in facing moral challenges in the modern era. The family is the main center in the formation of individuals and society, where values and ethics are practiced and passed from one generation to the next. This study emphasizes the importance of respecting parents as a spiritual basis that shapes the character and morality of Christian families. Generations, born in the digital era, are faced with various moral and ethical challenges. Christian education in the family environment can provide a strong moral foundation to face the pressures and temptations around them. Character is not a fixed trait, but rather the result of various influences in a person's life. Christian education provides a deep spiritual dimension, teaching ethical values, compassion, and commitment.

Consumption of sweetened beverages contributes to increased blood glucose levels that lead to the risk of pre-diabetes and type II diabetes mellitus. Fasting blood sugar examination is an early screening tool to detect hidden metabolic disorders and educate the public about the importance of controlling sugar consumption. The examination was conducted through capillary blood sampling and point-of-care testing (POCT) analysis of 91 adult participants. Education was delivered in the form of a leaflet emphasizing the impact of sweetened beverage consumption on glucose regulation and the risk of insulin resistance. The results were classified into three categories: normal, pre-diabetes, and diabetes. The majority of participants (86.8%) were in the normoglycemic category. As many as 9.9% were classified as pre-diabetes and 3.3% were in the diabetes category. The average fasting blood sugar of the participants was 89.5 ± 20.1 mg/dL. These results emphasize the need for counseling regarding limiting the consumption of sweetened beverages to maintain stable blood glucose. Fasting blood sugar examination accompanied by education about sweetened beverages contributes to early detection of the risk of glucose disorders.
