This study aims to describe the strategies used to increase students' interest in reading through the selection of interesting Arabic texts at the Darut Tauhid Patemon Islamic Boarding School. The low interest in reading Arabic texts among students is the background to the importance of selecting reading materials that suit their interests and needs. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the selection of texts that are relevant to the daily lives of students, accompanied by the use of interactive learning methods, can significantly increase reading interest. In addition, teacher involvement in selecting and presenting contextual materials is also a major supporting factor.

The purpose of this study was to develop a picture story book as a picture story book in science learning to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 04 Tente. The type of research used was R & D using the ADDIE development model including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation activities. The results of the study showed that the results of the book development that was made could be used as a learning resource in thematic learning were declared valid. This can be seen from the results of expert validation consisting of media validation, language validation, and expert validation of learning. The picture story book as a learning resource in thematic learning obtained a value of 84.66% with a very feasible category. The picture story book as a learning resource in thematic learning was declared practical. The results of the questionnaire analysis filled out by 22 respondents/students with an average value of 97.36% in the very practical category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of picture story books can be seen from the results of the t-test calculation that tℎ

This research aims to analyze the GERLI (Literacy Movement) Program which uses the storytelling method at SDN 1 Demulih to increase students' interest in reading. This research aims to assess the effect of a fairy tale-based literacy approach on improving students' reading abilities. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results showed that before the program was implemented, students' interest in reading was low. However, after the program was implemented, there was a significant increase in students' participation and understanding of reading material, especially in terms of listening, composing stories, and discussions. As many as 85% of students were actively involved, showing higher enthusiasm for literacy activities. This program is considered effective in improving students' literacy skills, with recommendations that literacy activities be held regularly with a variety of more interesting stories, as well as involving parents to support a good reading environment at home.

The arrangement of the library in SD N 1 Demulih has not been fully implemented based on the flow of the library layout to facilitate and process the work done by the library staff, the library layout can attract students' interest in reading. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative method. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation sheets and interview list sheets conducted at SD N 1 Demulih. The results of this study is the Library at SD N 1 Demulih have carried out several strategies for physical and non-physical arrangement of the library. The physical arrangement strategy that has been carried out is the location of the Library that is accessible to students, bright lighting and available air ventilation as well as providing facilities and infrastructure such as chairs and tables in good condition that can be used by students when reading the library collection. Providing these strategies is very important for readers so that students who read in the library feel comfortable and make them feel at home so that the students want to come back again to read.

The purpose of this writing is to determine the factors that influence reading interest and interest in class X MA Nurul Huda Lumajang students through the sociodrama method. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Class X students are the subjects. The influencing factors are internal and external factors. Internal factors include intelligence, interest and attention, motivation, perseverance, attitude, reading habits, as well as physical fitness and health. Students will not be interested in reading if they do not have the desire, health, physical fitness, intelligence and motivation. Bad libraries, outdated reading materials, some even unused, little encouragement from teachers, no encouragement from parents, parents who do not provide encouragement due to lack of funds, no parental attention to children's reading. Most parents focus more on learning outcomes, reading habits that students have not acquired since childhood. The influence of the reading environment and playmates indirectly influences students' interest in reading. The uncontrolled influence of technology. For example, the influence of misuse of smartphones or gadgets, the influence of television programs on students who forget their student responsibilities.
