This research aims to analyze the initial reading ability of grade I students at elementary school and the success factors in beginning reading. Initial reading is the initial stage that a person does before being able to reach a higher level of reading. This study uses a qualitative method with results described descriptively. Data collection was carried out using tests, interviews, and observations. The result of this study is that the level of initial reading ability of grade I students of elementary school is in the very good category. This success is supported by the start of early reading from PAUD or TK, advanced reading exercises in elementary schools, the role of classroom literacy corners, and parental support.

This study aims to analyze the initial writing skills of grade 1 Elementary School students. Initial writing is the initial stage for students in recognizing letter shapes, composing syllables, and being able to write simple words and sentences. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with observation and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis show that the writing skills of grade 1 students vary greatly, influenced by fine motor readiness, the learning environment, and the role of teachers in providing appropriate exercises. Most students still have difficulty in writing letters with the correct and neat shape. Therefore, an interesting and repetitive learning strategy is needed so that students can improve their writing skills gradually.

Sexual harassment and violence against children in the school environment are increasingly concerning issues that require serious handling and prevention strategies. Strategically, sex education can be provided early to teach children about their bodies, their boundaries, and how to find and report inappropriate actions. The purpose of this study was to investigate how sex education functions as a way to prevent violence and sexual harassment in schools. The method used was to conduct literature research on a number of relevant scientific articles that focused Sex education, prevention of sexual violence, sexual harassment, child protection.on the implementation, techniques, and roles of educators and parents. The results showed that age-appropriate sex education provided through visual media, songs, interactive books, and digital applications effectively increased children's understanding of self-protection. The active involvement of parents and teachers also played an important role in the success of this program. This study suggests that sex education should be included in the elementary school curriculum.

This study aims to examine how Nadia Omara as a digital content creator plays a role in reviving old literature, especially South Kalimantan folklore, through digital media. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study method, data was collected through observations of Nadia Omara's digital activities on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This study analyzes the adaptation strategies used by Nadia Omara to make folklore more relevant and interesting for the younger generation. The results of the study show that digital media is not only a means of preservation, but also revitalization of traditional literature. The narrative, visual, and communication style strategies used by Nadia Omara are able to bridge old culture with the modern digital world, as well as build new interest in the richness of regional culture.

Advances in technology have provided various innovative solutions to improve accessibility and independence of children with hearing impairments in communicating. This article discusses the role of technology in helping children with hearing impairments communicate, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, sign language interpreter applications, speech recognition technology, and digital-based learning media. With this technology, children with hearing impairments can interact more easily with their social environment, improve their communication skills, and obtain better educational opportunities.

The results revealed that a communicative and supportive family environment is the main basis for children in learning language. Habits such as inviting children to talk, reading books together, and providing emotional support are the main factors that influence children's language development. In the midst of the digital era, parents need to be smart in utilizing technology, by limiting the use of gadgets and prioritizing direct interaction. Consistent communication patterns and special activities such as reading together or role-playing have also proven to be very effective in supporting children's language development. Although there are challenges such as time constraints and children's interest in gadgets, parents can overcome them with creativity and patience. This study provides practical advice for parents in creating a family environment that supports children's language development.

Using postcolonial feminist theory, intersectionality, and media representation theory, this research analyzes how Arab women are portrayed in global and local media, as well as the historical evolution of their roles in society. Through qualitative analysis of academic literature, media content, and cultural documents from 1990-2023, the study reveals complex dynamics in how Arab women are perceived and represented. The findings highlight significant gaps between media representation and reality, the impact of modernization on gender roles, and the emergence of new paradigms in understanding Arab women's identities. The research contributes to a more nuanced understanding of Arab women's experiences while highlighting the importance of contextual and intersectional approaches in gender studies. The implications of this study suggest the need for more balanced representation and policy development that supports Arab women's empowerment while respecting cultural values.

Therefore, it is important to analyze the effectiveness of speech acts, especially directive speech acts used in educational videos. The purpose of this study is to analyze and realize the number of speech acts, namely in directive speech acts in the Playlist of Taman Edukasi: Kenalan sama Animasi in the youtube channel Kok Bisa?. The approach used in this research is pragmatic theoretical approach and descriptive qualitative. Researchers used listening and recording techniques on the Taman Edukasi: Kenalan sama Animasi in the youtube channel Kok Bisa?. The researcher used descriptive qualitative method of research based on postpositive philosophy which is used to study natural things to collect data, agih method and pairing method used to analyze this data. From the data analysis conducted, it was found that there were 152 directive speech acts, there were 5 types of directive speech acts namely invitation, command, prohibition, advice, advice. The results of the analysis in this article can provide further understanding of the role of directive speech acts in the context of video-based learning and material development by paying attention to directive speech acts.

The focus of this study is to understand how social elements, especially gender and the role of women in Batak custom, interact with greater political power, and how this is reflected in the novel's narrative structure. By using literary sociology theory, this research also discusses identity social and political aspects are formed through literary texts, as well as the implications of these accusations on the formation of morality and views of society at that time. Through analysis It is hoped that this article will contribute to the understanding of the relationship between literature, politics and social identity in Indonesia, especially in context post-1965 history.
