Graphic design has become a necessity in various areas of life, including branding and website design. Nowadays, graphic design has become an important part of various sectors of life, especially to support the economic and marketing sectors. Therefore, graphic design visual arts abilities and skills are very necessary. This is an opportunity to equip young people with graphic design skills. The results of a survey conducted by the service team showed that Medan city teenagers have a high interest in graphic design art. So real efforts need to be made to equip Medan city teenagers with graphic design skills. Therefore, in this community service activity, graphic design training and assistance was carried out using the Canva application to increase the creativity of Medan city teenagers. The method of implementing community service is in the form of lectures providing material directly by resource persons to partners.

Pemerintah saat ini sudah berupaya untuk memperhatikan Kesehatan para lansia, yaitu melalui program- programnya  dari Puskesmas seperti posyandu lansia, namun hal ini masih kurang luas dapat menjangkau para lansia. Hal itu disebabkan karena dengan intensitas kegiatan posyandu yang hanya dilakukan satu kali dalam beberapa minggu oleh karena banyaknya lingkungan dalam cakupan wilayah kerja yang harus dijangkau Puskesmas yang ada di Ds Besani Kec Blado Kab. Batang. Akibatnya para lansia yang mengalami keluhan kembali akan sulit memeriksakan diri ke puskesmas karena masalah kemampuan fisik dan transportasi. Guna mengatasi hal tersebut maka kebutuhan para lansia dalam peningkatan kesehatan diri mereka utamanya melalui Pola Hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) sangatlah penting disampaikan, agar para lansia senantiasa sehat dan tidak mudah terserang penyakit.  Dalam mendukung kegiatan ini menggunakan media visual berupa tayangan Power Point dilayar proyektor. Sebelum program ini dimulai peneliti melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis berupa pemeriksaan gula darah sewaktu (GDS). Metode yang digunakan antara lain: Pengisian pre-test, Ceramah dan presentasi,Pengisian post-test. Pengisian pre-test lansia yang datang ke posyandu setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan langsung dipersilakan duduk kemudian diarahkan mengisi kuesioner yang sudah diberikan. Ceramah dan presentasi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para lansia mengenai PHBS dan gizi seimbang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Hukum Program Magister  Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang.

When used, an abstract always appears at the beginning of a manuscript orEngaging in communication within the realm of teaching and learning is fundamentally a social activity. It becomes particularly crucial for educators when guiding visually impaired students, necessitating the utilization of a variety of learning strategies that extend beyond the confines of sight within the classroom. To effectively achieve educational goals, teachers employ a myriad of methods to convey instructional materials. This research endeavors to scrutinize the communication strategies implemented by teachers while educating visually impaired children, delving into the intricate communication dynamics between educators and students. The study delves into the exploration of multimodal learning techniques employed by teachers to impart educational messages within the classroom setting. The results elucidate distinct phases within the learning strategies embraced by teachers, ranging from the cultivation of personal and intimate connections to the meticulous selection of teaching materials. The study sheds light on the application of multi-modal learning, encompassing auditory-kinesthetic, kinesthetic-visual, and audio-visual styles. Additionally, the research delineates stages pertaining to learning outcomes and the responses of teachers to their students.    

The benefits of consuming fruit and vegetables include reducing hypertension, preventing coronary heart disease, stroke, cancer, weight gain and Alzheimer's. This research aims to determine the influence of audiovisual media and lecture methods on changes in fruit and vegetable consumption behavior among teenagers in Gorontalo Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The respondents used were 76 respondents consisting of 38 respondents for intervention and 38 respondents as controls obtained by purposive sampling. The instruments used were questionnaires, leaflets and audiovisual. Data analysis used univariate analysis. Univariate analysis of food consumption frequency before the intervention showed that 14 people (36.8%) consumed bananas, 24 people (63.2%), 24 people (63.2%) consumed bananas, 26 people (68.4%) and tomatoes (42.1%). %), and after the intervention, bananas were 21 people (55.3%), papaya 31 people (81.6%), kale 30 people (78.9%), and tomatoes 25 people (65.8%). The results of the study used the Wilcoxon test which showed that there was an influence of counseling on behavior change. The results of the Mann-Whitney Test showed differences in behavior in the intervention group and the control group.

This research uses qualitative methods with semiotic analysis from Roland Barhes. Semiotics is a method for analyzing signs to find meaning in social and cultural phenomena. The aim of this research is to find out what visual meaning is contained in the Ichsan Gorontalo University logo which is used as an agency identity in terms of denotation, connotation and myth. Corporate identity is a reflection of the vision and mission which are visualized through the logo. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely the data collected is in the form of words and images. With the right logo, the message regarding the company's desired identity can be represented effectively. Data collection techniques use documentation/library techniques and observation. The results of this research will explain the meaning of the Ichsan Gorontalo University logo which has signs/symbols and colors that will be differentiated based on Roland Barthes' approach.

Product packaging has a very important role in attracting consumers, making consumers select the goods and serving as a tool for brand promotion. Using images, colors, and text, graphic designers can apply design principles to produce visually appealing packaging, highlight the benefits of a product, and give it a unique personality. Dodok Lawang runs a business in the form of services, namely making dowries, gifts, ring boxes and gift boxes. In this research, we developed packaging making/with the aim of renewing old packaging so that it appears more attractive. The form of packaging for the wedding planner is in the form of boxes and paper bags, as well as leaflets with a simple but still elegant design concept. validation from media experts and material expert have a result that the product is valid to be used as a protecting/wrapping of product properly. From the user's side, this design is effective because the information and visuals acquired from the packaging design are better understood by the user.    

sejarah panjang Kota Gorontalo mencatat bahwa banyak bangunan benda cagar budaya bersejarah menyimpan kenangan masa lalu dan menjadi bukti perkembangan Kota Gorontalo itu sendiri. Peninggalan sejarah berupa bangunan benda cagar budaya sangatlah bermanfaat sebagai pembangkit motivasi, kreativitas dan mengilhami generasi muda untuk memahami sejarah dan identitas Kota Gorontalo.(1) Keberagaman bangunan cagar budaya kota Gorontalo menjadi daya tarik utama wisatawan, namun sayangnya masih banyak yang belum mengetahui  bangunan cagar budaya yang ada. Maka dirancanglah sebuah buku dengan tujuan mampu memperkenalkan  keragaman warisan budaya kota Gorontalo dari perspektif sejarah dan budaya. Manfaat  dari Penelitian  yaitu Mendorong masyarakat  Gorontalo untuk mengetahui keberadaan dan jenis benda cagar budaya sebagai peninggalan bersejarah di Gorontalo yang memiliki nilai-nilai historis .Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitaitf   dan design thingking . Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah  terciptanya Buku Visual cagar budaya dengan media utama berupa buku   referensi/monograf yang berisi ilustrasi bangunan cagar budaya dan kondisi lingkungan yang mempengaruhinya.  Dan Media pendukung  berupa pembatas buku, notes, dan katalog

This research aims to improve students' initial reading skills using audio-visual media in class I UPTD SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan. This research is Classroom Action Research, the subject of this research is class 1, totaling 30 students consisting of 18 boys and 12 girls. This research was carried out for 3 weeks. The implementation of this action was carried out during three 3 teaching and learning process meetings and at every third meeting there was a learning evaluation results test. This research was carried out as part of the Teaching Profession Strengthening (P2K) activities which started on September 11 2023 for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the research show that during the learning process there is a change in students' attitudes during the learning process in accordance with the results of observations, namely by applying reading skills through audio-visual media assisted by image media, it can increase students' self-confidence to ask both the teacher and their friends about material they don't know. understandable and can increase student attendance, and improve student reading skills with audio-visual media. So, beginning reading skills through audio-visual media are suitable for use in this class. This can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes for class I students at UPTD SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan, after learning initial reading skills through audio-visual media.    

A traditional house is a house that has a characteristic building that symbolizes the culture of a region. The uniqueness of traditional houses in Indonesia is one of the learning materials for students in Indonesia. Books that are a medium for introducing traditional houses in Indonesia still have shortcomings in the form of limited visual display of traditional houses. So that it reduces children's interest in recognizing the traditional houses of the archipelago. This can lead to cultural erosion. Therefore, to increase interest and insight into the culture of this traditional house, technology and culture are combined. This combination uses augmented reality technology to introduce the traditional houses of the archipelago. Traditional houses are visualized through 3-dimensional objects in the android application. The augmented reality application developed is dynamic, so that the addition of content can be done without modifying the program code. This application will visualize 9 traditional houses from 9 provinces in Java, Nusa Tenggara, and Bali. The test results show an increase in knowledge of SDN Banjarmendalan students by 56% which means the application is quite effective to help students recognize the traditional houses of the archipelago and from the assessment of student satisfaction with the application get a score of 90.5% which means the application is enough to attract students to learn to recognize traditional houses.

To build awareness of cleanliness and enthusiasm for learning through poster design for MadrasahIbtidaiyah (MI) in Sindon Village. This village was identified as facing challenges in increasing sanitation awareness and children's enthusiasm for learning. The service method involves preparing and installing posters specifically designed to communicate the message of cleanliness and enthusiasm for learning. The results of this activity show a significant increase in awareness of cleanliness, as can be seen from changes in children's behavior regarding personal hygiene and the surrounding environment. The creative and informative poster design succeeded in attracting children's attention, encouraging them to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness. The poster which included inspiration, motivational quotes and supporting visual images succeeded in providing positive encouragement to children's interest in learning. Students' active involvement in the learning process has increased, reflected in more active participation in class activities and increased learning outcomes. The use of poster design as an effective communication tool in this service has made a significant contribution to increasing awareness of cleanliness and enthusiasm for learning at MI 2 Sindon Village. It is hoped that this can be an inspiration for similar effortsin other communities to improve the quality of life and education of children through creative and participatory approaches.  

Mural is a visual art form that can give a unique identity and atmosphere to a space. This study aims to describe the process of applying vector design to the mural on the wall of the Alas Outbound Education swimming pool in Ngingas Hamlet, Simpang Village. The vector design was chosen because it gives a sharp and clean look, perfect for creating recognizable and attention-grabbing images. The application of vector design on murals in the Alas Outbound Education swimming pool is able to create a cheerful and educational atmosphere. Vector design provides image clarity, facilitates observation, and produces aesthetically pleasing works of art. This mural is expected to make a positive contribution to the experience of swimming pool visitors, as well as become a visual attraction that enriches the environment of Ngingas Hamlet.

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes regarding the material of faith in angels through the use of audiovisual media. This media refers to a learning strategy that utilizes sound and image elements, so that in the process of absorbing the material, students can involve their senses of sight and hearing. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, practical tests, and interviews, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the material of faith in angels after the application of audiovisual media. In the first cycle, many students still had difficulty understanding the material. However, in the second cycle, a significant increase in the accuracy of their understanding was observed. Thus, the application of the audiovisual method has proven effective in improving students' skills in understanding the meaning of faith in angels.

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of adding hyperplasticizer and retarder on the compressive strength of self-compacting concrete. Fine aggregate and coarse aggregate from the Jenneberang River, Kab. Gowa. The concrete mix design uses a trial and error mix design for self-compacting concrete by making visual observations, so that the physical conditions of the mixture appear to be sufficient to produce a good mix. The stages of this research, by finding a comparison of the slump flow values ​​of the self-compacting Concrete concrete, then making test objects, after that curing the test objects using the water curing method for 28 days, then testing the compressive strength of the self-compacting Concrete concrete to produce comparison to the compressive strength of normal(conventional) concrete. The results of this research show that self-compacting concrete has a compressive strength value of 46.25 Mpa compared to normal concrete of 45.02 Mpa, an increase of 2.73% compared to normal concrete. And the slump value of normal concrete is 8 - 13 cm, while the slump flow of self-compacting concrete is 63 - 84.9 cm, with a time range between 2.53 - 3.46 seconds, able to reach a diameter of 500 mm on the segregation board.  

This research aims to analyze the learning styles of 11th-grade students in Class MP 2 at SMK N 1 Bangli in the context of learning English. The findings indicate that the majority of students have a preference for kinesthetic learning style, followed by auditory and visual learning styles. Despite the dominance of the kinesthetic learning style, some students also show tendencies towards auditory and visual learning styles. Meanwhile, the research identifies several learning difficulties faced by students, such as a lack of motivation, basic English language proficiency, and limited school resources. To address these challenges, teachers and schools are advised to create an environment that supports students' learning motivation, pay special attention to mastering basic English language skills, and enhance students' access to quality learning resources, including the use of technology such as utilizing smartphones for learning activities. The purpose of this assistance is to introduce and provide basic knowledge about hijaiyah letters, both in the form of readings and the basic forms of these letters. This assistance was carried out due to the lack of interest in reading and writing the Qur'an in Korong Simpang Tiga due to the Covid-19 situation and conditions that hit at that time. This assistance is carried out using the Particitpatory Action Research (PAR) method with the initial stage, namely by providing a general description by writing the hijaiyah letter shape on the blackboard, then introducing the reading by singing the song "hijaiyah letters". The next stage is to sing together by pointing one by one to the hijaiyah letters sung. The results of assistance in the first stage were obtained by children who previously did not know the hijaiyah letters, becoming aware of the hijaiyah letter shape by visualizing the shape of the letter on the blackboard. Then it was obtained that children who previously had little interest in learning the Qur'an became eager to learn by using the method of singing with the song "hijaiyah letters" and giving an idea of the shape of the hijaiyah letters. Then with the method of singing as well as visualizing the shape of the letters, it makes children who do not understand the differences between hijaiyah letters understand the differences between letters with one another. In using this method, children are also obtained who memorize and can write back the hijaiyah letters requested by the author.

In developing this system through several stages, namely: needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing and development of the system. For the testing phase, a functional test is carried out using the Visual Studio application, used to test the function of the application that has been built, whether it meets what is needed. If the results of application testing have gone well and there are no problems. This web-based printing service system was created to make it easier for customers and owners to place orders and transactions. Village Development Students at the East Java "Veteran" National Development University, Visual Communication Design Study Program were assigned to create a new logo design and standard graphic manual for the business entity. This design was carried out by means of direct observation, interviews and data collection through SWOT analysis. The aim of this design is to facilitate the identification of the Sukses Bersama Simpang Village-Owned Enterprise, reflect the institution's values and mission, and improve its image and reputation. Benefits include providing an impression of professionalism, increasing trust, and creating a strong, consistent identity. Alas Outbound is an educational tourist destination in Simpang village, Prambon District, Sidoarjo regency, which offers various facilities and activities, such as playground rides, swimming pools, fish ponds, mud ponds, and education about animals, plantations, Fisheries, and natural scenery. The Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM) of the Visual Communication Design Education Program of the National Development University "Veteran" East Java was held here with the aim of designing a sign system design and a floor plan for the educational outbound area. Its remote location makes it difficult for the community to find it, so it needs environmental graphics in the form of a sign system that includes area plans, location instructions, and information about various areas on the educational outbound pedestal. The design of this sign system is divided into three phases: pre-production, production, and post-production. The graphics used in this sign system are taken from the theme of several areas in Alas Outbound education that focuses on the advantages of Agro Education. There are three main types of sign systems, including 14 animal education information sign designs, 6 plantation education information sign designs, 1 fisheries education information sign Design, 2 welcome signs that highlight animal education & agro education, and 1 map sign. Although each type of sign system has uniformity in the form of boards and text colors, gate signs have differences in the form of plates and text colors to be easily distinguished by visitors. All signs are placed around the educational animal and Agro educational educational outbound Alas Prambon, Sidoarjo, in accordance with the type and purpose of each to provide clear guidance to visitors about the location, information, and areas that they can visit in the educational outbound Alas.

Soft Tissue Neck MRI Examination Technique With Liposarcoma Clinical At The Mayapada Hospital Installation, South Jakarta. MRI examination techniques have a very important role in the medical field because of their ability to produce visual images of the body's soft tissue and metabolic processes. Liposarcoma is a malignancy of mature fat cells in the connective tissue space1. Liposarcoma is the most common type of soft tissue sarcoma, appearing slowly, enlarging, painless, non-ulcerated submucosal mass in middle-aged people, some lesions grow rapidly and become ulcerated early, Liposarcoma is a rare malignant tumor. The purpose of this examination is to find out whether the image results produced using the sequence at Mayapada Hospital can produce a firm image in confirming the diagnosis of liposarcoma. This research is a qualitative study with a case study method using 3 patients who underwent an MRI examination of neck soft tissue with clinical liposarcoma. Data was collected using observation, documentation and interviews with radiographers and radiologists. The results of the data that have been collected can be concluded that the results of the soft tissue MRI examination of the neck with clinical liposarcoma carried out at Mayapada Hospital, South Jakarta are good in confirming the diagnosis and the results of a more detailed anatomical picture.

One of the easiest ways to detect cervical cancer early is with a visual examination of acetic acid. Early detection of cervical cancer by visual examination with acetic acid is guaranteed by the government, namely BPJS Kesehatan, and is included in the national health insurance program. The purpose of the study was to determine the low participation of women of childbearing age in acetic acid visual examination by UPT Puskesmas Timpah. The method used in this study is descriptive research. Questionnaires made by purposive sampling technique are used as data collection instruments; The maximum number of samples in the study sample is 30 samples. The respondents of this study were women of childbearing age. The results showed that based on respondents' knowledge of information, 26 respondents were uninformed (86.66%), 20 respondents (93.33%) did not support men. In the field of education, 21 people were found to have elementary and junior high school education as much as 70%, in the support of officers it was found that 20 people did not support (66.67%). Regarding access to information, it is known that 22 people did not get any assistance to get information (73.33%).
