This study aims to investigate the influence of academic qualifications, managerial capabilities, and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on emotional exhaustion and its implications for employee productivity at Sunan Kudus Islamic Hospital. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via a questionnaire from 138 respondents. Instrument evaluation procedures were conducted through validity and reliability tests, while hypothesis testing was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings reveal that academic qualifications and POS have a significant negative effect on emotional exhaustion, indicating that increased intellectual competence and strong organizational support are effective in reducing staff emotional exhaustion. Conversely, managerial capabilities were found to have no significant influence on emotional exhaustion. In the context of performance, the analysis results show that academic qualifications, managerial capabilities, and POS have a partial, positive, and significant effect on work productivity. Practically, this study suggests that hospital management prioritize human capital development and the strengthening of a supportive organizational climate to mitigate emotional exhaustion while accelerating operational efficiency in a sustainable manner.

This study examines women’s transformational leadership in educational institutions through a systematic literature review approach. The increasing involvement of women in leadership positions in schools and universities has attracted academic attention to understand their contribution to organizational development and the improvement of educational quality. This study aims to synthesize recent empirical research findings on women’s transformational leadership in education. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing relevant studies published between 2021–2026 through academic databases such as Google Scholar and ScienceDirect using the keywords “transformational leadership,” “women leadership,” and “education or school.” After a selection process based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, 15 empirical articles were analyzed. The findings indicate that female leaders tend to demonstrate transformational leadership characteristics, including inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, idealized influence, and individualized consideration. These leadership practices positively affect teacher motivation and performance, organizational commitment, organizational climate, and learning innovation. However, women in leadership positions still face challenges such as gender stereotypes, structural bias, and social expectations regarding gender roles, indicating the need for institutional support and more inclusive policies.

This study explores the principal’s leadership strategies and the role of organizational climate in improving teacher work discipline. Teacher discipline is a crucial element in ensuring instructional quality, professional accountability, and sustainable school performance. A qualitative case study approach was employed to obtain an in-depth understanding of leadership practices implemented in the natural setting of the school. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis involving the principal, vice principals, and teachers. The findings reveal that discipline improvement is shaped by exemplary leadership, dialogic communication, continuous coaching, and the application of humanistic regulations supported by moral and social rewards. In addition, a collegial and supportive organizational climate strengthens collective awareness and encourages teachers to comply with professional standards voluntarily. Discipline is therefore constructed not merely through administrative control but through shared values and social interaction. This study contributes to educational leadership literature by providing contextual evidence of how leadership practices interact with organizational environments in shaping teacher behavior. Practically, the findings offer guidance for school leaders in designing participatory and sustainable discipline development strategies.

The quality of educational human resources (HR) is a key factor in determining the quality and success of educational implementation in schools. However, many schools still face problems of low performance, motivation, and professionalism among teachers and educational staff due to leadership that is not responsive to the diversity of conditions and human resource needs. This study aims to examine situational leadership as a strategy employed by school principals to improve the quality of educational human resources. The study adopts a literature review approach with qualitative content analysis of books, scholarly journal articles, and relevant previous research. The findings indicate that situational leadership enables school principals to adjust leadership styles directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating according to the levels of readiness, competence, and motivation of teachers and educational staff. Adaptive and participative leadership contributes positively to improved performance, work commitment, professionalism, and the creation of a conducive organizational climate and school culture. Therefore, situational leadership can be used as a strategic approach in planning, implementing, and evaluating sustainable educational quality improvement programs.

This study aims to analyze the role of spiritual leadership of the kiai in strengthening the organizational resilience of Al-Asy’ary Islamic Boarding School in the era of Society 5.0. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the kiai, teachers, and students, as well as observation and supporting documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the kiai’s spiritual leadership is a key determinant of pesantren resilience through the integration of transcendental, ethical-humanistic, and adaptive-progressive dimensions. The kiai successfully guides the selective and meaningful use of digital technology by positioning it as a means of service (khadam), rather than an end in itself. Leadership practices based on role modeling, moral values, and spiritual reinforcement foster students’ moral autonomy and create a stable organizational climate amid digital disruption. This study concludes that the resilience of traditional pesantren in the Society 5.0 era lies in the strength of spiritual values sustained through adaptive and continuous spiritual leadership.

Job satisfaction is the positive or negative feeling employees have toward their work, which arises from evaluating various aspects of the job. This study aims to analyze and explain the role of organizational climate in mediating the effect of transformational leadership on the job satisfaction of Taman Prakerti Bhuana employees through an associative quantitative approach using saturated sampling (census) on 86 employees and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational climate, while organizational climate has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction and negatively mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and job satisfaction. These findings have theoretical implications for Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, in which transformational leadership serves as a motivator factor that can increase job satisfaction, while negative perceptions of organizational climate reflect weaknesses in hygiene factors such as policies, communication, and working conditions, thereby potentially reducing satisfaction even when motivators are fulfilled. The practical implication for the management of Taman Prakerti Bhuana is the need for a comprehensive evaluation of internal policies, communication systems, and work environments to strengthen hygiene factors so that transformational leadership, which is already running effectively, can be supported by a more conducive organizational climate and sustainably enhance job satisfaction.

The purpose of this investigation is to analyze the influence of digital transaction methods on the control mechanisms of cash revenue at the Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel. The study applies a qualitative descriptive design, where information is gathered through interviews, field observations, and the review of supporting documents, including transcripts of discussions. The findings reveal that digital payments at the Grand Hyatt Bali provide convenience to guests in conducting transactions such as transaction speed, recording accuracy, and ease in the verification process. However, the use of digital payments also has a negative impact where digital cash receipts are recorded in the accounts receivable section requiring many supporting documents making it appear less optimal and less functional and highly dependent on the availability and stability of the internet network connection. From an internal control perspective, digital payments help improve transparency and accuracy in cash recording processes. The risk of miscalculations or data manipulation is reduced because transaction evidence is readily available digitally, in the form of sales slips, system notifications, and account statements. The mechanism of internal supervision regarding cash inflows at Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel based on COSO consists of several components, namely the organizational climate, monitoring practices, hazard analysis, exchange of insights and knowledge, and supervision. Overall, the implementation of internal controls has been carried out by all staff, however, the implementation is still not optimal related to the collection of documents that are still late, this is caused by staff knowledge about the documents required when digital payments are still not executed according to the procedures outlined in the SOP.
