Adolescent mental health is an important issue in the world. In Indonesia, the prevalence of mental disorders in adolescents is still high, but awareness of prevention and treatment is relatively low. This research aims to analyze the influence of knowledge on behavior to prevent mental disorders in students at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta. The research uses quantitative methods with a pre-test and post-test design without a control group (one group pre-test post-test design). Education is provided in the form of counseling, followed by measuring the level of knowledge and behavior before and after the intervention. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test with SPSS software. The results showed a significant increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test (significant value = 0.011). Effective education increases students' awareness and preventive behavior towards mental disorders. Therefore, mental health education programs need to be implemented on an ongoing basis to create a mentally and emotionally healthy generation.

This study aims to analyze the factors that cause smoking behavior in class XI students at SMP X Surakarta. Smoking behavior among teenagers, especially in school environments, is a significant problem, because it can affect students' physical and mental health. This research uses observation and interview methods with students who are involved in smoking behavior. The results of the research show that the main factors influencing students' smoking behavior are the influence of peers, boredom during class, and the emotional pressure or stress felt by students. Apart from that, family factors also play a role in smoking habits, such as the presence of family members who smoke. Smoking intensity varied between students, with the most frequently chosen smoking areas being hidden areas at school and home. The impacts of this behavior include serious health risks and reduced quality of life. Therefore, this research suggests increasing health education in schools, providing education to parents, strict supervision in the school environment, and providing alternative positive activities for students. It is hoped that this research will provide insight into efforts to prevent smoking among teenagers and create a healthier environment.

This study examines the relationship between education level and understanding of insulin therapy among type 2 diabetes mellitus patients undergoing insulin therapy at RSUD dr. M. Soewandhi Surabaya. Using a descriptive observational method with a cross-sectional design, data were collected from interviews and medical record observations from 100 patients aged 15-64. The findings reveal that most patients had low educational backgrounds, with 27% never attending school and 39% only completing high school. Regarding insulin therapy comprehension, 10% demonstrated good understanding, 55% moderate, and 35% poor. The highest comprehension was insulin usage rules, while the lowest was injection techniques. The study underscores the need for tailored health education to improve patient understanding, particularly for low-education groups. Limitations of the study include the single-site setting and potential response biases from interviews. Future research should expand to include diverse populations and examine non-educational factors influencing therapy comprehension, such as cultural and economic conditions.

The threat of disease for people in the world is cancer. Breast cancer is a cancer that worries women. The Indonesian government prioritizes the management of breast cancer without neglecting the treatment of other types of cancer. One of the efforts to detect breast cancer is by doing breast self-examination (BSE). The BSE examination is most appropriate to be carried out routinely, at least once every month, to be precise on the 7-10th day after menstruation because at this time the breasts feel soft. The purpose of being aware of it regularly is to feel and get to know the curves of the breasts, so that if there is a change it can be detected immediately. Based on the problems found, the methods used in this community service activity are: 1) Counseling on breast self-examination (BSE), 2) Demonstration of BSE examination. Community service activities carried out in face-to-face events and counseling regarding Health Education Regarding Breast Self-Examination (Sadari) at SMP Paba Sampali are in accordance with the planning and are well implemented. Activities carried out face to face with the lecture method (counseling). This counseling will be held on Saturday, November 20 th from 15.00 to 16.00 WIB. There were 23 participants in the activity.. The results of the implementation of the activity showed that 70% of the participants were correct in answering the pre-test questions distributed.
