This research explores the influential role of Islamic preaching, known as dakwah, in nurturing and reinforcing nationalistic values among young Muslims. It emphasizes the significance of integrating religious teachings with messages of patriotism to shape the mindset and attitudes of the youth towards their nation. Rather than viewing dakwah solely as a tool for religious propagation, this study positions it as a strategic and educational instrument that can instill a deep sense of national identity, unity, and active participation in national development.Employing a qualitative research methodology with a descriptive approach, this study analyzes various contemporary forms of dakwah, including religious lectures, Islamic study circles, digital platforms such as social media, and involvement in Islamic youth organizations. These channels are assessed for their effectiveness in conveying messages that resonate with the daily lives and societal roles of Muslim youth. The findings indicate that when Islamic values are harmoniously combined with national ideals, dakwah becomes a powerful vehicle for character building. It fosters a generation of young Muslims who are not only spiritually grounded but also exhibit strong civic awareness and a sense of responsibility towards preserving national unity and diversity. Ultimately, this research highlights the dual function of dakwah as both a spiritual guide and a catalyst for patriotic consciousness in the younger Muslim population.

Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales is a work that discusses the issue of body shaming and social pressure on beauty standards. Through a qualitative approach with social comparison theory analysis, this study reveals how the representation of body aesthetics is displayed in the film. The main character, Rara, experiences pressure to meet ideal beauty standards, such as a slim body and white skin, both in her work environment and family. This phenomenon reflects social construction and popular culture that reinforces beauty stereotypes. The impacts of this pressure include decreased self-esteem, anxiety, and unhealthy dieting behavior. This study shows that media-promoted beauty standards have a negative impact on individual mental health and encourage appearance-based discrimination. The film also critiques narrow beauty standards while conveying important messages about self-acceptance and diversity.

This article offers an analysis of the role of Christian religious education in overcoming radicalism in the Indonesian context. Radicalism in Indonesia is multifaceted, and religious, political, social, and ethnic factors contribute to its prevalence. Religious differences often give rise to misunderstandings and violence which then occurs. Political radicalism stems from power dynamics, including state-sponsored oppression or interstate conflict. Social radicalism manifests through extreme tactics aimed at societal transformation, sometimes ignoring legal norms. Ethnic radicalism promotes a supremacist ideology, justifying violence or discrimination against other ethnic groups. Using qualitative research and literature analysis, this research explores the intersection between Christian education, radicalism, and diversity. The results of research on Christian religious education in Indonesia emphasize values such as diversity, tolerance and peace, which provide a counterweight to radical ideology.
