Ambarawa Regional General Hospital (RSUD) is a Public Service Agency Regional (BLUD) belonging to Semarang Regency which operates in the field of public health services. Ambarawa Regional Hospital is located at Jalan Kartini No. 101 Ambarawa. So far, inventory data processing. At the Ambarawa Regional General Hospital (RSUD) it is still processed manually, there are several problems. What often arises is not knowing the depreciation value of goods each month, not yet applying it database system and low inventory data security system. The author used 3 research methods for data collection in this research, namely observation, interviews and literature study. The observation method used by the author is by carry out direct practice on problems that occur. Interview conducted by the author with the employees concerned, while in the literature study the author looked for related literature with research and used as a theoretical basis. From the analysis and research results, it can be seen that the solution to the problem above is: create an Inventory Data Recording Information System that uses a programming language Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database processing system. Procedures will consist of p5 main parts, namely inventory data collection, room data collection, inventory item placement transactions, inventory item mutation transactions and line method depreciation straight. This system is expected to increase the effectiveness of inventory data processing in hospitals Ambarawa Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

KUD Plongkowati Timur is located at Jalan Godong-Karangrayung, Grobogan Regency, which apart from operating in the savings and loan business unit, is also a distributor of fertilizer products produced by PT. Petrokima Gresik and PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. In running the fertilizer distributor business unit at KUD Plongkowati Timur, the process of recording purchase and sales transactions is not carried out using an integrated system in the database, all data is still recorded conventionally by the administration section, while the administration section's computer functions to create reports which are copied from notes provided by cashier so that data security is not guaranteed because the database is not yet integrated. Based on the problems that exist in the East Plongkowati KUD, the author would like to propose a design of a Fertilizer Inventory application system to be taken into consideration in helping speed up the process of recording purchase and sales transactions and can provide the information needed by the East Plongkowati KUD, Grobogan Regency in the form of purchase reports, sales reports, reports. suppliers, customer reports. So the design of the fertilizer inventory information system uses the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language with a database from Microsoft Access 2007 and the design of reports from Crystal Report 7. It is hoped that making this application can be one of the efforts that can be made to overcome problems that often occur so that it can increase work effectiveness which of course will have an impact on improving the quality of service to customers.

The selection system at Bina Negara Gubug Vocational School Jl. KH. Hasan Anwar No.9 Gubug currently processes data on the criteria for each student for each type of scholarship. It does not yet have a database system but uses a computerized system with Microsoft Excel, so there are often delays in the selection process in preparing the selection report for scholarship recipients. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) development model by Borg and Gall with 6 steps of development, namely Research and Information Collecting, Planning, Develop Premilinary Form of Product, Premilinary Field Testing, Main Product Revision, Main Field Testing. The scholarship selection decision support system application product uses the SAW (Simple Additive Waighting) method. Visual Basic 6.0 development software and Microsoft Access database. This system can provide a useful solution for the decision-making system for selecting scholarship recipients for schools so that a better and faster selection can be achieved.

Lighting is a major requirement in human life to be able to see objects around clearly, lighting is obtained from natural light sources and artificial light sources. The IDB laboratory building of the FMIPA UNESA has many rooms with different functions and uses, so the lighting of each room must be adjusted to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 03-6575-2001). Therefore, a program is needed to analyze and determine the number of lights used quickly and accurately in order to achieve safe and comfortable lighting according to (SNI 03-6575-2001). In this case the method used is to use the calculation of the visual basic 6.0 program by inputting the dimensions of each room, namely length, width, height, and the type of artificial lighting used. Based on the results of the calculation of the lighting standards of the IDB building using the visual basic 6.0 program, it is known that only the prayer room on the 1st floor, the microscope room on the 2nd floor, the warehouse on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors and the microteaching room on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors meet SNI 03-6575-2001. Whereas for other rooms such as libraries and laboratories cannot meet SNI 03-6575-2001 so that action needs to be taken so that they can meet the standards, namely by increasing the number of lighting points in each room, or it can also be by replacing the type of lighting with a larger lumen value than before.

The use of computers in the development of Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) teaching materials can be used to assist lecturers in learning activities on vocational campuses as well as other materials in the Computer Base Training (CBT) laboratory at the Indonesian Maritime Polytechnic. The CBT laboratory provides learning materials on ship machinery systems and multiple choice questions for learning evaluation. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of the use of ECDIS material learning media software when used computer-based. The method used in this study is a qualitative method by looking at the final grades of students. This software consists of 42 slides of ECDIS material theory, 1 slide of ECDIS material video tutorial, 1 slide of ECDIS material practice, 20 slides of multiple choice evaluation questions, and 1 slide of final grades made using Visual Basic software. The results of the test showed that all cadets who attended the lecture were successful in using the software until the final grade was obtained.

A calendar is a system for naming a period of time and is known as a Calendar Date. The Gregorian calendar is used throughout the world including Indonesia, this calendar is calculated from the birth of Jesus from Nazareth, the calculation uses the pattern of the sun's movement. The Gregorian calendar has 12 months in a year and 7 days in a week. The Hijri calendar is a calendar system based on the circulation of the moon around the earth, called Hijiriah because of its first year when the migration of the Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina took place in 662 AD. Due to the different intervals or repetitions between the day and the weton where the day will return to the same day after 7 days while the weton will return to the same weton after 5 days, it is quite difficult to find out the day and weton on a certain date that is hundreds or thousands of days apart from the current date. Recording financial transactions is an important activity that must be carried out by a business. In accounting, recording financial transactions is a fundamental thing that must be done. With these records, all business financial transactions can be accounted for and brought to the financial statements. Computerized technology using barcodes in payment transactions has the aim of increasing speed, accuracy, and service quality. In carrying out payment administration activities still using the manual system will have an impact on the Administrative officer having difficulty finding data on students who want to pay and the network (LAN) has not been implemented on the computer is also a problem at the research site, because to share data with the treasurer and principal becomes constrained, data can be damaged, lost or misused because its security is not guaranteed. In solving these problems, the researchers collected data and facts that existed at the research site, then designed a payment administration information that was in accordance with the needs of the school. In making Administrative Information System Integrated With Barcode Reader, researchers used Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language, MySQL Server database as data storage media and Subtime Text as tools to create source code. In the preparation of this application using object-oriented methods.

The Mranggen III Health Center is one of the government agencies in the technical implementing unit of the Demak District health office. Patient registration services and administrative payments at the Mranggen III Health Center are still conventional, causing long queues. In addition, the process of processing data to become information cannot be accessed directly by the leadership because there are no computerized and multi-user or client-server applications. Based on these problems, a Puskesmas administration information system design was made that could suit the needs. Making an information system using the programming language Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 as a multiuser-based database. With the design of the development of an administrative information system for the Mranggen III Health Center, it is hoped that it will be able to handle the problems that exist in the Mranggen III Health Center, namely being able to speed up service to patients and by using a multiuser-based information system. Leaders and several staff can access it simultaneously and quickly.

Incremental rotary encoder is a sensor that can be used to measure the degree of rotation in ship steering simulations. To create a ship steering simulation, Visual Basic software was used to simulate the movement of the rudder and ship. Meanwhile, to obtain incremental rotary encoder reading data, serial communication is used via Universal Serial Bus (USB) media bridged by Arduino which is programmed to convert incremental sensor signals into ASCII signals with a bolt rate of 9600 bps. The aim of this research is to test the accuracy level of the incremental rotary encoder sensor in ship steering simulations using Visual Basic software on commercial ships by using the Solas rule that a ship's rudder must comply when rotated from the midship position to the 35 degree port side position followed by the 35 degree position. starboard side and returning to midship, the rudder movement time was less than 28 seconds. Test results in terms of response speed of the incremental rotary encoder sensor are very good, while in terms of accuracy level for one degree of steering rotation, the result is 4.571 on the Arduino IDE serial monitor reading..

PT. Perkebunan Sidoredjo Ungaran Kab.Semarang adalah salah satu perusahaan distributor yang bergerak dibidang penjualan karet mentah dan cengkeh kering. Pada akhir periode akuntansi bulanan, perusahaan ini melakukan proses penggajian pada karyawannya dan membuat laporan gaji sebagai pertanggung jawaban kepada pimpinan perusahaan. Proses pencatatan dan perhitungan gaji yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan ini masih bersifat manual. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ditemukan, penulis mengusulkan kepada PT.Perkebunan Sidoredjo untuk merancang aplikasi penggajian yang akan membantu menghitung gaji karyawan agar lebih efektif dan efisien. Sistem ini akan penulis rancang menggunakan Visual Basic.Net. Karena aplikasi tersebut mudah dipahami, selain itu dalam penanganan Bug, Visual Basic.Net mempunyai fasilitas yang hebat dan Real Time Backgroud Compiler. Perancangan sistem ini akan melibatkan sistem lama yang ada di perusahaan untuk membuat sistem yang baru. Sistem yang telah selesai dibuat diharapkan perusahaan akan memperoleh kemudahan dalam menginput data sekaligus membantu pihak perusahaan dalam menyusun laporan penggajian secara akurat dan efesien.

Kelurahan is one of the government agencies which is the spearhead in administrative services to the wider community, the Kaliwungu subdistrict is an administrative part of the Kaliwungu sub-district, Semarang Regency which is located at Jl. Raya Ampel –Simo KM 8, in the service and processing of population administration data in the Kaliwungu village, they still use the conventional method, namely the data is still stored separately in books, this of course has weaknesses such as when looking for data records, difficulties in making reports population that cannot be obtained immediately and the process of data collection and storage of population archive data that is still stored and recorded manually. This research was conducted using the Research & Development Method through the system design stages which were validated by experts and product prototypes that were field tested by involving users. Making a prototype of an electronic filing system (e-filing) system application using the ALFRED method approach to analyze the system, the software used using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as a design medium and as a programming language, and a SQL Server database as a storage medium. The final result of this research is a product prototype of a filing system using an electronic filing system (e-filing) which has been declared to be functioning properly so that it can produce useful information for the archiving process up to the stage of making reports, which can be done quickly and accurately in accordance with established procedures. already exist, making it easier to re-access archives and provide public services with accurate and integrated information

Inventory is a current asset that has a major role in the accounting cycle. Assyfa Farma Pharmacy is the business of an individual-owned dispensary that is developing in Mranggen District, Demak Regency. The problem faced by Assyfa Farma Pharmacy is that there is no minimum stock of goods because there is no warning that the stock will run out. The number of products that are almost entering the expiration date are on shelves and insecure data storage so that they have a very large risk of data being lost because it is stolen by irresponsible parties. This system will alert the user to the remaining stock of existing goods and the expiration date of the goods. The security of inventory processing data will be guaranteed with a password for users so that anyone cannot access the database. This inventory information system will be built with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as database and multi user network using FEFO method as goods storage method.

The inventory system is one of the most important managerial functions, because the majority of companies involve large investments in this aspect, as well as for PT Sango Ceramics Indonesia which uses a lot of inventory in the field of planning and controlling its inventory costs. PT Sango Ceramics Indonesia is a company engaged in the ceramic industry. Problems that often occur so far include the company not determining the frequency of ordering raw materials and storing raw materials, as a result the costs incurred by the company for ordering raw materials are quite high, and the absence of a safety stock to anticipate uncertain inventory needs. The Periodic Review method is a method that can help the process of controlling raw material inventory costs. This method uses an approach to the concept of the number of orders economically used in each period which is a diverse demand. The application of the Periodic Review Method (R, s, s) policy on the inventory system is able to produce a lower total inventory cost, order volume and inventory levels in a balanced manner. . Judging from these problems, the authors need to redesign the stock information system using a computer-based system, namely Microsoft Visual Basic. System design using Qlient Server which consists of input design, system design and procedure, output design fiber. This new system is expected to be able to overcome the weaknesses of the previously used information system.

An application is usually used by several users where each user has access rights to certain forms in accordance with their authority or position. CV Sinar Karya Ungaran is a private company which is engaged in the distributor of Electric tools. CV Sinar Karya is located on the road Dabo II / D30 RT6 Nitibuana, Ungaran Regency Semarang Tel. (024) 3584074 - 3584075. This company has a wide enough working area covering Central Java and DIY. Because the working area is quite extensive and the number of processes in and out of goods, the company must be more careful in calculating inventory. In the process of recording and counting inventory at this time the company is still using Microsoft Excel so there are still many obstacles. One of the difficulties experienced is the frequent occurrence of errors in making inventory reports. Besides making reports takes longer because there is no computerized database system. With the development of technology, especially in the field of computers, the authors try to create a computer-based inventory program using Visual Basic 6.0. This study designed a system that is able to assist companies in calculating cash receipts and disbursements. The Accounting Information System for Cash Receipts and Expenditures will be equipped with the use of user log-ins to maintain the level of data security so that not just anyone can misuse the data. The system designed will also be equipped with security of access rights and data storage systems, providing a database using the Visual Basic 6.0 programming language that holds records of cash receipts and disbursements to be a good report, summarizing the process of moving data from ledgers to becoming cash reports flow, and can document each period's report so that it can be grouped properly. The research method used is the Borg and Gall R&D research approach which consists of 10 stages, out of 10 R&D stages the author only conducts the research approach to the 6th stage alone. and monitoring cash flow very well. In addition, it can also produce reports that are precise, accurate and efficient.

Data collection on employee attendance at a company is a must, with the aim of monitoring discipline, calculating employee salaries, and other needs. Data collection on employee attendance at companies that are used today is very diverse, following the development of technology. The United Tronik Semarang office, which employs relatively many employees, currently uses a manual card attendance data collection system that attracts researchers to make the United Tronik Office the object of research.  Fingerprint is one of the hardware used to support employee attendance data collection which is relatively simple and easy to reach, the accuracy and ease of operation make the fingerprint attendance system more and more in demand. One of the human error problems in the attendance data collection system is attendance recording errors, especially for employees with shift work hours. Arrangement of work shifts in programs built with Visual Basic 2010 can minimize attendance recording errors, because it can set the recording time for employees. To support the ease of data access and shift settings, the researcher uses a Client Server database system with SQL Server 2005 Software.

YK store is a UKM (small and medium enterprises) whose activities are buying and selling wholesale goods such as oil, spices, noodles, flour, coconut milk, pepper, and others in moderation (wholesale). YK store manager does not have a bookkeeping application system for the process of making financial reports in accordance with financial accounting standards, and there is no support system for merchandise inventory which supports buying and selling transactions. Information systems for managing merchandise needed by companies to determine value according to transactions, for financial statements will use a journal of eternal methods to buy and sell transactions then post them to the ledger and make financial reports for all businesses.
