This study aims to formulate an integrated Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning strategy that synthesizes the acculturation of Islam Nusantara and ecological ethics as a response to the fragmented character of conventional PAI learning which has not yet optimally integrated local cultural values and ecological awareness. This research employs a qualitative library research method with a systematic literature review approach, analyzing 28 primary sources selected from 67 identified literature published between 2019 and 2025. Data were analyzed using Braun and Clarke's thematic analysis through six stages: familiarization, initial coding, theme searching, theme reviewing, theme defining, and report writing. The findings reveal that Islam Nusantara contains three relevant pedagogical principles cultural humility (tawadu' budaya), cosmological inclusivity, and peaceful transformation while Islamic teachings hold rich ecotheological dimensions through the concepts of ecological tauhid, khalifah fi al-ardh, amanah, and rahmatan lil 'alamin. Based on this synthesis, four integrated learning strategies are formulated: Contextual-Cultural Learning, Eco-Thematic Quranic Interpretation, Community-Based Ecological Projects, and Ecological Spiritual Reflection. This study proposes a new conceptual framework termed "PAI Nusantara-Ekologis," which positions students not merely as ritually devout individuals but as responsible stewards (khalifah) of the earth.

The death of a Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) student allegedly linked to police action raises significant legal issues concerning the limits of the use of force and the construction of criminal liability. This study aims to reformulate the elements of assault resulting in death by integrating the objective element (actus reus) and the subjective element (mens rea) within the framework of the doctrines of dolus and culpa. It also seeks to develop a model of criminal liability analysis that is more transparent, accountable, and oriented toward the protection of a child’s right to life. This research employs a normative juridical method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches, supported by a literature review of legislation, court decisions, and criminal law scholarship. Data are analyzed qualitatively through grammatical, systematic, and teleological interpretation. The findings indicate that proving the act and the resulting death alone is insufficient without clearly establishing the form of fault. The distinction between dolus eventualis and culpa lata constitutes a decisive factor in determining the classification of the offense and the degree of criminal liability. Ambiguity in identifying the spectrum of fault may lead to sentencing disparities and weaken the principle of geen straf zonder schuld (no punishment without fault). Therefore, this study proposes a reconstruction of the elements of the offense that places proof of mens rea at the center of assessing police accountability while ensuring the protection of the child’s right to life.

The phenomena of cyberbullying and digital intolerance among young people are increasingly alarming in the era of technological disruption, and Christian Religious Education (CRE) is called to provide an adequate pedagogical response to this ethical crisis. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Emmanuel Levinas's ethics of responsibility toward the Other for the formation of students' digital character within CRE, and to formulate a pedagogical framework capable of transforming students' digital behavior from egocentric tendencies toward persons who uphold human dignity. A qualitative method with a library research design was employed, utilizing thematic content analysis of relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that Levinas's concepts of the face (le visage) and asymmetrical responsibility hold profound relevance for CRE, as they directly challenge the egocentric logic underlying destructive behavior in digital spaces. The pedagogical framework of CRE is formulated through three pillars: face-to-face pedagogy, alterity-based digital ethics literacy, and spirituality of responsibility as the foundation of transformation. The implications of this study affirm that CRE holds strategic potential to become a space for cultivating digital moral resilience, grounded in the affirmation of imago Dei and a transformative relational ethics.

This study uses an integrated analysis of positive law and Islamic law at Polres Bungo to investigate the reconstruction of sanctions for juvenile offenders during the investigation stage. Empirical trends suggest a procedural and administrative orientation that may restrict substantive rehabilitation, even though Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak (Juvenile Criminal Justice System Act) formally adopts restorative justice, diversion, and the best interests of the child as guiding principles. Using a multidisciplinary approach that integrates statutory, theological-normative (shar‘i), and historical considerations, this study uses a normative qualitative design based on library research. The theoretical framework incorporates maqāṣid al-sharīʿah as a normative evaluation instrument, legal effectiveness theory, and punishment theories. The findings reveal a conceptual convergence between Indonesian positive law and Islamic criminal jurisprudence in differentiating criminal responsibility based on maturity and prioritizing rehabilitation over retribution. There are still differences, nevertheless, when it comes to age criteria and the classification of sanctions: Islamic law places more emphasis on moral and biological maturity (baligh and tamyīz), whereas positive law focuses on strict legislative boundaries. The predominance of formal legality over psychosocial assessment at the investigative level runs the risk of undermining rehabilitative goals. In order to maintain proportionality and child protection, this study suggests a reconstructive paradigm that operationalizes maqāṣid-based principles, combines thorough psychological evaluation, and improves diversion measures. In addition to realistically advancing the creation of a more equitable, rehabilitative, and child-centered investigative framework, the research theoretically advances the conversation about harmonizing state and Islamic law.

The enforcement of election criminal law plays a crucial role in safeguarding democratic integrity and upholding the principle of popular sovereignty. Law Number 7 of 2017 establishes the Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Sentra Gakkumdu) as a coordinated mechanism involving the Election Supervisory Body, the Police, and the Prosecution Service in addressing election crimes. However, in practice, the Gakkumdu system has not fully ensured a balanced realization of legal certainty, substantive justice, and legal utility. This study aims to analyze the problems of election criminal law enforcement within the Gakkumdu system, examine the relevance of the Restorative Justice approach in election law, and formulate a reconstruction of election criminal law enforcement based on this approach. This research employs normative legal research using statutory, conceptual, legal philosophy, and legal policy approaches. The findings indicate that the weaknesses in election criminal law enforcement arise from institutional fragmentation, normative ambiguity, and a legal culture dominated by legalistic and sectoral perspectives. The Restorative Justice approach is considered relevant as it prioritizes substantive justice and the restoration of democratic values. Therefore, reconstructing election criminal law enforcement based on Restorative Justice is essential to strengthening democratic legitimacy and public trust in elections in Indonesia.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Indonesia has undergone a paradigmatic shift from voluntary philanthropic activities to a legally binding obligation grounded in various statutory regulations, particularly Law Number 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies and Law Number 25 of 2007 on Investment. This study aims to analyze the legal framework governing CSR in Indonesia from a public policy perspective, to evaluate the implementation of CSR by corporations, and to identify normative and empirical constraints that hinder the optimization of CSR as an instrument of sustainable development. The research employs a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, case-based, and policy analysis approaches. The findings indicate that CSR regulation remains partial in nature, primarily due to the limitation of mandatory obligations to specific sectors, the absence of clear and enforceable sanctions, and the lack of national standards for reporting and oversight.

Demonstrations demanding the dissolution of the House of Representatives by 2025 highlight a crisis of public trust and serve as a key moment in Indonesia's political landscape. These protests have not only symbolic significance but also lead to elite repositioning, the temporary dismissal of several members, and the cessation of policy that increased benefits. This study examines how the crisis has prompted political institutional reconstruction and the role of civil society in influencing change. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, including literature studies, analysis of academic literature, official documents, and media reports. The findings indicate that actions by the House of Representatives, such as the rotation of Commission III leadership, member deactivation, and rejection of benefit increases, were primarily reactive to public pressure. The discussion reveals that while these actions reduce crisis escalation, they are cosmetic and do not address structural issues like legislative accountability and budget transparency. In conclusion, the 2025 protests provide an opportunity for civil society to engage politically outside elections, but the institutional changes made are short-term. Fundamental reform can only occur if civil movements remain consistent and if political parties and the government commit to reform.

The development of academic writing skills among university students remains a serious challenge in higher education, particularly in Indonesian language courses that are often perceived as theoretical and procedural. This study aims to reconstruct Indonesian language learning through an Outcome Based Education (OBE) approach to strengthen students’ scientific writing skills at Universitas Muhammadiyah Maumere. Employing a qualitative research design, data were collected through classroom observations and in-depth interviews with students and lecturers over a three-week period. The findings reveal that OBE based learning encourages clearer learning objectives, increases students’ awareness of academic writing standards, and fosters reflective and critical writing practices. Students demonstrated improved understanding of scientific text structures, argument development, and academic language conventions. Furthermore, the learning process shifted from teacher centered instruction to a more participatory and student oriented model, allowing students to actively construct knowledge through observation, discussion, and writing practice. The study also highlights that the integration of contextual learning and continuous feedback plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ confidence and motivation in academic writing. These findings imply that OBE based Indonesian language instruction can serve as an effective pedagogical strategy to cultivate academic literacy, critical thinking, and responsible scholarly attitudes among university students. The study recommends broader implementation of OBE principles in language education to support sustainable improvement in higher education learning outcomes.

The challenges of modernity, including the secularization of knowledge, the fragmentation of values, and the increasingly pragmatic and utilitarian orientation of education, require a fundamental renewal of Islamic educational philosophy. In practice, Islamic education is often confined to normative and textualistic approaches that emphasize the transmission of doctrinal knowledge, which limits its responsiveness to social dynamics, scientific developments, and contemporary needs. This condition weakens the critical capacity of Islamic education in shaping individuals who are faithful, rational, and morally integrated. Accordingly, this study aims to examine Islamic educational philosophy from the perspective of critical thought reconstruction as an effort to address the challenges of modernity without shifting the fundamental principles of faith that serve as its normative foundation. This study employs a theoretical research approach through library research, using qualitative analysis of academic books, peer-reviewed journal articles, and relevant scholarly works on Islamic educational philosophy and critical thought. The analysis focuses on the ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions of Islamic education within the framework of critical reconstruction. The findings indicate that the reconstruction of Islamic educational philosophy is both an epistemological and practical necessity in responding to modern challenges. This reconstruction is not directed toward the domain of ʿaqīdah, which is qaṭʿī and normative in nature, but rather toward renewing modes of thinking, operational value systems, and educational practices. Consequently, Islamic education should function not merely at a normative level but as an effective instrument for individual and social transformation.

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) face the problem of stigmatization and negative image that has been rooted in public perception for several decades, where the social construction of TKI is dominated by narratives of exploitation, violence, and victimization reinforced by conventional mass media coverage. The phenomenon of TKI emerging as content creators on the TikTok platform opens new opportunities for migrant workers to represent themselves independently and build personal Branding that has the potential to reconstruct their image in public perception. This study aims to analyze the personal Branding strategies of TKI content creators on TikTok, measure the engagement patterns and reach of the content produced, and evaluate the transformation of public perception toward Indonesian migrant workers as an implication of these digital communication practices. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to explore the process of image reconstruction through personal Branding on the TikTok platform. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five TKI content creators who have followers ranging from 750 thousand to 2.3 million, interviews with 50 active followers, and interviews with two digital communication experts. The research findings show that TKI content creators implement personal Branding strategies through content authenticity, narrative consistency, and positioning differentiation with engagement rates. Public perception changed significantly with a decrease in negative perception from 68 percent to 18 percent and an increase in positive perception from 10 percent to 55 percent within an exposure period of more than 12 months. Image reconstruction occurs through three mechanisms: humanization that displays the human side of TKI, normalization that elevates the profession as work worthy of respect, and inspiration that demonstrates their positive achievements. This study recommends that the government and related stakeholders support digital literacy for migrant workers to optimize social media platforms as a means of empowerment, as well as promote policies that protect and appreciate the contribution of TKI as an integral part of national economic development.

Maqasid sharia is the foundation of Islamic law that needs to be reconstructed to remain relevant to the evolving times. Globalization, technological advancements, and social changes present new challenges, such as bioethics, digital economy, and social justice, which require a response from Islamic law. This article aims to analyze the reconstruction of maqasid sharia and its impact on the development of contemporary Islamic law. The research uses a qualitative approach through literature review and normative analysis. The findings show that the reconstruction of maqasid sharia should be carried out through a contextual reinterpretation of the objectives of sharia. This approach opens up broader space for ijtihad, ensuring that Islamic law remains relevant in addressing new issues. The reconstruction aims not only to align Islamic law with contemporary developments but also to strengthen its role in achieving justice and providing ethical solutions that meet the needs of modern society. Thus, Islamic law can continue to contribute to the advancement and well-being of humanity amidst global challenges.

The rapid growth of digital financial technology has introduced new economic instruments that require re-evaluation through the lens of Islamic economic law, one of which is Bitcoin. This study aims to analyze the legal standing of Bitcoin as a means of transaction and investment using a normative legal approach. Data were obtained through extensive literature review involving primary and secondary sources, including Islamic jurisprudence, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, qawā‘id fiqhiyyah, official fatwas, and contemporary technological and economic studies. The analysis employed normative and reconstructive methods to assess the compatibility of Bitcoin’s characteristics with the principles of Islamic law. The findings indicate that Bitcoin may be classified as a form of digital māl because it possesses utility, can be lawfully owned, and is tradable within open market mechanisms. However, its extreme price volatility, limited public acceptance, and absence of state-backed legitimacy make it unsuitable as a lawful medium of exchange in Islamic transactions. Conversely, Bitcoin may be permitted as an investment instrument under strict conditions, provided the activity avoids speculative motives, ensures transparency, and follows prudent financial conduct. Based on these assessments, this study concludes that Bitcoin is more appropriately categorized as a digital commodity rather than a transactional currency. This research contributes conceptually to the development of sharia-compliant crypto-asset regulations and opens avenues for further exploration on designing more stable and ethically aligned digital financial instruments.

State-based conservation in Indonesia often faces institutional failure and social resistance, resulting in continued deforestation. Conversely, Indigenous conservation models in West Java, specifically the Leuweung Larangan (forbidden forest), demonstrate significant ecological resilience. However, the legal standing of these customary practices within Islamic jurisprudence remains under-theorized, creating a dichotomy between Adat (custom) and Sharia. This study proposes a juridical reconstruction of the Sundanese taboo mechanism (Pamali) as Jarimah Ta’zir (discretionary sanction) to strengthen environmental law enforcement. Utilizing a socio-legal approach and ecological hermeneutics, this research analyzes Yusuf al-Qardhawi’s concept of Fiqh al-Bi’ah and Seyyed Hossein Nasr’s sacred science, alongside relevant empirical data on Indigenous forest governance. The findings demonstrate that Leuweung Larangan structurally manifests as Hima Syar’i (sacred protected zone). Operationally, Pamali functions not merely as a cultural myth, but as a preventive legal instrument (Sadd al-Dzari’ah) where environmental violations constitute religious criminal acts. This creates a "Sundanese Eco-theology" model that establishes a double-layered compliance system—social sanctions and theological liability—proving more effective for carbon preservation than state regulations alone. The study recommends integrating this model into the Green Constitution framework to resolve tenurial conflicts and enhance climate resilience.

Measurement learning is a fundamental and applicable mathematical topic in everyday life, but it often causes learning difficulties for students, especially in understanding the meaning of units, relationships between quantities, and the conceptual measurement process. These difficulties are not only caused by students' limited cognitive abilities, but also by learning designs that do not fully facilitate social interaction and student learning development. This study aims to reconstruct the contextual didactic design in measurement learning by reviewing the role of social interaction and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) in the student learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Didactic Design Research (DDR). The research stages include analysis of the initial didactic situation to identify student learning barriers, implementation of contextual didactic design in measurement learning, and retrospective analysis of student responses as a basis for reconstructing the didactic design. Data were collected through learning observations, analysis of student work results, interviews, and learning documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by examining social interaction patterns, forms of scaffolding, and student movements in the Zone of Proximal Development. The results of this study indicate that understanding of measurement concepts develops through social interactions between students and between students and teachers within a meaningful learning context. Social interactions and scaffolding provided gradually can encourage students to move from actual abilities to potential abilities within the Zone of Proximal Development. Retrospective analysis indicates that reconstruction of the didactic design is necessary to refine the learning context, activity sequence, and scaffolding strategies to better align with students' learning characteristics. The reconstruction of the didactic design can reduce learning barriers and improve the quality of students' conceptual understanding in measurement learning. This research provides theoretical contributions to the study of social constructivism-based mathematics education and provides practical implications for teachers in designing measurement learning that is more responsive to social interactions and student learning development.

The development of modern education requires a strong philosophical foundation to ensure that learning processes are not merely technical but oriented toward holistic human formation. This article aims to comprehensively analyze the role of the philosophy of science within contemporary education through a conceptual exploration grounded in an extensive literature review. The philosophy of science with its three major pillars: ontology, epistemology, and axiology serves as an analytical framework for understanding the nature of human beings, the structure of knowledge, and the values embedded within educational objectives. The research methodology employs the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings indicate that the philosophy of science plays a strategic role in providing direction and orientation for the development of humanistic, adaptive, and globally responsive education. Moreover, this study reveals that the advancement of scientific knowledge encounters significant challenges, including ontological complexity, epistemological crises driven by digital disruption, moral degradation, and shifting scientific paradigms. In the age of artificial intelligence and globalization, the philosophy of science emerges as an ethical and methodological compass to ensure that scientific progress remains aligned with human welfare. This study underscores the urgency of reconstructing educational paradigms by integrating humanistic values, local wisdom, and modern scientific thought to realize a future of science that is ethical, sustainable, and dignified.

The reconstruction of reality in films has a significant connection to everyday life, particularly in depicting cultural clashes that occur in the context of romantic relationships. Interactions between individuals from different cultural and religious backgrounds are becoming increasingly common, often giving rise to challenges and conflicts in relationship dynamics. Therefore, it is important to understand how films can reflect and interpret these issues. This study aims to identify the reconstruction of reality and cultural clashes present in the narrative of the film “Komang.” The method applied in this study is narrative analysis with a descriptive qualitative approach, which produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from the subjects being studied. The theoretical review used in this study is narrative analysis as proposed by Tzvetan Todorov, which emphasizes the existence of plot structure in a story. The results of this study show that this film depicts the complex and challenging dynamics faced by couples from different cultural and religious backgrounds. In addition, this film also raises crucial social issues, such as cultural and religious differences, as well as the importance of communication in maintaining romantic relationships.

This study aims to examine Nurcholish Madjid’s ideas on the reconstruction of pesantren curricula in facing the challenges of modernity. As traditional Islamic educational institutions, pesantren are often criticized for focusing heavily on fiqh and linguistic sciences, while modern society requires the integration of general knowledge, technology, and life skills. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, data were obtained from Nurcholish Madjid’s Bilik-Bilik Pesantren and related academic literature. The findings highlight three main issues in Cak Nur’s thought: (1) critique of the unbalanced traditional curriculum, (2) the gap between pesantren and the modern world, and (3) the need for reformulating a universal, rational, and inclusive Islamic weltanschauung. These ideas emphasize that pesantren curricula must balance tradition and modernity, strengthen faith and spirituality, while also fostering critical thinking, scientific literacy, and social ethics. The implication of this study suggests that integrative curricula are essential for pesantren to remain relevant in the era of globalization.

This study aims to explore how interpersonal communication plays a role in the process of constructing self-identity within the “Jemuah Keos” community in Surabaya. This community functions as an alternative social space inhabited by individuals with diverse creative backgrounds, such as musicians, motorcycle builders, visual artists, and subculture enthusiasts. The formation of identity in this community is not solely driven by individual expression but also shaped through social interactions that are reflective and rich in meaningful symbols. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with nine informants, and documentation of various visual artifacts representing the community’s activities. The data analysis process follows the interactive model by Miles and Huberman, which consists of three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The theoretical framework used in this study refers to Joseph A. DeVito's concept of interpersonal communication, which includes self-disclosure, empathy, emotional support, symbolic exchange, social values, as well as reflective interaction and role negotiation in social relationships. The findings indicate that interpersonal communication is a key element in shaping and negotiating personal identity. Cultural symbols such as clothing style, vehicle modifications, visual language, and daily interaction patterns become primary means of identity expression. The "Jemuah Keos" community demonstrates openness, equality, and a critical stance against the dominance of mainstream culture. Interpersonal communication within this community also plays a role in building collective solidarity and voicing critical views on existing cultural standards. The identity formed is not only personal but also part of a larger community identity.

This study aims to reconstruct the Islamic macroeconomic paradigm by focusing on fiscal policy and responses to resource scarcity. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, the study reveals that fiscal policy in Islam functions not only as a tool for economic stabilization but also as an instrument for equitable distribution and sustainable resource management. Historical analysis of fiscal practices during the Prophet Muhammad's era illustrates a zakat-, kharaj-, and fai-based system managed transparently and justly through baitul mal. In the modern context, challenges such as inequality, resource exploitation, and energy crises require a new approach grounded in maqashid shariah as the foundation of macroeconomic planning. Therefore, reconstructing Islamic macroeconomics is essential to establishing a just, sustainable, and spiritually rooted economic system.
