The development of Arabic learning materials requires a strong theoretical foundation so that the materials can help students understand the language effectively. This article aims to explain the role of linguistics, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics as the theoretical basis in the preparation of Arabic learning materials. The method used in this article is a literature study by reviewing various sources related to the development of language learning materials. The results of the study show that linguistics provides an understanding of the structure of the Arabic language, including sounds, word formation, sentence structure, and meaning. Psycholinguistics helps explain the process of language learning experienced by students so that learning materials can be designed according to their abilities and stages of development. Sociolinguistics explains the relationship between language and society so that learning materials can be adapted to the social and cultural context of language use. By integrating these three perspectives, Arabic learning materials can be developed in a more systematic, understandable, and relevant way to meet the needs of students.

Language processing disorders are disorders that arise when someone is under mental stress or experiencing deep emotional trauma. This study aims to analyze the various types of language processing disorders experienced by the character Tari in the film "Bolehkah Sekali Saja Aku Menangis" (May I Cry Once) and to determine the relationship between the character's emotional state and the linguistic symptoms that appear. This study uses a qualitative approach with a naturalistic approach and analytical descriptive methods, where data are collected through observation and recording of dialogues in the film that show signs of language disorders. Samples were taken purposively based on statements that indicate irregularities in sentence structure, long pauses, repetitions, or inappropriate word choices. This analysis compares the results of the study with existing psycholinguistic theories regarding how language processing works and the influence of trauma on speech production. The findings of this study indicate four main types of language processing disorders experienced by the character Tari: unfinished sentences, long pauses, repetitions of words or phrases, and inaccuracies in word choice. These types of disorders are more apparent when the character experiences high emotional stress and when interacting with family members related to her trauma.  The results of this study support the theory that emotional trauma can disrupt verbal working memory function and speech planning processes, ultimately impeding communication skills.

This study discusses children's language acquisition from a psycholinguistic perspective with a focus on Meanlength of Utterance (MLU), word categories, and sentence patterns. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and case study, data were collected through participant observation, audio recording, speech transcription, and social context recording. The research sample consisted of three children aged 39, 47, and 50 months with Indonesian as their first language. The results showed that MLU values increased with age, in accordance with Brown's theory, although there was individual variation. Analysis of word types showed that older children had a more diverse vocabulary, including nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, and numerals. In addition, the sentence patterns used by children developed from simple structures such as SP to more complex structures such as SPOK. This study confirms that MLU can be an indicator of children's syntactic development and helps in language identification delays. The results of this study are expected to contribute to psycholinguistic studies and become a reference in the field of child language education and intervention

This latah trend phenomenon is inseparable from the development of the television entertainment world in comedy shows in Indonesia, which considers the disorder of latah speech to be something funny among the younger generation. So, students consider someone who is latah in class to be something that is considered funny. This study aimed to identify the echopraxia latah speech disorder in elementary school teacher education students with a psycholinguistic approach. This research method uses the Milles and Huberman model content analysis method with data collection techniques conducting observations, interviews, and documentation on students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Esa Unggul University. The study results from three students who experienced echopraxia latah disorders. The sounds produced were categorized as moderate and caused noise during the learning process in class. This is because the noise created in the classroom is not from the latah utterances issued but because of the response of the classroom environment, which makes it noisy because someone who experiences echopraxia latah disorders does not only repeat their words but is followed by latah movements that are spoken. The causes of echopraxia latah disorders include spontaneity, daydreaming, being surprised when talking and being surprised from behind.

Advances in information and communication technology, including the use of gadgets, have affected various aspects of life, including language development in early childhood. This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on children's language development, especially early childhood who experience speech delays. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews with parents and children as a data collection technique. The results showed that excessive use of gadgets without supervision can inhibit children's verbal interaction, reduce stimulation from the social environment, and have an impact on speech delay. Other factors, such as lack of direct interaction with parents and excessive sugar consumption, also worsen children's language development. However, with learning strategies based on direct interaction and controlled utilization of devices as learning media, children's language development can be improved. This study emphasizes the importance of parents' role in providing assistance and limiting the use of devices. The results of this study provide insights for parents, educators, and researchers to better understand the impact of technology on children's development and the importance of appropriate stimulation in supporting children's language skills.
