Kajian Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Terapan 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study examines the influence of income inequality and poverty on the prevalence of stunting in ten provinces across Sumatra Island during the 2016–2024 period. Using a panel dataset of 90 observations and applying a Fixed Effect Model, the results indicate that both income inequality—measured by the Gini Ratio—and poverty have a positive and significant effect on stunting. The Gini Ratio shows a coefficient of 1.46 (p = 0.0002), while poverty records a coefficient of 6.28 (p = 0.0140), jointly explaining 52% of the variation in stunting prevalence. Spatial analysis further supports these findings, with Moran’s I values exceeding 0.40, suggesting strong spatial autocorrelation and clustering of high-stunting regions. High-risk clusters—Aceh, Jambi, and Bengkulu—are characterized by Gini Ratios above 0.33 and poverty levels exceeding 12%, reinforcing the existence of an intergenerational poverty–stunting trap, particularly influenced by urban–rural disparities (rural 53.3% vs urban 34.9%). The study highlights that specific nutrition interventions such as supplementary feeding, micronutrient programs, and breastfeeding promotion are insufficient without accompanying structural reforms addressing economic inequality. Therefore, multisectoral convergence strategies are required, including expanded conditional cash transfers, progressive local taxation reforms, nutrition-focused social assistance, and universal basic infrastructure to accelerate stunting reduction toward the 14.2% target by 2029.

The active phase of labor is a crucial stage that determines the progress and success of the delivery process. Prolonged labor during this phase can increase the risk of maternal complications and reduce the comfort of the laboring mother. Various non-pharmacological interventions have been developed to support the physiological progress of labor, including acupressure at the SP6 point and oxytocin massage. This study aims to analyze the differences in the effects of SP6 acupressure and oxytocin massage on the duration of the active phase of labor at the Galala Health Center in the Tidore Islands. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a comparative approach in two intervention groups. The sample consisted of 40 mothers in the first stage of active labor who met the inclusion criteria, with 20 respondents in the SP6 acupressure group and 20 respondents in the oxytocin massage group. The duration of the first stage of labor was calculated from 4 cm cervical dilation to complete 10 cm dilation and recorded using a partograph. Data were analyzed univariately to describe the distribution of labor duration and bivariately using the Mann–Whitney U test to assess the difference between the two groups. The results showed that the median duration of the first stage of labor in the SP6 acupressure group was shorter than in the oxytocin massage group. The Mann–Whitney test showed a statistically significant difference between the two intervention groups (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study indicates that SP6 acupressure is more effective than oxytocin massage in shortening the duration of the first stage of active labor. These findings support the use of SP6 acupressure as a safe and effective nonpharmacological intervention in intrapartum midwifery care in primary health care facilities.

Suicide among adolescents is a serious mental health problem; however, not all adolescents with suicidal ideation progress to suicide attempts. Understanding the psychological factors that influence the transition from intention to actual behavior is essential for effective prevention efforts. This study aims to examine the role of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in understanding the transition from suicidal intention to suicide attempt behavior, as well as protective behaviors such as mental health help-seeking among adolescents. This study employs a literature review method with a quantitative correlational approach based on the TPB framework, using secondary data from scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025 and obtained through Google Scholar and PubMed. The findings indicate that suicidal ideation is the strongest predictor of suicidal intention but does not always lead to suicide attempts. TPB constructs, particularly perceived behavioral control (PBC), play a crucial role in determining whether intention develops into risky behavior or is redirected toward protective behaviors. In addition, positive attitudes toward mental health services and supportive social norms were found to strengthen adolescents’ intentions to seek help. In conclusion, TPB is a relevant theoretical framework for explaining both risk pathways and prevention pathways of adolescent suicide and has the potential to serve as a foundation for developing more effective prevention interventions.

The state of law and democracy are two concepts that are interrelated in the mechanism of managing the government of a country. Democracy provides the foundation for creating equality and equality of rights for all citizens, while the state of law emphasizes that power in a country must be subject to the rule of law, not the will of a particular individual or group. This research is a normative legal research with a normative juridical approach that seeks to explore the harmony of legal rules with applicable norms. The results of the study show that from the colonial period to the reform era, a lot of progress has been made in strengthening the principles of the rule of law, both formally and substantially. The 1998 reform was a momentum that marked a strong commitment to make Indonesia a democratic country of law, where every citizen has rights and obligations protected by law. In Indonesia, democracy has gone through various phases from the parliamentary era, Guided Democracy, New Order, to the reform era that provides greater space for people's involvement.

In essence, technology has become an inseparable part of Generation Alpha’s life. However, the improper use of technology can affect their overall development. The technology available today has a significant influence on the progress of a nation; therefore, the roles of parents and educators are crucial in encouraging, controlling, and supervising children to prevent technology addiction. When used appropriately, technology can broaden knowledge through the internet and digital devices, enhance creativity in developing skills, and facilitate the learning process. Nevertheless, modern technology can also bring negative impacts, such as dependency, excessive screen time, and reduced social interaction, as children tend to spend more time in front of screens rather than engaging with their surroundings. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of technology on Generation Alpha from an Islamic perspective and to explore ways to implement this understanding.(Ari Fajar Isbakhi et al., 2025, p. 287) The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. The determination of the beginning of the lunar month is an important issue in religious practice and the establishment of the Hijri calendar in Indonesia. The diversity of imkan rukyat criteria used across countries necessitates an evaluation of international standards, including the 2016 Turkish Criteria, which are considered more progressive with parameters of a minimum crescent altitude of 5° and an elongation of 8°. This article examines the relevance of the 2016 Turkish Criteria within the astronomical and jurisprudential context of Indonesia, as well as its implications for the process of determining the beginning of the lunar month by the government and Islamic organizations. Through literature review, comparative astronomical analysis, and examination of hisab–rukyat practices in recent years, this study finds that the 2016 Turkish Criteria exhibit strong astronomical consistency and can enhance calendar predictability. However, its application in Indonesia may lead to discrepancies with the government’s criteria, which currently require a crescent altitude of 3° and an elongation of 6.4°. These implications include potential differences in month beginnings, the need for harmonizing criteria, and the importance of dialogue between national and international astronomical authorities. This study recommends strengthening astronomical and jurisprudential assessments prior to adopting new criteria and encourages the integration of global data to improve the accuracy of the Hijri calendar in Indonesia.

The epistemology of modern science develops with the assumption that neutrality and objectivity distinguish facts from values. This belief leads to the reduction of values, especially those related to ethical, metaphysical, and spiritual values, during the development of science. The purpose of this paper is to examine the problem of value reduction in the epistemology of modern science and to examine the Islamization of science as an epistemic alternative. This research method is qualitative, literature-based, and critical-philosophical. Epistemological critiques of value-free science, based on positivism and modern empiricism, and a study of the theory of the Islamization of science by Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and Ismail Raji al-Faruqi are used to complete the analysis. The results of this study indicate that the epistemological separation between facts and values in contemporary science leads to a decline in values. The Islamization of science offers an alternative epistemic framework that positions science as a meaningful, valuable, and goal-oriented activity. Thus, without rejecting the methodological progress of contemporary science, it remains a plausible option. Despite lingering problems with the methodological formulation, this article asserts that the Islamization of science is relevant as a theoretical response to the crisis of values in the epistemology of modern science.

This article examines the role of axiology as a value dimension in the philosophy of science, which serves to guide science so that it not only produces knowledge but also provides benefits that align with humanitarian, ethical, and sustainable values. This research uses a library study method by reviewing various literature discussing the concept of axiology. The results of the study indicate that science cannot be viewed as a value-free activity, because every stage of the scientific process, from problem selection and method development to data interpretation and application of research results, is constantly influenced by social norms, moral considerations, and certain values. Therefore, axiology plays a crucial role in ensuring that scientific progress prioritizes human welfare and does not have destructive impacts. Furthermore, critical thinking skills are an important element in the application of axiology, as they enable humans to assess and consider the benefits and consequences of science more deeply. This study also emphasizes that scientists have a moral responsibility both internally, such as maintaining academic integrity and scientific objectivity, and externally, namely ensuring that research results are utilized for the common good. Thus, this article highlights the importance of integration between science, ethics, and values as a foundation for developing knowledge that is not only scientifically correct, but also morally good and beneficial for the sustainability of life.
